sgtponzihater1: Without a father, a boy is mostly a liability to the society. Research has it that majority of gang members, cultists and vicious killers grew up without a father figure in their lives. It takes Providence, mercy and God's grace for a boy to turn out perfectly when raised singly by a mother. Some single mothers are smart enough to quickly look for a father figure for their children , to try to make up for the deficiency.
Few exceptions abound on both sides though. You now want to divorce a pregnant woman? If she gives birth to a Son. Would this son grow to be what you have painted in this submission? |

But note that gtb charge 0.5%+vat (~£5 fee on £1000) for the transfer since the source of funds is from outside Nigeria. I'm not sure but I heard first bank don't charge a transaction fee (confirm with the bank sha). That means your suggestion to the person on this thread would not work, unless that person has an ‘Aboki’ (whatever that means). It means unless I have an Aboki, like you do. It can’t work. Right? |

Nomad26: Please, can you help me explain how this worked previously for you. You mean you £ from your UK bank (say Halifax for example) into your GTB £ Domicilliary account domiciled in Nigeria. Then you change from £ to Naira (as needed) via black market rate in Nigeria? Are you for real? But you can’t go to a GTB branch in Nigeria and withdraw ££ from your £-denominated Dom Acct can you? My previous experience with £-denominated Dom Acct was that: To fund it, I have had to go to black market l, bought the £ then return to bank and deposit it on the counter. To withdraw £ from the Dom account, the bank would use their CBN rate to convert and give me Naira equivalent. Please can you help me explain how it worked for you previously? |

Can I create a foundation in Nigeria and pay money to it monthly then claim it as an expense to my LLC in the UK?

Although the money was delivered, the amount was different from what Azimo said the person will get. Per Azimo, asides their fees, Swift/Nigerian bank also deducted fees. Are there any other payment channels I can use? Transferwise? |

Help Needed please. Just completed my studies (tier-4 visa). I got a job and they are happy to provide me a CoS.
I have 2 dependants. The big dependant works full time already (on my tier-4 dependant visa).
Am I expected to show any ‘evidence of funds’ when I’m applying for visa for us since we are already in the UK?
Another thing, my love child (whom I left in Nigeria with his mum (I hate to use the term Baby Mama) when I came to the UK as student). If I want to bring him now that ground has levelled. Do I need to show maintenance funds in account?
Thanks as you help me with your suggestions.
Thanks |

moboladek: Hello everyone, thanks for your guidance to those with the dream to migrate to the uk. I want to migrate to the uk soon but need advice on the cheapest areas to live in england with a university within 10 miles of the area because I intend applying for masters while I work. I am a nurse and I have completed the exams I need to write here in Nigeria, I presently need to find an employer. I'm not sure of the effects of brexit which is why I said areas in England. Every advice will be appreciated. Thank you. You mean if you get a job offer in an NHS trust that is 15km away from the nearest University you will reject the offer? If I were you. 1. I would get an employment FIRST. 2. I would migrate to the UK and assume duty. 3. I would begin working as a Nurse in earnest. You may discover that an MSc is the LEAST of your worries. You may discover that working as a nurse, all you require are NVQs and lots of trainings and masters becomes Useless. |

One advantage of a Credit Card is that you get full refunds whenever you make purchases and the company goes bust before you have value for your money. Example: Those who used Debit Cards or Cash to buy Thomas Cook holiday package have ‘entered voicemail’ as we used to say in Naija. However, Those who booked using Credit Cards will have FULL refund of their money. Conclusion: Credit card is definitely a great idea iff (if and only if) one is financially disciplined and doesn’t see the credit balance as ‘free money’ Lexusgs430: A credit card is not compulsory, the problem arises when this so called credit card, becomes a heavy debt card...
The circumstances of the borrower changes and can no longer afford it.....
It might be an unsecured way of borrowing, but that unsecured position, would automatically be converted to a secured position, if you own your property. That debt would simply be charged to your property......
The morale of this story is, if you feel you can manage it judiciously, go for it....... If not run, like fire is burning....
It's called credit card, but i call it a debt card........ It might take you out of tight corner, but that rescue, might become a constricting snake....... |

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-49810261Boris Johnson's decision to suspend Parliament was unlawful, the Supreme Court has ruled. Mr Johnson suspended - or prorogued - Parliament for five weeks earlier this month, saying it was to allow a Queen's Speech to outline his new policies. But the court said it was wrong to stop Parliament carrying out its duties in the run-up to the Brexit deadline on 31 October. Downing Street said it was "currently processing the verdict". 2019: Britain’s Oldest travel company (Thomas Cook) went bust Oldest football club in the world (British) went bust Britain to have its shortest ever prime ministerial term? Hello Guys, Here is my Credit Card-related question: What does total Credit mean? 1. It is an 'unwritten rule' and Best practice to keep spendings to around 30% of total credit yes? 2. If I have two cards: X (credit limit £1000) and Y (Credit Limit £1500). If I use £1000 from card Y, and £0 from card X. Would this amount to me utilizing too much? One thing I am sure is that I will ALWAYS pay every single kobo by the end of the month.
in the example above, when my credit score is being calculated, would it be that I have utilized (1000/1500)*100 = 66.7% of Credit (on card Y) or I have utilized (1000/2500)*100 = 40% of credits available (cards X and Y)?
Help a brother.
I want to build a solid credit history please.. |

10 of us in the office were doing contribution of 100k each. My colleague took her own 1m and went for Hajj and enriched Saudi Arabia. She returned with ‘Gold Tooth’ and had ‘Alhaja’ added to her name. Two weeks later, she was hustling me and asking to borrow 40k as her youngest son has been sent home from school, no school fees.
There is a reward. The reward is that Saudi Arabia and its tourism industry smiles to the bank. Pilgrimage is excursion. |

A have a question.
Principal is applying for tier 2, she is not going with her husband now, he would come later. But she ticked that he would be traveling with her so that should could add his passport number to her application. He would apply in about 3 months time.
Would this affect the application in any way? Or should she tick no? Applicant can actually put in passport details of spouse (or partner) without lying on the application form. The question is what it says it is: Is someone else travelling glwoth you? Yes, or No.... |

LuvlyIva: Jesus! 5M where will I get such money. I rather persuade my wife to come bk so we can remarry than all this money u are taking about. I think remarry is the best from all the advices I have gotten from this wonderful forum.
Many thanks @Justwise I really appreciate all your responses and advice. I have taken noted of them. I will never overstay. I am coming bk soonest. And I will persuade my wife to come bk so that we remarry and get a certificate to apply fresh rather than applying and getting refused. I don't want to be banned. Thank you.
Pls lest I forget do you know if we can do court marriage in our home state? In Imo state. Will home office accept the certificate or we do at Ikeja Lagos? We can't go to Ikoyi BC that is where we did the first one. If home office accept local one I don't mind.
For the self employed are there other documents she needs apart from p60, tax and statement of account.
Thank you There seem to be this devilish lie from the deepest pit of hell that has been brandished so much it now looks like the truth: “Ikoyi Registry” I have never been to Lagos. I have never been to Abuja. My marriage certificate was issued in my LGA HQ. Not even in my state capital ohhh. And it is what I have been using since 19-MungoPark. |
