You spoke my mind. Surprisingly, children of religious leaders with all the moral values their parents were able to inculcate in them still end up prostituting. The worse that could happen to any parent is when they have a wayward child that never listens. Like you said, it's a matter of choice 'cause even rich kids are also in the business for reasons they know best.
That's where the factor of lack of contentment comes in.

Nice one oga Rapmoney

You forgot to add that the kind of woman you marry determines the kind of daughter you will breed. Some things are hereditary even though you think you've desisted from your ways and that's why some female children emulate their mother's lifestyle when she was still a youth

However, if a woman was very promiscuous or she used to sleep around during her youthful days, it's possible her daughter inherit that same trait when she grows up
Thanks bro! I see you wink

The business of offering sexual pleasures for material things by humans, especially the female folks, has been in existence since a time no one can tell or remember. This profession exist in most part of the globe; even places where people eat, drink, dream and talk religious doctrines. The difference is the rate and modus operandi which are normally dependent on cultural values and socio-economic conditions.

Despite our cultural values we erroneously claim to hold so dearly, certain factors have proven to us that our so much touted cultural values have been beaten and rubbed on the mud like a lazy school boy by these same factors. Below are some factors that have necessitated the increase of prostitution in Nigeria in recent times.

1. POVERTY: The high rate of poverty in Nigeria has forced so many struggling parents to reluctantly neglect the welfare of their children. Let me tell you today, the level of patience in men is higer than that of women. It is easier for a young man to bear hunger and economic deprivation for a period than a young woman. It is even worse in women if such a woman is pretty and naturally endowed. Poverty and prostitution are like bread and akara; they go pari pasu. This has made many young women, both the educated and uneducated, to delve into the 'money for hand, back for fround' job. These days, the average naija babe you meet anywhere is likely to show you some olosho tendencies within minutes. Mechanics no let us know who be craze again; my guy, town dor cast! Country no easy!

2) THE MUSIC INDUSTRY: Most Nigerian songs promote the situation where young women offer sex for material gains. I mean, our music industry is so messed up to the point where these folks that call themselves artistes go to the studio to cook up crappy stuffs as songs with little or no sense! The main focus is usually worshipping the boobs and backside of young women and how they can die for these by spending their money. These are not love songs; we have always been given doses and doses of prostitution music over and over again in Nigeria. Now, what do you expect from young teenage girls who assimilate these songs into their mentality? They see whatever natural feauture they possess as means to obtain material things and offer sex in return.

3) THE OVER-DEPENDENCY MENTALITY OF MOST FEMALES IN OUR SOCIETY: Most girls now prefer to get quick money through this trade by barter that still uses currencies. They'd rather do this than apply their energy to other things that can generate funds. Some girls you call 'small girls' in your neighbourhood are not really 'small girls'. These girls take flight to places like Abuja and Port-Harcourt to bang and lick the navels of money bags over 60!!!

4) PARENTAL IRRESPONSIBILITY: Some parents are nothing but stooges and effigies in the lives of their daughters. They hardly care who she moves with or how she lives. All fathers are men and all mothers, women but not all men are fathers and not all women, mothers. You are raising a call-girl when you don't care how your 19-year old daughter was able to acquire a phone worth 170k and you know she is still dependent on you. You wey be her papa still dey stay zinc house!

5) LACK OF CONTENTMENT: Some young women are never contented with what they have. They are very eager to follow trends. They want to make use of the latest electronic gadgets, have their bank accounts credited often by different men, etc. Even some young women that work and earn steady income still engage in this trade just to keep up with trends.

Except you are married and faithful to your wife, or a celibate or eunuch, let no man boast he does not patronize prostitutes. Your girlfriend who you spend on and she gives you sex is likely a prostitute! That is the defnition of prostitution!

Where Does The Bulk Of Your Income Go? Savings Or Investments?

In the context of this post, savings mean the money a worker keeps aside for himself/herself from his/her salary or income.

Often times, most people, especially low-income earners, struggle to maintain a decent life by saving the bulk of their monthly income. It is not a bad idea to save as savings serve a good purpose of providing resources to solve uncertainties since we live in a world where we are not sure of what tomorrow brings. This goes a long way to show that it is good to save from our income no matter how little it is. On the other hand, we should not forget what is more crucial than saving; that is INVESTMENT!!!

Saving the bulk of your income and neglecting to invest can create financial problems for you in future. Most people who save without investing, sooner than later, discover that they have not been creating wealth in any way but only keeping aside resources to solve problems. If you save without investing, you may never grow financially because you are likely to end up solving problems which of course, are never ending.

Let me share a personal experience here to explain the essence of this post. After my youth service in 2008, I got a job in an organisation where my monthly pay was about 40k. With the aggressiveness in me to save, I was sustaining myself with 10k every month and was saving 30k. I disciplined myself so much. I stayed away from women, alcohol and every other thing that could make me spend unnecessarily. Since I was not paying rent or buying food (I was staying with my elder brother), I was able to save over 1million Naira within 3 years. Now, this was the mistake. I did not invest any part of the money. I rented an apartment, bought some properties and the rest went into paying bills, solving issues and paying for my Masters program. In no time, I had exhausted everything and was finding it difficult to cope; it became a struggle to live decently. That is the problem. If I had invested the money wisely in something worthwhile, it could have created a source of stable income where I would be rest assured that after some time, I could rent an apartment, furnish it and go for my Masters program with my investment still fetching steady income. This could even provide an avenue to diversify investments.

Young graduates still in the early years of their careers or those who recently started work should learn to invest more, especially those who have found themselves in private schools as teachers where the pay is not too big. Save but invest more. In fact, let the main purpose of your saving be for investments and not for solving problems and buying properties. Problems are unending; it is proper investments that will guarantee that you meet these problems comfortably well. Most young graduates do not invest even little. They save little with the hope of getting a better job and in most cases, they end up getting stuck in a job or career for many years where they earn little with no reasonable or real promotion.

As an employer of labour, if a graduate seeks employment from me and I discover that he/she has worked for 15 years, I may not employ you! I will take you to be an extremely visionless fellow! Reason: You should have created an investment in your profession, passion, career or in mine, in which you are seeking employment (if it is different from what you have been doing).

Do not get stuck in a life you do not enjoy living. Invest more today while saving the lesser part of your income to take care of little unforseen stuffs. Do not save completely to solve problems. Once again, they are unending. What separates a struggling man and a comfortable man is that the struggling man struggles to solve problems but the comfortable man solves bigger problems without having empty pockets and red bank accounts.

Personally, I see those who protest or claim to be activist for something as being part of the problem rather than solution. There are other ways one's voice can be heard. #Bring back our girls# frustrated a lot of people but failed to mention dying soldiers and never did any of them go to Sambisa to help return one of the chibok girls. Easy said than done. So if you can't do,shutp up and let those that are trying do rather than insulting and frustrating their effort. They should let police do their jobs for this is not the first time someone is escaping from custody.it happens all round the World.

No. 5 was what I discovered lately and it has earned lots of respect from people I never expected one from.

Some time ago I talk just because I feel like making people laugh and like me for it. In all ramifications that was not real me.

But now I talk only when I want to.
I laugh only when it's funny.
I frown at you when you're wrong no matter the age or class.
And so on.

Now I see people view about me changing for a very responsible young man.
Yeah, I understand perfectly well. People take you how you take yourself.

5 Ways You Make Yourself Easily Used By People

Life has greatly taught me how to be a realist. Through many true-life experiences, I have come to understand that the slightest opportunity you give to most people, enables them to use you, use you and use you over and over again till you become equal to nothing but a filthy rag! They will most likely discard you like an empty sachet when the time comes. All you need to do is to grant them the opportunity to do so and it will be done. Below are 5 ways you make yourself easily used by people:

1) BEING TOO LOYAL TO PEOPLE: It's not generally bad to be loyal to someone but whether one should be loyal or not is clearly relative. What this means is that one should be able to know when to be loyal, when to stop being loyal and who to be loyal to. After my youth service in 2008, I got a job as the personal assistant to a large business owner. At first, my job was purely an administrative one. Gradually, I saw myself carrying out other duties that were not part of my job description because my boss wanted it that way and I made it very easy for him to use me by being 'the loyal one'. I became a driver, an errand boy and even a car washer! It would have been left for me to grind tomatoes for the family's maid or wash the wife's undies. I would leave my house as early as 5:30 am and close late in the night, getting home tired and disorganised! While all these happened, my financial status didn't change but every now and then, the man I was working for was moving his family from Nigeria to different countries and back on lavish vacations. I had to retrace my steps; he was visibly angry but I took a bold stand by confronting him politely with my initial job description as contained in my employment letter. That's what I mean. Give people room by being too loyal and they will use you! Be loyal to only people who add value to your life. Loyalty is like respect, it is earned. It can never be commanded.

2) TRYING TO FIT INTO THE LIFESTYLES OF OTHERS: By doing this, you will only end up subjecting yourself as a slave to the level of people's mentality, no matter how poor their power of rational reasoning may be. Life experiences have taught me that a man with a clear destination doesn't shake hands with everyone he meets on the way. Recognize people whose lifestyles contradict the plans you are trying to make to attain success in life, lest you are consumed and lost. Trying to fit into the lifestyles of others makes you prone to being used and controlled by them. Such people could be your friends, colleagues, girlfriend, boyfriend, etc.

3) TRYING TO PLEASE EVERYONE AROUND YOU: Humans can never be satisfied; it's the gospel truth. Learn not to oblige every request that comes to you. Have you seen a huge failure that will be used over and over again? That's the one who tries to please everyone. There's a common believe among most of us that whoever that's fond of compromising his/her wishes just to please us is our slave. Be generous but know when to draw the line between generosity and pure foolishness. I've grown to a stage where I usually don't give a hoot when people unnecessarily become offended in things that concern my own life.

4) UNDER-PRICING YOURSELF: There's a big difference between confidence and pride. Many of us have allowed simple confidence elude us all because we don't want to be seen as proud. No matter what your situation may be, always show confidence in yourself; I mean, even if all you have in your wardrobe is a pair of sneakers, 2 shirts and a jeans. If you worth 1million inward and you present yourself as one who worths just N5 to the world, people will still price you below that! While some will want you for free, there are even others who want you to pay them while they have your service or offer for free. As a slave is used, so you are in that human relationship where you've underpriced yourself. A goat doesn't need a ladder to climb the roof of a fallen house.

5) LIVING WITH NO STANDARDS OR DISCIPLINE: People tend to respect you more when they know you are disciplined and have standards you have set for yourself. Better to be hated for who you are than be loved for who you are not. If you must compromise standards and discipline, it should be for something that worths it. Have you noticed that kids who are growing up in homes without standards and discipline tend to behave badly? They frequently abuse privileges including their parents because they are much aware of the lapses that exist.

Your life is much more important to you than anyone else. Take the driver's seat in your life today and stop allowing others drive your life for you.

Good morning everyone!
