Blackfire:I think anti corruption ambassadors should treat issues without fear or favour. SILENCE IS SYNONYMOUS WITH LACK OF INTEREST OR CONCERN! ANYWAY I AM NOT IN THE POSITION TO SPEAK FOR OSUN WORKERS OR PEOPLE. NO CONDITION IS PERMANENT. |
temitemi1:Whenever a person is pushed to the wall he will react. The workers tried all the months of no pay, bearing it with the government but they are only reacting when the situation gets harder and about to be taking their lives. IT IS THE RIGHT TIME FOR WELL-MEANING PERSONALITIES TO COME OUT AND HELP THE STATE OUT OF THE MESS. I THINK BEN BRUCE IS RIGHT WITH HIS DECISION TO SUPPORT OSUN WORKERS. |
Before Ben Bruce leads the rich by example, Aregbe should have divided his gains so far from Osun Stste and given out 50% to alleviate sufferings of the State's workers. Ben Bruce is living true to his campaign promises. He stated times without number before he was sworn in that he would commit his office to meeting needs of the needy. Maybe the governor was shocked when the man started with Osun State. He should have supported the man and call on others to raise his hope and strengthen his weakness which he seems to be hiding. |
Gone were the days! |
we welcome all process and procedure aim to reduce corruption and hasten development |
nice one. He shouldn't let the Chinese hijack the technology from him and modify it further to internationally acceptable standard and add it to made-in-China products. We have been clamouring for development of home based technologies. |
They were together, then parted way and later come together to agree and disagree again. These politicians are after their interest. |
Probably President Buhari should relocate to Maiduguri, people are fed up with the senseless killing of the innocent and gradual destruction of the North. |
The danger of the present perilous times as described in the Bible. May God continue to save those living for Him and doing His work from the enemies as roaring lions looking for who to devour. RIP the dead. |
barry40:If this comes from the federal government, I think those concerned including President Buhari must have done the calculation very well before coming out to say it is/can be possible. The reckless spendings at various corridors of power might have been calculated to do the magic. Just let's hope they will do and sustain it for at least four years, if not they will all be another set of liars. |
omitade01:Loan collected from one bank to offset similar loan from another bank? Now wonder! The State is being managed on huge debt which all people, even those unborn will be squeezed to pay. |
Seem the role of opposition in the salary saga is just too much for Aregbe to bear. The pressure has just been so much the only option now is to rally round and get financial assistance from somewhere else. |
For how long these terrorists will continue their acts of wickedness and shame? We thought they would stop terrorist activities immediately Buhari was sworn in but it seems there hasn't been any positive development. The whole region may have disturbed her peace for years ahead except all people of the zone rise against behaviours and practices that encourage terrorism. More importantly the string which seems to connect Islam with terrorism must be broken. If not it will take God's grace to end the violence in those northern States. |
bushdoc9919:Now that he has been entrusted with serious national assignment, he must do the job more diligently and ensure all people, parts and regions are carried along for good development. Wishing him huge success in the new office. |
eagleeye2:Meaning Buhari may not end fulani/boko haram insurgency in the country. His kinsmen have been causing serious threats to mutual coexistence, peace and unity of Nigeria. People in the troubled areas could have slept with their eyes closed if Fulanis are not spotted among them. I wonder why the Fulanis could have made shedding of blood their hobby. May God continue to save those who haven't fallen victims of their violence and tragedy. |
otr1:Ok Sorry You meant between the rapture and the REIGN of ANTICHRIST and then the second coming to establish millennium reign on earth before the final judgment of Satan and creation of new earth and heaven for establishment of God's eternal kingdom. Sorry It is all about one love in christ! All coworkers in the vineyard are blessed. |
Christ-Focused Living Living for Christ doesn't mean all will be smooth. There would be challenges to test faith and show the level of our maturity as Christians and commitment to the ministry. It will always be difficult to live a faithful life because: Satan is still in the world; many are hostile to Christian faith, and we are struggling with self-serving desires. All these are threats to Christian faith. Philippians 1:21 - For to me to live is Christ, to die is gain. We have the followings for discussion: Remain Committed to Christ; Maintain Confidence in Christ's Word; Faithfully Serve Christ. Remain Committed to Christ: Jesus foretold the life events that would be the order of last days and the signs that would accompany his second coming. He talked about the difficult times ahead for the Church. False teachers and preachers will rise and spread wrong information that will weaken faith and cause many to reject the gospel. He also foretold disastrous things that would be increasing by the days and betrayal by those trusted (Matthew 24:1-12). Persecution should be seen as normal to Christian life; Christ experienced it while on earth. Trials and persecution should strengthen Christian faith (John 15:18-19; Peter 4:12-14). All we need do is to remain faithful and rest our hope fully in God. Satan knows great benefits await those who overcome the world. Thus he makes it so difficult to succeed in living for God. While his threats to faith continues Christians are encouraged to keep their allegiance to Christ and maintain their stand for God. There is no crown without the Cross, great cost is attached to eternal gains. Satan brings persecution to destroy Christian faith but God uses it to strengthen faith and purify those who belong to Him. We just have to trust and obey God, He will not forsake us nor allow what will destroy our testimonies as His children (Hebrews 13:5; 1 Corinthians 10:13. It is required that Christians don't look back or deny faith (Luke 9:62). God doesn't promise the life that will be a bed of roses. There will be pains and problems, but we shall have hope in God. Maintain Confidence in Christ: Jesus warned concerning the false prophets whose activities will be to distort teachings of the scripture by mixing error with the truth. Many will be victims of their false claims, and with demonic powers they shall perform signs and wonders. If they have their ways they would convince those chosen by God and cause them to fall (Matthew 24:23-28). Christians will not fall to false claim and deception if they firmly hold onto God's word (2 Corinthians 11:13-15; I Timothy 4:1-2; 2 Timothy 4:1-4). Jesus warned that we should not believe those staying at specified locations and claiming to be Christ. His second coming will be followed by visible lightning that all will see. Beware of false teaching and deception at places of worship. False preachers seek to satisfy selfish desires and distract believer's attention from the kingdom building. Jesus also foretold what will come after the tribulation of "those days" and the signs of his second coming (Matthew 24:29-35). Even during and after the destruction of the time of his coming, one thing is certain, Jesus said, "Heaven and earth will pass away, but my word shall not pass away" (verse 35). We must receive God's word and hold fast to His promises. As His word is truth (John 17:17), His promises will also come true. Faithfully serve Christ: Christ will return at the time and day known to God only. Jesus gave the signs of end-time, but as regards the exact time he is calling God's people to watch and be prepared. Obedience and readiness is required to escape destruction that will be similar to the experience of the Noah's day (Matthew 24:36-44). The wicked will not escape with their evils. God will bring all things to judgement. He desires that all people are saved, but those who reject His love and follow their own selfish ways will be condemned. All people will one day stand before God and each will give an account of how he or she spent his or her life. Christ has given the warning about his second coming, so there will be no excuse for unpreparedness. As a responsible steward Jesus illustrated the need to always be prepared for the master's return (Matthew 24:45-51). Anytime the master returns he will like hear good accounts of the work assigned to the stewards. He will reward the faithful and conscientious steward while the cruel and unfaithful steward will be punished. Christ's parable here passes a message that his return will be at an unexpected time. He wouldn't want us to be found wanting when giving the accounts of our lives. Therefore we must love God wholeheartedly and be faithful all times. To God be the glory. Lesson texts: Matthew 24:1-51. |
otr1:It looks lke a very long epistle that I couldn't just read once because I am constrained presently, but if the whole content is meant to strengthen faith no problem! |
Chinaimporter Count yourself as being fortunate to have heard the gospel and learnt one or two things about Christianity. Now, you don't have any excuse again. You sre entitled to your choice and opinion. If you like you can believe you are better than animal or not; you can believe in God or disbelieve Him. You can choose how you want live in the coming life. If you like choose God, if you like choose Satan. The choice is yours. |
otr1 Are you preaching the gospel or denying it, Or are you confused? If you are confused, just put yourself in the position of Saul. He thought he was doing good for being an enemy of the Church. But the day he received the light into his life, his contradiction against the "LIVING WORD" was brought to an end, and he could no longer be opposed to God or get confused about the truth of Gospel. I will recommend Paul's example of life before and after knowing and understanding gospel. |
tobyemmanuel:Christ has fully described roles of antichrist in churches and societies. There shall be many false teachers and prophets who Satan will give his power to perform miracles and show signs; they will also twist God's word and confuse many. THEIR INFLUENCE CAN BE SO STRONG THAT MANY WILL BE DECEIVED AND CAUSED TO DENY FAITH AND REJECT GOD. Matt 24 describe their action and influence. The Op might be one of them. |
Souls are perishing in this lost world. MAY GOD UPHOLD THOSE WHO KNOW HIM, DOING HIS WILL AND HOPING TO BE WITH HIM IN HIS HEAVENLY KINGDOM, WHERE THERE IS NO PLACE FOR ALL UNCLEANINGNESS AND UNRIGHTEOUSNESS. |
For how long will this Fulani tribe continues to live as thorn in the flesh of other Nigerians? Thier activities so far are directed towards destruction of Nigeria. They derive pleasure livng as parasites. In all our communities they cause more harm than good. |
Lie! Lie! Lie! We can't be deceived, only time will tell for those following their tricks to discover the stated amounts wouldn't last them for a Month if not 2 or 3 weeks. |
It's like Kwara is not owing her workers... if so those States being ruled by boastful and arrogant governors should go and learn from the State... How to be humble, skillful and achieve without making noise. |
While the politicians have access to state's funds their workers couldn't be paid. THERE IS GOD O. Most workers have managed and managed to live among all odds, when there is no way to manage again they can stage violent protest any moment. Buhari should not wait until such time. He must make the State governments vomit what politicians swallowed during the last campaign or help them out financially. |
bedfordng:thnx |
Almighty God stop future occurrence of this kind fatal accident and untimely death. May her gentle soul rest in peace. |
Tightguy:The States should face the reality and plan on what they have instead of boasting on what is not realistic and fail in the end. That is what affected Aregbe. |
