My greatest fear is not being able to achieve all I desire in life.. I really have big plans for myself and family. ..sometimes I fear if I can ever reach those heights? But yeah, I CAN!!!. .. With God, all things are possible ![]() Then, I also have this fear of whether I will make heaven when I die.. ... God help me.. |
butanep:@bolded , very wonderful. . You already have a plan to expand your business; the other offer isn't worth stopping your ambition please. .. ●You're your own boss! Nothing better pass this ●Excellent work-life balance! Unlike the other job which will give you little or no time to venture into other important stuffs. The other job will practically tie you down esp as you're to work on weekends too.... ●If you do well with your plan, you may even start employing other graduates to help you tutor! You may even grow to become a known tutoring centre! From there expand to a school or even more! ● You also have passion for teaching... ● The new job wouldn't even pay you better. . ![]() I don't even see any confusion here, except you ain't confident that your tutoring business will flourish. . Whatever decision you make shaaa, don't throw away your entrepreneurial desire; not everyone is fortunate to have a 'good business idea'..... the "office work" you're considering is owned by someone like you. ... All the best.. ![]() |
Ishilove:Exactly! The gorilla never wanted to kill the child, he was only 'playing' ... He was even 'safeguarding' the boy behind him.... Seriously, I pitied the gorilla because he was completely innocent... it was the boy that invaded his territory and caused him to be killed, really sad... But yeah, the officials made the right decision. .. |
Since your personal cab business isn't making as much, I suggest you take up the new job. . You must request for an official appointment/contract letter stating your position, responsibilities, working hours, renumeration. .ettcc.. it should be duly signed. . After close of work at 5pm, you can resume your personal cab business(if you wish) and close maybe around 9 or 10pm....Then continue during the weekends too.. to add more money to ya pocket. . Wish you d best... |
Joysa:Alright. .Thanks for d info |
Hahahhaha, that of food is so true.. they be serving parents/adults rice with moi moi, salad and many pieces of meat while you're being served rice with shapeless small meat on top ![]() |
Chaiiii..just one reply so far.... but if na woman create this sort of thread, comments go dey flow, lol... Anyway, I have no job man... God's your strength and I pray she gets something soon... all d best... |
asadike:Anal Yuucccckkkk..chukwu jukwa ![]() Nne, whatever the issue is. .how's cheating going to solve it? How can you be seeking solution by compounding your problems? He should have found a way to lure his wife into doing what he desires. ... They're married and not some random people. ... There's no excuse to cheat! ! |
See how the silly man has disrespected himself and family infront of the whole world.. smh.... asadike:what about communicating to his wife if there's anything she isn't doing right? Is cheating the solution? The wife may not even know she isn't doing something right (if at all there's)... Imagine if every spouse, both men and women start misbehaving because of some shortcomings of their partners. .. |
Joysa:Congrats dear.. God bless your lil one... Did you still use st. Martins? If yes, how was your experience? |
Happy birthday beauty. ..God bless you ![]() |
absolutism:You want to claim independence and ''i am now a big boy kinda attitude" by disobeying your parents... now, your dad has granted you complete independence, why bothered? ? ![]() |
What's with all these sad news about marriages breaking up in this thread? I have read not less than three within the short time I have been here ![]() Which kind thing be this? Chinwendyn was one of those that inspired me to join this thread, with her ever positive energy. .. this is really so sad to read... No more 'sad' news bikonu ... Let's be more prayerful... and remember one another in our private prayers. . We are all more than conquerors! !!! |
This match is just uninteresting ... doesn't look like champions league final ![]() |
Game on!!! Go Atletico |
If your basis of comparison between a housewife and a working class wife is money, then you may be getting it all wrong because some housewives are way richer than some 'working class wives'... Some housewives' allowances are multiple(s) of what some working class women earn esp. in Nigeria where people earn as low as 30k or even less .. and yes they(housewives) have fatter account balances. .. Some housewives even have insurances to cover them in times of emergency. .. All housewives ain't broke.. For me, one needs to work to add value to oneself ... idleness no be am at all.... We just need to diversify/explore to make life more meaningful. ... I can't totally exclude money, however assuming all working class women have more money than housewives is totally wrong.... Cc: EfemenaXY |
I stand with Atletico CR7 will go trophyless this season ![]() |
EfemenaXY:Yeah. . A plan B is very much advisable. .. |
EfemenaXY:Lol, funny.... how you get treated as a housewife isn't dependent on where you live... depends on the kinda husband you have.... Also depends on the value the woman places on herself, that you're a housewife doesn't mean you shouldn't have plans for your life... People become (temporary) 'housewives' for many reasons. . Anyone can be ill-treated irrespective of location. .. |
quivah:@bolded, where did you see such in my comment? .... barely gave an example |
Imagine my daughter going to cohabit with a guy in the Uni...afterall she's an adult abi? Mtcheeew ![]() |
At first glance, reading the subject alone, you may blame the woman. .. but reading the whole article, I think the woman did the right thing. .. Their marriage was already in shambles with the man bringing in different mistresses.. Imagine if she hadn't secured herself financially, that's how the man would have thrown her out with nothing, then a small girl from somewhere will come and reap where she didn't sow... Very wise woman!! The husband's ego is simply bruised knowing his wife is doing well! |
If your fiance's parents are learned, they may eventually come around... but if they're typical traditional Igbo people, no 'Jupiter' can move their stance, they are even ready to disown their son.... My dear, you may just have to move on if his parents are so adamant except you won't be coming to the village after marriage. .then, God forbid if anything happens to the man after marriage, hmmmmm ![]() Then, what's your fiance's stand thus far? Is he shaky? Whatever decision you make, I will advise he gets his parent's approval before proceeding to marry you. . Forget about his siblings who are indifferent about the whole thingy, they'll take their parent's side eventually if all of you don't come together to agree. ... All d best... |
luccicouture:All advices given so far seem not to go well with you. .. so what options do you think you have?? And what exactly do you want Nairalanders to do for you? |
Hmmmmmmm..Odiegwu ![]() |
Hardeysolution:Someone answered you already na.. how are both related? ? You can't! ! Except you do a PGD...Then, some schools will take you if you have some relevant years of experience in civil engineering. .. |
@ subject, .....Sorry, your brother is the one destroying your family not the girl.. a third party can't 'destroy' your family if you don't allow him/her.... abi the girl use juju hold am? ![]() Your brother's attitude of selling your father's stuffs etcc further shows the kind of person he is... He really needs to work on himself. .. when next you have a meeting with him, talk more about changing his attitude rather than focusing on the girl... let him know the problem is from him and not necessarily the girl... If he can get his attitude right, then he can probably take better decisions concerning the girl and your family at large. .. Continue talking to him while still praying.... Then, If any of you can take your mum in, please do.. it's obvious her present environment is detrimental esp considering her health issues.... |
Hardeysolution:Yes! You "master" in something you already have prior knowledge of.... you just pick an aspect of your first degree which interests you most, then master in that... However, there's PGD.. for eg, if you have a bsc in mechanical engineering, you can do a PGD ( normally done for a year, to give you some knowledge about your intending masters course), before you can proceed for masters in maybe chemical engr..... All d best. . |
If at all you must marry her, you have to allay your fears..... Don't go into marriage with so much fears, suspicions and distrust. ..totally unhealthy for you and your relationship.. All d best... |
zaynie:Thanks a lot madam zaynie, will consider your suggestion. . ![]() |
A wonderful birthday Adonye ... God's blessings! |
So you and your fiancee can't reach a simple agreement on how to hold your wedding(s)... you want Nairalanders to tell you what to do? Smh. .. Anyway, I did mine on separate days..reason(s) best known to me and my husband... Go back, discuss with your fiancee and reach an agreement that will be for the best interest of both of you! |
