EVILFOREST: What you said, is the REALITY, even in the US. U travel down to your community and pick a Lady of your choice, only for her to be turned into a DRAGON few minutes after arrival in the US, all because of FREEDOM. Most NIGERIAN LADIES who suddenly become Emergency NURSES by virtue of assistance from their diaspora based Husbands suddenly develop EGO.... and can decimate their husbands, rendering them homeless.
IF U get a GOOD WIFE abroad, just keep going for special thanksgiving. My Brothers and Uncles have suffered in their Hands. We no Longer recommend NIGERIAN LADIES to my people in diaspora. MEN should go out and choose their heart throbs themselves, from any continent of their choice.
It's very disheartening that a Man will travel several hours back to AFRICA to get a wife, only for him to Land a terrible package..
BEST ADVICE FOR THE CONFUSED MEN. Please, Ensure you MARRY the LADY that Loves you more than you Love her. This is where the ADVANTAGE lies. Most ladies in Nigeria will pretend to love you like forever as soon as you tell them you live abroad which can be very confusing... even the ones that was playing some form of hard to get back then will suddenly build this kind of “loving you” stuffs. I think I will start thinking in your direction from now, it doesn’t worth it... bringing a lady from Nigeria, and things later get so messy. Every married “egbons” that I know abroad always beg me not to marry Nigerians. |

Mizormac: no not all. I'm even antisocial Because you fail at school doesn’t mean you’re not smart or something... I’ve seen many smart students failed. First, you need to know how to pass exams. It is every important. You need to know the most important things to memorize while studying for exams. Get past questions, check the patterns of the questions. Ask your professors how they mark your exam papers, and see why lose some marks and all that. And most importantly, always give yourself a mock exam before the real exam and see how you fair. Move with A’s students, these types of student usually know some studying tricks or something that can be very beneficial. Like it has already been suggested. If your grades are too bad and you felt you can’t catch up, talk to your parents about starting all over again. Forget the shame right now, your success later will compensate for it. Suicide is never an option, there’s always a solution. |

flowsneh: Guys,
Is it possible to apply for German student visa if you start a program in another EU country or US and get their visa/residence permit?
Let's say you apply to Estonia or Lithuania and get their residence permit based on student visa, can you apply for German student visa from there without having to come back to Nigeria? You don’t need a visa to study in Germany if you have residence permit from other EU countries... All you have to do is Apply for a residence permit in Germany with your Admission letter. |

Davash222: After the day's toil, a married man needs the wife's cuddle and touches at night. It's essential in every young marriage. Coming back home at night to behold your sexy wife alone with lingerie at your wide bed gives joy and also elongates life's span. Wives should stop depriving their husbands this privilege. One of the reasons for having children bedrooms is to create provisions for these things.

Focusmind: Yes, Germany may be an exception but you have to raise your a little bit further by being fluent in German.
No foreign employer would want to higher someone that cannot communicate properly.
Even companies in UK, US and Canada reject international job applicants that are English speakers because of their poor accent or heavy African accents. I am definite, the case is different with IT companies. I know so many people(Africans and other foreigners) working in IT firms in Berlin, Dusseldorf, Koln, Dortmund without any German... but obviously, knowledge of German will open more opportunities and also edge. It is essential to integrate socially. Other fields.. I can’t say |
Education › Re: Nigerians Who Studied Abroad, Do You Have Any Regrets? by pseudonomer: 2:02pm On Nov 11, 2019 |
Focusmind: People are asking why would anyone regret studying abroad? My people, if after studying abroad and you couldn't get any decent job afterwards, you would be full of regrets.
Some of my colleague in 2009 came to UK on self- sponsorship, paid millions and at the end of their programs, the Conservative government of David Cameroon told them to go back to their respective countries. Companies were told to first consider UK/ EU. Citizens before any international applicant.
It was a hopeless situation for many Nigerian students. Some came back to Nigeria to pick up call centre jobs with MTN and others while some struggled with entry level positions.
I thanked God that I came to UK under scholarship and there was no regret. Luckily, I got something on my return back to Nigeria.
If you want to study and sponsor your self, please head to Canada, New zealand or Australia. Avoid UK or EU countries. If you study in UK or any EU countries, you will be considered last in employment after the citizens of 28 member EU must have been considered.
Don't get me wrong, People still get jobs after studying in UK but it is very tough now. Most Nigerians go abroad to study with purpose of securing decent job and settling there. Most are not interested in coming back. If this is your intention, avoid EU countries.
It has caused a lot of depression to many people after studying abroad, paid the huge millions and come back to Nigeria to hustle for jobs with local graduates.
Some abroad graduates even hides to avoid people asking them questions after coming back to Nigeria. They see themselves as failure if they have nothing to show after returning back to Nigeria. Germany is an exception in EU |
Education › Re: Is Further Mathematics Compulsory To Study Computer Engineering? by pseudonomer: 2:42pm On Nov 09, 2019 |
Simran94: The bolded is not true. Not everyone will be good in mathematics but that doesn't mean they are not smart... You don't need to be a mathematician to be a programmer. If you don't understand basic concept of Mathematics, I doubt if you are going to make a good programmer(There are more wack programmers than the good ones). To me, knowing how to design a good effective algorithm, is the corner stone of a good programmer. Designing an algorithm to solve a particular problem in an efficient way requires applying some mathematics principle. And for complex problems, it becomes difficult for you if your mathematical background is not strong. And of course, I don't mean designers, who simply design interface and or some front-end stuff. If you can't understand how functions work in Mathematics, how would you have a clear understanding of how methods/functions works in programming. If you don't know how to solve a simple logic question that will take hours of reasoning to solve, where as you could solve it within very few minutes with basic mathematics principles, then there is high probability of you making wrong or less effective decisions, or let me say more time consuming solutions in real life... that is why I claimed, one might not be smart if one can't think mathematically. I have not met extremely smart individual who is not good in Mathematics, no matter the field they may operate in their daily life, be it trader, business owners, doctors, engineers, artist... or anything... Note: I generally assume, I am not that good in Mathematics... so I wouldn't consider myself smart. |

Isnow: no be smalloo..what annoyed me most when I was in school was that all of those calculations we did..the lectures can never tell you where those things are applicable. no practical nothing... I will tell you, Mathematics is the core of AI and Machine Learning that is now trending in technology. Matrices and Vectors are very essential. And Many More. All topics is very essential... Every new technology that's is implemented is a result of breakthrough in Science Research, Image recognition, your super computing and others. The founder of Programming Language was a Mathematician. How do you develop efficient and fast algorithms in software programming without having solid background in mathematics? If you are not good in Mathematics, you are simply not smart! |

EazyMoh: Can you provide proof for this? In my experience, No! but it's an added advantage. The word Further Mathematics is deceit. I will simply call it Mathematics. If you to study Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, and even some sort of Chemistry... You'd need to be sound in: 1. Functions 2. Differentiation and Integration principles 3. Logical Reasoning(Computer Science, Computer/Electronic/Electrical Engineering). 4. Vectors 4. Matrices Which is what mainly comprises what you guys called Further Mathematics. |

Buliwyf: Do u know the meaning of "ostracize"? Or u are just another lying JW? If you have to mean it that way literally, then you have no point. If a Muslim converts to Christian, or a Catholic Member converts to CAC, would the mosque or Church respectively still want to associate with such person? No, it’s fundamental, but of course, it wouldn’t stop a true friendship with the members of the mosque or Church. It’s a thing of common of interest, rather than being extremist. They never harm anyone in anyway. Note: My teenage gf broke up with me because I’m not a JW, she insisted on me converting, but I said no because I wasn’t convinced. And listening to her points, she’s valid... it’s a thing of common interest. |

They like tearing families apart and ostracizing people who leave their church while their leaders engage in abuse of power and other sexual malfeasance.
Now feel it!!! I am not a Jehovah Witness, but in no way are they extremist, I have attended a few of their conferences and gatherings. In no way are they violent or evil... This is so sad, I don’t know why they keep persecuting Jehovah Witness members? |
