You come late. Rufai is the only fearless journalist right now in Nigeria. In fact, he is an activist journalist. What you people dont know is that if Rufai is out of Arise, another TV house will rush him. Don't you know Rufai has brought wild popularity to Arise TV? CEOs of TV stations are keeping an eye on Rufai to say I no do again for Arise so they can rush him. Rufai is the only terror Nigerian politicians have goosebumps facing. His organic love by Nigerian youths who believe in saying the truth to these politicians who have milked the country dry is so awesome. Anyway, I know some hungry supporters here who are yet to take a single meal since yesterday will still come here and defend him. No wahala. We are in it, 2geda |

Eriokanmi: Where did you get your statistical data from? Kindly post it here.
The last time I checked, hiv was fast becoming a pandemic in the country and no thanks to the federal government careless views on this. I was at the FMOH in Abuja last August where the programme director was lamenting, that if not checked, hiv would soon become a pandemic in the country with the kind of results they were receiving from government hospitals, that the NGOs should intensify efforts in curtailing the spread.
Last year, a girl whom I used to groom told me she had some spotted swellings at some locations in her body. She never had a bf until she met this guy who returned from Philippines. They've been talking but eventually met face to face. They grew up together in same area before he travelled. In short, he promised to marry her, slept with her and went back. When I asked her if she ever did anything with anybody, she denied it. I now asked her to go for hiv yest cos what I saw was like lymph nodes coming out. She tested positive. That guy ignored her immediately after she asked him some questions. It spreads like wildfire now. The onus is on everyone to zip up and lead a responsible life. Go to the government hospitals and see for yourself. That statistical data you came up with would disappoint you. A lot of people who are hiv positive don't show symptoms cos they take their drugs. Their looks can be deceptive. But is the appearance of lymph node an authomatic positive result of hiv? Just asking |

Abisolababe: Good morning nairalanders I think this world is turning to something else
I work with a private organisation where I earn 20k as my monthly stipend For the past one four month now we have not been paid salary and we dare not ask my boss because she is a disciplined woman who doesn't tolerate nonsense..
Things are really getting hard and I couldn't even afford transport fee to work this morning as I have to trek down to work this morning, and on getting to work I decided to summon courage to ask this woman about my salary, She told me to go back to my duty . but to my greatest surprise it was sack letter that follows. I tried talking to her and telling her the situation of things but she wouldn't listen and all what she said is that I have been fired.
I was told to come back ending of November to get my salary..
I don't really know what to do right now, it looks like cheating to me . This is my sweat, something I have work for ... Quite pathetic. Before you do anything, resign officially first. Bring the company name and that of the woman; let's call them out on social media. That is the first move. I believe it should work, else i release another kille.r tip thereafter. |

Career › Re: Why Do People At Work Always Assume A Lady Who Sets Boundaries Is Not Humble by qtx(m): 2:10pm On Oct 27, 2023 |
elonmuskbaby: Good morning nairaland ladies and gentlemen.i will go straight to the point.why do people always assume that every lady who sets boundaries and does everything possible to avoid insults, disrespectful snide comments, shades, minds her buisness and keeps her friends minimal but sticks to her job,why are such ladies seen as arrogant, proud, someone people should not move close to. some people Will even assume they know you so much as to give you unsolicited advice you didn't ask for, deliberately incite or bring drama or provocation directly to your doorstep to see how you will react and when you show your displeasure you're automatically labelled rude.
So my question is,is it that you shouldn't have boundaries at work, allow people to come to your office and gist endlessly and not have time to face what you are paid for, allow senior colleagues to Bully or intimidate you before you're considered accommodating, friendly and calm? You can take the above posture and not appear to be rude, honestly. It depends on how you go about doing all that. There is a form of politeness you assume; even your oga go de respect you. That said, there is always another side to any story. We have heard yours, and we wish we could hear from your accusers too. |
Politics › Re: Peter Obi: Reno, Last I Checked, You Aren't God! By Olawale Olaleye by qtx(m): 2:02pm On Oct 27, 2023 |
netpro: The 2023 Presidential Election really exposed Peter Obi. Now everyone knows the following facts about him:
1. He was just an average Governor, despite the economic potential, capacity and opportunity of a State like Anambra. Those who lived through it had a lot to say. Health workers strike, No LG elections, diverting Local Government funds, etc.
2. He is fraudulent like most Nigerian politicians. Diverting State funds into his private businesses, bring in his account officer to succeed him, hiding state money in family and proxies offshore, etc.
3. He is a religious fanatic. Dividing the nation across religious lines. Advocating religious war. Dividing an ethic group religiously - I am sure you have heard the term YorubaMuslim? It is deliberate. Dividing Christians in Anambra in Catholics, Anglicans and Others.
4. A real life 2Face. Him no dey give Shishi, so is the claim but buy LP presidential ticket overnight. Don't tell me they gave it to him freewill donation.
5. Beyond the smile, he is bitter and hateful. Up till now despite the highest court in the land ruling, Peter Obi is yet to congratulate the Winner.
There are many more. An Igboman will be President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, but definitely not Peter Obi. So what is the difference between you and Reno? Because Obi contested the election against your godfather, he is now a devil, right? You and Reno are bitter people, which is unfortunate. The Supreme Court passing Tinubu does not exonerate him from all the baskets of allegations he is carrying. If I were his supporters, I would have conscience and not celebrate. |

Fiscus105: Phone and laptop repairing, how many males are really know it? They do half job and push it for u to come back in next two months to give them back for repair.
For fine art (not painting) I biliv u must have natural talent just like music , football or acting before you can Excel in the profession, be it male or female. Most times, its a matter of interest and determination. You can learn anything and be good at it if you believe. Not all football players were born talented. So it is with any other area of skilled occupation. First, believe you can, have interest, be determined, and never give up. Practice makes perfect, they say. Who is an expert? Its someone who does the same thing over and over again, over 10,000 times. Go and try this and come back, then we will have further discussion on the topic. |

Females can learn painting, phone repairs, laptop repairs, fine art, etc. Its a function of what your passion is as a female. Nothing stops you from learning whatever you wish to learn. If women hold guns and go to war, then what is it that is too hard for them? Or is it just because they do not have a di.ck? |

MS247:

Keep your focus on your career and not distraction
The best form of investment is investing in human
If you invest in 100 people 90 would betray you 10 would uplift you
Do not discriminate based on class
Drivers, Police, Iyaloja Babaloja, Agbero are people that are loyal the most
A good example
1: Tinubu as a Governor in 1999🤔 saw Judges were earning just less than 50k and most dont have a car
He did the Judiciary reform, bought them Peaguet 504 , gave both Federal and State Judges allowance in Lagos
Today most of this Judges are elevated and in higher courts, his victory to them was paramount
. Simple!, Nigeria as a nation is in a very long journey. And in fact, we don't even know where we are headed. I warned people in 2015, they dismissed my warning with a joke. And we saw it. |
