Health › Re: Naija Guys Why :( by queensmith: 3:08pm On Jun 14, 2012
One of my friends (she's absolutely amazing! the smartest person ever!! anyways . . . ) was telling me yesterday that APD isn't actually targeted for men just for women. If that's true then it's absolutely ridiculous. Men are encouraged to sweat but women aint? How can it be dictated to a woman how her physiology is meant to be like, to top it off we are encouraged to use pore blocking agents which are potentially dangerous to 'fit in' to this category. So we are using products that damage our bodies in the process, while men who sweat and need these products more are allowed to be natural. its a dem shame! But at least i've learnt now, i'm soo used to using APD but i'll stop now, sweating is only natural use deodorants to mask it,take showers daily (2ce if you have the time), avoid greasy skin moisturisers, continue life healthy and happy.

ijebabe: Oh I meant to say she 'probably' loves the guy.
I still stand by my opinion that abortion is not the only way out of this and she should not be influenced solely on what others think.
Having a child is by no means a way out. It's the way in to more problem.

I can't imagine being in this sort of problem, but it seems people seeriously underestimate pregnancy and childbirth. Talkless of parenting, people seem to think it's a walk in the park. And that any old jane and harriet should parade about with a pram. Having a child should be a planned decision between 2 people. You don't have to be incredibly well off (though I prefer people were before they started popping criminals) but you should at least have a peaceful mind, body and wallet. Be in a solid understanding relationship long enough to trust your partner (male or female) and his commitment to the unborn child and know that he'll be a good father (or a good mother).

The op imo is neither here nor there, she doesn't know what she wants, she isn't in a stable relationship, she doesn't seem to have a healthy understanding about herself (the whole god sent me a dude that impregnanted me in a month rubbish) and to top it off her babys father is jobless and penniless. What kind of table are you setiing for the child. Imo it probably takes a greater love for the unborn child to understand that you cannot be a good parent to it and cater for it like a parent should.
She needs to think with her brain, the brain she refused to use when she got herself into this predicament. And the jobless man is busy impregnating women. . . well done to him. How is the op not soo sure he doesn't already have many kids about the gaff?

Crown Prince: I knew it,i knew it...regular abortionist will come here defending the cause of action rather than morality.
Let me tell you all protagonist of the abortion world and new world orders...you are all killers and destroyer of not only destiny but human kind. Seek the way of the Lord and flee from trangessions!
this little rant is not enough, since you are a man (i assume) and you don't have a womb, i suggest you go and adopt 5 orphans for morality sake. To give you enough credit to rant even more. So you can add- I fathered 5 orphans because I am soo moral to the end of your argument.

ijebabe: A lot of good comments already but the one thing that I would like to stress is for the lady not to be worried about what her family and others think. She loves the guy and I'm sure she wants to have the baby regardless of the difficulties she's facing.
Her family might be upset but they will come around eventually when they have time to calm down and think!
Love ke? in 4 months? they've probably been dating for less. #whatslovegottodowithit

Rocktation: But then again, how exactly is giving birth to a child that you're not very sure of being able to cater to its needs, morally acceptable? Someone may remind me of life's intrinsic values now, but is its sustenance not included in those values?
#thatisall

Every child has the right to a decent quality of life. You deny the child that quality when you selfishly give birth to uphold soo called 'moral' values.

Most of the time it's not even about that, women are told what is moral and what is right by men, a woman has every right to do what she pleases with her body, be it carrying a child, giving birth or refusing to do any of it.

Vikin: Hello dear, she is 31yrs. I think she wants the pregnancy. Because at that age, 4months into relationship, you get pregnant and you are asking of what to do?

We ladies know all these tricks.

OP, she knows what to do, if am in her shoes...i keep the baby since am working, i try to support the guy as much as i can.
If you can date him broke and refused to sleep with c0ndom, i think you should be able to cope with the outcome.

scaredy: I dnt knw if my fear is rational bt I'm a virgin n I'm scared stiff of sex.pls wat can I do to get over des fear cos I want to have sex with my guy.I'm so eager to
don't havesex with him until you are ready, you feel this way because he hasn't made you comfortable enough. (i hope you are of age sha? last time i gave advice on sex turns out the girl was 19 lol)
Anyways, it is not by force you have sex especially when you are uncomfortable with it, my (male) friend lost his virginity when he was 20 for the exact same reasons. It's a painful experience and you should make sure the dude is worth your time (or at least good in the bedroom).
Romance › Re: Relationship Dilemma by queensmith: 10:33am On Jun 14, 2012
jay bee: My friend is 31 and dating this guy who met her 4months ago, she was heart broken and out of relationship for over a year and God brought this guy her way who is in madly in love with her and really wants to take it futher in no time but he's restrained with money.

My friend is working and praying that her guy gets a good job as he is hopeful too. but now she's pregnant and confused what to do, should she keep the pregnancy as the guy is not dennying it and telling her not to fret but stay calm while they think of what to do next, though everything falls back to money, or should she do away with the pregnancy and rather take her time to plan with the guy on having a good start? she's bothered about dissapointing her parents and what people will say. please can you help post this for peoples candid answer if they were in her shoes? she asked me and ernestly i don't know what to say.

PS: From an anonymous Nler
she's pregnant for a jobless man she's only known for 4 months? Women really know how to get themselves into sticky situations. . . . . .
Romance › Re: Dumped After Blood Covenant And Abortions by queensmith: 10:30am On Jun 14, 2012
I have been there too...All these fake pregnancy and abortions just to collect money. There was this girl I was dating that tried to do same to me. She was my 1st gf actually. Thank God I had a friend who most guys and girls will call player but who I call a sharp experienced guy and he had told me abt such tricks. So when this girl who I had helped financially in the past tried to take me for a fo,ol. and trick me I called her bluff This my 'player' of a friend once told me that if a girl tells u she's preg and u're not sure. Just tell her she should born the baby. So when my ex gf was haggling me that she's pregnant and she needs 25k for abortion, I told her to give birth to the baby that my mum will take care of it and be happy sef.She stopped talking to me for a while and we quarreled. Later we got together and when I asked her abt the preg, she told me she just discovered she wasn't pregnant again. In short the baby just disappeared. That is the last time I ever trusted her. She jst became a tr.amp to me. I jst f.cked her tilll I got tired and moved on.
Ps: she was the one that always begged for us nt to use protection. So she cn con me later on. Later pple will say men her evil. Women nko?
lol-she will beg you not to use protection? You too will not use it? well done.

so whats gonna happen to the companies implicated in the subsidy scandal? and why did they even bother to trick this man? It doesn't make any sense, are they trying to discredit the panel?
It's unprofessional to indulge in such at a crucial time like this, resources should have been focused on getting to the bottom of things not conjuring up more scandals when other matters remain unresolved.
Nigeria sha, they know how to dramatize things.
