meobizy: No. At all. You’ve seen an individual deprive him/herself of a good thing because of anger, right? I am ready to bear the full consequence of missing out on a free offer because I originally mistook it for a scam. Whatever pain I feel from such instance is minute compared to the mental and physical anguish one goes through from getting successfully scammed. If the offer was legitimate to begin with I wouldn’t doubt it for a second. As such the company should blame itself for not making its terms and conditions clear to laymen. If you do full time online business, sending online is inevitable. Escrow can only help curtail the scam rate |

AngryIgboMan: Pyrrhic victory is a victory or success that comes at the expense of great losses or costs. In business, examples of such a victory could include winning a lengthy and expensive lawsuit that at the end of the day, it wouldn't have made sense to head to the courts.
The expression alludes to King Pyrrhus of Epicurus, who, after defeating the Romans in battle, reportedly said: "If we win another such battle against the Romans, we will be completely lost." He reportedly lost 16,000 of his 17,000 best officers and warlords.
You have already spent 200 naira to recover 300. It didn't show. How much else do you want us to spend? If the 300 naira is recovered... To what purpose? A pyrrhic debt recovery?
In life, there are things you just allow to slide no matter how painful it is. It doesn't make sense to win a battle and loose a war. Knowledge added PYRRHIC VICTORY |

teemy: GTB exchange rate as at last week is $362
Payoneer charges 2% per withdrawal, takes less than 24 hours to get to Dom account
You then proceed to the bank and write a letter of authorization for the forex sales. Takes about a day. Sometimes, GTB might hold on to the money. Once you complain to their online help desk, you get your money. After doing this once, it shouldn't happen again.
You have to show a transaction proof of the Payoneer funds if you want to make forex sales from Dom to Savings/Current. You can get this on the transaction details page. That small 'note' icon, click it and you will see a download link below. Download the pdf to phone and take to bank.
Pays a lot more than using Payoneer exchangers that want to but at 340/$
E.g a $100 tranasction using exchangers is N34,000 (final rate 340/$) Using GTB, you receive $98 in dom which converted gives N35,476 (final rate 354.36/$) Do you think the stress of walking into the banking hall, printing transactions proof and all that worth the extra 1k plus? I don't think so. Convenience and ease of transaction matters to me. The time spend and money if you were to transport yourself to the bank are better saved selling to exchangers. If you have large funds $1000 and above, it may worth the stress, otherwise, sell to exchangers. It's faster and more convenient |

iluvMAMAV: thats great my bro , I will go for a printout I know the person you quoted wanted to say three months and not three years. It takes minimum of three months before it comes out. Most people don't know this thus they wait until it's time to start driving before they start applying for the driving license (driving school certificate first). If you want to start driving immediately, go to the driving school and obtain driving permit. Note that this permit has lots of limitations as it cannot be used anywhere driving license is required for official documentation. After three months, go do capture and in two weeks maximum, you will get your permanent driver's license |

Family › Re: I Want To Marry From My Village Against Everyone's Will please help me by PuZZyNegro: 10:28pm On Feb 21, 2020 |
Mandem12: I had to open a new account for this, pardon me for Punctuation errors. I have to go straight to the point so as not to bore you... My story goes thus
I'm a young man of 25. I met this very beautiful girl, aged 23 now, we've dated 4 years now. She's so humble, the love grew out of nowhere. She does everything a woman would do for a man and I do everything a man will do for a woman.
I found myself not doing anything without her and she cannot do anything without involving me, we actually love each other very much.
She started pestering me to have a blood oath with her because she was scared I would leave her. I laughed it off cos I knew I wouldn't cheat on her, she is everything I wanted in a woman.
Trouble started when I brought her home to meet my parents, I was actually happy that I had found my wife...
When she left, my father asked me where she was from, and I told him and my father told me I can't marry her because she was from the same village with me and thereby related by blood thereby marrying her is an abomination that she was my sister so to say and said our kinsmen would not be Involved if I insist on marrying her... I felt my world crumbling down like a pack of cards...
I told my girl and she was like, it's an old tradition and nobody will dictate to her who she would marry and she loves me and there was no going back...
As a man, I thought about it and wanted to let her go because I wouldn't want the stigma to be on us and my unborn kids... I showed her some attitude to make her hate me but she didn't, rather she would rather beg me not to leave her even when I'm at fault. I feel bad anytime I do anything to hurt her feelings...
Now, I actually want to get her pregnant and damn the consequences, do a court wedding if the need arises and relocate with her out from our state and start a new life elsewhere...
Another mind is telling me to let her go so we can move on with our lives, or even be a fugitive for her... I however know she will hurt herself if I leave her... I'm very confused about everything, I seriously need help... Why is Igbo tradition this way? I found love with this girl, now everything is about to be stripped away from me, just like that... I seriously need an advice please...
I love this girl so much and she make me happy
Please move this to front page so I can hear from others please... Truth is, you cannot marry that girl and it will be stupid of you to elope with her. YOU WILL SURELY REGRET IT. This is mostly common with villages that are very small where each family are related one way or the other. My village is like that whereas the neighboring village and in fact, many other villages in my town can marry within themselves. If you do stay in the village, you will notice and feel that oneness among all your village people that makes it impossible for them to marry. Don't let westernization ruin your life |

Barristabola29: My thought was that spending money on ladies will get their attention Never ever give a girl money unless she asked. You could use that 5k to take her out and two of you will spend quality time together with the friendship bonding more. She sees you as desperate and wanting to win her over with money which didn't go down well with her. And I can bet that your attitude changed slightly after sending her the money thinking she should be answering you, sir henceforth. Since you both are in the same city, why not find time to meet up instead of chatting, chatting, chatting. I'm not the chatty type though. I only chat when I want to ask question or book appointment |

mikezuruki: Masters pT is still same fee, but I'll pay it twice. pay same fee in thhhhe the second year I'm currently running my masters degree at Unilag The part time and full time school fees are different even if you are paying twice. Our full time pay a total of 139k for the entire programme. Part time pay about 230k for the first session only. You cannot switch after paying school fees for full time else it will be invalidated. They will only advise you to defer Just go now and switch if the window is still open (there's a deadline to do so) Also, it's not worth leaving your job for. Switching to part time is your best option |
Car Talk › Re: 5 Reasons Why Car Insurance Is Better Than Car Tracker by PuZZyNegro: 7:03am On Feb 13, 2020 |
In Nigeria, most insurance companies hardly pay. I have been raising claims for my car damage in one of top insurance companies website but no one is answering me.
I bought another car and just installed tracker. The stress of raising claims here, you would save yourself the time and repair your car.
Besides, in a year, your car may not incur any damage that would require insurance working on it and you will be gifting them free money |
