Today’s topic is ‘This you can know’. While the world might be troubled with problems of uncertainty Children of God should know the truth about God and remain confident in the truth about Him as revealed in the Bible. His truth builds and sustains us spiritually to discern the spirits: to know the Spirit of truth which is of God, and to identify the spirits that found and spread erroneous belief which are of the devil.
For us to know what is true in the spiritually polluted environment we find ourselves, we need to test the spirits through spiritual discernment that is available to a believer that allows God’s spirit to guide him. We should recognize how lovingly God is to us and show love to others. We should also know that our love of God will be tested on our love of others.

Believe not every spirit, but tests the spirits. You should know that the devil sends many false prophets to the world and he puts his spirits in them to deceive many people and turn them against the plan of God for salvation. Such are the spirits that cause confusion and chaos, such are the spirits of anti-Christ, 1 John 4: 2-3

The work of the spirit of God is to enable us filter the truth from lies in this world where systems within the society are increasingly getting opposed to God: people have taken to false hood and hold opinions with little or no accountability. In a situation like this only people borne of God and who allow the word of God to stay in their hearts can overcome the world and its false teachings. Learn and choose to follow the truth about God or else you will be overtaken by erroneous believe and surrender to the devil.

Response by faith to God’s word is the basics for drawing closer to the Spirit of truth and staying to love God as He wants us to. He first loves us and He wants us to love others if we are truly prepared to abide in Him as his children 1 John 4; 7-11. This kind of love for others involves action, giving oneself for the benefits of others, as demonstrated by Jesus.

God in His love to us sent His only begotten son into the world, for us to live through him and acquire the right knowledge to live as His children .God offered His only begotten son to be the appropriation for our sins. Thus Jesus is the mediator a sinner needs to see God and be like Him. Previous lesson makes us understand that a believer that sees God will be like He is. If we have been living to see God, His love must have been perfect in us. How can we achieve this? Our lives should show that we love others and ensure that Spirit of God dwells in us.
If you hate your brother you cannot expect God’s spirit to dwell in you, likewise if you take to killing fellow human being you are in no way abiding in God. You must remember the sacrificial love of Christ that brings you into a right relationship with God. Show that love to others who might have never experienced God’s love. His love drives out fear and fills us with peace. Emulate the loving character of God and demonstrate love to others, Matthew22:35-39. Lesson text 1 John 4:1-21

All states should come up with solid laws against these Fulani herdsmen and wanderers. It has bn trouble and distruction every where they go. They have done more harms to the farmers every community they settle down. On my own account about them, they are threat to peace and stability of any community that welcomes and allows them to settle down for their parasitic activities. They willingly rear their animals to graze on crops of their hosting communities. Any attempt by the farmers to react will be met with violence by these herdsmen. They carry dangerous weapons and charms all along to engage farmers after destroying their farms. This has often resulted in loss of lives and incomes of the farmers. We have discussed the conflicts at local level and issues passed to the state for intervention but it seems the government expects the worse to come before taking the necessary action. Presently these herdsmen and their families are moving in large number to relocate in the southern parts esp in the Southwest. I think we should not fold our hands and be helpless about barbaric life styles of these Fulanis. Their excesses should be curbed on time before the unexpected sets in.

From all indications, going by his public statements of recent, many have discovered that Buhari has exposed himself beyond a confusing state of camouflage and hypocrisy. Let me tell you, the reason so many Christians pass through all these things is because they don't know who is their real enemy. Christianity is a supernatural life living in the natural and NOT a natural life. CAN President should understand this and know how to approach matters. Buhari is just a human, Boko Haram members are just humans. They are not our real enemies. Our real enemy is the devil and his demons. And you don't defeat them with mere words and physical battles. The Bible says: "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places". This is what Buhari and Boko Haram represents -they are agents of the devil. They are possessed souls of the devil. The devil use them at will to make things happen natural in the land but this happenings are not natural my people. They are highly spiritually orchestrated of which manifestations must be in the natural or physical. This is what the Church should know my people. But so sad, only few have an understanding of this reality. So as Christians, what should we do at this time? Change things also in the spiritual to affect the physical because if they is no change in the spiritual, you can never have result in the physical. This is what makes Christianity a supernatural life. We can't make any tangible change in the physical. Life itself is spiritual. No Christian can produce any result without understanding spirituality. Why? Because the devil is a spirit being and he is our greatest enemy NOT humans. LR was a threat. It looked as if they were trying to monopolize the internet money market. US controls more than 80% of the internet. US doesn't want to loose a vital market. It could as well affect the money exchange rates across the world.

So I ask again, if they (US & costa-rica) knew the man was doing money laundering via the internet, why didn't they temporarily close the site way back then and bring the man in to answer to the money laundering charges.

Today’s topic is ‘Grow Intentionally. For us to be fit for God’s service our intention must be clearly defined and straight to the task. When good intention defines our goals, then our lives as Christians become purposeful. God has given us ability and placed His blessings upon it for us to live a purposeful life. From the topic it means everything counts either in favour or against us depending on our wishes and the will power to get them achieved. From the Biblical context our intention should be towards unfailing pursuit of the kingdom of God. Jesus made His intention clearly known to the world that He must accomplish the will of His father in heaven. How do we do this as children of God?

All we need is to live a life that is committed to the God’s plan for our lives. God’s plan for our lives can be fulfilled through our spiritual growth and commitment to doing His will. We are made to understand that spiritual growth begins at salvation, the time a believer comes to, and continues a new life after confession and forgiveness of sin. Christian new life reveals putting to death the old nature and hoping for the glorious resurrection to a new life. This change of life is symbolized by water baptism: immersion that symbolizes death to sin and the rising up that represents resurrection to new life. It is by holy living that we can grow spiritually. If you believe that Christ has set you free to become a child of God, you must pursue holy living and sustain yourself by it. As you pursue this make sure you yield your life to God and live righteously. As we walk intentionally we should walk purposely to achieve the spiritual maturity.

We should not relent in our efforts to grow spiritually because the moment we relax, the enemy will come to draw us back from our relationship with God. If Apostle Paul could say, as spiritual as he was, that he had not arrived, how much more shall the struggle be for us to attain spiritual perfection. What we need is our daily pressing towards spiritual growth, which we shall get when we allow the spiritual driving force in our lives, when we do not allow past failures to hinder our spiritual growth and when we have full consciousness of where spiritual growth leads to.
There are examples for us to follow. First is Jesus who was patient in pursuing the God’s will and endured all difficulties until He was rewarded by our father in heaven. James makes us know that we should be submissive in our relationship with God, and never to give chance for the devil. Also, daily seeking the presence of God and humbling ourselves before Him draw us close to Him to grow spiritually.

Submission to God and respecting others are valuable attributes we must possess to grow spiritually. Lacking this will hinder our relationship with God and obstruct our spiritual growth. Apostle Peter also urges us to be patient and humble in growth process that in due time God shall exalt us. There will always be challenges but we should place them in God’s hand. We should resist the devil that will come with his plan for eternal destruction and difficulty to spiritual growth. This we shall overcome by diligently and intentionally pursuing spiritual growth. Wise decision from the man of God. Learn to say less about politically motivated and exciting issues in the society but at the same time pray very much over it. God is expecting him to be successful in the basic work 'gospel of truth and love of God' that He has placed in pastor's hand. Therefore he is expected to do much in God's vineyard: meeting people, preaching to them, bringing them to repentance, training and nurturing them in the way of God, making them to grow in sound doctrine so that living a godly life always and consciousness of heaven shall be the priority. To achieve all these he needs to pray very much. As our Lord Jesus would say 'I must do the work of my father in heaven during the day', night is coming that many people might not be reached. Pastors, while it is during the day, God expects you to do much of His work. All the dirty issues are in the dark of any society, it requires intervention with needed attention and caution. Much attention to it from man of God is much prayer over it, with sincere prayer God will definitely do the work.

Why could a religion lead followers to contradiction and confusion? The gospel truth of the messages of the cross by Jesus never leads believers to confusion. While on earth Christ endured and bore suffering and condemnation on behave of sinners, yet without any fault found in him. Jesus walked onwater, caste out demon spirits, raised his own self from the dead, and finally rose to heaven in front of many witnesses. The abilityto confirm one's oral proclamation with supernatural acts is what sets the genuine apart from the counterfeit (The Quran Unveiled, page 216).
The so-called "Prophet" of Islam lived an extremely sinful life of raping, plundering and murdering for profit. His entire purpose for the Qur'an (Koran) was simply to increase his personal self esteem, attain superior status, and for maintaining discipline and cohesion within his robber band. An Apostle of God must be a good and righteous man as Jesus was and Muhammad was not.

I may not know what they are really out to achieve but I do know for sure they do not represent Islam. Rather, they are acting contrary to it's most sublime teachings: peaceful advocacy.
Of course, Islam strongly disapproves of corruption and incapable leadership!

I want to believe this comparison sounds to be true, and the faithful out there make it real than ordinary statements. And this can be possible if the percentage of the faithful that approves of this is well over 70%, the minimum requirement for a fair claim to be indisputable as regards religious issues. From the Christian point of view Jesus did not leave any message to justify any act of wickedness among the believers ,and also to non believers. He even encouraged us to treat unbelievers with more respect and show great kindness for them to read in us that our heavenly father is plentiful in grace and mercy. Invariably, believers in large number should rise up to condemn any form of evil in the society without playing politics with it for everyone to live in peace.
