shotin: . english players are over rated, are u now saying because john stones is value at 50million pounds, he is not an average player... Said from 50 million. Stones is the best of the english at the moment, that's why that ridiculous price. No english club can get quality anything less than 50 million. No english man is worth anything in the champions league. They are just technically deficient. See what Cavani is doing in attack. See what Silva is doing in defence. These are proper internationals capable of delivering, not Arsenal who has just one or two real quality players. Remove Sanchez and Ozil, Arsenal cannot win any trophy ever. |

dotcomnamename: Mustafi is a quality player, it is Wenger's useless tactics & cluelessness affecting the team. He is outdated. Give a good manager Mustafi, Xhaka, Cech, Ozil, you will see top performance. Take this from me. Mustafi is an average player. Those who valued him at 35 even though overpriced due to the Premier League influence knew whst they are doing. 35 is the new english price range of average players. Good players start from 50 above in today's market. Wenger should either get that into his head or retire. |

But see what Cavani is doing at 72 milion. Has Wenger not been turning his nose up at that deal for the last 3 years now. Playing Iwobi in a game with Cavani is an insult. |

Igwe2nero: I don't know what to believe again in this country. But then, Nigerian politics has gone so bad over the past few years. APC might cry wolf but I remember when GEJ visited Chad during his tenure. The then opposition said things that were very unpleasant and unpatriotic especially Elrufai. But then again what if the government was testing the waters, that I can't know .This present Government tire me. Prior to the one year in power celebrations, they brought out two girls n claimed they were part of the missing chibok girls but the social media attack made me realize that Nigerians are no longer smiling. God help us! The wave that rolled out to sea taking the boat has returned to the beach bringing the debris of the ship wreck. No APC member has any right to complain. They are just being served and must eat the bitter pill of rogue propaganda. They had been warned. |

Abugab: The level some Nigerians have taken hate campaign to is unprecedented. They have become so negative minded that sooner this attitude will start ruining their personal lives. There will be so many frustrated people in the coming years who destroyed themselves by themselves.
Sadly, MOST of them are Christians who go to church often and calling on the name of God. They have forgotten the commandment of Christ; love your neighbor as yourself. The APC and its supporters started it. And I warned it will be taken to the next level. Recall my posts of last year and the year before. It was them that merged politics with governance, it was them that twisted facts that are just beginning to unravel now. They started this mess. Recall their unpatriotic vitriol during the dark days of the insurgency. What was their view points about this very Kabiru Sokoto. Said he was a government agent. Said the government was behind his earlier escape and so on. Look my friend. If this nonsense must end it will have to start with the very ones who started it, the propaganda machinery of the APC. I didn't say government or Buhari, I mean the APC machinery. The good thing is that they are overwhelmingly humbled now and are ready to do the right thing. The bad thing is that their online wing remain defiant and so the beat goes on. |

Now we have to fight to bring ourselves out of this mess, and that means that change is far and has eluded us. On a serious note, PMB should have given himself as an EFCC chairman, not the president of the country.
We will get out of this when oil price bounces back, and we will not learn any lesson. Why are soldiers sent to die in the creeks for oil if you even have plans to diversify? When kano is receiving more allocation from oil than the producing states, why would they diversify?
It will dawn on us. We haven't seen the worst yet. Totally agree from para 3. |

It's like Buhari V GEJ half of those who voted for Buhari voted for him not because they beleived in gim but because there was no other choice. If anything happens to her and she is substituted by say Biden or Sanders, then the election is a walkover and Trump loses hands down. So does it make any sense? aresa: 1. Underpass tunnels gets flooded everywhere even in developed and advanced countries with superb engineering skills so what's incompetency got to do with anything?
2. Cars are not supposed to go inside the tunnel when flooded so the driver benefited from his own foolishness and stupidity.
3. The only thing i'll blame the gov. for is not putting some kind of flood warning there telling drivers not to drive through when it rains.
That's a modern American city underpass tunnel flooded..
You people really need to stop being ignorant because of hatred.. What hatred. That is a major road traversing that tunnel with precious few alternatives. It is like making the overpass intersection along Ikorodu road at Maryland, Lagos a tunnel instead, in a state which basically has tropical weather, that is 8 months of rainfall a year and you expect it to work. What kind of stupidity is that. There are many alternative designs that could be used to handle traffic without this kind of disaster. Whoever is in charge has made a serious mockery of himself and wasted public funds. That contraption has no future. In those places you picture, underground drainage comes standard. And if cannot manage a subsurface drainage network you have no business toying with subsurface roadways. It is no hatred. The people are in their right to be incensed, livid, mad with this rubbish. If you know how long it took to build and the disruption and discomfort road users suffered during its construction you will just keep silent. |

HisSexcellency: Strong men dont always get things done in any country, strong institution do. But we need strong people to build these institutions. Strong men come and go, it is these institutions that remains. I Buhari doesnt build or get people to build strong institutions in nigeria, e.g the police, judiciary, military, economic and financial institution. Its just a matter of 4 or 8 years he will be out of office aand everything goes back to chaos. We need to take our minds away that a single individual can save nigeria, its like trying to salt the river by throwing a big of salt into it. Let us build institution that can last many regimes Buhari may have good intentions, so did Gej. But its only strong institutions which also include political parties can aid him succeed You are so absolutely wrong. You do not need strong men to build strong institutions. You need knowledgeable men working in tandem and backed by willing supporters who possess collective values. That's all. We have had enough strong men running Nigeria but they have not found the support of a collective resolve amongst the people they lead to berth institutions because our values are so discordant. A knowledgeable leader then lends to all parties and works out a consensus. Does Buhari appear as one able to hold Nigeria long enough together to allow the glue to set? Don't think so. |

We need to get our acts together, and come back as a family.
This is not looking good. It is not Buhari's fault but that of the APC. They leveraged on him far too much while at the same time eroding the institutions that should ordinarily be shieldijg him right now from the extremities of the harsh situation we face. I said it then and I'm saying again, Nigerians must learn to build institutions and not try to make men institutions. |

It is not a matter of permitting when God was never in charge in the first place. God created the EARTH FOR MAN to HANDLE so what happens here has man behind it. Only man has the authority on earth. It is him that issues the licenses for intervention BY ANY EXTERNAL BODY whether good or bad. It is God's responsibility to provide the tools, the means of well being called Righteousness just as Satan provides the seeds of evil through temptation.
The power to rule God gave to man in the Garden of Eden and man has been making choices good and bad since then and enjoying and suffering the consequences respectively. Man is completely responsible for what happens to himself. |
