Let me use this hypothetical to make you understand your own story. You are, say 24 or 25, and dating a man of your dreams. But because you want to experience the world you let him go so that you can experience the world. After experiencing the so called world and now have high mileage you will now, say at age 32 or 33, say that you let go of that guy because it was the wrong time.

So it follows that what made the timing wrong for you was because you wanted to experience the world at that time of letting him go. Women like you will now be spending countless nights in night vigils praying for a husband.

I am not judging that your decisions were imprudent; I said they were seemingly imprudent. Anyway, neither here nor there, in my humble opinion, you have seemed to blame "the wrong time" for your decision of letting go of the man of your dreams. You, just like other women on this thread, have refused to blame themselves or accept responsibility for making the wrong decision. The first step towards redemption is accepting culpability for a decision gone wrong, not passing the blame on something else. Oh how the "wrong time" would be hitting his head on the wall for being blamed for something for which it may not be responsible.

Your statement still shows that you are trying to justify your unwillingness to commit to someone whom you said, in your own words, to be the right person. You are still attempting to calm your pain by envisioning--or perhaps hoping--that the supposed right person "might have been wrong after all," which just shows that it is nothing more than an attempt at consoling yourself for a seemingly imprudent decision in the past. You probably do not know that all those medicines you take had at one point undergone clinical trials. Someone has to be the guinea pig for new drugs or vaccine, as in that person has to make sacrifices in order to get the drug approved for commercial use. And in this situation, it makes sense that the people who are most afflicted, and who are in dire need of the vaccine, should be the ones in the clinical trials.

Yes & No. It seduces some & it doesn't seduce some. What if the guy spending the money does not attract you sexually or his sight repulses you, the babe would never give him a stellar performance in bed. I agree with you in part and disagree with you in part. I agree that there are some babes who are easily smitten by a guy with money, while some babes look beyond that. You also did say that a babe has to be attracted to a guy in order to please him and her. What you fail to take into account is that money, many times and not all the time, is what makes the babe attracted to the guy. What you said sounds good in theory, but in all practicalities, the wealthiest guys get the baddest babes. Generally, women are attracted to money. We may just have a difference of opinion on that.

Eya to all this women who are languishing in nostalgia. They were younger and did not appreciate the good men they had, but now they are older and are now wishing they could turn back the hands of time. Unfortunately, it does not happen like that.

This thread should hopefully show the young girls out there, who are with good men as we speak, not to end up being like this girls who are now regretting letting go of the good guys they once had. You sound like you allow your emotion to cloud your reasoning. Why should they first test it on Europeans who vacation in African countries? Does that make sense to you? The group of people who suffer from Malaria the most and who are in need of the vaccine are Africans, and they should be the ones who are tested first. The vacationing Europeans are not the primary victims of Malaria. I recognize your sentiment, but this is not one of those situations where a vaccine that is developed for worldwide use is being tested on Africans first, putting them at risk ahead of Europeans; this vaccine is being developed for areas that are seriously afflicted with the Malaria epidemic, of which Africa is a significant part. Numerous lives have been lost to this disease in Africa. I wholeheartedly welcome this development.

@OP: The aggressive and forceful style of Nigerian prayer you described, in my opinion, is no more effective than the laid back approach style of prayer. The Bible has indicated that faith, even if it is as little as a peppercorn, can move a mountain. God suffers from no hearing problems, nor does he need for humans to shout before he can hear us. God has also expressed no preference as to whether He prefers an aggressive style of prayer over a laid back one. Therefore, a prayer is effective not because of the style of delivery, but because the person praying has faith. Your laid back approach to praying, as long as you have faith and righteousness, is equally as effective as the aggressive, up-tempo style of praying.
