Good morning l have worked with all for me l prefer immigration because it is less stressful you can do so many PP's , your transfer is not rapid like DSS . Through immigration you meet so many people , your life is in more danger in DSS . The two advantages in DSS is power and accidental political richness that is rare. Immigration is the answer.

With DSS, you are exposed to a lot of top class training and intelligence gathering techniques.

Their pay and allowances is also good.

You can also easily become a security consultant after your service with the agency.

If you choose immigration, you will be hoping to be posted to a Passport processing office, a lucrative outfield office, MMIA (having low activities now), Oil platform like NLNG or the juiciest which is getting foreign posting to a first class European Country , USA , Canada .

Most of the job bit in Immigration are 'safe' except those in the outfield but they are mostly safe too if they don't involve in smuggling deals.

Basic Entry Salary for a Graduate in Immigration is also above 100k so its not a bad option too.

More money is made in either of the job options from 'runs' with Immigration having more of this but I believe this wouldn't be your focus. Lol

For DSS, if you are posted to Ops, it may be a little tricky when it comes to safety as you are exposed to all sorts of high calibre criminals but they are still far safer than say Nigeria Police or those in the Armies as some of them are only on the fields for intelligence gathering.

thanks bro. But by safety, I mean my personal safety, I don't want one in which life expectancy is low. That's why I said money is not the motivation but my safety (the less dangerous).

Now the options are between Immigration and DSS so which one should I go with I need the pros and cons of the two.
N.B safety is my topmost priority. Not money.
My qualifications are BSc Political Science (a 4pointer) and a two-year diploma (distinction). Thanks once again esteemed Nairalanders.

Anyone that has ever gone for the interview or works there or know about this company should please tell what's it like working there in terms of atmosphere, and growth. And also thier salary structure for a telesales agent.

guy, you are in the best position to advise me on this issue but I don't know why you are silent. I got the same message from this organisation. Should I go, did they turn out to be real? How mucg salary did they offer you or the person that got the job.
