I graduated at age 20yrs, did my NYSC &got a job where I was paid N250k monthly. Being the last child of my parents, my elder ones are doing very fine for themselves (&family), so literally, I had no financial obligation outside my parents welfare. At work place, Real Agents once walked in to enlighten us on an existing offer that made so much sense & how one could make installment payment over time. I bought the idea, keyed into it &within 2yrs, was able to finish payment & with the help of God, was able to also construct 8Units of 2bedroom flats (all occupied by tenants) on the piece of land I acquired. Currently, I'm 28yrs old &about to get married, TM had been fixed for 28th Dec. Myself & Fiancé had a date two Sundays ago where we opened up to ourselves, making bare every secrets that had stayed hidden all the while. That was when I told him I had some properties &how I acquired them. You could tell from his expression that he was shocked & surprised. Told me he had no such but was working towards acquiring such also in the nearest future. He has a car, lives in a rented 3bedroom apartment with a good job &seems comfortable.

Why am I writing all these?
My man called last night (as usual), before he ended the call, he said after marriage, he would want me to transfer the Deed of my property to his name &also the account to which my tenants have been paying their rent to should now be moved to an account in his name as well, stating that's how a woman ought to be under a man. I found it totally strange (&very weird) but at the same time, didn't want to go into an argument with him or sound feminist.

We have only done introduction. House, please how can I tell him its not going to be possible if I am going to go ahead with the marriage?
