I can't relate to your situation. I'm a very organised creature. It's pretty frustrating looking for car keys, so I lock mine inside the car.
Inside the carhuh Doesn't your car auto-lock?

After wearing the socks for a while it skewers left or right depending on my big toe, don't know if it happens like that for everyone embarassed But most times I can't really tell the difference either.

What's the purpose of the one following u? Why the following, to irritate the hell out of the person?

There's this movie I watched a long time ago where somethings were living in a house and misplacing items for fun. Can't remember the title but it freaked me out.

Find a specific place to put the keys and wallet like the top of the fridge or a bedside locker.
I do. I hang my keys on a nail close to the door most times and I leave my wallet in my trouser pockets. At least that's what I think I do, but by morning the keys can be under the staircase or the wallet in the kitchen.

Nollywood does not waste time on movies that they are not likely to sell to the masses. They act films to sell and get back their money fast.

If they put up this film for sale (market), only a few youth here (who don't even have money) will watch it free (without buying the CD). The rest of Nigerias will watch nyash film (the type that already makes money for nollywood).
Unfortunately this sounds very true embarassed

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9BpMRYPTBI
Nice clip, good visualsand very creative.

Issues:

1. At 1.07-1.16 the gunfire becomes repetitive and almost monotonous. In fact the movie was HOLLYWOOD stuff up to this point.

2. Great slow-mo effects at 1.38, however you may want to change the angle of filming to reflect the actors upper body instead of concentrating on his feet.

3. Did the actor deliberately put his picture at the middle of the end credits to obstruct the names of the director and special effects crew? that wasn't cool.

This is a nice clip and I will send it to a friend to put in his blog. Keep working at it, you're doing great.

HealthWhat Is The Strangest Experience You Have Ever Had With A Patient? by Prognose(op): 12:34pm On Jun 05, 2018
During my final year in the teaching hospital we were passing through our rotations in internal medicine. During this rotation you are supposed to go for ward rounds in the medical wards, clerk and attend to patients, set IV lines, monitor the patient's vitals etc. I had become pretty good at setting IV lines for infusions and was one of the guys the nurses called if a line was proving too difficult.

Enter this patient, let's call him Mr Wale. Mr wale was a well built man, black and hairy. Very prominent veins. He was being managed for acute exacerbation of his PUD and needed an IV line set up. I was hanging around after the usual ward round and one of the nurses winked at me to come and help the house-officer out. I smiled and came over.

The house officer was sweating profusely despite the overhead fan blowing at highest speed. I asked what the matter was and he said he was not sure. He sounded very confused. there were three used cannulas of different sizes on the table. I asked if he was having difficulty getting the vein and he looked at me and said hesitantly "I'm not sure."

All this while Mr wale was watching the two of us warily.

I politely asked if I could give it a try and he quickly obliged. I asked for a large bore cannula, the veins were easy to spot, so i didnt think it would be a big deal. I cleaned the place with spirit and went ahead to insert the cannula. What happened next stunned me to my core.

The cannula couldnt penetrate the skin. I stabbed and stabbed and eventually the cannula tip got bent and i had to discard it. I picked another one and tried another vein. The vein moved sideways so I tried to stabilize with my thumb and the cannula and pushed.

the same thing happened! It was like trying to cannulate a shoe, the needle just wouldnt penetrate! I looked at the now destroyed cannula and looked at the house officer who had a look of sheer confusion on his face. Other medical students had gathered by now and we were all sweating and looking at each other.

"Wetin una wan inject me for?" Mr. Wale finally spoke.

"Sorry sir, we want to set line for you." I replied.

"Abeg na tablet i go take, I no wan injection."

"No sir, its drip we want to give you, its part of the management sir." Someone at the back replied.

Mr Wale sighed and seemed to be in deep thought. Then he called I and the house officer closer and whispered

"Abeg tell all these people make dem comot."

We shooed everyone away as instructed and came back to him.

"Make una give me 5 mins abeg. Close the curtain."

We were nonplussed but eventually did as he instructed. We waited outside his cubicle as he did whatever it was he was doing. Then he asked us to come back in.

"Oya give me the injection."

The house-officer asked for a new cannula and picked the first vein we had tried, close to the same spot.

It went in flawlessly.

We watched in amazement as blood filled the canulla and then I quickly got the IV line and set it up. MR Wale watched both of us with a small smile on his face.

"How?" I finally asked when i saw the house-officer was not going to say anything.

"Una be small pikin" Mr Wale replied. "Una no go understand"

This happened for real, I'm not making it up and I have never forgotten that experience.

Why play politics with people's lives? Did u even enter d emergency room? U drove the same official car u have parked at home since the commencement of the JOHESU strike despite being a management staff to the hospital after we finished stabilizing the patients. U met d cmac & I outside d A&E and u left us there without entering A&E. Now you are here posting that patients with compound fractures and varying degrees of dislocations and severe avulsion injuries have minor cuts? Are u this wicked? Did any member of JOHESU step his or her feet into the A&E all through the 2 hours we spent resuscitating and stabilizing these patients? Are you aware the lock to the caravan which u people locked and went away with was broken just to have access to materials to use in saving these patient's lives? Do u know we did not bother going to the pharmacy to look for any drug? Its because even before u proceeded on ur strike the hospital pharmacy was already moribund and the pharmaceutical store outside the hospital already took over. We simply stepped outside the hospital to get the drugs and fluids we used. Do u know we used ordinary hands to suture those bleeding wounds as we couldn't gain access to any suturing pack locked up by u people? Are u aware half of these patients require formal surgeries as soon as they are stable enough? Are u d ones to operate on them? Do u know d full meaning of ORIF my brother? Were u or any member of ur striking union interviewed by any of TV stations? Are u aware NTA & ITV captured me while saving the lives of these patients and interviewed me thereafter? Are you equally aware channels news crew were in touch with me all through this process? Did u by chance see any of their camera sir? I haven't really said much. Only asking pertinent questions..

DrP2000:
The envy, hatred and sheer ignorance will not allow you to know what you are writing. To you all men are not created equal but you are agitating for equal pay and status with doctors. To you a doctor diagnosing ulcer in a cancer patient is wrong diagnosis, that shows why you can never pass 2MB talk more of becoming a doctor in your life. Now let me educate you a little. 1. A cancer patient on chemotherapy which is drug treatment of cancer will develop ulcer that is called STEROID induced ulcer 2. Some chronic ulcers can degenerate to gastric cancer especially when not properly managed over a long time. 3. Some of the symptoms of cancer is anorexia which leads to ulcer and weight loss. I can go on and on. 4. When treating a cancer patient, you treat also the complications, anyway you won't understand eg when a doctor is treating you for malaria, he will give antimalarial drug, he will also give you antipyrexia, he will also counsel the patient to use insecticide treated mosquito net, clean environment etc that is PREVENTION, but you don't know that all these goes, Sorry dear. A doctor treats the patient as a whole being not as a unit, we manage everything starting from symptoms to signs to complications and even to adeverse effect of the drugs we use in treating the patient but you are not a doctor and can never be one because you are mentally and intellectually lazy to even ask the doctor to educate you on the reasons for his diagnosis, all you care is salary increament and to answer CONSULTANT. My dear do your self a favour, (you stop learning when you are old), so whenever you are confused, politely approach the doctor for explanation, they are always willing to teach you for free.
You shouldn't have given this information for free, let some people keep wallowing in their ignorance.

I think you're getting worked up unnecessarily...

The frequency of the calls means you hear from her once every 4 moths or so which should not cause any worries so long as you avoid physical contact with her undecided
She has been calling more frequently since she left her husband na. Thats not the issue, the talk is usually very clean, just that half way through she bursts into tears and tells me she made a mistake by leaving me. I agree because we were young and broke up over flimsy reasons.

Anyway I know I should stop talking to her sha but I'm worried about her health and the tears. It's complicated.
