So how about this: Matthew is explicit when he says that the disciples are told to go to Galilee since that is where they will meet jesus (28:7). They do so (28:16), and that is where ]esus meets them and gives them his final commands (28:17-20). This is both clear-cut and completely at odds with what happens in Luke. There, the disciples are not told to go to Galilee. The women are informed at the empty tomb, by the two men, that when jesus had earlier been in Galilee, he had announced that he would be raised. Jesus speaks with them and emphatically instructs them not to leave the city until they receive the power of the Spirit, which happens more than forty days later, according to Acts 1-2 (that is, they are not to go to Galilee; 24:49). He leads them right outside Jerusalem, to nearby Bethany, and gives them his last instructions and departs from them (24:50-51). And we learn they did as he commanded: they stayed in the city, worshiping in the temple (24:53). In the book of Acts, written by the same author as the book of Luke, we find out that they stayed in Jerusalem for more than a month, until the day of Pentecost (Acts 1-2).

Question remains, where did the disciples meet Jesus after his resurrection, Galilee or Jerusalem?

In the context of the bible, Galilee actually means Jerusalem. But only the holy spirit can reveal this to you... hehehehehe...

I think the most blatant case of contradiction happens with numbers as with this case.... Did he sit on one donkey or two?? It's not possible that there was one donkey and at the same time two donkeys. Same thing with the case of the mad man or men of gedarenes. One gospels says one, the other says two.... If that's not contradiction, I don't know what is

Forgiveness is in 2 forms

Forgiveness by/from men which brings spiritual/emotional healing in each individual or collectively/

Then there is Gods forgiveness which is tied to the forgiveness of Men and this was why Jesus when he was teaching the Lords prayer said

AND FORGIVE US OUR TRESPASSES AS WE FORGIVE THEM WHO TRESPASS AGAINST US...A trespass is an offence or cause to sin or affliction or persecution)

When we forgive men God forgives us but when we do not then we hold unforgiveness in our heart and this is an evnue through which the devil can use to make us loose out on the promises of God.

Man can forgive sin carried out to him by another man but his forgiveness only justifies the one who forgave and not the recipient because the recipient still has his role to play twofold by seeking forgiveness from the one he offended and also from God who ultimately Justifies him.

So when the bible verse he quoted says, "their sins are forgiven". Their sins are not really forgiven right?? Cool!

Very convenient.... If a serial murderer and rapist gives his life to Jesus two minutes to his death, he balls in heaven for eternity, meanwhile, if a person who dedicates his whole life or resources to humanitarian services doesn't believe in Jesus, all the good deeds are irrelevant, he burns for all eternity...

Very vague prophecies... I think it's because not all last years prophecies came to pass and people noticed... Like the one about STD and the one that says things will improve before the end of the year

I'm not a theologist. But in Genesis when God want to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah Abraham intercede on behalf of the righteous. And he told God what if there are 50 righteous people in the place, will you still destroy it? God said No. Abraham negotiated with God till he got to 10 righteous people.

But when the angel got to Sodom and Gomorrah. He found only one family who were righteous.. .. . Lot and his family. God's discrimination is between those who believe in him and those who don't.

So without Abraham negotiations, god would have destroyed those towns even with the innocent in it... If u think that's fair, then...

When God made convenant With Abraham and told him his descendants will be uncountable as the stars. Do you know it took centuries for the convenant to be fulfilled.

In the morning, as they went along, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots

That doesn't mean that the fig tree didn't wither immediately in Mark's account. Mark only made it known that the disciples saw the action in the morning.

This study basically focused on countries that have significant numbers or percentages of both Christians and atheists.... Different groups but under the same social dynamics. That's the optimum setting for a valid research.... And the research has shown that Christians when considered in the same setting as the irreligious are more likely to be racists

Citing the subject of the topic and what the word "racist" mean, it's obvious that the OP lack meaningful knowledge to make the submissions he made. This is so because both the blacks and whites (people) practices the Christian religion in particular and religion of any kind in general. So, the appropriate word to use should be "discrimination" not racism. Therefore, my former position remain - someone cannot be a racist towards another that share same race with her.

U don't get it... The point is Christians of any race, but most visible in whites, are more likely to see themselves as superior to people of another race...
