The spectators seats are fixed with air condition cooling facilities. The leg spaces also have air condition holes to keep u comfortably cool throughout the duration of the matches.

Also, they have fixed Air-condition cooling systems on all the major walkways of the cities so that even as you walk on the streets, you are continuously receiving the cooling air.

The country is really utilizing their resources well.

Yeah and the most successful of this pastorpreneurs in Nigeria are:-
E.A. Adeboye
David Oyedepo
Chris oyakhilome

Before you quote me, simply pick up your phone and Google "the richest pastors in the world" you will be surprised to know that 70% of the pastors on that list are nigerian pastors.
While you are using your google,
Also search your Bible for this:
Isaiah 61:5-7
…5 Strangers will stand and feed your flocks, and foreigners will be your plowmen and vinedressers.
6 But you will be called the priests of the LORD; they will speak of you as ministers of our God; you will feed on the wealth of nations, and you will boast in their riches.
7 Instead of shame, My people will have a double portion, and instead of humiliation, they will rejoice in their share; and so they will inherit a double portion in their land, and everlasting joy will be theirs.…

Isaiah 60:4-6

…4Lift up your eyes and look around: They all gather and come to you; your sons will come from afar, and your daughters will be carried on the arm. 5Then you will look and be radiant, and your heart will tremble and swell with joy, because the riches of the sea will be brought to you, and the wealth of the nations will come to you. 6Caravans of camels will cover your land, young camels of Midian and Ephah, and all from Sheba will come, bearing gold and frankincense and proclaiming the praises of the LORD.…

These will tell you why Ministers of God are expected to be very rich.

Thank you.

1. 385,000 babies are born each day

2. This is a time series Analysis. That is, the number of times the egg could break on each floor is dependent on the number of floors and eggs available for practice. It actually tests the human capacity to make decisions based on best and worst case scenario.

Drop Floor
#1 14
#2 27
#3 39
#4 50
#5 60
#6 69
#7 77
#8 84
#9 90
#10 95
#11 99
#12 100

3. Pick any 10 coins and make a small pile. You now have 90 coins in a pile (call it pile A), and 10 coins in a new pile (call it pile B). You don't know where the heads are, but you do know that there are 10 of them in total, and therefore however many heads there are in pile A, there is 10 minus this many in pile B.

Let's do an inventory:
Pile A contains:
- n heads
- 90-n tails

Pile B contains:
- 10-n heads
- the rest tails. How many tails exactly? Well out of 10 coins, 10-n are heads, which means the number of tails is 10-(10-n) = n tails.

Wait...what? pile A has n heads, and pile B has n tails? So we know that there are always the same number of heads in pile A as there are tails in pile B, even if we don't know exactly what number that is? So flip over all the coins in pile B. We now have the same number of heads in both piles.

The solution for the worst case in this scenario occurs when the threshold floor is floor number 14 – because we will drop the first egg on floor 14, and it will break. Then we have to test floors 1-13 with the 2nd egg to see where the egg breaks again, and the egg will not break on any of those floors. But since the egg broke on the floor 14, we can conclude that the threshold floor is floor number 14.

I am sleepy already huh huh huh huh
DO U THINK THESE QUESTIONS NEED ALL THESE MATHEMATICAL ANALYSIS?
I DON'T THINK SO.
CHECK IT AGAIN AND USE SIMPLE LOGIC TO UNRAVEL IT. STUDY THE GRAMMAR TOO.

Easy on this young chap. Will you sir?

Now, you said he shouldn't expect their services to be like that of a standard bank or NNPC, yet you expect him to dress as he would to a job interview in a standard bank or NNPC.

May I also say that there is nothing wrong in him being truthful and open about saying he has no T fare to go pick up that APL. I guess you would have rather pretended all was well. This guy knows what he is passing through. He knows he has no one to help him. He even tried to call people to be of help.

There is no crime going for a job 'looking like a poverty ridden person'. After all, that's exactly why he is looking for a legitimate job.

If the guy at that branch has given him money and he has gotten the APL, I guess you wouldn't be saying this.

Seek help when in need. Pride and pretence often take men nowhere.

Lots of people in this ill governed country are going through though times. It isn't a crime to be poor. It is a crime to not make attempts to leave the life of poverty. Since the OP is doing all he can to get out of his problems, don't apportion blames.
Thank you for ur comment bro.
Let me still say this:

Now, you said he shouldn't expect their services to be like that of a standard bank or NNPC, yet you expect him to dress as he would to a job interview in a standard bank or NNPC.
I am not expecting him to go and wear designers suite, shirt and shoes, but it's out of place to wear flip flop slippers with flying shirt for an interview even if you are going for an interview for a position of gateman.
At least you should leave a little respect for urself. Don't wear ur condition on ur face.

May I also say that there is nothing wrong in him being truthful and open about saying he has no T fare to go pick up that APL. I guess you would have rather pretended all was well. This guy knows what he is passing through. He knows he has no one to help him. He even tried to call people to be of help.
Yes, there is nothing wrong in bn truthful about the T/fare. But the timing made it wrong.
Imagine this discussion:
Interviewer: Mr. A we have gone through your application and other documents and we have decided to give a chance in this bank
Mr. A: Thank you Sir.
Interviewer: You'll have to proceed to our Head Office at XYZ to pick up your appointment letter. Congratulations.
Mr. A: Sir, I don't have transport money to go to that place for that appointment letter.

How will u feel if you are the interviewer? I expected the young guy to accept the offer and if he feels like getting help from the interviewers, he should wait a bit for them to get done wt him and meet the leader of the group.
Alternatively, go home first and try ur luck. What he did showed that he will lack initiative to figure out his ways when he meet difficult situations in the course of doing the job if given opportunity.

There is no crime going for a job 'looking like a poverty ridden person'. After all, that's exactly why he is looking for a legitimate job.
Seek help when in need. Pride and pretence often take men nowhere.
Don't wear ur problems on ur face. He can even tell his interviewers when asked, "can we know you" how he has suffered and how poverty has bn trying to beat him but he is not someone that gives in easily. Tel them many ways he had applied just to remain afloat and that he is not going to be deterred by any form of hardship from trying. Also tell them how he had to wake up very early cos he knew he had no money for transportation to attend this job interview and cos of his determinations, he had to trek about Bleep kilometers to be here. From here, they will understand why he was not able to dress well and him financial incapability. He had told them he is poor here and that was done in a lovely style. Don't take in bn poor.

Jobs/Vacancies › Can You Answer These Tricky Job Interview Questions From Apple Inc? by Psoul(op): 10:40am On Apr 14, 2021
I saw this Interview Questions on Glassdoor and I just felt it might be very useful to some of us given that most companies especially in Nigeria like copying these big tech guys. We all know that Apple is one of the biggest Tech companies in the World and to get a job there wouldn’t be so easy.

Glassdoor decided to make this easy by providing some questions Apple Inc uses to select their employees – I would be revealing 3 questions here that I feel are more brain tasking and require more brain knowledge. Is your brain equipped to answer these Apple’s Job Interview Questions? If Yes? Let’s do this smiley

1. How many children are born every day?

2. If you have 2 eggs, and you want to figure out what’s the highest floor from which you can drop the egg without breaking it, how would you do it? What’s the optimal solution?

3.You have 100 coins laying flat on a table, each with a head side and a tail side. 10 of them are heads up, 90 are tails up. You can’t feel, see or in any other way find out which side is up. Split the coins into two piles such that there are the same number of heads in each pile.”

4. There are three boxes, one contains only apples, one contains only oranges, and one contains both apples and oranges. The boxes have been incorrectly labeled such that no label identifies the actual contents of the box it labels. Opening just one box, and without looking in the box, you take out one piece of fruit. By looking at the fruit, how can you immediately label all of the boxes correctly?

So who can answer any?

He also admitted that knew that wen he arrest ppl, that the person will be subjected to unnecessary torture.
He knew all these and did nothing to change the system or speak up for the evil.

If he said that he resigned from the job cos he was not satisfied wt the way they hand pple's case, he would've bn exonerated.

Sikay19:
Hello members,
This is a long post and may include some errors. kindly ignore the blunders therein.

So, here it goes.

I was informed of a job offer at one of these LAPO MFB. As requested I went there to submit my application letter along with the credentials.

Getting there, I met with the branch manager. We exchanged greetings, he asked me to sit and thereafter we discussed about the job offer that the pay is #25000 and it is a three months program.

The necessity of hiring extra hands was because they have a target to meet within that stipulated time. During our interaction he went through my letter and eventually told me it wasn't within his capacity to employ that he would have to call me later today or certainly tomorrow after he must have met with the higher authority. that's how we rounded up our discussion and I left his office.

Few hours later, I received his call that I should come right away of which I was busy far away from the place coupled with that I had no transport fare to meet up.

Consequent to that, He asked me to come the following day by 8am. Noting this I went there though before going I had no office shoe as I long forgone anything like corporate work even though I was a teacher wayback.

As to this effect, I didn't want that to be an excuse for me not to go there so I dressed neatly though not tucked in because it wouldn't be proper to tuck in with slide footwear also I trekked to the place even though it's far but that's not a problem anyway.

When I got there at that time I had to wait because they were having morning meeting. After some minutes, He called me in, he asked me some questions about my name, address and others. He proceeded to tell me what he had said the day before. Thereafter, He said I would have to go their state office at Oshogbo to collect a letter indicating my employment . more like a traveling to the place costing me #1500. ordinarily that shouldn't be a problem but I didn't have that money to make the travel that's what I said.

He said the company would settle me on my return. As I was about to seek permission to go outside to make calls. One of them started talking scolding me that I shouldn't have said that I do not have money and my mode of dressing blah blah. I eventually went out to make the calls but I couldn't get any help because it was too sudden.

I went in to tell them, he returned my credentials. that was how I left.

Insults and blames are welcome but be objective please. thank you.
Let me start by giving you this analogy.
When I go to standard Cafe to eat. I expect thing to be of good quality and standard. The service and even the people serving the food.
In a local buka, I don't get angry wen the service is poor. And I see people shouting about the service as if they are making noise.

Now, if you have gone to this place for employment and they told u what they want to pay you and all that. You accepted. I expect you to be patient and display employable characters.

You shouldn't expect there services to be like that of Standard commercial bank or NNPC.
How dare you tell your prospective employer (during interview) that you don't have money to go pick up ur employment letter.
That is rude and unethical.
I expect you to accept that and say thank you to them.
If it is necessary, wait for the man to come out, give him brief story of hw things are hard for u.
Tell him to give u 2 days to rally round get transport money to go pick up the letter and start work.
He may be sympathetic and even offer to give u the money or get the letter down to his office for u.

Secondly, your dressing was so bad. You don't dress that way for an interview.
Dress the way you will like to be addressed.
Who knows, if u had dressed better, they may not have asked you to go to their state office to pick up ur letter.
They may not have easily hand over ur credentials back to you.
They would've seen u as a great asset to be.
You dressed in a way that made them look at u as a no body.
Hw can you go to seek for job looking like a poverty ridden person.
Are you seeking for job or sympathy?
If they give you the job and tomorrow you start wearing good cloth and u want to talk,
they will say...look at this one that couldn't even afford a simply wear for an interview not to talk of transport money to pick up his appointment letter has even started making noise in this office.
Oga, no matter how poor you are, you can still reserve some respect for urself.

The attitudes u displayed made u un-employable.
Forget about hw much u think they want to pay.
You should make amends in case of another opportunity.

Hello my beloved nairalanders i was in my work place around 5:14pm today when i decide to check nairaland for news update when i saw a new list of escapees of owerri custodial center, Imo State.

https://www.nairaland.com/6504699/owerri-jailbreak-names-photos-escaped

I decide to open the link only to see my dad photo among the escapees of owerri custodial center owerri, imo state.

My dad was wrongly accused and he was charge for murder while he works for the former imo state government security network (Ohakim and Rochas) until 2014 when he was accuse of murder while on duty that day, first he was detain for 7 months in zone 9 umuahia until we file for illegal detention at the high court before the officer in-charge had to transfer the case to court and he was remained at owerri prison in 2015 and he has being on awaiting trial till date and we have being going to court since then.

i made a thread seeking for justice then:

https://www.nairaland.com/2998894/social-media-hash-tag-dad
please check the date to confirm that what am saying is true.

on Easter Monday we got a news that there was a prison break in owerri and for 24hours we couldnt locate him until he called and tell us his where about. we reach out to his location in owerri and he explain to us how it happens and how everyone was force to run for their life. After the meeting we advise him to go back since his final judgement will be on 20th on this month April, and with the look of things and the witnesses we have we believe he will be free by God grace.

He told us he is already planning to go back because a man of 60+ don't need to be running up and down when he knows he is innocent and the court will believe he is guilty if he fails to show up at the court. we gave him some money and new cloths and he went back the next day being thurday 8th April.

He spoke with us after getting back to the prison and told us how the controller general met him and asked why he choose to return and he told him that his family said he should go back since the final judgement is on 20th of April and besides he is getting old and at his age he cant be running for the law when he knows he is innocent. According to him, the controller general took his photograph and details and promise to look into their matters.

only for me to see his photo again for escapees and this is really bad and heart broken that a country like this will be ill inform and out dated about the details of the prisoner in there custody.

Please nairalanders i don't know anyone to meet or call but i believe i can use this medium to pass my message across to the Nigeria police and also the owerri custodial center, Imo State to plwase remove my fathers photograph among the escapees of owerri custodial centre, Imo State .

My dad Ekenma Richard- former Head of Ngor Okpala Imo state security network with 2 other local government he controls is not a fugitive and i will like the Nigeria Police and also the owerri custodial center, Imo State to please remove his name so as not to mislead the public or make my mother who has being sad for 7 years to start thinking again

Please mod help thanks

“You would be wondering who's the lady lying on the floor sleeping... That's the woman I wanna spent the rest of my life with, her name is onyinyechi, and you would be wondering why she's sleeping on the floor... That's my life at this moment, and I wanna tell you a story

My life took a turn after I moved from my former place to my current place with my daughter ( am a single dad ) business wasn't moving as usual and things was getting tough for me in terms of taking care of responsibility, which made me move my daughter to my mom

.... While still slowly taking care of her but from afar so I could put my life together alone, and that's when things got tougher for me, couldn't provide for my mom to support her effort to my daughter and my other siblings... Then I went into selling off my properties

I sold off virtually all that I have in the house without minding how my life is gonna be like, without looking at how my girlfriend, the girl I have looked towards settling down with; would feel about how worst things has gotten for me but she keeps surprising me by the day

I have watched to see if she would wanna end the Relationship with me and move on with another man who has all she wants but she choose to stick by me, pray for me, encourage me, and constantly show care and concern about me... Which has moved me to tears so many times

What moved me about her this evening was her decision to spend the night in my place, she called me at 6pm and told me she would be sleeping out at my place after work as she would be closing late and wouldn't be able to go to her mom's place, I wasn't expecting that at all

So I asked her if she's gonna be okay sleeping in my place as I don't have a bed anymore and I don't see it comfortable for her enough as it's a floor with bedsheets, which I myself don't find okay sleeping on but I got no choice... She laughed a little and said to me ..

"tochi, I will sleep where you sleep, eat were you eat and live with you where you live" hmmm this moved me to tears but I held myself and I thanked her and she ended the call, by 9pm she knocked and asked me to get her some of my clothes: she would wanna bath

I just looked at her, pulled off her wig, changed into my boxers and singlet after bathing while we gist a little then she slept off as she was so tired from work, I have being looking at her for the past 30 mins and I kept asking myself

I don't know what to do for her but I know God knows and seeth our hearts and minds.. she deserves the best of a wedding and marriage and I believe God will help me achieve that.. even as am scared to push further due to my present condition, this lady deserves all the best

She's a dream come true... I know she will not get to see all this as she's not on twitter but I want her to know that I would move the earth and heavens to give her a better life as a man and a husband to her, that's my solemn promise ... God bless you, onyinyechi..”

Ok, the reason why you should still wear mask and use sanitizer is because we have not achieved herd immunity.
One who’s vaccinated against the virus Is still a carrier but cannot be infected or fall sick from the virus. The purpose of wearing mask and using sanitizer is not to protect yourself from the virus but rather protect others from it. It’s logical to still apply these measures because a lot of people are yet to be vaccinated.
Great.....

Because I’m a human being. If someone raped or murdered a child, brutally tortured or murdered someone then I could sort of understand a desire for that person to have a painful, tortured death.

But regular acts of violence, one where no one was physically harmed, to me that is brutal and falls under cruel and unusual punishment.
Based on this particular case, I don't pity the guy for what they did to him.
He deserves it.
Someone that just came escaped from prisons for robbery and kidnap case, the first thing he did was to go to a family he had an issue wt before going to the prisons to threaten them and even had the mind to go there wt gone. If they had allowed him, he would've killed someone and run away. Such pple are not supposed to live.

I’d even understand killing someone with a gun in self-defense... but burning someone alive is a form of torture that I can’t imagine one suffering for an attempted act of violence...
You may be right.
But anyone who kidnaps fellow human being and collect ransom on that person's head,
Rob and use gun to threaten and even kill another fellow deserves every form of violence people can met on him.
No time for mercy or pity.
How can u pity someone that does not believe in the sanctity of life?

Wow, the ease with which people can just burn someone alive. Horrifying
The ease at which someone will threaten people, go back, pick up a gun and really set out to kill wit that gun.
Drastic situation requires drastic action.
Don't you think so?

Hi all, it isn't news women celebrate relationships and marriage more, tends to flaunt it, and for them it is obviously a very huge milestone for them; they see it as a very big achievement.
The reverse is the case for the male folks as most are mostly indifferent and many will prefer to hide it; my question is, why do female value and put so much emphasis on relationship/marriage?

Is it because they have more to gain? Or looking for people to fleece?

Your response/opinion is welcomed.
OP, let me educate u a bit on what you need to understand about what men or women see as achievement.

For a man, he will celebrate wealth especially financial wealth more than any other thing.
Once a man hits that jackpot. Voooom, his heart rejoices and he feels that he has landed and he has achieved the highest target in his life and that every other target will fall into place easily.
Men do not celebrate relationship cos it is not their highest life target. They only celebrate breaking money channels.

In the other hands, women do not celebrate wealth. No matter how rich a woman is, she may not even be so happy to celebrate it cos she has not achieved her life highest target.
Once a woman gets married, she become relaxed knowing that she has reached her life highest target. Then you see her celebrating it. She will like every one to know she has a man in her life. She will start talking more about "my husband" just the same way a man will be talking more of "my money."

So women are not celebrating relationships cos they are going to be favoured more than the man. In marriage, I don't think that there is a party that should claim more important than the other. A woman has her own level of merits as well as the man.
You as a man struggled to meet ur target (money) and the woman in the other hand also struggle to meet her own target (husband).
I don't see any party doing more than the other.

Onye iberibe.

So Ngige is the yardstick to determine if it is right for those thieves to be going for overseas treatments instead of fixing our own health centers?
The same mumu Ngige that said that any doctor that feels dissatisfied wt the country can go to overseas that we have more than enough doctors here to start begging any doctor.

Now you are defending the overseas medical trip wt what that same Ngige said.
