Nna mehnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

We don't need negative comments here.

I went to Ilorin 2days ago and saw a capital city that looks like a village.
It is looking like 'a village' because the people there WILL NOT TALK but attack whoever calls their pet oppressors out.

So it remains counter intuitive for you to stop criticism of the government of Abia concerning Aba and other cities.

Political office holders.the world over receive a steady stream of vitriol. It is the fuel of performance. That is what democracy is all about for those who have truly left colonial autocratic rule behind. They remain servants.

So the applause for Okezie should expire in 24 hours. After that it is back to the hair drier. Let those who love mediocrity continue idolatry.

And will there be a minute silence before every NPFL match this week, probably not. That is the way we treat the real pillars of society and those that have contributed immensely to the few things of value in the nation.

RIP. Great man.

Nigeria is an illicit contractors paradise. A system.whetr government can do nothing for themselves except they give it out on dubious terms.and for ridiculous amounts without a shred of accountability.

No government anywhere in the world is as ripe for robbery and seen as a candy tree like the Nigerian one.

This is the vile system we consistently insist we need to restructure to put an end to this vicious cycle of corruption but one that the owners of Nigeria and pillars of the status quo vigorously defend.

We said it clearly in 2014/15 on this forum (anyone can historically verify that) and without a shred of doubt. That without restructuring there is nothing anyone with any background in the world can do to bring to an end the corruption in Nigeria.

Six years down the line will any honest supporter of this government have imagined these kind of stories today?

Who did you vote for? Won’t you go & meet the Governor of your state?
Is this what you folks said in 2014. Stop shifting the goal post. In 2014, the problem was the PDP today it is nameless, faceless detractors.

In 2014 it was Jonathan Goidluck today it is not Buhari but governors. In 2014 it waa corruption that was the problem today it is Covid that has triggered the second highest unemployment rate on earth.

The persistent excuses being made for this government and its principals is why failure is certain.

Mr. Adesina. You will be out of office together with your principal, Mr Osinbajo as well, ministers and all. With the state of the country now I hope you will take your medicine and relinquish the moral right to criticise any future non performing government.

At your age and with the level of exposure it is unfortunate you choose to be ignorant about how democracy works.

If the ball is a goal the referee wristwatch will vibrate apart from goal technology that is another technology that the ref use in identifying goals. But from my view via the photographer I am seeing here i can say the ball is a goal
No tech assistance in the qualifiers whatsoever. Strange but true. Dunno whether it is because it is a World Cup qualifier and UEFA is not really interested.

Sorry o, the only person thinking backwards is the one who is too emotional without capacity to analyze and evaluate assertions. Did you even understand what I typed Mr 16-bits brain?

Look at the image below, if you draw a straight line down from the outermost right circumferential edge of the ball, it looks like it will still touch the goal line, meaning the whole ball may not have crossed the line. How will the referee give such a goal when it was not completely clear and certain? Please learn to reason objectively for it will take you far. I'll say the same if it was Messi that was in this situation.
The image below is not the final position before the hook clearance. It moves in further than that as seen in countless slow motion analysis since yesterday.

As a matter of fact in super slow motion the defenders boot clearly pushes it a couple of inches further in as he wraps his foot around the ball to clear it.

However I donot blame the officials, VAR has doubtlessly dulled the skills and reflexes of these guys.

I uses ti think Thierey Henry's hand assisted goal that knocked out Scotland (was it) qualifying bid was one of the percussor of VAR all those years back. Now Euro matches are spotlighted once again....UEFA and controversy sha.

Congrats to the winner.
What has OUK brought upon himself?
So unfortunate, that News people proved they can't be shoved around.
With all the intimidation and federal might, the will of the people still prevailed.
But I hope, the winner and the governor will work hard in renewing the hidden good fortunes of Aba.
I doubt that. Folks should be sick and tired of the PDP in Abia state.

All over Nigeria there is little left to prove Nigerians are ready to let go of their sentiment.

Don't agree with evey point but I surely agree that we must put an end to the economy being a Contractors Paradise. There is something so inherently lazy about contracting that removes jobs from the many and places it in the hands of a few. This is particularly so when tjhe few are foreign enterprises.

I do not think there is a global law or global body that will resist the influx of multinational contracting enterprises as this does not constitute global trade. If one does not have the resources and faced with huge deficits in infrastructure, supplies and services and at the same time faced with massive unemployment, it doesn't take a genius to determine where those scare resources should be going and who should benefit.

In Nigeria you are on your own. LOOK AT HOW WE ARE ALL LOOKING FOR WHERE TO WATCH OUR NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM MATCH.

A match that could have easily been aired on NTA on FULL HD
The NTA cannot force itself into the stadium of a foreign country to broadcast it. It has to buy broadcast rights and this was too expensive as I understand. To make it affordable the CAF steps in to claim.the rights and by collecrive bargaining the costs are made affordable.

We will certainly watch them at the Teslim however I doubt if DSTV will be interested or permit their Nigerian partner channels to broadcast it.

It is not mockery but a statement of fact.

Like I used to say in 2014 and 15 as I tell kids and young people. Don't expend your energies on what you cannot sustain nor is relevant for a lifetime.

It was clear from the outset that the capacity for the kind of government sold Nigerians as a changed.and improved variety was just not there because the analysis of Nigeria's challenges was just wrong.to start with.

And if the analysis was wring.the treatment will ne wrong and wvwn the personnel engaged will be wrong.

If you as a citizen said or still thinks the problem of Nigeria is corruption you will be like a doctor who comes across a patient wirh a splitting headache and sends him into surgery when in truth failing eyesight is the cause and an opthalmologist is the expert to handle it, then tour expectations are seriously misplaced.

I knew Mr. Buhari was not the right person for the job and I did warn that nothing fundamental about Nigeria will improve beyond a few roads, bridges and rail lines...because I know what our problems really are and I know Mr. Buhari very well. How he works, his positives and negatives.

And because of all this I did say by 2023 it wil be near impossible to defend the administration.

Today evwn the blind can see that we have a serious capacity challenge in almost every sector. We have a government that does not have intellectual solutions to any national problem and worst of all we cannot rally or round up those who can because they have all been railroaded.

We are all responsible for the mess we find ourselves in today because we made sentimental not factual choices and certainly not cerebral ones. Let us see what changes in 18 months.

Talking from both sides of the mouth. Your article last week gave you out on religious mode betraying your secularism garb. This latest article you have been your thoughts last week on this issue. I am sure you had a rethink after backlash from so many people.

If wearing hijab is a right of muslim woman, then I ask:
1. Why are muslim female VIO officials not wearing yet?
2. Why are muslim female Fire Service officials not wearing yet?
3.Why are muslim female NSDC officials not wearing yet?

In fact, Road Safety, Police, DSS, and all the armed forces formation women, why are they not on hijab?

What is stopping these bigots to change the first chapter of the constitution that states that Nigeria is a secular state.
Oga. All these professions you listed out will soon come under similar cultural pressures in Nigeria. No one needs a crystal ball to determine that.

What we need to begin to do as citizens of this country is to open up channels of negotiations and conflict resolution because as the standard of political governance worsens and society delaminates people will withdraw to religious and cultural fortifications.

If we cannot resolve this very simple challenge by negotiation then this country's unity is certainly under threat.

Oga. The fabric maybe but the CUT is not. You maybe offended because of the effort you put in placing those images but the fashion is not original.

To suit your fragile ego I did admit that a slight modernisation to most cultural practices are always necessary for wider acceptance.

Nothing was worn under the traditional Scottish kilt but few except the naughty will do so today.

As the world coalesces cultures are bound to come under strain by a society that seeks to establish new values. For instance what may be acceptable in all society a thousand years ago will be construed to be public nudity today.

One will certainly not accept his kids in a mall with men and women displaying their privates if he hides his from his kids at home. That is the challenge amogst many that raw culture faces. The debate continues.

People go to malls dressed like this in South Africa, there's nothing wrong, babaric, or primitive about it. This is Africa not Europe
The fabric may be traditional but the cut is certainly not. There is very little cultural about the images you present.

Now, this is where tradition and culture can be made to work to for everyone, mixing certain aspects to make them acceptable in general.
