What are you talking about? Itz ova is good? :O OK i see what this is all about, her acting has affected everybody's opinion. I agree she should stop acting and turn to singing ![]() |
the song is not bad, i's different from the mainstream nigerian music collection. Which believe it or not all sounds the same, you've heard one wizkid, dbanj, or wande coal song you've heard them all. I think these guys were trying to play with an alternative sound, I will say it was poorly produced (which was also a decent effort) given Nigeria isn't much creative with normal sounding music. They are all on a constant hype. She just needs to revisit studio and try again, most of the artists on the charts can't sing (esp nigerian male ones) so she shouldn let that hold her back. Look at dbanjs oliver for example, that was different, he played with the music a little (or rather don jazzy did) Nneka is different, so is Asa but they are still very successful. so she shoulnt lose hope. |
I think there is something wrong with the op, some of the things she comes out with, healthy minds don't think that way . |
first of all, paternity test is needed second of all, that poor child will soon become an orphan third of all, the poor child is at risk of developmental problems (down syndrome, mental retardation etc) due to the low quality of the s.perm. in short, old men should not be procreating. for the sake of the poor children. use a CONDOM.
scientific inaccuracy- children don't develop downs syndrome. They are born with it. You meant the chances of a child being born with these problems is higher with old age. If the child is healthy, all is well on the development side. |
haha! fantastic stuff! love it! they need all feminine products to be advertised in this manner men of these days truly believe when a woman takes a p*ss it smells like perfume, and that all of us must look like beyonce. pronography and euphemisms of a 'happy physiology' has beclouded the minds of these perverts. its about time they all know what life is really like! |
this is another lie- the lies the nigerian media love to propagate. Why dont they confirm information before releasing it? |
I blame those idiotic Nollywood movies for that kind mentality. The first 6 parts the movie...the wife is treated like absolute shite....no wait, shite is good. The woman is treated like something shite sees, turns its nose down at and call disgusting. Then 15 mins to the end of the 7th part, the man "comes to his senses" and they live happily ever after. Hollywood also teaches us that it never the man's fault, his bad behavior can be traced to someone cooking juju for him. No one asks what he was doing there in the first place for someone to cook it for him. With that excuse in the bag, he gets to treat his wife like trash, get another woman pregnant, kick that one out when he tires of her...goes back to his wife who instead of going into deep depression that she has live with the animal, goes on a thanksgiving spree.
sisi kill please do you have a blog? if no i demand you go and start one! ur just too amazing i swear! lmfao!!! *diesss* |
you answered your own question |
debrief08: Off course you wont understand this, you have "been away for far too long, you have forgoten our culture", the Nigerian wife is not supposed to for a second put her feelings, emotions or her life first, she is built to be a beast of burden, she must make room to indulge all her husbands "excesses" including abuse and infidelity, but she will be severely punished and cursed if she tries the same, because the husband is a "baby> How God will make a "baby" a leader and head of a woman adult no one has told me yet but that is the Nigerian way, you have forgotten the wise ways of your people that is why your society is filled with "divorce" but ours is filled with sad, miserable, and even dead with their rings on married women. come home and learn cultureIt's funny, even if some will propagate the beliefs and insist a woman must become the dumb one and be content with all maltreatment and wot not, they can at least provide a logical reason for doing so. They should explain why that approach is beneficial to the wife or to her children. At least I will be able to understand a little bit why Africans insist these things. |
your one sided view is expected- let me ask you. What does the wife stand to gain from the marriage? She is working and taking care of 2 children by herself? why should she bother? What is the husband working for? What will be the point of him taking a job elsewhere if it causes more financial stress? Or if he will use it as an excuse not to cater for his family? What is he buying land for? who is he buying land for? A woman has to be a complete fool to stick with a man who doesn't feel a sense of duty to his family. |
modele2: Your challenge is very real and I chose to reply becos i have experienced a part of it(fortunately not the beating part but the part where he wants you to spend every penny you have).for the life of me- i don't understand this. Can you explain this advice to me, tell me what the wife stands to gain from behaving like this. What is her reward for this, why should she be content with being abused? Why should she tolerate and be patient with her abusive husband, how does this improve her welfare her self esteem her mental health and the wel being of her children? I will love to know. |
Betuch2012: Fellow Nlanders, please help out a depressed soul.ok this is pretty much all i read, i guess you are waiting for him to kill you or transfer his aggression onto your children before you make the decisions to leave. Its difficult and yes I understand, but I think you should weigh the pros and cons, one of them being him beating you to death, and the fact that he sounds like an animal. I also don't think you should discuss it with him, because i fear he might use that as an opportunity to beat you. Just pack your things gather your children and let go. Nothing is worth living in hell for. |
john dumelo is soo sexy! im gonna go watch one of his movies now ![]() |
toba: Nonsense. she's the most powerful person under the judicial arm of govt. what if she had urgent matters to attend to?then she should have taken the brt bus, she's not a police officer so I cannot imagine the urgent matters that warrant breaking the law. goodness this mentality is why nigeria is still soo f*cked up. |
the chief allegedly ordered the killing of the boys, so no he should remain there til this thorough investigation is finished. however if the police are holding innocent villagers they should be released. |
Only backwards thinking leads to questions like these. How are you going to live without knowing one anothers incomes? How does she decide what you can afford and you likewise? You should be pooling your funds together to create better lifestyles for yourselves. The first thing you should know about the guy you marry is how much he earns, then you can decide if he is a sensible spender and if you want to marry him. |
nigerian women are material, what is your budget? you can get her clothes, jewelry, a handbag, shoes, even a phone if your budget is large. |
Horus: Uniport Four - Parents Urge IGP to Take Over CaseI KNEW IT!!! i knew it was a lie- i said it was a lie. The nigerian police force is probably the most useless force on the face of this earth. How did they arrest 13 people? If they did the people arrested probably had nothing to do with the crime, and were just unlucky villagers. I really wish news sites will go out of their way to confirm things before printing them. |
I agree, fashola is probably the only man on earth who can really transform Nigeria. I really hope he continues with his political career. |
i am sure once upon a time the moon was also made of cheese. |
and yes, golden morn and cerelac are the most amazing things ever. . . . .and supermalt. . . .the wonderful things that come from africa ![]() |
kandiikane: Ahhh, I remember my first ever golden morn. I cried for a bit and wondered where in heaven it has been all my life.haha! people should try to feed their kids actual food as early as possible. I know (especially the poor) believe childrens food is anything sweet and mushy. No kids need vitamins and nutrients, feeding them one type of food isn't going to give them that They need variety. |
that prayer was damn hilarious! 'six pac straight up'! loved it. the first one was down right silly |
ghettodreamz: Guy, I like your gut ooooo. But seriously, your analysis na poo. Stop being unrealistic and stop blaming the poor and helpless lady who had witnessed the death of her brother. It seems you have forgotten it's She and not He we are talking about here. And come to think of it, I'm definitely sure you wouldn't have been able to stop or abate the heinous act if you were in her shoe. Make you be front-man sef, you go run for your dear life believe me. He who fights and run away, lives to fight another day. QESThank you, thats what i was going to say- he is chatting absolute bull shyte- he said himself people were in the video begging them to stop- did they stop? I challenge him to go and look for where an accused thief is being lynched and start jumping up and down to save him, lets see if he will live to tell the tale. Some people are just soo senseless. |
candieangel12: Clearly u can tell thats an old pic because her recent tattoo is highly visible and would show with the bathing suit she has on....&& she is nomore with the red hairthat has to be the MOST AMAZING tattoo ever!!!! omg!!! |
i think they are both the same- people just tend to want what they dont have |
Leadn: Ladies – would you like your husband to be present in the labor room to watch you give birth?? (kinda gross if you ask meMoronic statement slimchi2k2: i dont think soYes, the woman obviously enjoys the pain
I dey craze? I never ready to see sumtin wey go make me vomit and/or faint. Hmmm me na only my neatly washed and wrapped up baby i wan see oo...i no send that stay-beside-her of a tin oo
Your mother did all soo well, tell us why you are worth 2 seconds of labour pain? Redhot111: I can't stay there with her in d labour room oo. Though i can b in d reception hall prayin 4 her. I don't even like 2 know wen she is on her monthly flow let alone watchin giv birth.I advise you switch to men, women are definitely not for you since the female physiology irks you soo much. Being gay is also now fashionable. . . . lo and behold ladies examples of men you should never marry!!! @op this is actually a very good question for women to ask their potential partners. If my man told me he wouldnt be present at the birth of his kids its a definite bye bye from me. An obvious indicator the man has a careless attitude and will be a very bad father. I understand a man saying he might feel queasy but imagine how your wife will feel? Its not as if a woman can bail on her labour, it is compulsory you be there unless she doesn't want you. I know alot of men bail on the birth of their kids and they ALWAYS turn out to be very bad fathers, ladies better look out for these indicators. Not everyman is husband/father material. It takes alot. |
Roland17: I am utterly disappointed by this post of yours which i personally believe should be termed in sensitive, and your insinuation that it could happen to anybody is totally false, somethings that occur in our lives as humans are preventable and please we can't keep our opinions to ourselves cos keeping it to our selves has caused more damage than good.by saying this you are insinuating clubbing someone to death in the middle of the street is justified and the mistake was the students. I cannot reconcile with this, it's barbaric. Again those of you with these views need to keep them. They are senseless and moronic. Tomorrow we will hear people shouldnt use mobile phones so armed robbers don't kill them. No people should have the freedom in this god given world to roam freely, what shouldnt be happening is people being lynched in the 21st century, THAT is the mistake. Look at the problem where the problem is and stop insinuating rubbish, the problem is we have a barbaric mentality and an uncivilised society. Your thoughts and views on the matter do not help. It shouldnt happen to you or someone close to you before you realise that. |
Everyone's beliefs on this differ. I am going to be my childrens closest friend, because I believe in maintaining a suitable relationship and means of communication with your children. Some don't believe that and instead go for the isolated aggressive parenting route, different strokes for different folk. |
