Sakamaje:Yes...the Yoruba history did not mention the Igbo race as one of the ppl they did business together. Do you know why? The Yorubas did their business with the race, tribe and countries they were in the same class with then. The Igbo race was far above them and the Yorubas could not transact with them due to the fact they cannot afford the kind of goods and services the Igbo merchants rendered then. I hope you are cleared. |
Chaiii...Imo, wen are they going to get it right. How many youths are among those listed...none How many are women......Kema Chikwe This government has no place for the youths Women are not welcomed. Even where they are allowed to come in, the are not worthy to head any committee. Ndi Imo Ngwanu, O seetiikwala ozo |
That girl looks like Rotimi Amaechi. Are they related? |
HomeOfMe:Those were marks slave master make on their slaves to identify them. Some were made by parents during those slave trade periods so that if their kids are taken, they could easily be traced back to their parents. |
I don't want to totally agree with what the Officer said, but I will not rule out totally that there may be facts in what he said. U will hardly see a gentleman/lady or a very decent person wearing tattoo or dreadlock. Any person weda u are a celeb or not bn attracted to draw tattoos on his or her body or tend to wear dreadlock must have affinity to be "bad" no matter how that person tries to hide it. The worst is those guys that are not even anything yet. Even if they are not bad, they want ppl to be scared of them by display their scary looking tattoo and dread. Even ur dressings when u have tattoo will also make ppl see u as not bn responsible. You will see those with tattoo dressing scantly just to reveal the tattoos. U even dress that way even to a place u are supposed to dress properly. You see most guys wearing only sleeveless singlet roaming around from morning till night just because they want ppl to see their tattoo. Take a look at those pictures of Birdman. If u have a reputable corporate organization, can u employ a candidate like him to work for you? Ok...let's assume it is a must to take him, can u take him to be ur Accountant/ Cashier? I don't think, u will rather take him as ur company security where bad guys will see him as a hardman and stair clear of the company

gurnam:READ THIS MEMO TO MRS ABIKE DABIRI-EREWA. Dear Mrs Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Mine is not a very long letter. Just to commend you for the "passion" that you bring to your work. I believe like, you that when we name and shame the bad eggs tarnishing the image of our dear Nigeria, abroad, it will deter others from a life of crime, ABROAD. It is in this light that I appreciate your publishing the names of the 5 robbers in UAE. You gave their names as Chimmuanya Emmanuel Ozo, Benjamin Nwachukwu Ajah, Kingsley Ikenna Ngoka, Tochukwu Leonard Alusi and Chile Micah Ndumodu (Ndunagu?) Like you rightly pointed out "these five boys are a disgrace to this country and an embarrassment ". Unfortunately Mrs Dabiri, you simply referred to the woman executed for drugs as "A Nigerian woman ". I believe you were in a hurry to address this very pressing National issue, that you coulndt wait to get her name. You also in the same vein failed to inform Nigerians of the names of the other Nigerians already executed for drugs and does on death row for the same crime- drugs. While you and your team are busing unravelling the name of the "Nigerian woman executed for drugs", permit me to give the names of those already executed and those on death row. Am sure you will agree with me that all hands must be on deck to save the image of our nation. THOSE EXECUTED FOR DRUGS IN SAUDI ARABIA 1. Yusuf Yekini Ajiboye 2. Adebayo Adeniyi 3. PatrioticNaija:Irrational comment and one born out of hatred. Was is Wike started the crude oil refinery in Rivers State? Did he has the authority to stop the gas flaring activities in Rivers State? It is wise to keep quiet sometimes especially wen u don't have reasonable thing to say. |
Brandonx:My brother, the country hard. You will not understand cos u are not in their shoes. Do u think they have comfortable place and decide to be at that uncomfortable place? Do u know that for them to get another place, the owner of the portion of land they will want to stay may charge them between N3000 to N5000/month. That is just an empty space ooo not even with shop. The person u are charging such amount of money is selling something that is not up to N10,000 Our government is so selfish. Election has come and gone, they can behave anyhow. Before election period, they were even visiting these women at those places, patronizing their services. They went there to campaign. They want to buy/win their souls in order to vote for them. Election is over, they can pour away their food and whatever they are selling there, term them to be obstructing traffic and development. My brother, u will not understand those struggling mothers until u are forced to wear their shoes. A close friend that works with Ministry of environment told me prior to the election, that the governor told them to put a hold on the revenue drive so as not to make ppl feel bad about his administration which may jeopardize his 2nd term ambition. That the drive will commence with full force shortly after swearing in. Do u see the kind of government we have? |
Too much social media thing is una problem. U want to trend but u dont have the heart and strength to take the criticism that comes from it. U will upload 1000 pictures in a day and u want everyone to tell u look great as if u format our brains to work in line with what u want. |
Brandonx:You are inhuman to think that way. Do u think it is easy for one to leave the place he/she has bn doing biz for yrs like dat without an alternative. Let's assume that the office u are working now is built on a land not approved by government. May be town planning authority has issued warning to demolish the building. I beliv u will just readily leave that office since an order has bn issued. My dear, the country is hard and everyone is struggling to survive. Government should have human face. Don't chase ppl away from their biz site without at least giving them alternative. It is a taboo to pour away someone's food. |
anochuko01:Solution: Concentrate on ur studies. Better ur life and you will be surprised the way they will start rushing. |
Hello Nairalanders, Let's do this together. Post an issue u are currently having in ur relationship (married or dating) and someone will offer a solution to it. Let us hands of love and help to one another. |
Cocoyamdcomedia:So, how much do u want to have before getting married? Bros, if u knw what good ur parents are doing for u now, u will embrace their advice. All u need do is to look out for a good and cool headed girl to marry. If u succeed in this, whaoo, u will see ur live get more organized and u will become more responsible. Marry early, have kids early, train them when u are still strong, retire early, enjoy life, live longer and stress free old age. |
b0rn2fuck:Lol |
So, what actually was the Topic for that Sunday Service? Probably, The wickedness of INEC to Rochas The text would have bn taken from the book of Kings Making references on how King Nebuchadnezzar arrogated the place of God to himself just like INEC is doing in the case of Rochas and finally, God showed him that He(God) is truly the only God. He promised Rochas that God will cast down INEC just the same way He humbled Nebuchadnezzar. |
b0rn2fuck:I can't really tell ooo. I grew up and started seeing this woman as an Aunty. Now, I a married, have children that are grown and ready to be something better in the society and this "would've been grand mother" is still here messing up and still wishing for a-kind-of-man-I-want. Madam, u don exceed menopause. At ur age, sex should be a thing of the past. |
Femich18:Nooo...my brother, u don't need to blame them. They are into business. If they can raise the price to about N500/ltr and the government allows dat, it's still business. All they want is profit maximization. Exploitation can only occur where there is no regulation or where there is failure to enforce the regulation. I put the whole blame on the government that fails to regulate or enforce compliance to the private depot owners. |
These boys grew up in Ajengule. They have come home with those dirty lifestyle they learned there. Bad contamination. |
rotile247:So our government just want to keep impoverishing us in order to make us ready tools in their hands to achieve whatever they want to achieve. Wicked government. |
Femich18:U are wrong my brother. Everyone in business will always want to maximize and even exploit buyers. That is why why have regulatory bodies and laws. Any government that cannot stand firm to make laws that will protect both the manufacturers and the buyers is a waste of government. Also, any government that cannot enforce her laws to protect her citizens is an insensitive one and does not worth be in power. The depot owners are not bn checked to maintain the standard and approved official price. So what do u expect from IPMAN? They will need to increase their price to make reasonable gain and no one will ask them why. At the end, the already suffering masses will have to bear the consequences of the government neglect. |
Olukologia24592:I think you are the one that need to make use of ur brain. U are not trying to make any point and u did not make any reasonable point. May be u don't understand the meaning of u u typed up there. That's why u should start using ur brain. Ur comment shows that the lecturer is not a firm man. His students will be too close to him and thereby always take all his lectures as joke thereby making them dumb. This is a very poor and dumb analysis. So guy, use ur brain. |
@Mynd44 You closed this thread https://www.nairaland.com/5111467/fg-feeds-pupils-594-cattle#77185228quoting this https://www.nairaland.com/5111374/nigeria-spends-500-million-annuallyI am yet to see how the two posts relate that warrants the closure. @Mynd44, I just noticed u edited ur earlier post/quoted link concerning the above which made u close the thread. I think it would have bn more honourable to admit u made a mistake in that ur earlier quote instead of stealthily editing ur post thereby making anyone referring to the post sees it as if I am the one wrong in my reference. There is no harm in admitting one's mistake. |
My guy, u are bn childish biko. All you want is her advertising u on Social media. If you want to be a celebrity, I think you know what to do. Why not hire some magazines to be showing ur face daily in their publications. You want to turn ur wife to all those online slay queens. When she starts, pls don't come complaining to us here. When u guys were dating, u noticed she was extremely introvert and she does not demand for anything. U love it that way cos u think u are the one gaining. I don't see any reason you should start reading the Book of Lamentation now. |
Opinedecandid:What about our VP, Prof Osibanjo? |
Olukologia24592:Managing human beings is the most difficult task to embark on. If the man is very strict you will complain that passing his course will be difficult cos students will always be afraid of him. Oga, what do u want? |
CAN abeg sit for one corner. Our VP is a not just a Christian but a Pastor. What change has that brought to us Christians? |
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Monday said the federal government feeds public school pupils with 594 cattle, 138,000 chickens, 6.8million eggs and 83 metric tons of fish on a weekly basis. Professor Osinbajo disclosed this while delivering a lecture titled ‘Nigeria Rising: The Path to Prosperity’ at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) 50th convocation. He said that at a cost of $0.19 per child per day, the FG is able to provide a balanced meal for every one of the 9,300,892 pupils in 49,837 public primary schools in 26 states across Nigeria. The programme, according to him, employs 95,422 cooks and over 100,000 small holder farmers linked to the programme supplying locally sourced ingredients. “As you can imagine, the quantity of starch and vegetables required for this programme on a weekly basis is equally impressive. Dietary energy and nutrients with established links to cognition-carbohydrates, protein, fat, iron and iodine as well as minerals with public health importance – are targeted by the National Home Grown School Feeding Programme (NHGSF). “The programme aims to provide 50% of the recommended nutrient intake targets for protein and prioritized micro-nutrients including iron, iodine, zinc, vitamin A, folate and vitamin C and 30% of energy because of the high burden of under-nutrition and micro-nutrient deficiencies in Nigeria. "There is also a de-worming programme attached to the school feeding programme,” he explained. He further noted that by the end of the year, the number of new states joining the school feeding programme will increase as the NHGSFP is set to become the largest school feeding programme in Africa. The FG, according to Osinbajo, took the decision to embark on a School Feeding Programme as an important part of its human capital development agenda, by tackling the broader issues of eradication of poverty, food and nutrition security as well as increasing school enrolment. He therefore stressed that prosperity will be attained if Nigeria is able to address the issues of extreme poverty, productivity, corruption, the rule of law and the deficiencies in the quality of human resources caused by poor education and healthcare. https://www.dailytrust.com.ng/fg-feeds-pupils-with-594-cattle-138000-chickens-6-8m-eggs-weekly-osinbajo.html

As time goes on they will come to see it as not bn an abomination as they earlier thought. Initially, they believed that owing television is sinful. All their new converts gathered their televisions and were burnt Today half of their ministries are done through satellite which their members watch through television. They said that owing expensive furniture is a sin. Today, they live is expansive houses with expensive pieces of furniture. Some years ago, it was sinful and an abomination for a woman to sit on a motorcycle spreading her two legs behind the man carrying her. She has to sit sideways with legs closed together. Only wild and indecent girls will sit with legs spread apart. Today, it is acceptable for every woman to sit with legs spread wide behind the bike rider. It's no longer a sin. It used to be sinful for a woman to have an attachment on their hair. Today most of the crusaders have very long and expensive attachments on. What about jewelries. When was the sin inherent in them abolished. It's no longer sinful for women to wear necklace or earings. Some preachers used to tell us then that beating drums and dancing in the church, is worldly. I see most of them buying bands and dancing more. Has the sin in bands bn washed away. |
