Etebo should be doing more of that to mix up the game and keep defences guessing. |
Rohr should try some others. The game has stagnated. Two or three players there are clearly underwhelming. He heard me. Unfortunately Kelechi should have walked. |
I rather like Osimen's focus and hunger. Seems to want he ball every forward move. |
Sanusi off for Collins. |
Playing out from the back on this bumpy pitch is suicide. Even bald ol Pep won't approve. |
Etebo goal. Mix up is the Lesotho defence. |
centurionpapa:You are very right. You can get recompense against those under the law for unlawful acts but their targets should be non state actors that are clearly out of the law. At the end of the day it is a game of numbers. And those fighting for self determination need to have the numbers on their side be it protagonists or fence sitters, local or foreign. Just keep it as civil as possible. |
Kelechi play ball na...haba. |
The pitch is making touch soccer impossible. Controlling passes takes an eternity.. |
Osyxcel:Indeed it was not actually offside. |
The midfield is not sharp. Lots of turnovers. |
Troost....hmmm |
Dirty straggler on the pitch. Zero security. |
Osimen goal. |
Osyxcel:Not a quality pitch. They need to compress it anytime the grass is cut. |
Hahahaha...Osimen offside ![]() |
BravoDe:NTA is not ready to go HD. |
Pitch not too good. Etebo with a screamer. Just missed the upright. |
Oyinbo asleep. Giving the ball away in defence. |
CAF should have done better with the jersey approvals. |
fubsy:I almost did not believe it. 419 indeed. Kai. Who did this to us. Quicker movement than in Benin. |
toobusy:Don't mention those failures, vulture feasting on the success of others while their own carrion rots. |
Buy why can't these clubs be owned by the citizens. How much is their salary that the public cannot pay them sef. The whole Bundesliga top to bottom is owned by the supporters. Real Madrid, FC Barcelona are all publicly owned clubs and they pay astronomical wages. Once again, STRUCTURE, STRUCTURE, STRUCTURE is the bane of everything Nigeria. People just want to control things without a passion or desire to act responsibly and make them successful. All the state government needs to do is set up a trust and crowd fund the club, period. They can incentify the private sector with tax breaks to subsidise hotels, air tickets, restaurants, health clubs, etc. Government is just full of blockheads. |
They continue white washing mediocre leadership while all indices of life and living continue to tank. Democracy is supposed to be a results business not a beauty contest where ample make up and last minute props are crafted. So unfortunate the audience cannot decipher illusion from reality. What exactly has this government made better than it met. |
They should be thoroughly investigated and punished appropriately when found guilty. There is self determination, there is armed insurrection and then there is pure criminality. These are not the same and should not be mixed into one by both sides. Self determination is a fundamental right. When it becomes an insurrection the right is vacated for conflict and force/violence should be expected in return. However if these folks go about killing and disarming law enforcement officers this smacks of criminality and even peaceful agitators and ordinary citizens are no longer safe. The people of the south east must decide how they want to play this and tow the side of peaceful agitation. It is cerebral, more effective and will elicit wider sympathy and support beyond borders. Violence will always occur when communication breaks down completely. This must not be allowed to happen on both sides of the divide. |
COMPAQ:Don't mind them. Very soon they will start asking KFC to be paying compensation to Iya Basira. Instead of them delving into the realm of creativity and proper administration they will want to pull others down in order to rise. A bad product is a bad product any day. Ask them whether today's Super Eagles match will be televised live. At least the one they can control and tax advertising to their hearts delight. And by the way as you alluded to. The Prem that is popular today has not always been so. The predecessor to the German Bundesliga was the eye candy when I started watching soccer on tv in the late 70's. Then english club soccer was full of hooligans, barbarity and foul behaviour. But they decided to clean it up, launched the Premier league in 1992, separated the league management from the FA reformed stadia by banning standing, strengthened refereeing, etc. The Nigerian league in the 70's and 80's was a better attraction than the English league. Why was it allowed to deteriorate is a mystery...why it has not been restored properly is a tragedy. |
Oga Lai your national soccer team played in neighboring Benin but you are your beloved NTA could not screen the match where you will have had your monopoly to exploit Guinness and other brands to your hearts delight to raise funds for your so called local content promotions. You are indolent on what you control but want to reap where others sow. Typical of government. Government have been in control of the visual electronic mefia decades before digital sattelite tv entered Nigeria. And we had cable tv long before sattelite tv. Where was government all this while. |
Esseite:Honestly..... just a mess. Sad tale of a wasted decade. |
othermen:Then you open a Pandoras box of endless litigations and a slippery slope of reawarded trophies and withdrawn medals perhaps going back to the 50's. You will certainly need to wake the great Diego Armando Maradona from the grave to 'unpunch' the ball into net that set Argentina on its way to the Mexixo 86 cup. FIFA is not the IOC. They don't do retro. What they can do is to make VAR mandatory for all and develop technology that is affordable to all. |
That is the depth to which we have sunk under this government. Madam, you guys really inspire a lot of confidence in your leadership and competency in handling the question of our time. Then what should Nigerians be saying aboit this sad take thoughtless of foreigners who have left the safety of their countries. Who will have imagined his mess in 2015. |
AnanseK:Well what you can do is to petition your state assembly to ensure not a penny of the brewer"s till comes near your domain in terms of development and statutory obligations. I'm sure the good boozers of the state won't mind a larger slice of the returns. After all it is their livers on the line here. |
Hmmm.... democracy exposes a lot of things sha...oh well perhaps its all about the malt products.... ...What do I know. Never tasted alcohol before. I consider it a hallucinating agent and thus a controlled substance...and thus a threat to human existence. |
