I am mindful of what could turn out to rescue these people from self inflicted destruction and regret they have exposed themselves and their children to and possibility of saving their souls from more harms. I am mindful of them for integration to normal and better life of which their leaders have either denied or failed them. You are talking of shedding innocent blood! I wouldn‘t expect you to join those who are being condemned if you can not beat them. I know it pains you the blood of the innocent they have shed but you should know that such magnitude of offence can not go without being punished by God, that is reason the Bible says vengeance is of God. Gradually it is getting to saying congratulations cos at last Nigeria can beat the devil. May God strengthen good people on good mission.

There are many areas of online biz. As you are interested in online wealth you need to identify fields of online investment and training needs to enable you start with anyone of the businesses, if not, a quick rush into it may result in a regrettable exit. There is no benefit in self destruction. Everyone knows that there is nothing as sweet as peace and stability for any nation to progress. At last if these guys choose to embrace peace it is a welcome development. It is what everyone wants. Going by the way of the Bible, we should learn and press it on ourselves to be our brothers‘ keeper. Everyone should have been fed up by unnecessary tension and hatred. Instead of grudge and contempt we should be United and remain focused on a common front to work together and make the project Nigeria a reality and success. God bless Nigeria.

Some people are just personalizing issue here, thinking it‘s their opinion that will have its way. Instead of transferring aggression why cann‘t you hold to your shell. People are already in their right sense, They know better and clearer than boys that are here soiling the nobility of their tribe. Nobody has any right to speak for all. Those boys that tarnish the good image and identity of their tribes are just showing that they exist and shouldn‘t be thinned out. With the increasing abusive activities they signal one thing - they are on their own.
Christianity Etc › Re: Tithes, Offerings And First Fruits - Do They Apply To Us As Christians? by Rexyl(m):
There are good contributions here and it is very good to discuss any matter, doctrinal or non doctrinal that bothers the minds for the sake of striking out the truth for majority of people to hold on to. God even wants people to behave this way when He lovely addressed people thus “come now, and let us reason together, said the Lord“... As Jesus righly said he had not come to destroy the law and the work of the prophets but rather to fulfil it and consolidate on the revelations given to the prophets. First we Christians know that the fulfillment of the law was evident in the way he gave clear definitions of offence that warrants judgement. He made us realize that when it comes to doing justly nobody should place himself as a master, he emphasizes the need to allow for a level playing ground, hence when he said, you that is in a position to judge first observe the log of wood blocking your eyes before you judge others for specs in their eyes. By his atoning sacrifice the former laws that involved sacrifices were renewed by his precious blood, therefore no more bothering one‘s mind on needs for living in the way of old covenant that Jesus has renewed for us so that we are not burdened again. Also, Jesus summarised all the laws which were above six hundred in the old testament to only Two which are very simple to remember and practise for a person that is up to fulfil all the laws.

Jesus was not taking the laws one by one to replace it with the best alternative but he made us realize that if a person offended in one of the laws he offended in all. We should be very careful not to short change the ordinances of God to suite our comfort. Remember that when it came to giving for the course of gospel, Jesus Commended the old woman and revealed that her offerings was greater than those with bigger offerings because she parted with that very little she had, that is, what everyone in his sense will believe to do harm when they are thinking of subsequent desires or needs. This means a meaningful sacrificial offering that is product or reward of our Labour counts meaningfully to God.

While some arguments yield a point, we must be very careful not to use our freedom to deviate from the command of God. Many people argued here that the new testament was silent on tithing and as such they could avoid it. Hear me a decision like this is a way to self destruction. That the new testament was silent about a law doesn‘t mean it is not embedded in the renewed laws given by Christ. If God should Mark sin nobody would stand but God‘s words are still fulfilling in our life. God is slow to anger, He is gracious and merciful towards those who are faithful unto Him (Jonah 4:2). As a Christian turn right attitude to the followings and take them seriously they are the basis of your faith: giving and tithing, prayer and fasting, and evangelism for from these your work and labour of love shall be tried.

Christianity Etc › Re: Sunday School Lessons: What Do You Gain To Share With Others? by Rexyl(op):
Praise the Lord. Today‘s lesson is on Death and Resurrection of Jesus which sustains Christians‘ victory over the devil and hope of everlasting life.

The death and resurrection of Jesus gives us the victory we need over sin and the devil that makes man to fall to sin. Jesus was fully obedient to God, it was through him the will of father in heaven was perfectly done. He did what prophets or messengers sent by God to minister to people could not do, and that was complete obedience to the command of God. He obeyed God and did His work diligently rather than obeying the disobedient servants, the priest and the scribes who were questioning His authority as the Messiah that God had sent. Despite all the hindrance posed by people who would not want the will of father to be done, Jesus would always reply them that the will of the father in heaven should be done. He was the only one in whom there was no fault.

What made Christianity is the resurrected savior, it is what makes victory available for the children of God. The Bible makes us to understand that death came over to all men as a result of disobedience of the fisrt man - Adam. But as a result of obedience of Christ in His atoning sacrifice and death man shall regain life. This time around we refrence the spiritual life over physical and spiritual death. The victory bought by the precious blood of Christ will work for only people that are in Him. The Bible accounts that children of God will one day swallow up death in victory. And to this 1 Corinthians 15:55 says O death, where is thy sting? O grave where is thy victory? People that will have confidence to say this are those sharing in Christ‘s victory. People who shall have put off the corruptible and put on incorruption are the people to be risen for immortality and glorified with Christ to everlasting.

As the Bible describe this “ if man be in Christ He is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things become new“. To be in Christ is to put on his image and live by His example in thought, action and love to others. If truly a person is in Christ he will be successful in everything as He was successful and when he shall die he shall be victorious over death as Jesus and get the joy of everlasting life. Christ stated this while on earth that He brought eternal life and He brings it more abundantly - John 10:10. Halleluyah.

Christianity Etc › Re: Good Friday: A Day Of Celebration Or Mourning by Rexyl(m):
The day of mourning right, when one considers magnitude of torture and bruises aimed to snuff out life from someone. Though the people doing it may feel nothing within their body system the person to whom it is being done will know it is a devastation seeking an end to life. This is the moment of loneliness, suffering and devastation that Jesus faced unto death. One could have asked why the savior could have been so helpless to save himself. He did it to fulfil the plan of the father to serve as the true link to cement the breached relationship between God and man and bring it back to life again. The former and abolished covenant of restoring people back unto God was by shedding the blood of animals. That was not acceptable to God because people in their wisdom thought once they had sinned, even sin of shedding blood of the innocent and taking life out of them, it would only take one or two rams from them to seek forgiveness and mercy of God to continue their lives. This was an abomination and a plan for more evils that God has rejected.

God was faithful to His covenant and promise to mankind that He will send a messiah that people would look up to for their sins to be forgiven and get their relationship renewed with God. God gave revelations by His prophets in the Bible about what the Messiah would be in terms of suffering to share feelings of human suffering and that is reason why Jesus related with all category of people to find their needs and give them what is mostly needed without doing harm to anyone.

On His Blood, it is what God requires to establish the new covenant in which salvation of human soul is priority. “Behold the blood of the lamb that taketh away the sins of the world“. The death of Jesus is a global sacrifice and His blood establishes a renewed relationship with God after fulfilling the removal of sins.

His death on the cross is sorrow to all believers but His resurrection brings joy and hope for everlasting life. His resurrection is the secret of victory that the world needs over the devil. The devil will always come up with the plan to thwart the plan of God but victory is towards the cross. Remember it is the BLOOD of Jesus that cried for mercy whilst those on contrary missions cried for veageance. May God in His mercy thru His Son save a soul with this mission.

Christianity Etc › Re: Sunday School Lessons: What Do You Gain To Share With Others? by Rexyl(op): 4:50pm On Mar 28, 2013
Last Sunday I was away from my base for official assignment. I did not know that the work will extend over the weekend that I might have taken my Bible and the daily guide to the scriptures along but all the same I tried to manage on my phone for the words of God. This alternative can only be endured but not that sustainable. As I have made a decision within me that no matter the circumstance I find myself I must be available for knowledge of God, therefore by 8:am last Sunday I had dressed up and prepared to enter any Church nearby for the Sunday School.

By 9:am I entered into a nearby Church, and it was exactly the time for Sunday School just immediately after the first prayer session. I was warmly ushered in to a seat and provided with a Bible. The church was a small one that means that there wasn‘t many classes. There were two classes, one for the male, men and the youths combined, and the second Sunday School class was for the female. My class was taught by the young pastor who has just been posted to the Church.

The lesson was on Holy Communion. The teacher explained the meaning, he talked about how it started and for what purpose it was instituted by Jesus. We learnt about how often to serve it in the Church and what kind of person should qualify to take it. There I understood that all Christians should be taking it regularly if truly they are worth what Jesus expected of them.

The scriptures used for the lesson are taken from Luke 22:14-30 and 1Corinthians 10:16-17 and 1 Corinthians 11: 24-25.

Next Sunday you are expected to share your Sunday School lesson with others.
Christianity Etc › Re: Things To Look For In A Christian Boyfriend/Girlfriend by Rexyl(m): 11:12am On Mar 28, 2013
free2ryhme: @op there is no such thing as xtian boyfriend/girlfriend. There is no where in bible were any man/woman had a gf/bf and do u even know the true meaning of boyfriend/girlfriend it is called fvck mate. Check your dictionary. The bible emphasize marriage not premarital cohabitation.
The Bible has for all times emphasized real and genuine love, which if it is to result in marriage should devoid lustifulness that Jesus makes us to understand as a sin. Love is a matter of maturity and that is reason that a Christian that is ripe of age and looking for a “life“ partner should first pray over it and when he/she has been convinced about the “godly“ characters being looked for he/she must propose or find a way to do it in a clean way if the would be partners are feeling shy. It should be easy to do if both are Christians but if not it takes extra efforts in that the reason to go for it would have been to save a soul by bringing him or her to God. On this note there will be need for extra care because a saved soul that is trying to save other should not be trapped into a situation that will pervert his/her faith.

A marriage for fulfilling the desires of the flesh can settle for just any thing in which at the end the the spiritual aspect of serving God suffers. You should remember that Jesus says God is Spirit and people should worship Him in spirit and truth. Likewise he warns that one can not serve two masters he will definitely love one and hate the other, and that one can not serve God and Mammon.

Christian life is not for fun. It involves committing oneself to honour, please and serve God in faith and truthfulness. It involves committing one‘s family to God because on this He wants parents to give account of how they have trained their children to know and serve Him. There is a very serious service here, the family should agree in their devotion to God. To achieve this all members must be in the same spirit of praise and worship, reading any guiding life on scriptures, praying and setting out for daily activities with the mind to share the scriptural lessons of the day with somebody to meet his or her need. A Christian family should know that each member is a branch in the body of Christ. Once they are together the beauty of it is to edify Christ and glorify God through him. He says he is the way, the truth and life in God.

some people are expressing what they have perceived to manifest with time as the gospel truth if certain thing is not taken seriously and proper way to tackle it is not designed before it proves otherwise. it would be disastrous to generalize issues that hinge on difficult bearings such as this boko wahala: it starts from religion then political and now a social issue or a combination of all. I personally had noted divided interest here in the south west, what ugly development that many condemn, you will see some people talking in its favour as if they gain or hope to gain something from it. This is true. But I will like to share this world of advice from the Bible. 1 Corinthians 10:12 “Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall“.
