abouzaid:Is that real? That apc faithfuls who are mainly northern youths are moving from place to place, threatening to engage people in violence if election results don't favour them. And that people of South are leaving the North in large number, because post elections crisis is being perceived. I am tired of this country that has made election a do or die txn |
These parties should help the situation naah and improve lives of ordinary citizens. They should pls stop sponsoring, defending and at the same time blackmailing the terrorist groups. We have seen enough bloodshed of the innocent and cant afford to tolerate it any longer. APC and terrorism... hands are not clean PDP and terrorism... hearts are dirty. Ordinary citizens... pray for freedom and peace |
He was said to have moved to Potiskum from the state capital, Damaturu, three years ago andWhy I will always blame the North for condoning wickedness and making wicked people to thrive among them? Many people would have seen the young man and his friends with the evil deeds and decided to cover them. |
BokoHaramm:you are right the road has claimed many lives in the history of road transport in Southwest in particular and Nigeria in general. There you will see a person plying the road the first become emotional disturbed and apprehended at the scene of serious accidents. Gone were the days when the road recorded at least one -three accidents per day. This made me remember when Ladokites turned to bricklayers, they moulded blocks and prepared concrete which they used to construct very thick barricade in front of the school. They used almost a trailer of Dangote cement which had earlier caused serious accident. They were very determined and for the whole day no vehicle, including those of government and entourage could pass through. Government and military officials were blocked from having their ways through. It was so serious that information got to Aso Rock, that prompted Baba Iyabo to respond in student language. Not only that, I thought it was that action that initiated expansion of the road by OBJ government. It is a pity that the road has not been completed since then. The government should complete the work on time, the road should not return to death trap again. |
All I know is it is about the time for those going through difficult time on matters of certificates to find justice. Let's hope for the best. |
The ongoing certificate scandal reminds us of the saying, if you dig pit for your enemy, don't make it deep because you don't know who will fall into it. Who knows whether those who were dismissed from public and civil services in some States years back based on controversial certificate issues are about to pursue their abrupt dismissal to reasonable conclusion. We keep watching and waiting as events unfold. |
Atiku, the Presidential hopeful of the year... has been going up and down of the political sphere. By now he would have gathered much more experience needed to transform Nigeria. He just need to support whoever emerges as the President whilst he plans for his turn. |
Those devils are always in the news. With the gallant soldiers fighting them, their end is not far away. This year by God's grace will mark their end. I wonder why our retired but never tired soldiers have reneged in their pledges sometimes ago that they would pick up their uniforms to fight and finish boko haram. |
gone were the days... should I say happy married life to Gowon? Yeah not too late inasmuch the family still exists and continues in love. |
theogabriel:How realistic is this glo subscription? Is it still available or closed? |
Mekateka:We know Nigeria is a country overwhelmed with political maneuvering, propaganda and deceit. Some people are just too desperate, they can say anything to implicate anybody at any time. MAY GOD OPEN THE DOOR OF HELL TO ALL UNREPENTANT ENEMIES OF PROGRESS, PEACE AND DEVELOPMENT OF NIGERIA. Very soon all enemies of peace shall be a thing of the past. |
sbaks:We know Christians and the minority tribes of the North are always at the receiving end of religious and socio cultural violence identified with the major tribes of Northern States. |
sbaks:May God save this country. Occurrences and behaviors of some people of the North reveal why determination of North for expected development is sceptical. |
Gej or Gmb anyone of them that means evil for Nigeria will the Almighty God deny the grace and honour of being the next president. According to the prayer, God will open the gate of hell to unrepentant enemies of peace, progress and development of this country. The enemies must be out for good people to serve God with ease and enjoy their freedom without fear and molestation. |
After how many wives? This kind of behaviors among the rich, influential and powerful people of the society may not offer our society any good. If the girls/younger ladies are going for old men like this what will then be available for young and aspiring men? |
God's Covenant with Abraham God called Abraham and made covenant with him. His covenant is about blessing and redemption of people. The covenant was fulfilled in Jesus Christ, the One God sent to reveal His way, righteousness, love and salvation to the world. God makes those who share in Abraham faith and believe in Christ the heirs of His kingdom. Galatians 3:29 - And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to His promise. We have the followings for discussion: God calls Abraham into Covenant; God Reaffirms the Covenant; God fulfils the Covenant. God calls Abraham into Covenant: Abraham was seventy five (75) years old when God called him to move from his home town to a place He would give him as a possession. God's plan was to make people know and serve Him for redemption of their lives. Abraham responded by faith and set out for the physical and spiritual journey to receive the blessing. Abraham obedience caused him to loose the comfort of living with family and friends and move to an unknown place (Genesis 12:1-3). His willingness to step out in faith and obedience was a matter of trust and submission to receive the blessing beyond imagination. Abram embarked on the journey of faith to land God wanted to give him. He was directed towards the land of canaan where he was to be settled for the promise (Genesis 12:1-4). God Reaffirms the Covenant: Ten years after Abraham started the Journey of faith God reaffirmed his promise that a great nation would emerge from his seed. He had thought of adopting one of his servants to fill position of heir after he had waited for long without having a child, but God reassured him of seed of Sarah's womb (Genesis 15:1-6). Abraham believed in God for the promise, he committed his life in God's hand and built personal confidence in Him, this made him to be a righteous man. While he was expecting the child of promise, he began to question God about when and how to have the promised child at his advanced age, but God's answer was 'wait'. God can answer prayers in three different ways: yes, no and wait. Finally Abraham was led to the promised land, the land already occupied by nations that didn't know God, but which had to be claimed for God's purpose (Genesis 15:7,18-21). God Fulfilled Covenant: God didn't break His covenant with Abraham even though Abraham and his wife Sarah disappointed Him when they planned to have a child through Hagar, their House Maid. Hagar gave birth to Ishmael, but the boy wasn't the covenant child. When Abraham was ninety nine years and his wife, Sarah was eighty nine years God affirmed his promise that Sarah would bear the covenant child. That time Abraham repented of unbelief and strengthened his trust in God. Thereafter God changed his name from Abram "exalted father" to Abraham "father of a multitude", and at the age of ninety his wife gave birth to Isaac. God's promise to Abraham has the ultimate fulfilment in Jesus Christ. Through Christ believers are made the seed of Abraham and heirs of God, not only through physical, but also through spiritual means (Galatians 3:6-9, 16&29). By faith Abraham believed and trusted God for the seed of his bowel that would be for redemption of mankind. The "One Seed" that brings God's blessing to all people is Jesus Christ. He reconciled people to God and thought them God's way. Those who belong to Christ are partakers of the eternal blessing God promised descendants of Abraham. To God be the glory. That forensic work is quite revealing, but does it have meaning to politicians who are thirsty and hungry for power? With the ongoing and unsettled controversy on Gen Buhari statement of result/certificate one will wonder how he will cope with issues of moral standing and justice if finally he becomes the president. Will he be able to put records straight without drowning merits in the murky water of politics? The current happenings go beyond who and who among the contestants of political posts as we are preparing to elect new leaders. It is more about the present and future generations. Before you know what is happening something people are taking for granted would have been on for a suicide mission |
montel:capsule ke? Make sure you get it from the hospital and burry it. That's the simplest way of handling it. |

The rating is good but should boost Nigerian interests for good development and massive industrialisation. Having started somewhere the country must progress and make the best available for all. I think Jonathan should also receive a credit for this |
It's like the spirits of our brothers and sisters mercilessly killed during 2011 post elections violence in the North, which erupted as a result of unguarded statements made by certain presidential aspirant have started fighting back. How can buhari, and others resist the pressure and douse the tension? |
... and the show continues. We are watching and patiently waiting for the outcomes, now that our politicians are doing what they know how to do best... empty promises, lies, false declaration, character assassination, campaign of calumny and lots to win elections. From all indications, some prominent politicians are found wanting one way or the order, and may not be qualified to rule the country. |
Mcowubaba:Not only the administration, people's attitudes and cooperation have crucial roles to play. What if the government is committed to doing good and the people are committed to doing otherwise. If Government is finding a way for the citizens to develop, people must cooperate. Likewise, if government is fighting evil the society must cooperate. |
Mcowubaba:under whose administration? stop hate and face reality if you want your country to develop and progress |
Why are some people going after the school's principal? Whether they like it or not he must do his official work. Good job shall be rewarded but shady deals will have repercussions. |
AreaFada2:People should make use of available opportunity to develop instead of counting on reasons to fail. Obj provided GSM, one way or the other the society has managed to develop through that. President Jonathan has even created more opportunities for greater development, but sentiment is killing spirits of many and they couldn't go the way of benefits |
We should thank President Jonathan for given Nigeria industries for her economic development, wealth creation and poverty alleviation. If the previous administrations were serious as the man is serious and determined, our country would have been far better place to live and develop. We should appreciate his programs and policies aimed at diversifying our economy against difficult situation the country is facing presently. For so long Nigerian has depended on oil without doing much on other sources which could have provided strong substitute for the falling oil. |
Some are saying the result was forged, some are saying it wasn't. Which one do we believe now? The nation's judiciary should do the proper investigation and let us know the truth. Failure to do this might result in serous consequences if it is later discovered that Nigerians are fooled. Corruption can't be fought successfully if the system is built on falsehood. I think for clarity the said statement of result must be true duplicate of the original copy of that year of examination. |
very good to have the required certificate, but why taking so long before they found it? With this the controversial issues on Buhari certificate can be laid to rest, except forgery is detected in it |
ravgach:I am afraid if buhari wins presidential election without certificate or forged certificate, merits will just be discarded and academic qualifications will be something of little or no importance. The society should get ready for widespread injustice in civil and public service. |
For the inec adhoc staff screening exercise the applicants around me are receiving text messages to come for screening with the original and photocopies of their certificates. Failure to do so means disqualification, even though they are registered online and got their slips printed and submitted. Don't say I tell you this secret oh. |
