Is it okay to send a portfolio link to the buyer in the request?

To put it lightly, level does not determine my earnings. If I should start moving up the ladder of the levels, one of my accounts is getting to TRS as I've met all the requirements.

You can send portfolio samples if you are sure it is of great quality with relevance to the particular request.

Also note that there's no one best way to getting messages/orders.

Sometimes I do send offers for days without a reply but you know, if you can convert 2-3 offers out of 30-50 requests, that's still cool.

I don't know the service that you provide but 4-6 buyers in a month can pay the bills for me depending on which of my packages sold

I need more buyers request tips, as it'll be very helpful

I currently use two fiverr accounts. Both accounts have been in level 2 at some point but are all now in level zero.

It's not hard for new accounts to see requests as all the requests are available for all sellers.

The only difference is that the request becomes unavailable once it gets to a certain number of offers.

So, you have to keep refreshing the page every time to be able to know when the page is refreshed and send offer.

I like being in level zero. It may sound unusual but that's the truth.

When I'm in level zero, I can easily send offers to new requests unlike levels 1 and 2 that some old requests might block new requests from a different gig.

So, the key is to start as early as 7:00 AM to refresh the buyers request page. I continued to refresh the page from 7AM till 10AM before leaving my bed in the morning.

And during the day, I still keep refreshing the page. I technically sleep there.

But does your pricing matter? Say the buyer's budget is $50 ,do you price below or the same budget price of the buyer?

I only send offer to buyers whose budgets closely meet my expectation.

Also, it depends on the content of the request. Some will state specifically that the budget put there is just a placeholder.

Sometimes, I do place a little higher or lower price depending on the buyer's budget. If the buyer puts $30, I can decide to put $40. It has worked for me sometimes. It could mean you have a set price (standard), or I can put $100 if the budget is $120.

When an Indian puts $5, that's his final budget so you've got to use your discretion

I spent more than one year getting jobs on Fiverr through buyers requests only. I never knew it was even possible to get direct messages and get job without sending offer. This made me master the art of sending offer which has been my leverage on Fiverr irrespective of what happens.

They demoted me to level zero from level 2 yet my sales remain the same.

I no longer receive direct messages through my gig listing but I am still able to pull buyers in from the buyers requests.

The key to getting jobs through buyers requests are
1. Let your offer in the buyers requests be between the first ten offers. Some buyers pick from the first five. If you have ever put up request on fiverr and you are getting over 100 offers, you will know how overwhelming it is to read through. In fact, it is a job to some buyers, therefore, they pick the first five offers at most. So, irrespective of how good your offer, reviews, and levels are, your offer is most likely not to be read if it's the 22nd offer.

2. Make it short and direct. I don't write more than 3 lines in my offer. There's no need beating around the bush. Just pick a point or two in what the buyer needs and write your offer around it. This is also important because the more time you take writing your proposal, the farther your offer will be.

3. Refresh the request page after sending 2-3 offers. Sometimes, you will refresh the buyers requests and see 15 new offers. By the time you send the first three, please refresh the offer page to know the position of other requests. You will notice that those requests at 0 offers are already having 25 offers sent. There's no need continuing to send offer on those requests. Just wait for new offers.

4. Sleep on the buyers requests page. I wake up and sleep on this page whenever I am in desperate need of jobs. The page gets refreshed by as early as 7:15 AM Nigerian time. I will keep checking this page up until 11:pm.

5. Be selective in your offer. Don't just send offer to any requests. Some supposed buyers are notorious with posting same job over and over again. Some will be asking for ridiculous samples, some will put ridiculous budgets, etc, select your offer right, avoid Indians, Pakistanis and Bangladesh requests. Their names always give them away.

6. Don't sound desperate in your offer. It's good to sound very professional and less salesy. I wish I can share some of my offers that got me the jobs. They are really bland, short and direct.

I have this issue bothering me for years now and I'm beginning to slip into depression.
