In a independent yoruban nation Fashola would be our president. He's the next best thing to Awolowo in terms of action. Only him can get plenty votes across board.
We are however not in an independent yoruba nation. Tinubu and kwankwaso were the best candidates on this ballot based on their CV.

I don't know why igbos are so mad, we all voted who was on the ballot. Getting on the ballot is an individual battle based on strategy and relationships, not by threats and insults. Next time win a ticket of a major party so you get the spread to win the presidency.

You must think ur talking to a fool. Datti bought the jet in September 2022 for the purposes of his campaign and used the jet throughout his campaign. Not his shareholders.

The President-Elect of Nigeria has sent his condolences for the death of the recently deceased iyaloja with the following message on his twitter page:

“I was deeply saddened by the news of the death of Chief Toyin Badmus. She was a principled woman and dogged supporter of our party and my candidacy till we achieved victory in the election.
I was amazed by her energy which she deployed wholly in the struggle for the welfare and progress of market women and traders in the FCT and beyond. She also exhibited the same commitment in her assiduous contributions to the success of our campaign.

Her wise counsel and patriotic posture would be sorely missed ecspecially at this time when we are preparing to take the reins of leadership.

As part of our campaign commitment and in
honour of Mrs Badmus memory, we will ensure that
the traders she loved so much benefit immensely
from friendly policies of our administration that would better their lot.

The Lagos state government is not fighting the courts decision. There was a fight in the union and that’s what caused the caretaker committee to form the Lagos parks and garages. It wasn’t meant to be permanent. Dts what the state said here:

But, counsel for the state government, Adebayo Haroun contended that the government neither violated the law nor dissolved the national body’s operations in the state, but had sought to maintain law and order by creating the ad-hoc committee when violence ensued between the unions.

The counsel for the 5th to the 37th defendants, Taiwo Kupolati (SAN), in his arguments, said Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu had the power to maintain peace in the land.

“There was a crisis and the governor exercised his authority as the Chief Security Officer of the state and put up a committee to be in charge of garages for peace to reign.”

All these would have been avoided if everyone listened to Awolowo before the formation of this country.
He saw all the problems ahead. He talked about confederacy, secession, even the calling of Lagos no man's land by the NCNC.
It was the igbos NCNC dt fought him against secession because of greed. Azikiwe manipulated the NPC (northern party) against Awolowo and labelled him a tribalist, just to be president of the United Nigeria. Igbos hailed him. See how his presidency ended. Backstabbed his northern partners because he didn't have enough control. Igbos later got azikiwes unitary dream through ironsis declaration. He then later backstabbed his Biafra people after they lost.

Azikiwe was the first villain in the Nigerian story. And Awolowo was the target of their first propaganda.

Dts not how it works. In the court of law, if ur suing, the onus of proof is on you. You have to prove there was rigging. You must be specific. They took INEC to court.
