Get married you refuse.... wondering how old man like u go dey watch #bbnaija show wey don cast.
Someone was even asking me about Mavins yesterday sef..... I simply told him that for now Don Jazzy is busy with watching BamBam, Teddy and the likes of #Bbnaija. Guess he derives pleasure in that even more than music he does
Guy, u have gat no point here. I don't see anything wrong for him to watch the progarmme. He is in Entertainment Industry. So nothing wrong in watching a programme that is related to his line of business.

Getting married or not is his personal decision. So free the guy. There are so many guys of ur age that have gotten married with kids. So don't think you are too young to get married.

Politics › Re: Isaac Newton-Farris Advises Nigerians On Buhari by Psoul(m): 10:33am On Mar 29, 2018
Gangster1ms:
Mr. Isaac Newton-Farris, a nephew of American civil right activist, Martin Luther King Junior has appealed to Nigerians to give President Muhammadu Buhari time to implement his reforms and move the country forward. Newton – Farris spoke during a luncheon organized to celebrate the Black History Month for the first time in Nigeria.

Mr. Newton-Farris said, “My advice to Nigeria is this, I know that a lot of Nigerians feel a little displeasure with President Buhari moving too slow on some of his reforms. “I will counsel Nigerians to say give this man the time he needs to do the job that he is doing. He is one of the most legitimate leaders that the continent has produced. And he would if you all just stick to him I assure you he is going to make Nigeria a better place.”

He said, “I know for instance what your citizens will say to me, he will identify the corruption but won’t do anything, he says until an investigation is done. But that is the proper way to do that. You know fortunately he is an honest man, but if he would just decide in his mind what is corrupt and not corrupt and just taking action without a process what will happen with the next guy that comes who might not be as honest as he is.

Oga Mr. Newton or Lipton pls pocket this ur advice. Stop reasoning like a crude black that u are.
Well, to correct u. We Nigerians are not just feeling a little displeased with Buhari as u said. We are disastrously displeased with him.

You also said he is "slow in some of his reforms". Oga biko he is not slow in some of them, he is slow in all of them even if not snail slow.

Come ooo...did I hear u say we should "give this man the [b]time he needs to do the job that he is doing"? This is some lame. So we should just sit, fold arms, cross legd and wait for him even wen it seems indefinite? Oga abeg have church mind naa. Let me ask u Oga. So if u have a staff in ur office that is supposed to submit some reports to u and he/she is very slow in coming up wt the result and even wen u need to go for a Management Meeting wt the report and the reports are not forthcoming, you will retain such staff and be very patient waiting till any time he/she is done with it.

No problem, we have heard u.

i decided to ask this question after certain events.

So i decided to call my late dads mobile number (its mtn tho) out if plain curiosity, I was surprised it rang n sumone picked it, i immediately established friendship wit this individual who intimated me on how he bought d number from mtn office. He explained dat immediately he inserted d number, calls started coming n even bank alerts...

Mind u, my late dad used dis number for more dan 10years n barely 2years after his death his number was sold to a new customer.

my questions:
the
1. Is it legal for mtn to do dis? (make i sue na na)

2. is dia a procedure for deactivating sim numbers? (i can imagine if dis sim had fallen into d hands of fraudsters)

my nairaland family pls advice..
You can report to MTN about that you dad's number. They will retrieve from the new customer and a compensation will be paid to the new customer.

We have such a case in our firm where we paid N20,000 to retrieve the line. The new customer was receiving most of the official messages from our office and most of our customers were calling him. To avoid any fraud bn perpetrated through that line, we have to pay for the compensation.

Second case is the one in which my colleague keep receiving text messages, bulk sms and calls from unknown ppl on his line. That must be a number of a dead person.
One day he received this message with the short code on how to buy airtime through his account. To his surprise, he tried the code and N500 airtime was credited to his account. This must have bn debited to the account of the deceased. He has bn worried about this and has refused trying that code again.
If he happens to be fraudulent, he will keep making withdrawals/transfer from the account of the dead person.

So what the Network Providers do is to resell those numbers. The best you can do is visit the account that this number is tied to, ask them to remove the number to avoid making withdrawal from the account.

Intolerance against Muslims is not seen in the SE because Muslims are virtually non-existent in the SE
That is not the reason. We have many Muslims in the SE dominating most villages.
Go to Enugu, Owerri, Abia and Ebonyi States.
The reason there is relative peace between them and the SE especially the Igbos is because the Christians tend to tolerate even to a fault. They easily forgive.

A Muslim will offend a Christian, other Christians will take it as a personal case between the Muslim man and the Christian man. They will try to settle it in that manner. Wen the reverse is the case, all Muslims there will see it as an attack against Islam and they will start their Jihad.

Leah was NOT released, and was NOT killed because of her religion. They could have killed her if that was what they wanted. Christians will take boko-haram's word over what ALL other Muslim groups say just to prove a point that Islam teaches violence. If violence is what Islam really preaches, then the peaceful co-existence enjoyed in the country wouldn't have been. No Muslim country will relate peacefully with other non-Muslim countries.......
My brother forget that "peaceful co-existence". The so called peaceful co-existence is not from the Muslims. It's cos others try to tolerate the Muslims. Most times wen you guys decide to display ur violence dispositions, others restrain themselves from behaving same way.

Tell me what would have happened in the country if the death of the Deeper Life Evangelist murdered gruesomely was retaliated.
What will happen if the Christians retaliate by burning down Mosques when their Churches were burnt down in the north at no serious provocation.
What about the young guy that was killed for ignorantly urinating close to Moslem Worship ground
What of burning of Pampers and its factory in India for alleging that whiskers drawn on Pampers logo looks writing Mohammad in Arabic.

The count is infinite. Now tell me how peaceful the religion is and how peaceful others can co-exist with u guys if not by the super tolerance of other religion.

I hate it wen ppl start condemning men of God at any slightest instance.
This is persecution against Christendom. You don't go out their fighting the government, that will bring more death. And u don't go about blaming the Pastors, it will bring disunity in our prayers.

In the olden days when Christians were persecuted, they did not start blaming the Apostle, the Disciples or other Church leaders, rather they came in together, joined faith together and prayed till God showed Himself mighty.
So my dear spare us the blame unless u are related to Buhari.
Nairaland General › Legalise Indian Hemp Use, UN Urges Nigeria by Psoul(op): 6:29am On Mar 27, 2018
The United Nations has said it has approved the use of Indian hemp for medical purposes, urging Nigeria to relax laws restricting usage to allow its prescription for Nigerians.

The UN also decried criminalisation of hard drugs’ use, noting that those addicted to them are sick and need treatment, care and rehabilitation.

The Project Officer, United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in Nigeria, Harsheth Kaur Virk, stated this in her presentation at a one-day public hearing on the rising abuse of pharmaceutical drugs among youths in Nigeria.

The event was organised by the Senate’s joint Committee on Drugs and Narcotics and Health.

According to Virk, cannabis is a miracle drug allowed for medical purposes by the UN. She, however, stated that it was not for recreational purposes.

She said, “Nigeria, as a sovereign nation, has its stringent laws against it; but international conventions of the UN have approved it for medical purposes, based on the outcome of researches conducted to that effect by globally recognised institutes.”

Virk added that apart from cannabis, users of other addictive drugs for recreational purposes, as approved by the UN, should not be criminalised but rehabilitated.

“The Drugs and Crime Office of the UN sees addictive drug users as people who are sick, in need of treatment, care and rehabilitation,” she stated.

The UN official however pointed out that the global body was against drug trafficking.

She charged Nigeria’s security agencies to be proactive in their anti-drug trafficking campaign and not reactive.

In his presentation, the Director, Technical Services, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Mr. Femi Oloruntoba, however stated that drug traffickers and possessors were the ones being criminalised, and not drug users in Nigeria.
