Many thanks. Please I will appreciate if you can assist me get the list of documents she needs so that we start of the fiancé visa process. I need to join my wife. We are not getting younger.

Yes, my wife lives in single room. It is a single room in a three bedroom apartment. So she occupied one room. We have separate toliet but shared kitchen. Will home office accept the accommodation or we look for other opinion of accommodation?
Good morning brother,
It’s nice you said your wife is reading all the responses here.
1. Why EXACTLY does she not even want to VISIT Nigeria?
2. In all her own applications for ILR, what has she been writing? Single? Married?

You & your wife needs to talk. If she loves you, as much as you Love her. Sit down together and reason like adults.
You return to Nigeria.
She returns a little thereafter.
You go to a registry and get married legally (“again”).
Organise a little ceremony.
She returns to the UK alone.
You guys begin to file for spousal visa.
#Dazzol

In one of your posts, you said travelling to Naija will be too expensive for her. That’s not entirely correct. £1400 is enough for a return ticket for her. The remaining ‘change’ is more than enough for registry marriage, and a little party thereafter.

Don’t make things difficult for yourselves.

Hello good people of nairaland . I am new to this forum, it is through search to my problem I got this forum. I and my wife is confused and in big dilemma right now. We need advice and suggestions what we can do to solve the problem we are in right now. We never knew that this problem will come up like this and never knew that my wife will get idenfite leave this soonest. We lost hope on it. lawyers are charging us alot to solve the problem. (£1400)My wife is based in the UK. In 2013 she came to Nigeria we got married in court and did small traditional marriage .Then my wife spent three weeks bf she left UK and promise to fille spouse visa for me but my wife was refused indenfite leave two times in 2015&2017. I got frustrated staying alone ,so my family was contemplating calling off the marriage bc they need grand kids and me too need to settle down. I was also refused visiting visa twice bf I got married. So I re-applied again for visiting visa this May 2019 through an agent and the agent advice that I put single in the application instead of married. The reason the agent put single is that he said that home office will denied my visa application if I write that my wife stays in the UK and homeoffice will refuse it bc they might think I will not like to come bk again. So I agree to what the agent said, we put single. I got the visiting visa and travel around June. And also I and my wife deceided that I will not come bk bc my wife av been trying to conceive. My wife put in for her papers again, To the glory of God my wife was given Indenfite leave just yesterday .But the problem now is that i wrote I was single in my visiting visa application. Please house can my wife still apply for spouse visa for me using our previous court marriage certificate? Will the visa be denied bc of saying I was single in my visiting visa application? If my wife explain to ECO in cover letter will they give me spouse visa? Should I come back to Nigeria and apply for marriage visa, so that we can remarry again in the UK and then I go bk to Nigeria and the spouse visa will be filled? We spoke to my wife lawyer she said we can apply for spouse visa but need to explain all in cover letter to ECO why I decided to put single in my visiting visa application. Please I need suggestions and advise from the house. I and my wife are in serious dilemma. Please I will appreciate advice to this situation or suggestions on what can be done. Or is there any body that have lied in visa application and apologize and got visa? I really need to be with my wife so that we can start making babes. Thanks you.
I am assuming that in your previous applications which were refused, you wrote “Married”.

Then in the application that was finally granted, you wrote “Single”

Now let me play the devil’s advocate here.

Maybe your ‘Singleness’ was not the reason your visiting visa was granted. Maybe there were other criteria which you didn’t meet in your previous refusals, but met those in the current application.

What if you simply apply for spousal, and pretend that the ‘single ‘ was an honest error?

I don’t have an answer to your dilemma.
I rather had a question in my mind.
If I were you wife, I would be careful, very careful.
A man whose family (and himself too) thinks it’s ok to divorce me sake of say dem wan grand-pikin...wahala dey!

I hope your wife doesn’t follow this thread on Nairaland to see that you & your family had actually contemplated divorcing her because the grand children haven’t arrived yet.

Secondly, (and most importantly), I would like to get a first car. A little thing. Used. Max £800).
I have been looking at Gumtree and Facebook marketplace and recently e-bay. Autotrader seem expensive. I found 1 car auction company in Letchworth, Hertfordshire too.

My Boss cheesy... Who am I to argue with you? England and Scotland both pays same minimum wage for all sectors. But the standard of confortable living you can get with 350pounds in Scotland is worth nothing in England.
No be argument matter.
You are potentially passing wrong information.
Don’t compare apples and lemons.

Are you telling me that £350 in Edinburgh or Glasgow (Scotland) will give me a ‘comfortable’ living than in Hull or Leicester or Bradford or Brighton or Cornwall (England)?

Really?

You know what your ‘problem’ is?
You seem to think that England = London and London = England

Even in your Scotland, £350 in Inverness vs £350 in Glasgow no be mates.

"Extremely slow" Same thing I was told before moving here but the truth is Scotland is more than what most people presume it to be . In Scotland, life is easier and comfortable for raising up kids and having good family with moderate and comfortable lifestyle. London is more expensive and easier to spend life savings for paying bills
STENON:
You are comparing ‘SCOTLAND’ with ‘LONDON’?
Are you for real?

Maybe it’s a good time to remind ourselves:
Country : Scotland & ENGLAND

What you are doing is akin to comparing ABUJA (FCT) with GHANA.

PGDE?
Not sure such exists in the UK.
There are other teaching qualifications, but I’m not sure if your wife can get T4 Visa for those.
you want to ‘switch’ places with wifey after your own has ended. Wifey must pay school fees. Would you have saved enough from your 20 hour per week wages? Or wifey’s permanent night shift job?
Guess what?
Your wife will pay thousands of £££ in school fees.
Your wife will need to show evidence of maintenance funds for herself, and 4 dependants.

If your ‘ulterior motive’ is to use T4 Visa to migrate to the UK, you need to think (10x7X3) Times.

N2,000,000 naira = £4,450 or so.

Yes, your wife can get a job, (earning probably £10 per hour). Working night shifts (because someone has to be home with the young ones).

If your visa is valid for 12 (+4 or +6) months. What happens after that? You move with your entire family of 5 back to Nigeria?

Back to your original issue:
Yes. You can apply for all at the same time. Or you can stagger the applications i.e you go first, settle down a bit then apply for them to join you.

[/b]

There is no need applying for their visa at the same time if you are not traveling with them, you can apply for them when you sort out accommodation.

Though traveling with 4 dependants will cost you about £35k if your school is outside London. That figure does not include £1500.00 Health Surcharge
Plus, none of the sons is old enough to take care of the others. So, either mummy or daddy will always have to be at home (after 5pm).
Or a carer will need to be employed, and paid minimum wage....

£35,000 is small money. Just about NGN 16,000,000.00 only

1. Your travel Document (Passport)
2. Proof of payment of the relevant fees
3. (This is not a Document) but you need to have a UK address. It could be your full school address (including postcode).

Please I sincerely would like to find out something. I have an Msc fully funded scholarship to study in the UK. I want to take my hubby and son along as dependents, however, the scholarship does not cover any of their costs. I have read carefully the instructions on the UK website but am a bit confused about the proof of funds. Should we print a one month bank statement only or is there a number of months one should print? Secondly, what can make them deny my husband and less than one year son visa to come with me?
Congratulations!
1. Proof of funds:
Depending on where your school is located.
Get enough maintenance money for 9 months for EACH of your dependants.
Keep the money in the bank for AT LEAST 28 days straight.
Print the statement of account (for example on day 32).

You are good to go
