Boy, abeg shut up and go sit in a corner. I was replying BABE, not you. Instead of constantly screaming, please change your font and use coherent statements to pass your points across. And please, try to reduce your use of smileys: they get in the way of smoothly assimilating the points you are trying to convey. All you have been doing on this thread is bitch, scream, and use one liners. Take a page out of BABE's book and use your head to write though provoking statements, not to parade childish behaviors.

I thought you said you studied science?  So in your diligent, painstaking study of science, you learnt that Evolution attempted to explain Big Bäng, but failed?  Dude, the Theory of Evolution is a whole lot different from the Big Bäng Theory.  Makes me wanna question which school you "studied" this mysterious science of yours. huh

At this point, I think it's pretty obvious that you have no idea what atheism means.  A quick one for you: a-theism = without theism.  No more, no less.  Figure out the rest yourself.  I'm not about to go down the route of definitions, etymologies and endless games of semantics with you, sorry.

Oh i'm sorry! My bad! Can you answer the Question now? huh huh huh huh
Evil Brain has already done a very good job at addressing your question, even though you and I know that you're not in any way interested in actually gaining any knowledge here (meaning I won't waste my time with you).  And what he explained in a nutshell to you is far more plausible than your typical goddidit balderdash.   And what exactly do you mean when you say you want "atheistic answers"? huh  I hope you realise that there are millions of atheists who are NOT scientists, and so may not be able to answer your question (which requires a great deal of scientific knowledge).  On the other hand, there are millions of scientists (evolutionists inclusive) that are deeply religious people.

Just incase you have a change of heart though, as Evil Brain suggested earlier, you should read up on Abiogenesis if you're really serious about your quest.

For the umpteenth time, stop typing in all ALL CAPS and stop enlarging your fonts grossly.  It's inappropriate on an Internet forum (makes reading difficult).  It's bad enough that you're using a weird font face.  Plus, ALL CAPS = shouting/yelling!

@sexkillz:

If you're wondering why most of the people here are not taking you so seriously, you only have to go back to the previous page and see how your argument has progressed so far.  Here's an example (your argument with thehomer):

sexkillz:

GOD HAS A PERSONAL NAME!
YES I CAN ENLIGHTEN YOU!
Really?  Okay, shoot!

sexkillz:
YOU have a BIBLE! I'll SHOW YOU from your BIBLE!

We're waiting. . .

sexkillz:

*His NAME is NOT HIDDEN!

Okay, please type his name already! cheesy

sexkillz:
I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TRYING TO DO! ME THINKS YOU WANNA USE THE NAME OF GOD THAT YOU KNOW ALREADY TO DIVERT THIS TOPIC! NOW WE WOULD START DEBATING ON GOD'S NAME ABI? HELLLL NO BRO! STICK TO TOPIC!

huh? what are you on about mate? huh

sexkillz:
HAVE YOU OR HAVE YOU NOT HEARD GOD'S NAME BEFORE? DONT LIE!
After promising to enlighten us, you suddenly change your goalpost.  You're kidding, right?

sexkillz:
WHICH NAME IS MORE PROMINENT IN THE BIBLE! AND APPEARS OVER 7000 TIMES?
Thought you were supposed to be the 'enlightener'? huh  So you suddenly do a 360, and ask us to tell you God's name? Are you for real?

Come on, man!  I bet you're having a laugh, right?  Because you can't possibly be serious with this kind of circumlocutory 'argument'.  Reflect on all your responses so far, and you'll see why not many people are interested in 'debating' you. smiley

I hope you do realize that you have totally defeated the purpose of this thread with your copy & paste questions (most of which border on the ridiculous, I must say).  And I sincerely hope that you're not under the impression that you are making any sense at all.

One more thing, I hope you do realise that you're shouting (typing in all CAPS = shouting).  And you know what they say about those who make the loudest noise. . .

The so called atheists, you have not given us enough reasons to believe that there is no God, and yet want evidence from us. Anyway, it is only a fool that will say there is no God.
If I make a positive claim that Santa Claus exists, the burden of proof lies on me to provide substantial evidence for my claim.  It will be intellectually dishonest for me to ask those who do not believe me to provide "evidence" for their unbelief, don't you think so?

Shersky:
Not that I'm condoning's Mourinho's action but I'm sure that 'Mourinho's Finger Poking an eye' is photoshopped. Mourinho's skin is tanned to the wrist and. The skin From the wrist to the fingers is pale. Why is thathuh My Friends, those are Photoshoppers at work. In the Video, Mourinho released his hand from the guy's right ear just before the guy turned. Make una no bobo us!
The pale hand is as a result of the reflection of the light in the stadium.   See Vilanova's 'pale' face too?  Abidal's shiny head?

And once again, in the video, the reason it appears Mourinho was twitching Vilanova's ear is because he poked the eye with his index finger while his thumb rested on the side of his face (very close to the ear).  Vilanova turned his head almost immediately away from that direction while Mourinho's finger was still pressed to his face, and so Mourinho's thumb slides towards his victim's ear, thereby giving an impression of an ear twitch (A little experiment for you:  Turn your head to the left while your index finger is firmly placed on your eye. You'll see that your finger ends up on or close to your right ear, depending on how fast you turn your head).

Besides, I hope you realize that Mourinho hasn't denied the incidence himself.

Yes I am well aware of the numerous wonders of photoshop, and Yes I have seen the video.  Several times.  When I saw the match live, my first thought was that it was the ear as well.  Until I saw the picture and then went back to look at the video more closely.  The angle of the video camera is quite different from the picture's.  From the picture above, we have a clearer view of what Mourinho actually did, unlike in the video where the angle is a bit tilted so it gives the impression that it was an ear twitch rather than the actual eye poke, because Mourinho's thumb extends towards Vilanova's ear (he poked the eye with his index finger).   See the picture above and try to see where the thumb is, and then imagine the image you'd have in your head if the picture is tilted a bit more to the right.  Also bear in mind that the incidence happened really fast.

Here, the video (pay close attention to the moment between 0:03 and 0:05):

Christianity EtcUnited Nations Legalises Blasphemy As Protected Speech by Purist(op): 3:17pm On Aug 17, 2011
According to paragraph 48, “Prohibitions of displays of lack of respect for a religion or other belief system, including blasphemy laws, are incompatible with the Covenant, except in the specific circumstances envisaged in article 20, paragraph 2, of the Covenant.” Article 20, paragraph 2 calls on states to prohibit “advocacy of national, racial, or religious hatred that constitutes incitement to discrimination, hostility, or violence.” The Comment is careful to require that any restrictions must not violate the Conventions’ guarantees of equality before the law (Article 26) and freedom of thought, conscience, and religion (Article 18).

Thus, for instance, it would be impermissible for any such laws to discriminate in favor of or against one or certain religions or belief systems, or their adherents over another, or religious believers over non-believers. Nor would it be permissible for such prohibitions to be used to prevent or punish criticism of religious leaders or commentary on religious doctrine and tenets of faith.

First of all, what the hell is "body poisoning"?? grin

So a woman allegedly suffering from "body poisoning" (whatever that means) is sitting on a chair while the pastor stretches his hand towards her to heal her.  She looks on as the MOG performs his wonders, uttering some religious mumbo jumbo along the line.  He suddenly motions to her to stand up.  As she's mute, it is assumed / we're made to believe that she's unable to talk.  Seconds later, she begins to vomit some horrible-looking substance which we're told is poison (because of its sticky nature. Er, Mr. TB Joshua, ever heard of phlegm? undecided).  And bingo! moments after, she's suddenly able to talk. grin  Common sense tells me that the only reason she wasn't "talking" was because she had something in her mouth all the while, which she was supposed to be vomit as planned. Meanwhile, it's interesting to note that her legs are just as smooth as any healthy person's.  Apparently, the "poison" did not affect her lower limbs (very nice make-up, I must say).  Yeah, praise the lawd! tongue

This is a sexist remark.  Not only did you condescendingly mention that Polly Toynbee is a lady, you also had to capitalize it.  Is this what Jesus taught you?

Besides, Richard Dawkings has been debating the existence of God since god-knows-when.  His decision to opt out of this one shouldn't be giving you premature ejaculations.

He died for a very SPECIAL course; a very tangible and FUNCTIONAL course. He died for our sins--now that makes perfect sense!!!!
Well, a mother dieing for her child, or a spouse dieing for their partner could also be deemed a very special cause.  Both are equally tangible and functional (another life is being saved in their stead).  Remember also that what makes "perfect sense" really depends on perception, perspective and circumstance.  From a non-Christian perspective, vicarious redemption makes absolutely no sense at all.
