He does not have the heart of a politician.
He does not know that letting ppl know that he is bn pained by that tag will energize them to tag that to him more.
If he wants them to stop it, just ignore it and pretend you don't know about it.
Or you can always make fun with the tag and laugh it out and those that tag you with that will even start getting angry at how u are making fun of the tag. With that they will get tired of it.

Just one tag and he is already having sleepless nights over it.

'Lots of hitches' like? I know there could be issues in interpreting results sometimes like having DNA samples of close family members in crime scene..'are they the criminals or did they come into the scene as a normal routine of the relationship etc...But my submission was not about technical hitches or indeed how many hospitals are able to perform it...it's about expecting the victim or the family to pay for it. I'm sure you understood my argument but deliberately decided to shift it to where it would give you something to say, since you have nothing to controvert the issue I raised
No one is denying anything. Just that you want to make Nigerians seem as fools or those that don't know their rights.
You have bn in this country and knows how things run.
You knows full well that no police station will spend money for you to carryout your investigations for you.
They will rather rip u off the little you have after the problem that befalls you.
There is little anyone can do about this.
And there is nothing even YOU can do about this.

When I asked, how many victims can afford the cost of the DNA test. You know very well about the situation on ground but because you feel you know more than every other person, you started talking down on Nigerians on how they don't know their rights.
Even the Aso Rock Clinic has no Paracetamol according to the First Lady how much less making money available for Police to handle DNA test free of charge for rape victims. Even if the fund is provided, they will still compelled the victims to pay for it or forget about the investigation.

Do you want to claim you don't know about such a situation?

When I read writeups like this, I feel sorry for Nigerians. They don't even know what to expect from the govermment because they have failed so much that their failure is now the norm...So a rape victim or the distressed family should pay for investigation into a crime committed against them? When Omoyele Sowore calls for revolution, the message doesn't go far enough because even the masses have no idea what people they pay tax to, people that have appropriated their resources and mortgaged their lives, should be doing for them.
My friend go and rest. Stop this your Social Media forming.
How many times have u gone to the Police Station and the Police or government spend money on your behalf.
You will pay for paper, pen and even the table you leaned on to write ur statement.

Even in your imagined government where ppl know their right, the issue of running DNA test still has lots of hitches even as the practice have bn there for as far back as 1986 and we just started the practice here in Nigeria around 2017. How many hospitals have the facility to run the test?

Advance in technology has made it to be "straight forward". Use of DNA test and other scans and tests can be used to determine if a rape actually took place. Granted there are few cases of consensual sex turned rape, but proper investigations wiil determine and classify them as such.
How many of the victims can afford DNA test.
That is two different DNA test for one case.

In Africa, we instill discipline in children.
We flog, spank and knock.
So long as u are doing it without wicked mind.
It has helped to bring up disciplined children in Africa.
We are very much proud of our parents that flogged and shaped us to what we are today.
This woman is comparing our mode of discipline with that of the Western world.
This is so absurd.
Forget about our backwardness and corruption here in Africa. Africans produce more disciplined children than Western word that always talk about Child Abuse and Right.
You don't give a child right more than he/she can handle.

The Pastors are not contacting the virus cos they are not mingling with ppl, but because they are abiding by the tips given by WHO. They also provide safety measures in their churches. So I will say that government should forget about their silly restrictions against churches and focus it more on politicians and other places that do not abide by the safety tips.

Government is just angry about churches cos they cannot collect tax from them.

How can you compare food with these con men businesses... The real church is not making noise.. Just business centers have been disturbing our peace...
Your question is totally illogical. Let us forget about what we have about churches or religion. If the virus is bn contacted by mixing up wt crowd, and markets are open for about 10hrs in a day, telling churches to take 1hr or 2hrs only for their service is irrational.

You talked about food. If u can't get the virus cos u went out to buy food, I tell you, you will be safer going to church for service.
Remember, in the market, everyone in the community and its environs comes there, at that central place irrespective of ur religion and affiliation. In the church, only a small portion of the crowd will gather in a particular place to worship.

If they want to ban churches in Nigeria, they should come out openly to do that and not using Corona Virus as an excuse.
Events › 10 Facts About August-born Babies by Psoul(op): 12:06pm On Aug 01, 2020
Whether you’re an August baby yourself or you’re about to have one, these things may surprise you.

1. They tend to be confident, strong and organised

August babies are either Leos or Virgos, and there’s a lot to like about people born under those both of those signs, says Dr. Athena Perrakis, an astrologist and CEO of crystal company Sage Goddess in the US. “Leos are confident,” she explains. “They’re very strong people, physically and mentally — they’re very strong-willed. They’re also very proud and very charismatic.”

Virgos have just as many appealing personality traits, she notes: “Virgos are very organised, very precise, and detail-oriented. They’re reliable and they’re also intelligent, practical people. They’re charismatic, too, but theirs is a quiet charisma.”

2. They’re in good company

Tons of popular celebrities were born in August, like Blake Lively, Anna Kendrick, Mila Kunis, Kylie Jenner, Jennifer Lawrence, and Demi Lovato, just to name a few. August-born people also share a birth month with three former American presidents: Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, and Lyndon B. Johnson.

3. They’ll probably end up in leadership positions

Don’t be surprised if your boss was born in August. Perrakis explains that people who celebrate birthdays this time of year tend to end up at the top: “They make naturally strong leaders, because of their charisma and because of their confidence.”

4. They may find compatibility with other August babies

Perrakis is a Leo, and her husband is a Virgo, and she says these types of pairs aren’t uncommon. Leos are ruled by the sun, so they’re incredibly passionate, and Virgos, ruled by Mercury, are great at communication and coordination.

“It’s a really beautiful balance that they strike together, which is why, even though you would not think they would be good partners to each other, there’s actually a high number of Leo/Virgo relationships. They end up filling in each other’s gaps,” she says.

5. Their birth flower is the Gladiola

Who knew birth flowers were a thing? The flower of the month of August is a gladiola, which is said to represent character traits like strength and moral integrity. Because of their sword-shaped leaves, when you give someone a bouquet of gladiolas it is said that you are “piercing the recipient’s heart with passion.”

6. They may butt heads with Aquarius and Pisces

Dr. Perrakis says it’s easy to tell who an August baby won’t mesh with by looking at an astrology wheel. The sign directly across from yours is the one you’re least compatible with. For Leo, that’s Aquarius; for Virgo, it’s Pisces. “Those would be the most challenging partnerships,” Perrakis says.

7. They’ll be smart (but difficult) children

The big personalities that Leos and Virgos possess are apparent very early. “Leo children and Virgo children are both very smart. Even as babies, they tend to be developmentally ahead,” Perrakis says. Combine that intelligence with their headstrong approach to life and they’re unstoppable. “Parents of Leos and of Virgos should be really ready to not just teach their children, but be taught bytheir children,” she cautions.

8. They love the spotlight

Check to see if your favorite actor or singer is an August-born baby, because Leos in particular thrive in creative spaces where they aren’t constrained by rules. “You see a lot of artists who are Leos,” Perrakis says. “You also find a lot of Leos in entertainment, a lot of actors, a lot of people in all parts of the entertainment industry because they are charismatic.”

9. They’re generally good teachers

Leos and Virgos make great teachers, both in and out of the classroom. August-born babies should try to use this to their advantage, whatever career path they choose. “They can thrive as teachers because they have a natural authority,” Perrakis says.

10. Their birth stone is the Peridot

This green gem is often mistaken for an emerald, but it has its own hue and is just as pretty. According to research, when a peridot is combined with gold it takes on ~magical~ powers, and can even keep nightmares at bay.

So, let's gather here to celebrate all August-Born men and women.
