But understanding that commitment is greater than feelings and it is the great arsenal that destroys those unhelpful impulses.

You can fall in love with anyone, but building a relationship takes absolutely more than what attracted you to them and takes more than love.

We are too fond of loving when it's convenient and sweet. We are too fond of loving when love is there; but that can only last for just the first 3 - 6 months of the relationship in many cases.

After then, you'll realise that the feelings have dropped and it's now your responsibility to make the relationship work, not love's responsibility.

Relationships cannot be readymade. You have to build it and it's never always about love, it requires commitment and intelligence.

On the long run in marriages, it's not just love that keeps them together forever, it's determination and commitment.

Everyone falls in love; it takes little or no effort to do that. But staying in love? Building a relationship? Only the strong and committed ones do that.

That's why we must find that one person and commit to that one, discipline yourself and bridle your emotions.

Building a relationship is hard work, it's like building a career, It's like pursuing a dream.

It's always tough. At some point it will be so bitter but you can make it work by putting your heads together. You can scale through the trying times by staying focused and committed.

The kind of love that attracts two people together is not the kind of love that will keep them together. Be emotionally strong, be self disciplined and above all, have the God factor that will give you the grace needed to reign you in.

shooting a bullet into tank has a high rate of ecplosion, its not just the bullet, but other inflammble materials the leaking fuel comes in contact with, apart from heat and fire, friction is enough to ignite fuel.

For a combustion to occur, ther must be enough oxygen. I the car fuel tank, the amount of oxygen available will hardly trigger combustion/explosion from a normal bullet.

Only an extra ordinary shot from a powerful gun shot from a far distance can cause explosion.
Let me tell you why.
On the course of the long distance, there must have bn friction between the bullet and air particles. This friction will ignite the bullet. So now the bullet is coming with fire. Having contact with the fuel will ignite the tank hence explosion.

Some ppl shot at not to long distance bullet may not even kw they have bn shot until the start seeing blood coming out of their body, but once a bullet from far distance touches ur body even with lesser penetration u will kw immediately cause it will be very hot.

Efforts by the state to arraign kidnap kingpin, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, alias Evans, on a fresh charge of kidnapping was, yesterday, stalled over multiple filing of the seven-count charge of murder, attempted murder, conspiracy to commit kidnapping, attempt to kidnap and sales and transfer of firearms by the state Director of Public Prosecutions, DPP, against him and three others at an Ikeja High Court.

Joseph Emeka, Chiemeka Arinze and Udeme Upong, were to be arraigned alongside Evans for the attempted kidnap of Chief Vincent Obianodo, the Chairman of the Young Shall Grow Motors.

The DPP’s error was pointed out during the proceedings by Mr. Olukoya Ogungbeje, Evans’ defence counsel.

According to Ogungbeje, the DPP had initially filed the seven-count charge on August 25, 2017 and amended it by filing another charge on October 26, 2017, but failed to file the proof of evidence with the October charge.

Evan’s lawyer claimed that there was another seven-count charge dated January 15 before the court.

Ogungbeje also brought to the court’s attention that Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo had, in a ruling on November 10, 2017, noted that the charges in the case were “irregularly filed” by the prosecution.

He said: “We are urging Your Lordship to strike out that application. Your Lordship can do so suo motu (on its own motion).

“There is another amended charge before Your Lordship dated October 25, 2017; they made copies of it and dated it January 15. The DPP should withdraw one of the charges and file fresh charges. If the DPP files without withdrawing, I will file a motion for dismissal of the case.”

DPP’s stand

Mrs Titilayo Shitta-Bey, the Director, disputed Ogungbeje’s claim and said: “There is nothing wrong with the charge before the court. We can proceed with our amended information dated October 26, 2017. The argument of my learned friend has no basis in law.”

Justice Taiwo, in a ruling, agreed with Ogungbeje’s submission, saying “I agree with Mr. Ogungbeje on this. The DPP must file fresh, clean and unadulterated charges.

“This case shall be adjourned to enable the DPP file fresh charges in accordance with Section 155 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Law. The DPP is advised to withdraw all other charges at the next adjourned date.”

The defendants had allegedly committed the offences on August 27, 2013 at Third Avenue, Festac Town, Lagos.

Evans and his accomplices allegedly killed Mr. Chijioke Ngozi and attempted to kill and kidnap Mr. Vincent Obianodo.

It was also alleged that in 2008, Upong sold and transferred two AK-47 rifles and 70 rounds of live ammunition to Evans.

Earlier during proceedings, Mr. O. Ogu, counsel to Emeka and Arinze, two of Evan’s co-defendants in an application dated December 13, 2017, had asked the court to quash the five-count charges pertaining to Emeka, the second defendant.

According to him, the prosecution had put Emeka’s confessional statement in their proof of evidence in a separate criminal case.
