Almansurah:
Hello guys
I have an important question, please help me
I got admission in a school in London, school fee is not an issue but my spouse will be going with me
1. I want to know if the work he will be doing there will be sufficient to take care of our Accomodation, feeding and bills
2. After getting a visa, can we withdraw out of the maintenance fee before arriving in London
Thank you everyone
Please help me answer these questions
PS: There is a plan to get a tier 2 visa after studies which shouldn’t be difficult
I intend to have this postgraduate degree in case I decide to change career line in the future and it is also useful for now
My dear Sister,
1. It depends on the work he will be doing.
2. The money is meant for your stay in London l. Why do you want to withdraw it?
PS: Really? Really??

My question:
What level of education are you going for? First degree? Masters? PhD?

Abeg house let's put mouth for this post...
It's a very important matter...
This immigration lawyers are something else....
This post doesn’t need anyone to ‘put mouth’
This post requires the ‘poster’ to explain how a Student VISA metamorphosed into ‘Working visa’

Before you use a brush to paint immigration lawyers, get the full, true picture of the story first.

@justwise: please can a tier 4 dependant travel alone at a later date where application was submitted together?
Assumption is that;
1. Application was submitted together
2. Visa was granted at same time.
Right?

Cool!
The short answer to your question is yes.
The long answer is: Entry vignettes are only valid for 30 days.

Thanks for your concern.
She went there with student visa initially. When her stay expired she went for another paper and got it, in fact she has been renewing her papers until this last one that happened since two or three years ago. She went as usual to apply for renewal but she was arrested and detained during the time she was in, she lost her job. When she came out she went to court to sue for damages and to get her permanent paper. She has been losing, reappealling and winning just like this till this January when this her present lawyer won the case for her at the appeal court. The total money due to her was over 15,000 pounds and also to give her the papers. She was paying her lawyer every dime.
Her VISA expired (I.e she became an illegal).
She went for another PAPER.

Visa expired then she went for paper?
Biko, can you ask her the name of the paper she went for? Was the paper in lieu of a visa?

In the year 2012/13 my family and my self were denied a tourist visa. After a interview with school, it was raised as an issue for concern... Just want to know if this would count against me now in my new application.... Also would study gaps be a problemhuh A reply would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
To the extend that the tourist visa denial was not based on any criminal or fraudulent reasons, you don’t need to worry.
Just make sure you cross ALL the T’s and fit all the I’s this time around.

Study Gaps:
Will only be a problem if you cannot coherently explain the reason(s) for the gap.

Even me I have a similar problem.
My correct date of birth is 12th March 1990.
But on my original WASSCE cert, it was reduced to 12th March 1994.
They just removed 4 precious years from my age, I want to correct this.

Lol, in that case you want to be "laundering" here. HSBC does give 3.3%APR for anything between £7k and 12k
Yeah.. I get your point.
My point however is:
HSBC will give that to a UK newbie, with No credit History and less than 1 year verifiable UK address?

Till those you micro finance default, then you enter one chance ................
My brother, there will be no one chance.
Even with 50% default rate, I would still be breaking even.
Imagine getting £10,000 loan in the UK at 3% and then ‘laundering’ same to Nigeria, changing to Naira and giving out loans. It’s mad money.

Even though our friend and brother was pissed, the truth is:
Getting £ loans or £ Credit Card cash and zapping it to Nigeria sounds very much like ‘reverse laundering’

Please if anyone sees a bank that gives Loan at 6% (not even 3%), I am interested.
In my own case, I will not want to send to Naija, I would invest here.

The APR on 9ja loans varies between 45 - 55%......... Nah pesin wey carry the water, go tire ..............
If it were easy to simply get a ££££ Loan, at 3%. Then transfer it to Naija where APR is 45-55%
I would not be doing what I’m doing in the UK.
I would have started a fucking mini-MicroFinance Bank back home. Getting a 3% ££ Loan and giving a 25% APR Loan in NGN.

By now, I for don get 30,000,000,000 naira for my akkant.

The main issue is that I doubt youre really helping or just perhaps here to mock.

Also, I didn't come here to place bets on whether it would be given or not. If you think it wouldn't be given at a good rate or now is the wrong time to apply, state that clearly and move on.

You should understand that not everyone would think the way you do. The world is a diverse entity with different perceptions to it.

And now to answer your question, I never stated the exact time I need the money. I only said I had planned to apply after 3 months of arrival. Moreso, I should have been able to raise more than that sum before then. If I get the money it's strictly for purposes of scale and not because I would not be able to do what I had intended to without it.
1. I am not you
2. If I were you.
3. I would get the loan from a Nigerian Bank in (NGN).
3. The £££££ I would be making in the UK, I will be transferring it, to NGN and use it to offset the loan.
4. I would agree that it is ridiculous and absolutely unwise to get a £ Loan, and send to Nigeria, then be paying in ££ (even at 3% interest) - which is NOT possible.

Hello gurus in the house.... Was rejected visa in January (reason... Poor interview)... I plan on applying again for September section... My question is: is it advisable to use priority service after my January rejection?
It is advisable to prepare, and do well in the future interview. Otherwise, even a Super-priority will not help.

By the way, if you have ever had a rejection, it advisable that you choose standard application. Otherwise , you may pay for priority but it will still take a long time, because of your previous rejection.

Makes sense. Id put everything into perspective but might add one more CC just as a backup. I don't envision using past 20% of my CC for my monthly expenses except for perhaps one-off purchases.

I run some stuff back home and I'm still wondering if there's a way I can transfer funds from my CC back home. Not that its something I hope to do always but I do like having access to backup cash just in case something pops up.
Wow! You get mind sha.
You want to:
1. Take a £ Loan, with interest paid in £
2. Change the £ to NGN, and invest in NGN
3. Make profit in NGN, then convert the profits to £ to offset your £ debt.

That Nigerian Investment must surely be an extremely High-yield, Risk-free Investment right?

Please guys, which of the Visa center is better to chose when submitting your document Abuja or Lagos?

And has anyone used the super priority before, does it have any positive effect on your application? @Justwise and other Gurus in the house please I'll glad to hear from you.
Abuja & Lagos are the same. Choose the one closest and most convenient for you.
Superpriority means you get YES or a NO in/around 24 hours after submission.
All applications are treated on their merit.

Hello,

please whats type of visa can you recommend I apply? my intention is to study there but i dont want a situation where I will have to come back immediately after the study years...

am hoping to apply for work visa(Tier 2) but i don't have a job ready for me there and my education level is just secondary school, though I will try to get an agent to make more enquiry, but i thought i should ask you that are already there...

I have a relative there though but we ain't family and I dont want to go through him, atleast he would have spent more than 10years there.. Though if its necessary to go through him and that it will make the approval my visa more considerable, I will surely contact him.

But I need your recommendations and guard, ignoring the cost.

additionaly, can standard visitor be turned to permanent residency after 10years?

Thanks, I will be expecting from you.
The Bolded part refers.
Since cost is not a problem, I assume you have 30 Billion in the account yes?
You can apply to any University. Do your undergraduate. Then immediately go for your Masters (or straight to PhD Depending on your undergrad results).
As soon as you finish those, you could apply for an Entrepreneur Visa.

I hope this helps?

Thanks guys. Please I'm thinking my wife should apply together with the kids while I'll apply after they grant their Visa. Or she she should apply with one kid and I'll apply with the other kid because of the fund. Do u think they can sense any foul play because we are not applying together?
Did she need to do IELTS? Please see the attachment for the cost analysis my brother sent to me, I'm kinda confused
Is ACCA a tier-4 eligible course?
Is it a degree?
I have always it’s a professional certification course.
Maybe I’m wrong?

Child 1: £1,015 x9 = £9,135
Child 2: £1, 015 x9 = £9,135
Husband: £1,015x9 = £9,135

The Total should be kept on your account for at least 28 days.

Then you can apply for the visa for everyone.
