dreaizy:I use parallel space app and it works fine. I upgraded to premium with just 500 naira for lifetime usage which is transferable to another device if you change phone. On computer, use different browsers and never make the mistake of mixing the logins up. This is not a guarantee that you will not run into problems using multiple accounts. What may work for one person may not work for another, but it is worth giving a try. Just follow your instinct and be super vigilant. |
Ysakaws1:1. Use buyer's request to save your dying gig. 2. Edit your gig and place it in the right updated category. (Fiverr keeps splitting gigs. Eg. Data entry being a separate gig from virtual assistant). Also, some more features are added to gigs to meet up with the international standards. If you notice too long drop in a gig with several reviews, edit it. 3. Create a new account. Never use one account on fiverr if you want to expand your earnings. There are times one account sells more than the other. Some other time, it could be vice versa. But, remember the 11th commandment - though shall not be caught. |
Ysakaws1:Earlier, most Nigerian fiverr accounts were sent to the back page. Although I argued it was not a Nigeria thing. But I noticed my account and that of my friend got promoted at the same time. So, I don't really know the dynamics fiverr is using |
Adam00:Lies bro. I have been using Airtel since time immemorial. Fiverr is not PayPal that is IP sensitive. |
fleksy:That still does not make it right. You collected the samples to check the quality of work of the seller, only to put up those works as yours. That's unethical. Top rated sellers are very expensive bro and hardly have time for new buyers if you understand how fiverr works. I don't have problem with you selling ebooks. My only concern is the arbitrage in the service provision |
yembet:Reading the stories here is like watching nollywood movies. Never knew parents like these exist. Thank God for my mom. That's all I can say. |
fleksy:It would have been better you open this thread to sell your ebook outrightly than this thing you are teaching. Trust me, it is bad. It always backfires on the Fiverr seller. Mind you, goods and services are not the same. A cloth seller at Yaba that sold a cloth from a shop that's not his, is not the same with a non mechanic that will open a mechanic workshop just to deceive people by charging them and driving their cars to a real mechanic to fix. What happens when the client does not like the final outcome of the job, you will ask for a refund? What if there is a communication gap? Funnily, you may not understand the terms used for a particular service thus ordering from the wrong guy with the end result being cancellation and negative rating. And, you said they should order from top rated sellers at $5? It is obvious you don't understand either Craigslist or Fiverr but you want to sell ebook anyway. And brandishing people's work as yours? Bro, stop already! Goodluck to people that will buy your book |
This is how they mess Fiverr up |
Why are people pained. I wanted to disagree with the list until I saw number two - Benue girls and I had to concur a bit. Sadly, their girls are not always beautiful but they can fnck. Funny enough, they'll look churchy yet be fncking around. Every other states have their own bad eggs, no exceptions. |
Brandconsultany:I ignore those warnings like there's no tomorrow and send my email, WhatsApp number and Skype ID to clients on fiverr using the fiverr inbox or order page. You don't have to fear anything as far as the client will still come back to order from you on fiverr. |
1001 reasons why I am addicted to nairaland. 1. I learned the online business that I am doing today on nairaland. 2. Nairaland provides first hand experience of almost anything you ask of or want to know. Ask any question or share an experience and you will see people that will answer you based on their real life experiences 3. News updates (I got to know that the market close to me is on fire by reading through here). Although, sometimes they could delay in updating the Frontpage thereby bringing in stale news 4. Ability to mix work with pleasure (business, investment, romance, sexuality) 5. Free basics (for those managing data). You can access all nairaland features for free Etc. Op, I am 100% addicted to this site right from my university days |

Bro, do you have Mobil 1 at present |
vickertony:That Airtel own is cheap for business purpose actually. Smile is 15K and it barely last up to 30 days. If you are not living in the major cities in Nigeria, you may not have access to Smile as it is only available in some selected cities. You can do Airtel 500 for 1 gig. Last for 7 days. That way, it will give you 2000 for 4 gig per month.
|
vickertony:I use Smile But Airtel 1500, 6gig for 7 days last enough |
Michaelmercy:You're doing a great job already. Don't mess it up with fake account. Just create a Nigerian account and optimize the title and description, add your portfolio images and video, and use buyer's request. You will be fine |
It appears it's Nigeria accounts time to sell |
GboyegaD:If you maintain self control all the time, how and when will you have sex with a lady. The point should be consent. When you make a move and she says NO, respect her wish. Don't write like you're a Saint bro. You and I know that most Nigerians shy away from sex topics and that includes talking about it even before the act but yet they will go ahead to do it anyway. My submission still remains that girls should avoid occasion of rape for their own safety. They are saving themselves and the guy from any awkward eventuality. |
Nehyooh:Bro, some ladies are weak with saying No. Check my original writeup, if it is somebody that the lady has had sexual relationship with, it is easier to convince her to go to the house or hotel for a good bye sex. It's not every lady that has that firmness to look a guy in the face and say no. Some can easily be convinced with words after which they will regret it. Prevention is better than fighting back. |
rockstarB:Teaching a guy that he's not entitled to a girl's body and teaching a girl that she is not entitled to a guy's money and favor. Any girl that's not weary of accepting undeserved gifts is not well brought up and could fall victim of many of these incidents |
ruggedtimi:Being at the right place at the wrong time. Empty church and public library are not the same. Even in a university environment, it is unwise and risky for any girl to be reading in a full class alone. |
Nehyooh:If you read through, you will know. Never visit a guy alone if you are not ready for the outcome which is most times what we all already know. Girls know this, and when it happens, you will hear them saying all guys are the same. Must you touch a girl once she visits you. You visited the first guy m, second and third, and they did the same thing. Yet, you went ahead to visit the fourth guy. If your instinct is telling you otherwise, either don't go or go with someone. |
Biglittlelois:Check back buddy. You may need it |
So, the current trend in rape cases and accusations have reminded me of an incident that happened some years back. Earlier, I was living in Lagos while my immediate elder sister was living with my other sister who lives and works in Benin. Fast forward to 2012, I got admission into Uniben and my sister got married the same year. Her husband lives in Lagos so she left Benin to Lagos while I left Lagos to come and take up my admission in Benin. During my matriculation, my sister came down to Benin to celebrate with me. There's this friend of hers (I don't know the type of relationship they had) that wanted to see her. My sister was reluctant in meeting up with the guy but he insisted. They agreed to meet at Mr. Biggs, Ugbowo. My sister asked me to follow her to the restaurant. When we got there, the guy's countenance changed immediately he saw that my sister came with me and the meeting didn't last for more than five minutes before we dispersed. When we were done eating the rice and chicken we ordered, the guy wanted to pay but my sister refused and rather paid for everything we bought. This is so the guy won't feel sad for wasting his time and money. Whatever his intention was, his only regret should be not achieving it and not in addition to spending his money or thinking my sister brought me to leech on him. Now I am writing this to teach girls and women alike two important life lessons. 1. Never ever visit a guy in his house if you are not ready to have sex with him. This is not the same thing as saying that for every time you visit a guy, sex must occur. 80% of guys believe that once a girl agrees to visit them at home, she has agreed to whatever outcome such visit would bring. 70% of the times, even if the girl escapes penetrative sex, she will not escape touching, kissing and smooching. Even the Bible admonishes that the best way to avoid sin is to avoid the occasion of sin. Girl's attitude aren't helping in any of these. A girl would tag a guy weakling, jew guy, simp, etc., simply because he refused to make a move on her. I have been a victim. Even meeting in so called open places could be dangerous if you don't trust the guy at all. One thing could lead to another and the next thing, you will find yourself in his house. Guys with a ride can relate how easy it is to convince a girl to follow you home after meeting in an open/public place. So, don't trust your instinct 100%. If you know there's nothing good that will come out of such meeting, don't embark on it. 2. Never accept a gift whether money, goods or free services from a guy if you don't have a way to pay back. Economists believe that anything that is free has no value. They believe in no free lunch, you can't get output without an input. This is becoming a trend as most girls feel eating and cleaning mouth makes them smart. Sometimes, you might eat and while trying to clean mouth, the water will stuck on your teeth (proverb). For every gift or favor someone does for you, they expect a repayment. A profit oriented entrepreneur expects some return on investment (ROI). In consumption, it is called UTILITY. A rational consumer expects to get the highest level of satisfaction (utility) on every money spent in purchasing a good. The high rate of rape cases can be attributed to the decadence in morality in the present society. Ladies of the 80's and early 90's guide themselves very well. This is because majority of them were virgins and would do anything to avoid finding themselves in some situations. But today, our ladies have thrown caution to the wind. They feel that the worst thing that will happen is sex. Well, sometimes, it might cause you more than just sex. The case of the Uwa girl is a sad one but I wouldn't let my daughter leave alone to read in a church that doesn't have any activity. She could have gone with a friend or read at home if she couldn't find anyone to follow her. I'm not absolving men of rape or an apologist to rapists, but our girls need to do better. Wearing skimpy dress is not the problem, nobody will rape you while you are walking in a busy street. The same precautions you will take to safeguard your phone from criminals, is the same precautions you need to take to protect yourself. If you don't want/like a guy, don't indulge him. Don't use your teeth to share a meat you don't eat to children (proverb). I know many will have a different opinion, this is mine. Over and out

Abovebest:I had my undergraduate in Uniben and currently doing my masters in unilag. Bro, unilag is not overhyped. The school in terms of infrastructure is really doing well. Uniben no near... Lecture halls are well equipped with either AC or fan. Some faculties like faculty of art even uses elevator that works perfectly well. Security is top notch. |
adoreyou:I'll wake up |
Here's a video of blacks fighting back over the recent murder of Floyd. They were actually pelting stones on the police officers Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivIg3CcB2gM Another video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-T6bCXiGTmE

Erosion2020:I think it depends on experience. To me, it's the women that are married into the family that cause the division more than the women married out of the family. The women married out of the family will only have influence if the male children allowed it. But the women married into the family will first start with the mother in law, then the single sisters of the husbands if any, then extended to the husband's brothers. My own brother hit me for the first time because of his wife. Our family fought him in a way that he couldn't try it again. That's in the past. |
Depending on the size of the family. Some families are concerned about cousins, uncles and aunties. No, my family is concerned with just my mother's children. This is largely due to high number of children (10 children, 9 married with kids). One of the causes of the disunity is this general saying "nobody owes you anything". Some family members make it earlier in life and thus turn their back against those still struggling. And when those struggling ones finally makes it, they wouldn't want any association anymore. You can put it generally on imbalance in financial strength. Death of parent(s) is another factor. Once the father and/or mother dies, the family is disintegrated. Parents act as a force bringing children and cousins together. It's more when the ladies are married and the male children leave the family house to build houses elsewhere. Even when they return home, they are in their respective houses and visiting the family house, they appear like visitors. It's not compulsory to relate with every member of your family. You decide your friends based on interest and mutual feelings but you don't decide your family members. Some family members are better off kept at arms length. So, in an attempt to unite, an experience may make you regret ever attempting the reunion. Just take those that are already close to you and relate with them. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. |
