bibe: I am truly bewildered at the depth of your ignorance. You are just justifying insensitivity of these operators may be you are part of them. why others cannot do what Airtel does? Not using BlackBerry.net for apn, yet they make bis plans available for non bb users. It is an excuse for further exploitation to say it is thru blackberry.net they would make cheap browsing available. I am not blackberry fan so I don't need its apn on my phone to get it connected. Others too shd use their apn settings for cheap browsing we want. |

bibe: Unless I'm in a different dimension, when has the price of data in nigeria been cheaper than it is right now?Yeah if am correct Mtn started it early this year with cheaper browsing at #1500 for 3gb then unlimited followed the glo at #400 for 700mb and #1400 for 3gb before they suddenly stopped it. It is only the Airtel that has been consistent with moderate bis plan over the time. Factors of the environment can deal some blows to some biz really but at the same time it is to the advantage of some others. I just discovered that environmental impulse should be a plus to telecoms cos there is no amount of it can keep the mouth shut. If no any other thing is done people will still communicate meaning the market is ever ready no matter the environmental dictates. It is these companies that need to brace up to meet whatever challenges that might come. We need the companies that are prepared to deliver cheaper data bundles. |
bibe: I will not make further comment on this thread after this, as some of you have refused to do a lil research or at least try to comprehend anything I've said. The telecom market in this country is vigorous with opportunity for increasing production and active sales. When the price was low and bearable many people opted in for internet service, and I believe the internet service providers too made more sales at profits. The moment the price was raised people began to move out and look for the best alternatives. Now from your analysis it would be good for a reasonable company to loose competitive power from high patronage to poor demand as a result of harsh relationships with the customers? If the company is sincere it would be making efforts to keep the customers by giving incentives and improving on the service. I think the bigger the consumers the bigger the sales and profits should be, and the profits for improvements for greater sales. If these tele companies are getting higher sales in Nigeria and could not not improve on quality service at reduced price it means they are not really in for serious biz. Their intention is just to make more money and leave the system in a mess. If they are now complaining of higher traffic than they could cope with, they shouldn't have dreamed spreading out of Lagos where many of them started. They should have considered the market potential for the needed expansion and other provisions while still sustaining affordable prices. All I want from them is cheaper and affordable data bundles. |
McLuhan: Even with this shocking litany of murderous attacks staged in their very backyards by the terrorist group Boko Haram, the northern governors have not deemed it fit to pay a "solidarity visit" to the people of the affected communities so as to appreciate the dangers faced by these people and by the JTF that works to protect the people. But they were quick to travel hundreds of kilometres to visit Amaechi in Rivers State to commiserate with him over the purported "insecurity and threat to democracy" posed by five members of the Rivers State House of Assembly. To my knowledge, none of these governors has deigned to utter a categorical denunciation of Boko Haram and its activities. Yet they claim to be fighting for democracy! A bunch of grubby hypocrites, worse than scum! One day this charade will come to an end and scoundrels like the one who calls himself "Chief Servant of Niger State" will be exposed for the frauds that they are.I am also of your opinion that instead of those govs aligning with Amaechi for selfish gains from their self-induced conflicts at the expense of stable and healthy economy Nigerians want this time around, they can do better if they can all march down to those boko-troubled states and iron out issues with those they really know as sponsors of the bh menace, for the sake of peace and security. |
Wonderful, interesting, May the Lord see her through. My Prayer: you will be part of the wonderfully and fearful created people that live to testify to wonders and beauty of the creation. You are made whole IJN Amen |
There shdn‘t be any space and place for these wicked beings. The track of their evils is already following them. The blood of the innocent they shed is already crying for revenge. The swords by which they kill are already hunting them. So they want to destroy others while they run to secure their lives where there is peace. Definitely this can not be possible. People here should be aware that these devils are dwelling in the wrath of Almighty God and anybody willing to support or harbour them is preparing to partake in the judgement awaiting them. Look out for them, flush them out, make all the necessary efforts to get them arrested and face the full weight of law of the land. Please don't because of political greed or religious fraud get a cover for them. They are devils and shd be treated as such. Kudos to the Army for the achievements. |
Their resolves for not making bearable and affordable data plans available for smartphone users will definitely make them loose some bucks. Since I joined Airtel and put my data monitor on I discovered that for 7 days I have not used 2% of the data allocated to me. With this it means I may not even use more than 15% of the 2gb exclusively on my aos phone. I know many smartphone users will fall to category similar to this, I think it is only Airtel that has worked this out and discovered that it pays to make their BIS plans available for smartphones. While Airtel enjoy bigger market from this Mtn and Glo should be beaten to their restriction. If Airtel should be all-the-way they must not compromise on this affordable data plan I currently enjoy after moving away from Mtn and Glo. They also need to improve on the quality and availability of internet service over wider coverage. |
Today‘s topic is ‘Victorious over Opposition‘ Anyone that claims victory must have overcome obstacles. In continuation of the leadership style of Nehemiah this lesson reveals that a person doing God‘s work must rely on Him to overcome opposition. We should look to God for strength against persistent opposition and determine that what He has helped us to start should not be abandoned. When we live with godly characters and depend on God as believers we will be empowered to overcome forces contrary to His plans for our success. Christians must understand the motives of enemies: they are opposed to progress and success. Likewise we must understand their strategies so as to know how to face them. We must also understand the spiritual nature of problems posed by enemies. When we understand all these we will know that divine power is needed for victory. The messages in Ephesians 6:10-18 and 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 open our understanding to the spiritual nature of problem and what we need to prevail over it. We must know that God has power over supernatural forces of enemies and able to give us victory over them. Fear is the greatest weapons being used by Satan to weaken and render Christians ineffective esp when we focus on impending dangers rather than God‘s power to protect. We should not forget that God is all powerful and has control over all circumstances. His word (2 Timothy 1:7) sustains believer‘s boldness over fear. Christians should response to enemies‘ threat by faith knowing that God who made victory possible in the past is more than able to do so in the future. Nehemiah fully trusted God that he made a statement that dissolved fear. Neh 6:11. He demonstrated a great leadership faith in God. Likewise when we put faith in action we shall be of tremendous inspiration to others. With faith and determination, and continuing in the will of God esp under difficult circumstances we shall be successful. God will be glorified and allow testimonies of his faithfulness to be seen by non believers so that they might be brought to His salvation. At difficult circumstances we need perseverance, without this success could be reversed and advance for total success becomes impossible. Believers are to persevere when faced with opposition. It is vital for spiritual growth and confidence in God‘s power to overcome spiritual opposition. Lesson text Nehemiah 6 thru 7 : 2 , Phillippians 1 27-30 |

Today‘s topic is ‘ Dealing with Problems in Relationship. We are still learning about Nehemiah‘s concern for freedom of his people from internal and external oppression. He made them understand that injustices from their countrymen constituted greatly to their hardships, and this was as a result of their unhealthy relationships. Instead of pooling resources together and getting mobilized against external influences that troubled them, the rich were taking advantage of the poor. They charged high interest on money borrowed by their brethren to the extent that the brethren were forced to live wretched lives. In our societies some leaders would not see the hardship and poverty of others as a result of their own failures even if it is a product their actions. Instead they view struggles of others as opportunities to enrich themselves. People that blame others on their predicament are more often motivated by pride instead of showing compassion and humility. Nehemiah was greatly angered about the the oppression of poor people and he called the wealthy people to stop charging the poor usury which was against Mosaic laws because the action further complicated the problems of already impoverished people. The action made the rich to take undue advantage of the poor and that was a great sin against the law of God. As people of God we are to admit our sinful conditions and repent of sins in order to be made right with God. Nehemaih was able to identify and correct the injustice because he walked in the fear of God. He made his people know that injustices kept them from enjoy God‘s grace. If we must fully enjoy God‘s grace we should do away with injustice and submit ourselves to him. We must determine to do things right, prepare to take responsibility and walk in the fear of God. Nehemiah showed example of a good leader that healed damaged relationships by correcting injustices among his people. Also he let them know that they were expected to put divine blessings ahead of personal gains. Nehemiah set example of godly leader. To be a godly leader, a Christian occupying leadership position must practise Jesus description of a servant leader(Mark 19 42-45), a leader must not see leadership as an opportunity to amass wealth, but rather as an opportunity to fulfil God‘s purpose. He must see position of authority as a grace to identify and honestly provide for the needs of people, esp those of low status. Just as Nehemiah did we must be motivated by good intentions in actions we take. We must fear God and show respect for others, knowing that we shall be accountable to God. We must show love and compassion for others so as not to add to burdens they might have carried already. Finally we must not expect rewards for all good things we are doing from people. We must believe God for the best rewards. People respect leaders who show good example, who do not see themselves as better than people they serve, and those who practise what they preach. pls do driod VPN and geaproxy work on unrooted tablet? |
First it was Glo but now it is the MTN that has cheated all of their BIS subscribers by suddenly stopping BIS data subscriptions on smartphones. They first deceived us by luring us into their BIS plans at bearable prices. While many of us were just beginning to enjoy the data subscribed for, MTN suddenly stopped us from using what we paid for. Do they think they can be cheating us like that? Mine subscription suddenly stopped without using one-tenth of the service I paid for. Still they think raking several millions of Naira from us by fraud such as this is the best way to make it Nigeria. If the NCC can not come to our rescue I think concerned individuals should be able to fight this injustice and safeguard their rights. We shouldn‘t be denied easy access to internet service at convenient times and at and affordable prices. I know Nigerian will always find a way to make something work even when people that are entrusted with proper operation of a system are handicapped. pls what is the way to affordable data service in Nigeria? |
After long years in detention of Al- Mustapha over the glaring murder case against him he was exonerated with the case dissolved. Not only that, the rousing welcome back home he enjoyed from common people and dignitaries tells something: he was being waited for to come back home and live his life to enjoy full benefits of human rights. Again not only that, some people have started working that he would recover all he had missed with full entitlements. Now could you wish operation recover all for Erastus Akingbola, the founder and former Chief Executive of defunct Intercontinental Bank. why and why not? |
what really is the cause of amaechi‘s problem? |
Today’s topic is ‘Seize Opportunities to Serve God’. From the account of Nehemiah we learned that man lives within opportunities but success depends on preparations towards achieving it. This man considered the plight of his people and he looked up to God for help in the difficult situation. He wanted the restoration of his people and the troubled city. Therefore he took up the challenge of interceding for his people and the city from the foreign land he was serving the king. Three things came up from his concern for the people: he felt for his people; he trusted God for possibility of converting opportunity he had to help his people and rebuild the city; and he acted promptly when he was endowed with the grace. God knows about situations His people are passing through and He is ready to help them out if they sincerely rely upon Him. He wants people to trust and remain spiritually strengthened to enjoy His blessings. Nehemiah was seriously concerned about plight of his people. Though he was not responsible for their problem he realized the needs to seek divine intervention on their behalf for restoration and rebuilding of their city. He did not see himself as being comfortable in the foreign land to the point of forgetting about welfare of his people and country. He was man of great faith, he trusted that God would help him in every step he took. As a cup bearer for the king in the foreign land Nehemiah took time to pray and fast on behalf of his people for God to provide opportunity to share his feelings with the king. God touched the heart of the king that it was him that request Nehemiah to present his petitions. The king listened to him and granted all his heart desires for his peoples’ needs. It is learnt here that when you are placed to occupy a position it is for a reason. You must see it as opportunity for purposeful cause. When you have good intentions in a position you occupy as a believer and you desire to do God’s will He will make a way for you. From Nehemiah example, it was not only his request that was granted he was favoured in several other ways. This shows that when we trust in God for good intention and allow Him to do His work His response will cover other good things we do not even imagine. Some Christians find it difficult to depend on God and build confidence to achieve success because they are impatient, not waiting for God’s time. Christians must not underestimate God’s ability to perform great things. Christians must also realize that all worthy things are realizable by divine power and not human ability and strength. Christians must develop well-prepared plan and in the process of executing things we must be prepared for challenges. Nehemiah came across some challenges but his responses to them made him a good leader. He believed in prayer and thoughtful planning, and he was man of action. If we want to succeed as Christians with the available opportunities we must trust God and act in faith to do what He puts on our hearts. Lesson texts Nehemiah 1&2. |
