There is nothing bad in polygamy if you are financially capable. Many people deceiving them self thinking they are deceiving GOd. You claim is a sin to marry two wife, but prefere to commit adultry by having side chick . Even to the extent of having child from another women outside. Wouldn't it better if you marry that side chick legally.
Who says is only polygamy that face problem in marriage. Mongamy do either. A lot of couple ends there marriage nowaday due to infidelity. Is not the availability of suplus marriageable women caused it.?I am not the fans of polygamy, but only GOd knows tomorrow. But it is just provoke me whenever i hear polygamy is a sin or is bad. One man one woman on my football. When you get many girlfriend you Bleep out side marriage. Who is deceiving who
You do know it's a lot better having a girlfriend than second wife?

With the girlfriend, no real commitment, so it doesn't come with so much responsibilities... And you won't have to face the issues of the wives trying to compete with other, and doing things fetish, dangerous, or whatchamacallit... to be on the winning side... I will never dare two wives... I rather not marry.

And Marriage is not a must... I think it is exaggerated... Most married couples are not happy, especially women...

Some people think I am crazy when I tell them I don't mind my husband marrying a widow, divorcee or older unmarried women, but you spoke my reasons. All the single guys saying there will be people that will marry them, I put this question to them: can you marry any of them? A few that will say yes might even be playing lip service. I won't let my man know I don't care about it cos I think guys want ladies to be possesive of them too but honestly I don't care as long as he is capable, just and still shows me love and affection.
In Yoruba, "Orisa je npe meji obirin o si" meaning, no woman ever prayed for a rival in relationships. Unless, of course, she doesn't love or give a damn about the man.

I guess the second part applies to you unless you're the one "playing lip service" here.

Come on... It takes total determination... A team or group of determined individuals who can keep on inspiring one another!
If we can gather 30 good programmers on this forum that are determined.. Yes we can!
My point is valid. Nigerians don't really have innovative minds...Why build another whatsapp? A guy was posting everywhere in the forum that he built a Nigeria Facebook? Why? Why? Even Telegram, IMO WhatsApp are not even close yet..

I'm yet to see a very innovative idea in Nigeria, it doesn't has to be something complex but unique, useful, and solves a lot of problem.

Facebook was entirely new, different type of Social Network site and unique when it came into existence, there was myspace then, but Mark chose to build something different. Twitter, another social website, but still unique, and does most things differently from Facebook, Then Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest.... They are all the same, but unique...these products is a work of very creative minds...

I took a course from edx some years back, Innovation and Entrepreneurship. It changed the way I think ever since then.

And I don't think some group of young men, coming together to force an idea out will work... It doesn't work that way most times...

Nigerians way of thinking is more of making profits quickly instead of building a large user base(This is why most start-ups failed in Nigeria)...

I think it's because of the amount of stuff you can do as a Java programmer, just ńame it, apps, softwares etc. And once you know Java, it will be easy to move to dynamically typed languages like PHP. And the Oop implementation of Java is pretty solid too.
Yea... You are absolutely right
ProgrammingRe: Why You Hate PHP by pseudonomer: 11:02pm On Apr 21, 2017
adenijiayo:
Bro, you just made my day. No professional will engage in language wars because they know that all programming languages have their weaknesses and strengths. Most of these rookies just echo whatever their teacher told them or what they read somewhere about why PHP is bad.
I don't like it doesn't mean it's bad.... just personal preference... Just like me hating Pepsi, but loving coca-cola. I hate tea, but I love coffee... It doesn't mean the other is bad.

But why do PHP Programmers usually respect Java Programmers? Just like when I tell people I studied Mathematics, and they will be like bravo... But It doesn't mean Mathematics is better than Accounting... But it means they've took courses in Mathematics which required extra work to pass, so for you to be doing good in Mathematics shows you are brilliant which implies that some of the PHP developers have tried Java, and they felt you have to be very good in be good in it.

I have an instance during my intern, there is just one Java developer in the whole office(shared office of about 6 companies) the rest are mostly PHP developers, if you see the kind of respect they usually show this guy.... you will envy him.

Encryption was produced using unique public key RSA-1024 generated for this computer.
To decrypted files, you need to obtain private key.
The single copy of the private key, with will allow you to decrypt the files, is locate on a secret server on the internet.
The server will destroy the key within 78 hours after encryption completed.
To retrieve the private key, you need to Contact us by email , send us an email your DECRYPT-ID-29b5a3d0-c66f-4724-b5d1-322f92867f0e number
and wait for further instructions.
For you to be sure, that we can decrypt your files - you can send us a single encrypted file and we will send you back it in a decrypted form.
Please do not waste your time! You have 72 hours only! After that The Main Server will double your price!

also, all my files (music, videos, document, pictures, name it) have been encrypted to an extension of ".MOLE" and non seems to be opening no matter how much I tried opening it with the exception of already installed programs.

any help to unlock my files would be highly welcome.

cc: lalasticlala
Nothing you can do.... If it is really encrypted. Pay the hacker to give you the keys... Or lose your data.

Next time, don't open PDF file from a source you don't trust. It's so easy to spread ransomware these days.

Go to darknet sites like alphabay you will know these stuffs are real.

ProgrammingRe: List Of Failed Software Projects - What Went Wrong? by pseudonomer: 4:49pm On Apr 19, 2017
asalimpo:
I get you. Most self taughts learn just enough to get the job done and lack the motivation to learn more of the theory. But on the other hand, school has this way of making student learn in warehouse mode. Just read a lot of a lot with the hope that it will be useful in the future. Both are wrong.
That said, any body of knowledge that is documented and the documentation is available, can be learned by any one. Whether the documentation is in videos, book format etc. Once the knowledge is public,any1 can grasp it and consume it. With or without being in a formal setting. That's the point i'm making. There's no documented area of computer science programming knowledge that an ambitious person can't learn on his own!

Actually, school based learning is very very inefficient.
Some people get distracted sitting down for hours listening to somebody talk.
Some people learn slowly. others learn quickly.
Some people learn by doing-only when they want to tackle a problem and solve it, will they be motivated to study and know all they have to know about a topic.
Some people dont like crowds and crowded places - e.g libraries
Some people hate learning under pressure other like it.
The present education system dont cater for these differnt groups of students. So those who do not cope well under these systems are labelled as dull! Some of these dull people have come to believe that they are truly dull. But as a self taught, one can go at his own pace. And find out what works for him. The proof of learning isnt a piece of paper.
if there's a book on it, or a video on it - forget it. Somebody knows it or will know it!!. The only areas are those not yet made public , e.g those distributed in conferences, and in academia. Where they wont let anyone in without credentials or where you have to pay high fees to get the papers.
An ambitious self taught, can decide, to investigate a particular area of knowledge all by himself and know it. He has the confidence to do so because he has seen himself succeed in teaching himself an entire field all by himself. Self taughts know that, if they want to learn it they can.

See this article of some1 who taught himself , MIT's 4 yr bsc curriculum in 1 year- 2000 - 2400 hrs!!
https://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/10vjy0/i_spent_the_last_12_months_learning_mits_4year/.
(does he have the knowledge? Yes. Can he use it?/deploy it? Yes. Will employers trust him? No. Will they hire him? No/Most likely not. )

- I know of one who taught himself enough to be a computer scientists, wrote algorithms that are still in use today.
- There's a downside to it, but there's an upside too. Knowledge resides in your mind, not a piece of paper. Once you know it , you know it. The hardest part is motivation!
- It can take longer. Say 10 yrs+ and nobody will recognise you!! - but that's a social and psychological dimension- you may also die unknown!! Bad. But the issue is can you learn it on your own!! That's the big million dollar question? - Yes!!! A resounding Yes. If you so wish.
Being a software developer requires more than being good at programming. School will teach you approach to problem solving. I took courses on Data structure and algorithm, operating system, assembly language, and some programming methodology, C++, C and so many others as a Mathematics major. You need those skills to actually be a good software developer. But I couldn't even develop anything reasonable, until I "self-taught" myself, and work on real life application during my intern days. The advantage is that you learn very fast, and very effective.

I believe you can teach yourself to be a very good developer if you are very good in logic and critical thinking... and you know what to learn.

But the best developers I have met who actually understands their codes, and knows how it works and why it works the way it works have some background is computer science, they either study computer science/engineering, mathematics, elect/elect or something related.

HealthExpiring Date Of Drugs by pseudonomer(op): 10:05am On Mar 29, 2017
I bought a drug for my nephew from a pharmacy yesterday evening, I didn't check the expiring date. This morning, when drug is to b used, my sister discovered it was watery and sour/bitter, so checked the expiring date, it says 03/2017. I went back there to return it, the pharmacist said it has not expired and it was supposed to expire next month, she said, I'm entitled to refund. Though the drug is cheap, but why would they sell expired drugs and no apologies, and what will be the result if the boy had the drug.

The drug is muti-vitamin syrup.

To pharmacists in the house. Do you think she's right, and what can be done?

ProgrammingRe: What The Difference In Local, Global, Static Variable Declearation by pseudonomer: 3:46pm On Mar 26, 2017
Global is declared outside the method/function. While Local is declared inside the function/method. Static variable gets memory only once in the class at the time the is class loading...

Meaning the global variable can be accessed anywhere within the class, local variable can be accessed only within the method and meaning not accessible outside the function that it is being declared. And static variable can be accessed in static method.
