At ur age u should know how to control feelings when ur alone with a girl talkless of ur cousin, u really messed up. However, all u have to do is give her time to heal maybe after a week go back and beg for forgivenness make sure u show full remorse but u must first plead for forgivenness 4rm God. It will never happen again. It is my first time, and I have learned a valuable lesson. My next would never be like this.
She leaves today. Easy bro. Girls are strange creatures. You're just about beginning the journey into their realm with their whims and caprices. . The fact that she actually had sex with someone within the same period and tried to pin it on you is just wrong. You have every right to be angry but like you said reacting badly won't change anything. Her sister is coming to pick her you say? Good. Hand her over in good health and bid her adieu. Grow wiser. Take it as a lesson but don't let it change the goodness in you. All the best. |

lovethchioma: This happened to me so many years ago. Just like your baby, I was very big too. My parents took me to different hospitals then and they said there was nothing that could be done to the hand, that my parents should just be exercising the hand. They continued doing that for me until I grew but there was no difference.
Well, I'm an adult today and I still suffer the mistake of those careless doctors/nurses. Still can't really use the hand much.. though you might not notice it easily except when I'm about to do something with my hands. So many persons ask why I don't use my two hands to type when I'm working with my laptop, I just tell them they wouldn't understand. I'm still faster than those who use two hands to type though.
I want to believe there should be solutions for this problem today, at least things have improved. So, anything you want to do about your baby's hand, please do it fast. At least the babies bones/nerves haven't fully formed so it's easier to make corrections now.
I don't know if at this my age, if anything could be done to correct mine. I will do anything to be able to use my left hand well. Doctors in the house.. I need your suggestions. Wow, so sorry to hear about your hand. But I believe you have adapted well without it. Kudos to you. I'm guessing your older than 10yrs definitely so a lot of time has passed. I'm not a physiotherapist but I don't know if EMS will still help. See s liscensed physiotherapist. All the best. |

amina2000: Goodmorning Family and happy New month. I just put to birth and it was a difficult delivery becos my baby was too big ,during delivery the upper limp of my baby was stretched that he could not move one his hands, or feel it.Pls I want to know if any mother has experience this and how were they able help heal or use the hand.thanks [s]Note :the scans was seeing a small baby so there was no room for C S[/s]. You don't need to put that last bit, it can happen to anybody, it's not your fault. The first thing you should do IMMEDIATELY is to take the baby for physiotherapy. I assume you gave birth in the hospital. Go to the physiotherapy department before the baby reaches one week! You can visit a neurosurgeon later (if he will do anything in this country). This is very serious. Don't say the baby is too young. Visit a physiotherapist first thing tomorrow so that they can assess the damage to the nerves(brachial plexus) and tell you how good or bad it is. All the best. |

eyinjuege: You are most likely the father. She probably ovulated around the 24th, assuming she had the 28 days cycle. You slept with her on the 28th ofJan. The ova/egg can still stay alive for 5 days, meaning that your shaku shaku on the 28th scored a goal. Issagoal
Edited- the egg actually stays alive for 24hours or so. Don't get married because of pregnancy. Do your DNA test, and claim the baby if its yours Again, op said her period ENDED on the 10th. It didn't begin on the 10th, it ended then. Which means her menses started from the 3rd to 5th. Kindly calculate again. Thanks |

kimbraa: Stop these your nonsense analysis. I remember him saying she's got a normal 28 days cycle, and going by that, her period started on the 10th as 4 days is the normal cycle. Having said that, body systems are different when it comes to women. What of the days they had sex after her period? And don't give me the fertility calculation as it doesn't hold true in some cases.
Op should take responsibility for his action and quit making up excuses. The best way to clear his doubt is to wait and get a DNA as we cannot tell if it's his child or not based on when or when not they had sex. Lol. You made absolutely no sense. Stop speaking from an emotional point of view. Dates were given. According to calculations chances are he is not the dad.Her period ENDED on the 10th, it didn't start on the 10th. Whether she menstruates for 2 days(unlikely) or 5 days(more probable), he still won't fall into the fertility period. And you saying I shouldnt use fertility calculation, what to you want me to use, wishful thinking? Chances are, op is not the dad. Simples. |

Beke2020: Dear Jzhane,
Please let the house look into this and advice me. I have been dating this guy for three years. This guy has anger issues. But he always say he loves me and that he is working on himself. About nine months ago,not really up to a year,he proposed to me.
Since that time,he has broken up with me at least three times. Anytime he is upset, maybe we are arguing,he will just get angry and say the engagement is over. The first time it happened,I begged him cos I thought I was the one at fault. He broke up with me for like a month and after that,we got back together.
The second time he broke up with me,I was surprised and I really thought it was over. What caused this break up was just ridiculous. It was after our marriage introduction,he got angry when called me at work one time and I told him I would call him back. Sincerely,I was so busy at work,I forgot to call him back and he refused to pick my call after that. He just sent me a text that its over cos If I cannot respect my husband to be by picking up his call then there is not need.
I was so upset at his flimsy excuse that I just ignored him. I left him alone for two weeks before he came begging saying he was sorry and that he was just having a bad day. I accepted him back and we started planning our wedding.
This last one happened just few weeks to our marriage. We had an argument about.....
https://livelystones.com.ng/is-his-strange-behavior-a-sign-of-love-or-danger/ The person youre about to marry isn't ready for marriage! Are you sure you didn't force him to propose to you? Gistboxblog: On a scale of one to ten (ten being most likely), what are the chances of me being the father?
To start with, I am unfamiliar with the female biology.
She has a 28-day cycle. Her last period ended on 14th January — to the best of my knowledge. We had sex on the 15th January (my first time, but the umpteenth time for her — not complaining). Then, we had intercourse again on the 28th and 29th of January.
From the 5-9th February, she continuously hinted that she might be pregnant having noticed changes in her body. Afterward, she confirmed she is pregnant on 11th February.
Today, according to scans, she is roughly 23 weeks pregnant, and I have been supporting her. However, she doesn’t want to give birth outside of wedlock, so we intend to go to a marriage registry soon.
Now, the only reason I’d walk her down the aisle is the baby (not that I don't want to marry her or that I do not love her, not just ready for marriage yet). I want her (the unborn child) to be born in a functioning family, not a baby-mama clime. Nonetheless, I am worried the baby might not be mine. Obviously, we can conduct a DNA test once the child is born, but it would be too late if the child turned out to be someone else’s. Worst, I’d be a divorcé at a tender age. I am not up to 30, but I am very comfortable.
I need fertility experts, women, doctors to please tell me what they think.
Based on the timeline of her cycle, period, pregnancy signs and such, what are the chances that I am the father? Chances are that you're not the dad. Her period ended on 14th. Usually females have a 3-5 day cycle. Let's say 5 days since it is more common. Means she started menses on 9th. Fertile 21-25th. U didn't see her on 20th to 26th. Ain't your baby bro. |

[quote author=eyinjuege post=68922160] All those vices have been in existence since time immemorial. We just like living in delusions of grandiosity. The priests who brought religion to us are werethe masters of rape, paedophilia and homosexuality.. So yes, don't bring religion into it, as most people are hypocrites. True, there is nothing new under the sun. However it wasn't as rampant then as it is now. As per our morals, is it not the same morals we had when we sold out brothers into slavery for mirrors and other ridiculous things? Is it today people have been defiling children and raping women? Your talking 15th century bro. Remember that at a time slave trade was considered the norm all over the world, not only in africa. Heck, if the Nazis had won we'd probably be engaging in slave trade till now. What I'm trying to say is that it has no bearing on our morals as a people as the world did not see it as a bad thing until one or two centuries ago. Is it today boyfriend /girlfriend have been in existence in Africa? Of course it's usually done in secrecy. There's the general belief that all the Blackman is good for is sex, and sex, and sex. We would rather be sexing than building and developing our nations. @bolded, wtf?? , I havent heard this before, who believes that? we need to face reality, and stop blaming westernization for our deficiencies. Agreed. Oyibo loves sex, but are not fixated on it. We love sex, and are fixated on it and hide under the guise of a morality that never existed. Bad combination IMO. You just said the priests that brought the religion were the masters of all kinds of sexual perversion. Oyibo virtually preach sex everywhere they go. They had an entire era on sexual promiscuity called the Sexual revolution, they champion homosexuality, bestiality and now incest, making it public and shameless and even putting it into law. thier movies and reality shows are filled with sex, sex and more sex! It is more than obvious that Oyibo love, are fixated on and even obsessed with sex! Do not mistake good leadership for good morals, we have had a string of bad leadership in this country hence the lack of progress. Its not because we are 'fixated' on sex. And yes, high morality DID exist. Its just the common false mantra for millennials to say it didn't so that they can justify the decadence in their current society. |

Xiadnat: She complained of leg pain?? Haba...this is classic textbook DVT.
Cause of death: Pulmonary Embolism (PE) secondary to Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) associated with pregnancy.
Yes pregnancy is a hypercoagulable state and induces blood clots.
Layman's term: she developed a clot that started in her leg, when she complained of leg pain, no one took her serious enough to head to nearest Accidents and Emergency room where she could have gotten IV heparin. Didn't get treated, the clot migrated to her lungs and stopped oxygen to lung and heart = immediate death.
Lesson: complaints of leg pain (especially unprovoked by definitive injury) should be DVT until proven wrong. Also, complaints of chest pain and difficult breathing should be ruled PE until proven wrong.
People DVT and PE are real emergencies (along with heart attacks). Totally treatable and avoidable death. RIP child.

As for the bold, I don't quite get you. Sexual suppression , not conformation. Typo. And why shouldn't Nigerians talk about immortality? Gerrard59: Not necessarily. It is because if it worked, the society would have been better - as an evidence. However, what do we see? Police, SARS, area boys, army, teachers and the general public exhibiting the end results of such system.
The end result shows beating a child does not work. The society WAS better until we became lax in morals. Police, SARS, area boys etc came as a result of corruption, not sexual conformation. Our parents generation (30s to 60s) were definitely better than us when it came to sexual discipline. Then teenage pregnancy was shamed and virgnity was extolled as a virtue. Our moral decay began when we embraced western style of sexual permissiveness. And now we have more rapes, more pedophiles, baby mama is now a title to be celebrated and people don't want to add 'religion' to the discussion. |
