Evil spirits too much for India. How can a whole tooth brush, hook, line and sinker pass someone's throat and land inside the stomach.
It was also in this country that about 19 cockroaches were removed from a man's inner ear.
A ball of hair about 7kg also removed from someone's stomach.

mariahAngel:
God's plan for man is procreation.
Whatever is contrary to God's plan is rebellion against God and vasectomy is against procreation. Therefore, it is a sin before God.
With all due respect, this argument sounds so irrational and archaic to me.
Do you really understand the topic at all or are you just trying to make a joke.
Christianity does not mean foolishness.
Although I may not readily give myself to Vasectomy, but I don't see those doing it as bn rebellious to words of God.

You said that the purpose of God for men is procreation. My dear, that was not the sole purpose of God to men. He also want us to make the world a lovely place to live in.
If you are against Vasectomy based on Christianity and calls it rebellion to God's words, then you are also rebellious to God's words when you have about 3 or 4 kids ( or the number u feel u wish to have) and you stop. Stopping bearing children should also be seen as rebellious to God. You should keep having children as long as you have sperm and you wife still have eggs in her.

The way we carry this our Christianity stuff sometimes is so worrying.

Sometimes, when I read about using some of these countries as yardstick of development to assess Nigeria, I feel somehow.
If Nigeria and her leaders have removed corruption, nepotism, tribalism and political intolerance, so many countries would have bn using us to challenge other countries on what development should look like.

We have all it will take to make every country to be lining up just to access Nigeria visa to just come and have a taste of what Nigeria looks like. Now almost every country don't want to see us.

Now see the kind of thing we are boasting of. Something that we should be among the first countries that have it.

Quite understandable, but isn't it a sin to insult?
Are we not suppose to pray for our enemies to repent instead?

Romans 12:14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do
not curse them.

Romans 14:1 As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome
him, but not to quarrel over opinions.
Not every time you need to pray or intercede for an unrepentant sinner.
There are sometimes you allow God to punish such person or even pray that God should hasten up in destroying the person.

Jeremiah 7:16 & 20

16 "And you, Jeremiah, don't waste your time praying for this people. Don't offer to make petitions or intercessions. Don't bother me with them. I'm not listening.
20 "Here's what the Master God has to say: 'My white-hot anger is about to descend on this country and everything in it - people and animals, trees in the field and vegetables in the garden - a raging wildfire that no one can put out.'

Christianity Etc › Re: 10 'little' Things We Forget To Thank God For by Psoul(m): 5:31pm On Sep 13, 2020
ggirl4real:
Christians and emotions. Na wa for una o...

You've made so many assumptions about me even when you don't know me.

I know you guys can go to any length to defend your beliefs but can't you guys really do that without insults?

Anyway, let me point out some of your errors:

(a) You talked about me being wretched in "higher wisdom". Whatever that means. The question I asked is based on the reality on ground. I'm a human not spirit so I view things from the realistic aspect. I think I have a right to do so. I'm not breaking any law in the Nigerian constitution.

(b) You assumed that I don't believe in a " supreme power". Did I tell you that?

(c) You said I serve a "tiny god". Please which one is that? Where does he live?

(d) Finally, I still maintain that if God is all-powerful, no christian should suffer, whether lazy or not. Be sincere, if your father is the richest in the universe, will you still have to suffer and strive?

Please, you can express your opinions but try to avoid insults but if you still feel that you have to throw insults to drive home your point, I'm sorry because I won't know how to reply you with insult and your insults won't make " unbelievers" to stop asking questions.
I did not insult you in any way unless that is the way you feel about the facts I put to you.

Let me pick few statements from the points you pointed out. I talked about wretchedness in wisdom especially higher wisdom. You just affirmed that my assumption. You said that you are a human and just speak according to the little you know as an ordinary human and you are not a spirit. This sounds sweet but it shows that you are limited in knowledge. I hope you don't take this as an insult.
If you only sees yourself as an everyday human, you'll be highly limited from knowing so many things. You need to break that limitation and you can still seeing things like spirit. Yes, like spirit. They will improve your higher wisdom. Think of who invented the phone and internet you are using today. They don't think like everyday humans. Can u see dat?

You said I assumed you did not believe in Supreme Being. Yes, I assume that. If you believe in that, your words are contradicting that unless if what u sees as Supreme Being is those tiny gods.

Finally, in your bid to prove that there's no God and if there is that He is not all-powerful, you made statement that will be credited to someone that has poor understanding of real life.
You said no Christian should suffer if there's all powerful God just like a rich father will not allow his children suffer. Hahahaha.
This shows you still sees God as a man and want to compel Him to live like man.

Let me explain to you. Our God is the God of all humans. As I told u earlier, He made rules what you will do to get what. That means He's a God of principle. When you follow His laws, you'll get what He promised.

He does not support laziness. So you must work to eat. It was even written in the Bible. He who does not want to work should not eat.

You said a rich father will not allow his children to suffer. Yes, that is right. A principle rich father will deny an irresponsible child so many things. Some of such fathers will even invite police to lock up such a child until he's read to behave well.
Some will disown such child.

If God should give all Christians ask they want just because they are Christians, then God had fail Himself in the purpose he created man. Every Christian will just be in the house sleeping, eating and live anyhow and still get whatever he or she wants.
Doesn't this sound unreasonable to you?
Christianity Etc › Re: 10 'little' Things We Forget To Thank God For by Psoul(m): 12:54pm On Sep 13, 2020
ggirl4real:
I don't understand why we should thank God for all these things.

Aside from number 10 (which is just a mindset), how sure are we that it is "God" that make these things possible?

If He's the one, I think all atheists and free thinkers should be denied these things.

Since everyone has access to these things you've mentioned, I don't see why we should thank God for them.

As a matter of fact, I'm very sure that there are many Christians who are struggling to access these things. Some die in the process while some free thinkers are still enjoying full access. Whose fault is this?
With every respect, your comment shows how wretched you are in wisdom, especially higher wisdom.

I don't know if you're trying to just attach attention or is this really your knowledge can hold.

If you think that because you sunshine, the rainfall and the air we breathe are not regulated or given to some and denied to others, and for this, there's no supreme power that has these, then, your situation is pathetic.

If they are by your strength, how come you'll submit the breathe to death when the owner of the breathe requires it from you.

You also think that the Almighty God behaves like your tiny god you worship who only considers only his few followers and try to kill who does not follow him. This is why you think that God Almighty should not have allowed some ppl have access to good things from him.

Finally, some Christians struggling to have some good things of this world does not rule out the supremacy of God. He is God of rules and structures.
He does not favour ignorance, laziness and believing in windfall.

There are laid down rules. If you invest well, you'll reap well. If you do not follow some rules, you'll suffer the consequences. Do you expect God to just give you everything you need just by bn a Christian?
This is funny and irrational if you think this way.

My dear, I don't do evil cos I see others doing it and get away wt it.
That the Boko Haram terrorists are let go free when captured should not be the basis I will ask for the freeing of a killer and an evil doer found in my own community.
This is not tribal war that we are fighting. It is security war.
Defending or sympathizing wt a criminal cos he is from my community or state is disservice to humanity.

True info.

He wasn't comfortable in the car of one of the traditional rulers and informed the bishop so, the bishop said he can join his car if he felt unsafe in the other. He sat in between the LGA chairman and a priest. Along the way in Gboko, the army ambushed them and went straight to the bishop's car where Gana was and hi-jack him. The LGA Chairman sensed foul play and when he tried to resist what they were about to do, they beat him to pulp, thereby inflicting injuries on him and delayed them while another team drove away with him only to go and murder him about some meters away. Most of his boys turned back when the army snatched him from the convoy, they sensed betrayal.
There have been unrest in Katsina-Ala LGA since the day he was killed. Endless Shootings.
BTW, there are men stronger than Gana and they are unhappy now. You know what it means.
So are u saying that they should have accept him back into the society and let him live on?

Take Time To Read This From Dele Momodu

They are running their churches 100% better than the way the president is running the country.

The fact is many Nigerians are loosing it. They can’t think beyond going after pastors.

In what way has pastors prevented Nigeria from owning an airline.

In what way do pastors prevent Nigeria from having industries

Less than 0.0001% of pastors own Jets in Nigeria. —-but no, let us forget the over 70% that earn less than 50k/month and focus on the 0.0001% than own jets.

If you run your governments the way church leaders are running churches. Nigeria might be a Qatar right now. In all these argument Canaanland has had stable electricity and water supply for its over 15,000 residents since 1999 and is already on the verge of converting waste to electricity. RCCG is producing 25MW of electricity. Yet your … govt you pay compulsory tax, vat, CIT, Pet Tax has not been able to give you light decades after independence.

Living Faith has more than 25,000 Staff and has never owed any of them salary! Yet your state govt that collects Allocation plus Tax cannot pay full salary.

Living Faith, a single Church, is schooling 16 thousand of your Citizens in Higher institutions and many more at primary and Secondary levels yet you think you have the capacity to waggle your tongue

I went for Shiloh all through and stayed in the staff quarters, yet it was electricity all through; for one second, water did not go off in spite of thousands that were present. On a normal day you won’t walk 20 metres before you find a segregated bin to dispose your waste.

The entire area was fully covered by different layers of Security with multiple CCTV and IoT enabled barrier gates. And yet your Abuja, capital of the Nation does not have CCTV yet you open your …. mouth to talk down on pastors!

Between the guy that calls himself Area father and Bishop David Oyedepo Ministries International who resigned a federal job and started a Church of 3 people and has widened it to over 6,000 churches globally, over 200 schools, 2 hospitals, Over 1000 hectares farm for livestock and crop, Another farm in Igbesa and CU. With 15,000 housing Estate in progress, Water factories, Zeolite factory, One Research center, a scholarship fund, Beverage factories, 10 million books, Publishing house, Radio Station etc who has had more impact or who will have better capacity to govern the nation…huh??

Canaanland hosts hundreds of thousands of people every week yet no stampede ever. Government gathered people at stadium for recruitment exercise and before it even began, many were dead!

Living Faith already has a master plan till 2032 yet govt does not have a plan for 2020!

You know Illogicality is the trademark of most Africans. They fail to think beyond their prejudices and sentiments hence Africa has remained on the ground.

Can we imagine how developed the nation would have been if we have people with the right mindset at the helm of the nation’s affairs? God bless all our pastors.

If every community's traditions and cultures are to pass through the eyes of the law and constitution, almost every tradition/customs will be abolished.

It will be wickedness for Kingship to be inherited
It will be so bad ban women in participating in some certain culture as they have the right to join whatever they want
It will be bad to tell a woman to to see some certain masquerade or not to wear the masquerade regalia.
It will be wrong to tell people not to eat new yam until the elders perform the rituals associated to it.

So many things will be wrong in the eyes of the law.

It is those prohibitions that make culture and traditions what they are.

A policeman, who spoke to our correspondent on condition of anonymity, said, “When my team arrived, the IPOB members had taken over the street and making bonfires to prevent security men from coming into the venue of their prayer.”
That was a report from a Policeman.

To analyze it further;
*It means that the IPOB gathered to conduct their usual prayer session
*They got intel that securitymen are planning to attack them
*They made bornfire around that area to prevent that
*DSS still went their to arrest those conducting prayers
*There was a kind of tussle between DSS and IPOB members
*DSS started shooting those conducting prayers
*They killed one innocent man on the shooting spree
*The IPOB members got angry over that
*They came down on the arm carrying DSS men
*IPOB killed DSS officer and overpowered them bare handedly
*DSS ran away, called their senior brothers, Police and the Army
*The 3 forces came down to finish the unarmed IPOB members
*It was a very big fight that left all the parties with casualties.

I have bn thinking, if unarmed and unprepared IPOB can out of emergency contend the DSS, Police and the Army in this manner, what will happen when they get prepared and march towards these forces in a war?
