Northern pastors why are you negotiating your calling for N3000, N5000, N50000 and more with Politicians? Are the political arenas the kingdom you are working for? |
Kennywills7:Everyone should by now open his or her eyes very well and vote his or her conscience. Sometimes ago governor Amaechi alleged that some pastors collected money from PDP, now it is from Buhari and APC. Haba! Greedy politicians are dragging pastors into politics for want of votes. Have they forgotten Christ's instruction that they can't serve God and mammon, they should stand firmly and choose who they want to listen to and serve, God or politicians. These politicians are out to use them and in the end invalidate their mandates. |
May God give Nigerian army victory over the enemies within and outside the country. All forces of saboteurs shall soon be destroyed |
Toktee:Any attempt to build strong and healthier nation on the long run should not be scuttled by personal ambition of anyone. Though nothing good comes easily, government should thread softly so that the present level of poverty is not increased |
BlueMagic2:you mean nothing can work? probably many things could have worked if oil money has not blocked our sense of reasoning and the need to prepare for a tough time like this. Supposing all oil wells suddenly dry up nobody will help our clueless mindsets to start picking ideas from various sources. |
meshacha1:so it is now fierce struggle btw APC - Change and PDP - Transformation. All policies that will make the country move forward are welcome. I think implementation of some packages of report of national conference will also contribute enormously to progress and development we are clamouring for. |
Eonuegbu1:infinix xero na hao mu¢$? |
I am thinking of rooting my phone and maximize its functions, but my fear... the phone may be spoiled. |
nice one. |

It is very true that truth is bitter. Tell us when people of dubious characters become saints. ki won ye fi breadi ko wa lobe je mo... |
All these politicians with their tricks and 24 hrs struggles to be relevant always. Now that OBJ and the likes have suddenly become saints... Their struggles are mainly about who controls oil blocks from 2017. |
Solange3:born again for what? Good or bad? The man is not in his right sense? Maybe he has been initiated to secret association. |
zaedd:majority of the membership of boko haram are from Northern Nigeria, and majority of Nigerian army are Northerners, therefore sabotage might have been the most limiting factor. |
Fulani herdsmen and boko haram have the same poisonous blood running in their veins. Anywhere they go they kill and destroy. |
hmmm... How many members do those beasts have? Cameroon, Niger, Nigerian and Chad... all kill them in hundreds, they are not yet finished. That is the problem of giving birth to bastard. They will never live as normal human beings. The North is now battling alimajiris who have successfully transformed to boko haram. |
omenka:you people are of dubious character! so freedom of press is now an offense. let the press continue their good work. our happiness is in their ability to say the truth Without fear or favour in their reports. both Jonathan and Buhari are aspiring leaders who need our votes, but before that time we must know their strengths and weaknesses. The press must be bold to state and raise issues for general discussion and public awareness. I have noticed for some times that when an issue that question Buhari's personality is being raised someone like you and few others will try to close the chapter. With the freedom of press all deeds... past and present should be exposed. They must keep us abreast of happenings in pdp and apc camps. |
Nice tips. I read it sometimes ago that if a phone often gets too hot while being used, it is better to place the back on ice block for few minutes. I don't know how effective the practice is. |
Change2015:Government should be about fair play and seeing what is good for goose also flowing to gander. It's about equity and justice. Pls don't mind what I deleted from you post.... until it has meaning to all... |
tonychristopher:They will just discuss and drag issues until both parties are tired out, and later the Crisis will be swept under the carpet. While the Fulani can pursue the case with one or two heads of cattle the farmer may have nothing remaining in the farm aside what the household will consume for the season. |
@ op, getting to know about all that you must be a good and understanding wife, the joy of a good husband. Anyway you teach both young women and men who are preparing to live together as husbands and wives good lessons which they should understand to keep the relationship working. Love, understanding and supporting each other are very crucial for success of a family life. I like young woman with reasonable approaches to complex issues that require sense of maturity to deal with. |
Change2015:see your response, so to you fair play is irrelevant. Why are you wasting your time shouting CHANGE if justice and equity are not meant for all. |
Change2015:when did that happen? Or may I ask when exactly government was trapped to be sponsoring pilgrimage in Nigeria? We might not know the time probably we were not born, but this time around we must rise to set the government free from religious bondage. |
mickeymimi:Just as I have argued times without number, religion is personal decision to serve whoever or whatever is believed as the Creator and Redeemer. I wouldn't know why public funds should be wasted on personal projects. If it is the constitution that allows doing so, such constitution is deficient and needs urgent amendment. |
Change2015:What I am trying to explain is, whether pilgrimage is part of faith or not, should it be responsibility of government to sponsor it? of evangelism is part of my faith as Christian, and pilgrimage is part of your faith as Moslems and both need money to be relevant as the key pillars of faith. Now is the government sponsoring evangelism (Christian spiritual pillar) the way Moslem journey to Saudi Arabia is being sponsored? If justice can't be done between the two, the government should better stop being partial. We have successfully done evangelism without demanding from the government, we have expected government to spend such money on public needs, which is still part of evangelism. Maybe State's budget should be prepared henceforth to finance 1 Evangelism and 2 Moslem pilgrimage, with equal amount every year. |
nifton:Don't worry God is in control. You can run for your dear life if you see danger coming ahead. |
Funjosh:Can't understand you. You mean they should not pass out at the expiration of NYSC year? I wish someone well and very good job on getting back home. Some may wish for extension of Service time but the real challenge will always be there... Labour market. |
Change2015:THAT'S WHY SPONSORSHIP OF PILGRIMS TO ISRAEL AND MECCA SHOULD NOT BE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE GOVERNMENT. ASKING FOR WHO STARTED CHRISTIAN PILGRIMAGE IS THE SAME AS ASKING WHO STARTED MUSLIM PILGRIMAGE. THE ONLY WAY GOVERNMENT SHOULD COMMIT MONEY TO SPIRITUAL NEEDS OF PEOPLE IS THROUGH EDUCATION ON RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES, and by securing peaceful environment that accommodates right to worship and express one's religious views. |
panch001:Majority of the people are tax payers, let's the government begin to sponsor all people on pilgrimage you will see within few years GDP will reduce to nothing. Using the public money to sponsor pilgrims is like robbing Peter to pay Paul. Those nations are wealthier and influential than Nigeria, still we impoverish ourselves to make them richer. Pilgrimage and Tourism should be in the same category and must not be sponsored by government except for official reason, and with minimum cost. How many of the Northern States, even others can survive the sponsorship purely on internally generated revenue? |
LRNZH: mavinc4u:Our constitution should be free of religious bias that promotes bigotry. Sponsoring of pilgrimage to either Israel or Saudi Arabia should be stopped. The millions of Naira being wasted on the exercise could have been used to strengthen economy and provide jobs for the youths. Also, the constitution should not promote sharia while other religious laws are disregarded. Allowing that will never guarantee a stable country of our dream. Those saying Jonathan is destroying the country with religion are not truthful. So he shouldn't expose the injustice and seek for correction. Both Christians and Muslims of the North make the States and contribute to State's treasury for economic development. Why should the government be partial on the needs of all? |
lastpage:Those herdsmen are increasingly waxing stronger in strength with their mass exodus from the North and relocation to the south, esp southwest. From Oke Ogun to Ibarapa they have destroyed farmers' farms and killed members of their families. As the wicked action continues, people and the government appear to be clueless. Here they are wasting lives and destroying agric based economy, many people are not concerned. In the villages farmers are suffering, people in the cities are occupied with politics. Whether it is good to play with lives of people for selfish political interest? This is serious issue. We should stop playing politics oh. |
smokeyupu:May God deliver you people and reward your patient and turn your sufferings to joy soonest. We are aware of your plights in the hands of those who want to deny your rights and chase you out of your father's land. As you have stated... BLESSED ARE YOU FOR ENDURING THE PERSECUTION. Very soon your enemies shall be trampled and crushed in victory under your feet. |
They say the report is propaganda and you people take it so serious. Come on, let's discuss new thing. |
