If they are very sure they want to fight corruption, this is one of the right opportunity to prove they meant well for Nigeria and Nigerians.

If it was to be in a country where things are done well, Akpabio and the woman will go down together.
The Freedom of Information (FoI) Act, 2011 stipulates that you have to give the information timely to prevent crime/corruption from happening or to stop the corruption from further progress.
It also gives protection to the whistle blower.
The act makes it a crime and a punishable criminal offence for any public officer to see evil against public interest and do nothing.

This woman allowed the corruption to continue under her nose and around her office without blowing the whistle.
She waited till when she had a problem to start testifying.
She committed a crime by keeping quiet.
Let her finish her testimony and they will bring up her own case.

Accomplish is not measured only on finance.
You may be making you millions and be comfortable with it.
He may be making his in thousands and still be comfortable.
It all depends on what your focus on this life is all about.
I have seen a teacher that one of his students back in school then helped and the teacher is doing wonderfully great now.
A friend of mine is an intelligent teacher.
A father to one of his pupils who is a politician has given the guy supply business in the LGA office.
The guy is combining his teaching job to the supply business that is giving him so much money that at a point he wanted to drop the teaching job.
I advised him not to do dat, rather he should try to get more degrees to see if he can get teaching job in a higher School or university.

You talked of getting stuck in classroom. Teaching job is one of such professions that will give you enough time to yourself and your family.
Some times, you get 3months holidays. Resting at home while ur salary is running.

Shortly after service, my friend wanted us both to become private school teachers. Said all manner of juicy stuff about how pensionable his job was.
I was actually fascinated to see his home and how lovely it looked. Then, I was only broke, depressed and stayed with my parents. I regretted not joining him.
But when I took into business, i realized how quickly I caught up with him. It wasn't a competition for me but I noticed how i achieved in 2yrs what he achieved in 5yrs. Then, i knew how making money can be easy without this teaching stress.
I never regrets my decision to not teach despite the pay.
Those in the formal sector have no idea how easy it is to make hundreds of thousands within a month in the informal sector.

You think his job is more stressful than his.
Do you know how he sees your biz?
He may see it as the most stressful thing one can do and he may never wish to do that kind of biz u are doing.

Successful is a relative term. I believe what you mean by successful here is in terms of finance.
If you are a "successful" woman and a man below your class is wooing you and if you love the man and really wish to settle with her, I don't think that question will be necessary cos you are only seeing the relationship based on what you have acquired materially.

If the "successful" woman does not love the man that is below her class, no need of wasting time asking irrelevant question. Tell the man that you are not interested and keep going. No need of exhibiting class.

Well, I beliv you reacted without really understanding my stand there. Probably, u may be thinking that I was against the proposed protest by the teachers. I was never against it. What I meant was, instead of government trying to find a solution to them, they will rather resort to making things more difficult for them.

With the way government behave towards private school, instead of seeing the good things they are doing in the society; trying to restore the decaying education system, they will be giving them stringent conditions that will make their operations difficult.

Private schools have singlehandedly carried and still carrying education in Nigeria.

Private schools and private school teachers need to be pampered and supported. Of course with the aim of getting them better.

Like I always say, Nigerian government is still in primary 1 while her European and Asian counterparts are already graduating university.

After the protest, when schools resume, the government/ministry of education will find more stringent conditions to impose on private schools to suffer them for their protest.
This is Nigeria.

Meanwhile, by the time schools will resume, these private schools especially, those that are not so influencial will lose most of their teachers. The teachers will go into another trade which they may find better profiting than the stress the school owners do subject them to.
