Sure, however, start small, start local, learn a skill that is relevant to your area of study to make your certifcate useful. Let me give you an example, if you studied accounting, learn a skill like Peachtree, Daceasy, Tallly etc. If you studied computer science learn coding or data analysis, web design, networking etc. these are just a few of the examples that can help you align your skill with our certifcate. Or you learn any skill that can make you stand out even without your certifcate. Video editing, graphic design etc. guys need to come out of their shells to learn something that will discomfort them for just a while for a better future

Health › Re: My HIV Test Result - Farside by qtx(m): 1:58pm On Nov 12, 2023
FarSide:
"Unprotected sex with 12 girls in 4 years, I'm afraid I might have HIV"

https://www.nairaland.com/7893353/im-afraid-might-hiv

Good evening fellas...
I made this post two weeks ago, I was so terrified, was going crazy but thank God for the words of encouragement from you guys. Your kind words and encouragement made me took the bold step
After thinking about my life, I decided to do the test; if I perish I perish. It is better than all the sleepless nights and nightmares.

For over a month now my Google searches is 99% related to HIV; the modes of transmission, early signs, late symptoms, prevalence rate in Nigeria, my state, general world stats.

To worsen the whole situation, last week when I was trying to hold myself together, my latest girl called that she's been feeling feverish, vomited 3x or so, she's lost weight and all... I froze. That's all what google fed me as early signs and it's barely 2 months we had sex...

So I woke up one day and fixed today, Friday 10th November for the test come rain come shine.
This morning, I woke up, promised myself it must be today. If I have it, I have it already. It's not like the test will put the virus in my system. Just a confirmation.

After all, I've joined some HIV support groups on Facebook and saw many were requesting for a match making. These would be my family at worst, they are humans too!

So I left very early for a mission hospital kilometers away from my house. I got to the place, sneaked in after watching to ensure the coast is clear from anyone that might know me.
I asked the gateman and he directed me to where I can get a compulsory patient's card. I got to the office and met no one on duty, so I had to wait. Just as I was waiting, a primary school classmate walked in with her husband, they a planning a wedding and the church directed them for same blood test.
"Whick kind wahala be this" I asked myself, I thought no one will see me here today. No wam, we waited together until the card lady entered, we got the card and proceeded to the electronic capturing center.

The woman at the electronic center was reluctant to attend to me that it must be couple that will come for the test, ahhh cou what?? Madam I'm single and I want to do a blood test to know if I'm health for a relationship or not... People come dey laff me.
Finally, I was attended to and was directed to financial department. I went and made my payment and was redirected to the electronic capturing center, when i got back, I called on the woman "ma, I'm asked to give u this receipt" she turned, "you?? Your case is different" she said. I was like has she confirmed I'm positive by mere look? How is my case different?

At long last she directed me upstairs, to the test office. Omo, I actually thought they would collect my blood sample and ask me to come back for the test result.
I had planned to go take some alcohol before I will come for the rest but no... Korokoro, the lad pricked my hand got and test strip and it was it.... Ma ma I stammered... Like are u seriously doing this now??
Just like when Kalistus ate the poisoned fish, I began to get weak.
She began asking me questions, but I was busy watching the test strip until a line began to form at the down side, it was a single line. I was a bit happy but it wasn't over as I heard it might take up to 20 minutes.
I burst prayer oo. Just then the lady at the opposite side called to ask my age and all that. Before I could turn back I say the test lady writing Negative. Omo, I jumped out, they called be back to come take my result sheet.
I rushed out dancing skelewu as I made my way to the exit gate.
My good people I'm Negative to HIV 1$2.
congrats. now u have another chance to start living right. get born again now and serve God that is why He saved you.

Greetings everyone, I've been driving for over a year now and I've noticed we don't know how to use headlights in this country even my friend that visited from the US complained same thing.
I don't know if it's selfishness or what but how will someone be on very high beam even when opposite an incoming vehicle, I almost entered a ditch because an SUV beamed on my small Corolla to the point I couldn't even see properly, are there rules set for all these in this country?
God's willing if I don't leave this country within the next 2 years I'm getting a bigger vehicle and I will purposely install massive led lights I will be counter beaming people till they notice their mistake.

You are so on point. As long as you are earning very well here in Nigeria, there is no need relocating abroad. At best, you could go for vacations and come back.
You people keep talking about this thing as if everything about Japa is money. Nooo, how about safety/security of you and your family? Quality education for the children and other more important privileges you dont have around here?

Money is important but if someone in any of those high career level can save something reasonable to migrate on Investors Visa for instance even if he/she is above 50 i dont think there is anything wrong with it.
Family › Re: I Feel Like I'm Being Bullied In My Family by qtx(m): 3:30pm On Nov 09, 2023
HelpfulBro:
I'm a young man and still living with my parents and sisters. I earn some good amount of money and I'm doing okay for myself, I try as much as I can to help my family out with food stuff for example I've helped with 100k for food stuff from now till December and did a little things too like support my mom and help my dad but I'm very unhappy with my sisters and mom.

My sisters always verbally abuse me by insulting me when I don't do something for them and try to make feel guilty for not giving them what they ask for, when I try to set boundaries like what I don't like they tell me to shut up that I'm the junior that I'm talking rubbish

Just this Morning while I was still getting up with sleep in my eyes and praying they started banging my door that light meter has finished and I should come and pay but I was confused so I just didn't respond till I finished praying and came out. Before I did she was already shouting that they should leave me since I don't want to answer and she'll put #200 naira own if that what I want.

She injured her leg from the door while she was going out side to do it and now she's blaming me that I'm the reason why it happened to her, saying I'm still her junior and I don't have sense that why would I not answer her. I'm shocked and I told her how I'm I the problem and I just literally woke up, I just told them that I hate them and now she's insulting me more

I don't respond but I'm getting very angry at this and I'm looking for a way to leave the house and relocate, they are my older sisters and they don't even work or do anything but I don't say it to their faces but I don't see why they don't give me mutual respect at all
We have heard your story, but we didnt hear the one from your sisters. From what you said, you are trying. However, forget all these ill advices you are getting here about moving out, locking up etc. These people advising you have nothing to do with your family hence see it from their own perspective. They dont care about your family bc they have no ties with them, you have. Blood is thicker than water. When the family was feining for you these guys were not there or neither did they know how you were helped by your family. Some of those your sisters may have suffered to carry you around and fed you. Even though they dont work which i feel they should be working anyway, take it easy. Try to peacefully and respectfully appeal to them to know you have grown and what they are doing is hurting you. Also, try to sit with the whole family to let them know no matter what, you need to have some savings and invest, you cant just collect and spend that way because no one know what the future holds. Talk especially to your mum and dad to prevail on your sisters to take it easy with you. But you must also try to be humble because i know sometimes when someone starts doing better than his siblings (financially especially)the temptation to feel superior is not too far. I pray for you to see peace and enjoy peace with your family. Family is the greatest thing to have.

One of the secrets behind a war is that if you start the war first, even if you are powerful, they war will be difficult for you to win. So in the case of Hamas and Israel, who started this fight? Hamas of course. After Israel is done with them this time around, next time Iran deceives them to attack Israel, they will think twice.

I knew it that this kind of propaganda can only be done by Al Jazeera. It is the tool the Islamic terrorists use to weep up sympathy. On October Oct after Hamas attacked and invaded Israel, Aljazeera was hyping Hamas telling Israel they should leave Gaza alone because Hamas has developed itself to be capable of overrunning Israel. Now that Israel is responding, AJ goes around making the whole world feel like Israel is at fault.
Now they go capture video of a few Muslims in the USA chanting against the USA supporting Israel and make it look like the whole USA citizens are against it. Wait, let Trump win the 2024 election. What Biden is doing is just a joke. Quote me. All these media organizations sef na wa.
