You are as dumb as the stone you ve as head, gibberish fall off ur mouth like $hit from a$$. The next time you want to quote me be sure to understand what is it I am trying to say.
@Dabraka or whatever da 4ck you label Urself, stop dickriding and following my a$$ in every thread, you senile homosexual with a brain the size of a peanut. I know your Manouvering MOGs ve impaired your capacity to analyze issues without acting like a kitten in the wets. Don't be quoting me or even makibg any reference to my posts be warned, I am not your usual average. No go let me disfigure you dis kid.
Now to serious minded-people,are you people seriously trying to say the centre can't run its services and maintain the place on free basis? Come on, a lot of charity organizations with less in their coffers and even with less manpower run centres like that very successfully without any profit motivation. The roman catholic is a perfect example of such, they have countless centres like that caters to different things without collecting a dime from people who benefit from such services.
What I find very absurd is the fact that most of these businesses by pastors are separate entities from the church. They can't actually be said to be owned by the church but the head pastors who make decisions without having to neccessarily resort to the consultatations of other senior pastors and elders or even the management board of these enterprises. Yet these businesses thrives on the belief that they are church owned or on a collective sense of ownership amongst members, church management and the congragation which unfortunately is not the case in reality.
Like I said before, it is yet to be seen if the centre is an initiative to help or make money for somebody, however small the profit. I am curious as to why the article did not say much about how they hope to render these services. I still they look sha but I aint goina fall for that "daddy GO" crap they use to hoodwink us sha, my eyes are on them like white on rice.

I am more concerned if it is free or another business venture. I have lost respect for a lot of these MOGs, it will take a while for me to go to church again cos it seems "men of God" these days are as vane as the people they preach to. Everything to them these days is business, charity is usually pittance but the ones that will involve large chunk of cash is no charity, so much talk about giving your widow's might.
Until I confirm that whatever it is they do there is free of Charge, I will just siddon dey look them as dem dey decieve their very dumb congregations.
Politics › Nigeria Kicks Against UN Same-$ex Rights Resolutions by rhymz(op): 7:08am On Jun 20, 2011
Nigeria has warned that the UN could
turn into a "guinea pig" of policies that
cannot be implemented by member states,
following a resolution that endorsed the
rights of man-lover, lady-loving-lady and transgender
people.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN)
reports that Nigeria voted against a
South-Africa sponsored resolution that
endorsed the rights of man-lover, lady-loving-lady and
transgender people for the first time ever
at the UN Human Rights Council.
Nigeria's vote was, however, not enough
to defeat the resolution which was passed
on Friday by the Geneva-based Council
with 23 votes in favour, 19 against and
three abstentions.
The declaration expressed "grave
concern" about abuses because of intimate
orientation and commissioned a global
report on discrimination against man-loving-men.
It called for a panel discussion next year
with "constructive, informed and
transparent dialogue on the issue of
discriminatory laws and practices and
acts of violence against" man-loving-men, lady-loving-ladies
and transgender people.
The resolution brought forward by South
Africa was backed by the US the EU,
Brazil and other Latin American countries.
Nigeria, which spoke on behalf of the
African group at the Council, was
prominent among the nations that voted
against including Russia, Saudi Arabia,
and Pakistan. China, Burkina Faso and
Zambia abstained while Kyrgyzstan didn't
vote, as well as Libya which was
suspended from the 47 member states
amid violations of human rights by
Mohammar Gaddafi's regime.
Speaking on behalf of the African group,
Nigeria's representative at the Council
Ositadinma Anaedu said African
countries, "and more than 90 per cent of
the African people" did not support the
resolution.
He said notions on intimate orientation
should not be imposed on countries and
warned against turning the "UN into a
guinea pig" of policies that could not be
implemented by member countries.
"African Group remains committed to the
principle of non-discrimination. African
group believes that no human being
should be subjected to any discrimination
because of any particular behaviour
inherent in his or her nature.
"African groups believe very strongly that
at all times we should focus and conduct
our work in a way that will advance
collective commitment of human rights
and not undermine it.
"Mr President, If I may ask how come that
all countries that lack the ability to have
laws and rules and constitutional
enactment on issue of intimate orientation
only have the guts in the Human Rights
Council.
"Does it not show fraudulent practice?
Because countries that lack the political
will within their nations to subject
themselves to the true picture of
democracy are the ones that are here
imposing in their countries things that
they did not accept.
"It means going against all norms of what
we are preaching here: principles of
transparency, principles of democracy;
principles of accountability." Anaedu
noted that of recent, one of the countries
that voted in favour of the resolution had
the issue rejected at home in Europe and
added that even "the greatest country on
earth does not have this as a
constitutional provision.
"But every time we are turning the UN
into a guinea pig in things that we cannot
even implement at home," he said.
The Nigerian representative cautioned
that the Human Rights Council should be
careful not to go against its objective of
promoting "human rights."
Meanwhile in a statement on Friday, the
Obama administration which had been
pushing for man-lover rights both domestically
and internationally strongly backed the
declaration.
A White House statement said the
resolution marked a "significant milestone
in the long struggle for equality."
"This marks a significant milestone in the
long struggle for equality, and the
beginning of a universal recognition that
(lady-loving-lady, man-lover, bisexual and transgender)
persons are endowed with the same
inalienable rights - and entitled to the
same protections - as all human beings,"
the White House said.
Same-sex intimate activity is illegal in
Nigeria and is punishable by death
through stoning in the 12 states that have
adopted Shari'a law, and by up to 14
years imprisonment throughout Nigeria.

Food › Re: Why Do People Like Goat Meat? by rhymz(m): 6:38pm On Jun 09, 2011
OgidiBoy:
Question for goat meat experts: Is there any difference between the meat of a female goat to a male goat, I hear folks say the male goat meat

is better. I drove my Mom to the farm the other day to buy a goat, and the were selling the female goat like $40 cheaper.
Actually, he-goats are more expensive than their female counter part prolly cos of the difference in tast and the fact their meat is soft and takes less time to cook compared to the she-goats whose meat is strong and takes more time and ingridients to cook. My mum usually says that it will take twice the amount of ingridients used in cooking a he-goat to cook a she-goat.
Another thing if some of you habe noticed is that there is usually a time the he-goat's "offensive"(cos me i don't find it offensive sha) smell becomes very strong that one can percieve it from miles away, they smell strong when thet are in their "heat period", usually early in the morning and night time when they want to mate the she-goat. I think the increase in smell comes from more testosteron production. Another thing is the difference between the native goats and the conventional Hause agric goats(the ones with long legs and usually brown). I ve eaten goat meat long enough to know that the native goats taste way better and oozes more strongly than the agric.
Anyway, goat meat is way better and more nutritional than pork and beef.
It is the best meat for egusi soup and very good too for stew, mumsi uses it a lot for stew in my house. Then the pepper soup is mehn, delicious to say the list. If you want to enjoy goat-meat pepper soup, look for an Anambra woman that does the ish in any restaurant-bar, mehn those women are endowed with culinary skills that can only be rivalled by calabars.

The very smell of Goat meat cooking in a hot pepper soup is enough to make anyone salivate. Especially the native he goats, jeeez, Goat head pepper soup with a very cold bottle of Star is way sweeter than $ex, if you doubt me, ask the ladies.
If anambra women prepare isi ewu for you, hmmmm, u will finish your monthly salary returning to her joint. And the best ise ewu is not the elit areas o, na for those areas where you have native and very ordinary people, places like mushine, surulere, isolo and so on. . . . there is the particular joint somewhere in jakande my dad used to take me and my twiny back in them days to eat nkwobi, isi ewu, cow tail pepper soup, ugba and sometimes she does us african salad. . . .o boy those days used to be damn cool, i prefer those local joint way better than all these money guzzling fast food restaurant with their chemical food. Chei, i don already dey salivate.
Christianity Etc › Re: It's Time To Tax Churches by rhymz(m): 3:36pm On Jun 08, 2011
Interestingly enough is the fact that most of these megachurches in Nigeria get their examples from American Celebrity preachers who teach Prosperity gospel as against conventional christian spirituality and consciousness and the love of God for who is.
That quote by Oyedopo about God's ministry being essentialy business is nothing short of heresy. Heresy is a one very common practise amongst American megachurch preachers and that is where Oyedepo draws his inspirations and examples from. One pastor that I am convinced Oyedopo follows his words and writings to its full length is Rev Fedrick K.C Price, this preacher whose teachings are considered heretical with a particular emphasis on the 'prosperity gospel'.
He fully realizes that his theology is considered heretical at best have many controversial comments and twists to his teachings of prosperity that will leave one dazed in amazement at the thought of what he says. Here are a few excerpts from his audio teachings and tapes: "God can't do anything in this earth realm except what we, the body of Christ, allow Him to do. Now that statement is so--that's so--that's so foreign and so contrary to tradition that, like I said, if they could get their hands on me right now most evangelicals would burn me at the stake and dismember me and feed me to the crocodiles, because they'll consider that statement to be just heresy." -Source: "Ever Increasing Faith," May 1, 1992, audiotape.
He is unabashed about the pursuit of wealth as a sign of God's blessing and does not shy away from ostentatious displays himself.
Price has added his own unique twists to Faith theology by asserting that Jesus took on the nature of Satan prior to the crucifixion and by claiming that the Lord's Prayer is not for Christians today. Despite telling his followers that he doesn't allow sickness in his home, Price's wife has been treated for cancer in her pelvic area.
Referring to his wealth, Price says the reason he drives a Rolls Royce is that he is following in Jesus' steps. Price who has become famous for his anti biblical stance of If you have to say,“if it be thy will or thy will be done- if you have to say that, then you are calling God a fool.” He explains “What they told me to do was that whenever I prayed I should always say, 'The will of the Lord be done.,' Now, doesn't that sound humble? It does. Sounds like humility, it's really stupidity. I mean, you know, really, we insult God. I mean, we really do insult our Heavenly Father. We do; we really insult Him without even realizing it. If you have to say, 'If it be thy will or' Thy will be done'-if you have to say that, then you're calling God a fool because he's the One that told us to ask, (“Ever Increasing Faith” program on)
He also promotes the myth that Jesus was very rich and incorporates this into his theology of why every believer should be rich. “The whole point is I'm trying to get you to see-to get you out of this malaise of thinking that Jesus and the disciples were poor and then relating that to you thinking that you, as a child of God, have to follow Jesus. TheBible says that He has left us an example that we should follow His steps.
I find this excerpt, also from his audio teachings, particularly interesting: That's the reason why I drive a Rolls Royce. I'm following Jesus' steps.
This particular one is my favourite too: You can talk about me all you want while I'm driving by in my Rolls Royce that's paid for, and I got the pink slip on it. Talk all you want. Bad mouth all you want. Don't hurt me in the least. Doesn't bother me. It's a whole lot easier to be persecuted when I'm riding in my car and I got the pink slip than it is when I'm riding in a car and owe my soul to the company store.
This is where our American Preacher wanna-be pastors get their inspiration and mindset from.

Now coming to Dele Momodu's rant and endless excuses to defend the defenceless, I dont expect anything honest from the man, afterall, his entire magazine business empire flourishies and depend heavily on sychophancy and the patronage of this thieving elite. I bet he got an upclose interview and photo shoots of the MOG and the interiors of his Private Jet for his sychophancy. Is it not obvious that his crappy write up lacks objectivity and sincerity of purpose? The write up is so steeped with egotistical references that shows he is only interested in himself and his kind.
This was thesame man that openly showed a bias support for Tokunbo Afikunyomi(knowing his very corrupt antecedent) during the AC guber primaries, It therefore seems to me that when someone is in his good books, they can do no wrong, but God help those who are in his bad books. What a chameleon! Now to the subject matter: In his haste to defend his idle, momodu mentioned that Pastor Adeboye travels a lot and is therefore entitled to have a private jet. He also mentioned that the Daddy GO travels more than the Pope and as such should not be begrudged for buying a jet. Now, on whose authority did he base such comparisons of the itinerary of the two men? If Pastor Adeboye was running his private company like Oprah as he claimed or his favourite businessman, Adenuga, nobody will begrudge him or raise an eyebrow on this subject of private jet ownership. But he is not a running a private enterprise. RCCG like Winners rely on contributions from their members. The membership of any church comprises of both the rich and the poor. There are those who can't afford three square meals a day and yet will religiously pay their tithes just to seek the kingdom of heaven. If those people can bear the pain and agony of poverty and hunger just to fulfill their religious obligation to their creator, then what stops a man of God to bear little bit of inconvenience in the matter of commercial air travel, in the propagation of work of God. What is he going to acquire next to make things easier for him; a YATCH or a HELICOPTER or his own private AIRSPACE!
He is a role model to many people including non Christians. He is looked upon by many people partly because he is a man of God and because of his own personality. He exudes brilliance, simplicity and a touch of grace. His words carry influence. His actions are bound to be copied by many Pastors Jack and Jill who think that whatever is good for Adeboye is good for them too irrespective of whether it's justified or not. Why should the hardship of a commercial air travel be too much of an inconvenience for a man of God whose members go through the same hardship daily?. What would happen if he was driving on the road and found a gridlock as is normally on our roads? Would it then be right for him to use his connection in the police force who will then clear the way for him through use of brutal force and horsewhips just because he had to get to his private jet or to get to his destination quickly. Would he want to build his own private road? We need people like Pastor Adeboye, whose words carry influence in the society and among govermment functionaries to shun these kind of ostentatious living by public servants, men and women of God in the midst of excruciating poverty. If he does not experience the daily rigour his members go through on daily basis, how is he expected to understand their sufferings and then use that experience to preach to the elite who has put the rest of us in bondage? Why should he, his aides and family want to travel in opulence, detaching themselves from reality especially when Pastor Adeboye is a public servant? I say public servant because he serves the members of his church. He is accountable for every penny of their contributions and such will be expected to be above board. I am always riled by arguement or defence put up by sycophants or praise singers who think or see nothing wrong in what their favourite people do. God help anyone who has a dissenting view. They often forget these people are HUMAN BEINGS and are not above reproach if found wanting. They are not infallible and as such will make mistakes like any other human being. Pastor Adeboye is a human being. He is not God. He is sure to make mistakes and take wrong decisions once in a while. Its natural. Therefore, it's wrong to villify those who call him to order or call them bad names just because he is a man of God.

I am totally disappointed at you and the way you reason my friend. Besides, your posts just like Dele's sounds childish, uninformed and steeped with tantrums of a child.
While I will dwell little on your own posts, most of my comments will be directed at Dele's post.
Whether I give tithes, or the religion I profess is not neccessarily the crux of the issue here, we can discuss that later on over a cup of tea and cookies. Right now we are talking about the appropriateness of clergy men-living off the goodwill of the congregation and the church- buying luxuries that set a bad example to the millions that see them as role models.
The Pastor of CCC, Rev K C Price you so hastily quoted is arguably the one of the most controversial American Preacher. He is into Prosperity theology and heresy, he is known to be the loudest opponent of Materialistic and Prosperity doctrine in America. Obviously, Daddy GO gets his examples and mindset from his likes and our boy-loving Rev Eddie Long, the fruit does not fall far from the tree.
While I do not have problems with Prosperity theology, I completely and wholeheartedly disagree with the notion being portrayed.
First of all, if the prosperity gospel were true, every single person of faith would be showered in material wealth.
I know some well-off people of faith. I also know some very poor people of faith. At the same time, I know some very financially poor atheists and some very well-off atheists. Second of all, it implies a nonsensical quid pro quo(a favour given in return for sth). The entire idea of a prosperity gospel is based on an idea of direct reciprocity– if you believe in God, you will directly be given material wealth. This implies that God is some kind of spiritual ATM– deposit some faith and you can withdraw some cash. This implies a very direct connection between our spiritual choices and the material world. Yet, if that direct connection were true, people of faith would have all the material wealth and people without faith would have none of the material wealth. As I pointed out above, a cursory examination of the world shows this not to be true. One’s religion can play a very valuable role in helping a person choose to make positive choices that help themselves and help the world. If you use that guidance to genuinely become a better person, to give up negative habits and choose positive ones, you undoubtedly are increasing your opportunties for material wealth. However, it requires positive choices and positive actions from you, and there are many sources that people draw from beyond faith to make those positive choices. All of the goodness that the world has to offer comes from you and your actions and choices. I do believe that positive rewards come from making choices that are positive not only for you, but for other people. Those are generally the types of actions recommended by the major religions of the world– helping others in need, being honest in your dealings with others, respecting others, and so on. Those will result in positive outcomes over the long haul, but it’s not a direct relationship at all. Spirituality is never a direct quid pro quo(give and take principle). It provides its own rewards, ones that aren’t of the sparkly and luxurious kind.

WE ARE BEEN BLESSED TO BLESS OTHERS & TO WHOM MUCH IS GIVEN, MUCH IS EXPECTED. BISHOP OYEDEPO IS AMONG THE TOP THREE PASTORS THAT SUPPORT THE LESS PRIVILEDGED(ORPHANS, WIDOWS, OLD PEOPLE, HIV/AIDS PATIENTS etc). THE TWO OTHERS ARE PASTOR ADEBOYE(REDEEM) & PASTOR OYAKHILOME(CHRIST EMBASSY). dont get me wrong. other pastors support too, but from my research, these are the top three donors in Nigeria.

ANY PASTOR THAT STEALS CHURCH MONEY WILL DIRECTLY COME UNDER A CURSE. BISHOP OYEDEPO IS ONE OF THE MOST TRANSPARENT & ACCOUNTABLE PASTORS I KNOW. THEY CAN ACCOUNT FOR EVERY TRANSACTION MADE(INCOME & EXPENSES). EVEN TITHES & OFFERING SINCE THE MINISTRY BEGAN.

I ADVICE ALL YOU HATERS ON THIS THREAD, HAVE A VISION, BE PASSIONATE ABOUT YOUR VISION AND FOCUS ON TURINING THAT VISION TO REALITY. THIS IS THE SAME SECRET OF ONE OF MY BUSINESS ROLE MODELS - ALIKO DANGOTE. NEVER SETTLE FOR LESS & NEVER GET SATISFIED WITH ANY THING YOU ACHIEVE IN LIFE. ONCE YOU BECOME SATISFIED, YOU BECOME OBSOLETE. ITS THE SPIRIT OF EXCELLENCE.
While I admire the maturity in your tone, I can't help but notice thesame streaks with the others in your post.
Your claims that Oyedope is amongst the first top three philantropists in Nigeria is false and baseless. Do you have any fact to support that? Cos I know till date that no church leader in this country is known for any national philantropy besides the pittance they give to their church and church affiliates.
In Nigeria it is a known fact that the rich are not philantropic in the true sense of the word be it MOGs or business men. What they call philantropy is rich guys giving out couple of millions to elitist charity organizations they are connected with. Dangote donating a billion naira to Stella OBj's foundation that died a natural death after OBJ's dead 3rd term is an exampl.
These people do not give donations that actually impact on anyone outside their fold, in the US, we see church donations that help to procure drugs for people outside of the christian faith, pay hospital bills of people in hospitals that can't meet up with charges, some of them liase with international donors to give long lasting aids, like build schools, water projects, light project and so on. Tell me in all honesty, which one can we identify daddy GO with? Opera spent millions of Dollars building a school for girls in SouthAfrica to promote free quality women education, which one did Daddy GO build? convenant? You know better than to cite that.
People like Mandela,Ghandi and co are not remembered by the amount of their wealth but how much they touch people's lives. These guys left their comfort zone to help people and turn thier lifes around even when they had nothing to gain and sth to lose. Daddy GO can claim to create Jobs, build up Govt revenue through tax but at whose expense? Is he not making money to compensate for those? Is he not making way more than the pittance he pays for tax? Can you cite, with facts and evidence of daddy GO's philantropy to any serious cause outside of the church, winners?
Another thing I don't get is what exactly winners is? Is it a church empire with business interests? Can his business interests be separated from the church? Or are they two mutually inclusive subjects. Is it ethical for a pastor to leverage on both the church resources, size of congregation and buying power of the congregation to promote his own businesses. Monies that accrue from the church's business activities are they credited into church account or MOG's privat accounts. Is he the sole signatory to these accounts or is there a system or a constituted authority comprising of more than on person whose approval must be sought before embarking on any business endeavour, withdrawals or decisions. Or is it a case of absolute power on one persone on the premise that he owns and built the church and thus is entitled to such. I hope you all understand the risk in such a unilateral method of management cos winners is looking more and more like a business conglomerate than a church.
A situation where each of the branhes remit monies to the headquarters is nothing short of a banking system. Is not like any major event will come up and this very wealthy church as we are meant to believe will sponsor members to attend it free of charge. How many of you, members have attended the Shiloh programme free of charge, accommodation and feeding paid by the church management? But they are wealthy enough to buy four private jets for MOG and his co-pastors to circumvent the world with at their whims and caprices. Dont you see the folly in your argument? Why give your widow's might to people that have more than enough and keep asking you for more? Does it mean our contributions and profits made from the church businesses can't fund some of the church projects and endeavours without resorting to contributions from the congregations? So what is the whole essience of claiming that the church owns all these businesses when profit realized are not ploughed into the church but private accounts and so on.
Please lets be bold to call a spade a spade and stop this delusional defence.

Imo State Government has slashed the annual security vote of N6.5 billion to N2.5billion to make provision for the free education programme of the state.
This was disclosed by the Governor, Rochas Okorocha while speaking during a thanksgiving church service organized in honour of the new administration at the Maria Assumpta Cathedral, Owerri.
The governor commended the Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Owerri, who was the chief celebrant of the service, for standing by the truth always and enjoined him to always assist in guiding the government aright.

Governor Okorocha admitted that his administration would live by the tenets of sacrifice as exhibited by Christ, and would use every accruable fund judiciously for the uplifting of the state, adding that everybody, especially the civil servants must join hands to achieve the tasks ahead.

Earlier, Archbishop Obinna prayed for the success of the new administration and called on it to concentrate on achieving the goals of free education, agriculture, roads rehabilitation, potable water and workers’ welfare.
He enjoined Governor Okorocha to remain focused and upright in the discharge of his duties in order to meet the aspirations of the Imo people who had borne long years of deprivation and hardship in the hands of previous administrations.

The elated prelate stressed that this was the first time the peoples’ votes would count and commended the common man and the army for joining hands to defend the votes, but called on the police to live up to expectation in protecting the interests of the people.

“God has visited his people and redeemed them. The supreme might of God is shown in his supreme mercy. Only God himself can explain what made it possible for this young man to become governor of Imo. The claims that black women are always angry is true, no wonder a lot of them turn out to be baby mommas(though not entirely their fault in many cases). It does not matter the race, any woman that always likes to prove to a man that she is equal with him in every ramification is bound to get into problems with men.
I would rather a woman being a woman and let me be the man, a woman that will seek to understand me when I say do something, not the one that is always ready to argue with my decisions as a man all the time with me just to prove to me that she can't be subservient to me. Gender equality does not mean a woman must assume a man's role in a relationship or always act like there is a competition for authority in the relationship.
I have noticed that women that think or feel they know too much of what they want usually find it difficult to keep any relationship and they are usually angry inside and very vengeful. Unfortunately, I see a lot of them here arguing out of point and turning it into a male vs Female debate. God forbid I will never meet these kind of women with warped minds and very bitter feelings towards the opposite sex

Rhymz, I am not talking as an outsider or a newspaper reader but as an insider. So, we are talking on different ideas we both perceive to be the truth. Concerning Peter Odili, that was the truth I typed earlier on. You also rightly said that Odili was going to face EFCC if he had not step down but if he already had the support of the SW and help of SE PDP delegate why would he need to step down because of EFCC. To be truthful I am not sure how that adds up.

Concerning Pat Utomi I can not ague with what you wrote, You are in a better position to understand SE politics than me.

I understand my brother, I am glad I had this discussion with you. Thanks for your time.
no no no, you are wrong my friend, Peter Odili was very popular across the regions, both SE and SW and the only one that had a well established structure to win the primaries. No one group whether Odua or Ohanaeze at that point of his campaign came out to give him any open support. The pressure for him to step down had nothing to do with any region, it was the power at play in the PDP that got him to step down.
And yes, his case with the EFCC was very grevious, you can go and look it up in the net. OBJ and the other contesting powers in the PDP were responsible for his ouster from the race, it had absolutely nothing to do with any region in the south. I will advise you do a little research on what transpired then. My memories of event that happened then are still very intact.

step1:
This is a discussion not an argument or a fight so why all the insult. South-westerners do leave their region, live and work in other regions in fact I don't think you know what you are saying because all you just did is use your emotion of hate from south-western to post. By the way, why do you think the SW has "superiority complex" or " they think they are smarter". Please my friend/brother I would appreciate if you do not reply me with hints of tribalism or hate again, it is uncivilized people which I believe we are all are not.

No one is under any impression. SE voted for Jonathan because his name is Azikiwe and not because he is a leader. What I am telling you is that south-west would support a South-east president so long as SE people pick him and he is a leader. We do not think we are superior or have any superior mentality over any group (i mean what made you say that). Politics in the South-east is perfect and I am not disputing that with you neither am I in the position to tell any politician what to do be it SE or SW. Now I propose this question to you since you.

1 Why did SE politician in PDP vote out Odili in 2007

2 Why did Ohaneze say Utomi should step down but gave their mandate to Azikiwe Jonathan. I mean he is a SS man from delta state.

( Please answer this question if you fell you want to and reply like an educated adult without insults)
My friend, step1, you make it so difficult for me not to be harsh on you the way you bandy inaccuracies as fact hence my harsh tone. However, I will try my best to be civil with you and I hope you do thesame.
Now regarding your allegations that Peter Odili was voted out in 2007 by the SE, there again you go wrong as that is not true.
Go and do your research, I remember in 2007 that he, Peter Odili stepped down a day to the PDP presidential primaries which paved way for Yaradua. According to available reports then, it was said that OBJ who was favourably disposed to an Odili candidacy was presented with very hard facts of Odili's mismanagement of state funds and corrupt enrichment using state funds by Ribadu the then EFCC chairman.
Odili was forced to drop his presidential ambitions or face prosecution, I dare you to come out with facts that the SE voted en mass against Odili an Igbo man for that matter. Like I have told you before, don't be in a hurry to make a point and start presenting inaccuracies as fact.
Your second point about Ohanaeze not supporting Pat Utomi ignored the fact that he was not only the one from the eastern region being considerd as at that time, instead you chose to conveniently dwell on the speculative claims of an editorial by an agrieved supporter who was as well discussing an issue and cited that scenerio to back up his arguments. There was Orji Uzor Kalu and there was also Ojukwu. There was even a committee set up by the group to consider the three candidates and each of them were asked to send representatives which I understand Pat did not send. Also, there were criteria for the three prospective candidates to meet which Pat did not met likewise ojukwu and their support was given to kalu. How anyone chooses to interprete that is their own business but the fact remains he did not meet their criteria for their support simple and short.
Even I, at that time, thought Pat Utomi did not have any serious platform which greatly worked against him. Or did you think that they were going to give him any special treatments. The accusation that some members felt he was not Igbo enough started coming out because he was not the chosen one, I bet it would have been a different case had he been chosen. This is politics my dear, and everyone is looking out for their own. GEJ was supported by the East not because he had Azikiwe to his name-that will be tantamount to calling Igbos dumb-it was because we wanted to bring back the spirit of togetherness that was in the eastern bloc prior to the civil war, it was a way to show forgiveness & bridge the spirit of trust that eroded the region during and after the war. Besides, Jonathan was in a way better position and more nationally acceptable than Utomi was at the time, all he needed was encouragement and support which ohanaeze willingly gave him even though a lot of the other regions where reluctant to hastily give theirs as they were busy scheming and watching out for their own interests. I tell you what bro, if Utomi was in thesame position,we wont hesitate to do thesame.
I hope I have been able to answer your question my brother and I appologize for my harsh tone earlier on, is just that sometimes you get tired of these bigotry and want to curse out anyone that shows a slight hint of it. Seriously, it has made NL boring and very childish, these days, I just scroll through a lot of threads without commenting as the level of tribalism and bigotry is just stunning and the fact that it is allowed and encouraged by the mods is even more stunning to me. Anyway, lets agree to disagree.

First, kid you have shown no slight hint of education, your writing style is garbage and your thought process is fcked!
Reading through your shitty posts is enough headache, your claims of having gone to any University is in doubt-not with this dog's breakfast in the mould of a write-up, even my little cousin in secondary school will do a better job articulating his points than your below average, text-messages.
The people you call paupers probably can employ you, put you on their payroll and better your miserable existence. You won't even last a minute in any serious intellectual debate with the people you so carelessly call and think are illiterate. Just because most of us have decided not to flaunt our educational achievements here as it is not the centre of the topic, it does not give riff-raffs like you- stagga and the other religious zombies-the effrontery to make dumb assumptions.
And by the way, "Dumbo", there is no such thing as "illiterates", a little refresher course on the basics of grammatical construct; the word "illiterate" is an adjective and must not be used as if it were a noun, like you have been using it with careless abandon and ignorance. I bet your botched education did not cover that aspect. No wonder! If a little thing like that could evade you, one can only imagine how terminally difficult it is for you to understand the concept of modesty as it relates to the clergy and the spiritual/socio-economic significance of owning 4 private jets with employed engineers, the attendant cost of maintenace and even a plan to build a private hanger at the airport terminal.
Do you even realize how much it costs weekly to have a jet stationed at the terminal let alone 4 jets. Is owning 4 jets a priority of his ministry or just a status symbol or is it some strategic business plan to own an airline cos I know of private airline businesses that dont even have up to 4 airplanes.
As a clergyman there is a line not to be crossed as, ostentatious life style is part of it, there is no justification for a pastor to convert church property into a business enterprise, make money from it and further establish more businesses and leverage on the population of the congregation, any slowpoke can make money like that, it does not take rocket science to succeed that way. It is the level of compassion shown towards your flocks that makes the difference, the fact that you, as a man of God can respect their sensibilities and restrain your urge, put money in worthy causes not just only members of the church.
We hear of organizations and NGOs in far away countries donating relief materials to people in need and want here in Nigeria and all over africa. Take the Japan nuclear crisis for instance, they had private individuals from other parts of the world making donations in cash, relief materials, clothes, logistics, transportation and so on. How many of such donations or charity do we hear that our churches whose leaders live like mafians give to alleviate the sufferings in the world or is it just a case of using private jet to win souls for christ? I still can't reconcile how a very wealthy man can be winning souls of people in the remotest part of the world from his private lounge and jet cabins.
Your pastor and his likes are yet to do anything tangible to move this country forward, I am yet to hear that they made any serious donation to any university, secondary or even primary school in this country besides building their own very elitist models along side and keeping it out of reach. These people are all about themselves and their family and nothing more, they have perfected the act of mind control and power and have successfully deployed it on their congregation hence their zombie-like responses and reactions. The best way to tame a man's mind is to constantly and systematically create the imagery of an angry God who is quick to punish you at the slightest hint that you ask any questions or even impeach the motive and character of the people that claim they are his servant given their actions. People have surreptituosly equated God to some mindless deity that the MOG can direct to do whatever they ask at their whims and caprices even if it is bad. Imagine that nincompoop threatening me with dropping spiritual stuff on me(lol)? What a way to make God look like some lifeless evil fetish with no mind of its own. The concept of worship and praise has been swept under the carpet.

Pastor Adeboye, some Nigerian Bank CEO's also own jets. American music stars own jets, even some business men own jets. how much more a ministry as big as WINNERS CHAPEL worldwide. one of the most prominent ministries worldwide.

lets go down memory lane. when the church had nothing in 1983 when they started, David Oyedepo already proclaimed things to come in line with a specific divine mandate. one of the things he emphasized then was FAITH TERBANACLE(50,000 seater auditorium), BOOK PUBLISHING and the PRIVATE JETS. some people left the church then as they couldnt understand why a poor young oyedepo then can be so confident in abject poverty. to them, he was an arrogant young preacher. its the power of VISION. l have a family member who witnessed all what bishop proclaimed back then.

THE BASIC TRUTH is that its a product of necessity which relates with a divine mandate, size of their ministry, envagelism & supernatural provision. some of these pastors didnt even pay a dime for this luxury product. its all to the glory of GOD, take PASTOR KENETH COPELAND that has given out over 26-privates jets to other ministries as gifts. he even has an AIRPORT. now thats GOD in action. its beyond human comprehension.

step1:
Fashola does not have to decamp to PDP before he comes the President. He can become one by not decamping.

Concerning zoning, Zone was dead but it rose again. Zoning is live and kicking it was just held up temporarily thanks to the SE politicians in PDP.

My brother, I hope you are not talking about igbos being marginalized in the country or PDP because that is a lie. As a matter of fact igbos are given priority in the PDP. what is good for the goose is good for the gander My brother those words does not apply to the SW. October 2010 during the PDP Summit in Abuja, Every delegate from every political zones voted for zoning except SS and SE. SE delegates we deluded to think after the northerners, it would be another SW turn and so they tried to play smart by starting a propaganda that Jonathan is igbo from the SS because of his name which fell perfectly to OBJ's and Edwin Clark's plans. Afterwards each region made Jonathan to make promises to them including a villain called Tinubu.

My point is that the igbos delegates in PDP made a costly mistake. Before Yaradua PDP SW were chanting Odili and a NE vp to be the next rulers of the country. Shirts and other campaign goodies were already out especially in Lagos, before we could say "jackrobbinson" the same SE delegate voted for Yaradua instead of Odili.

2010 Utomi wanted to be the presidential flag bearer. Ohaneze or whatever said he was not igbo enough to carry the SE mandate as if GEJ was even Igbo at the first place. just to conform read this link

http://911truthcampaign.net/conspiracy/uwechue-ohanaeze-ndiigbo-and-the-future-of-anioma

2015 whether it is fashola or lagbaja there will still be a constant factor which is the stealing continues. Before I go, I would want to refer to Caulilia, you and rhymes that please stop blaming the SW for SE woes because I know it is a common practices on nairaland, Vanguard and other internet forum.
Guy you are best advised to shut your mouth up if you lack the sagacity to to interprete political matters without bias. I bet you are one of those dumb newcomers that don't bother to understand an argument before jumping to post their crap.
Who is blaming SW for anybody's misfortunes? Seriously, many Swesterners need to leave the SW region a bit and go to other part of Nigeria. A lot of you are under the false impression that you are more developed and in a position to sermonize how other regions should have played their cards in politics. While I dont take the rubbish you write above seriously as it lacks intelligence and common sense, it irks me when some misinformed kid from the SW takes it upon himself to pontificate on how politicians from other regions should have played their cards or make their decisions, Imagine the CRAP!!
Like every decision from the SE must be vetted first by the "Super-brained" SW politicians before it is taken, crappy superiority mentality. Need I remind you that in politics everyone, every region and every tribe looks out for themselves, nobody is going to make decisions to suit any group's political idiosyncracies. So stop expecting politicians to play the game your way because you think you are smarter.
And finally, I will advise you argue about the things you understand and not just hurriedly scheme through it only because you want to look for faults to support your arguments rather than understand what is it you are reading. Enuf said already!

And why is it that we decided that we know better than the Yorubas when they showed that they didn't want Obj
However I agree that other regions deserve a shot before the Yorubas come back into it
you are very correct about that but the fact still remains that he has already served his tenure for the region.
Desola:
Emeka,

I have said it before and I will re-iterate that the SW would never vote for a SE prsident. Forget the tribal enmity on this site for a second and think objectively.

How have the SE proved to Nigeria as a whole that they are capable of running a government effectively. Don't bring Nollywood(they are totally tribal) or spare parts and that "we are the economic powerhouse of Africa" bile into this now. We are talking politics and good governance here now. Who is capable of picking up the mantle and please do not bring Amaechi into this as we all know that he is a SouthSoutherner whose quota is currently in use. Who would you front and why? Why do you think the SW should vote for him/her without throwing the "we are southerners" hogwash or "let's stand against the North" nonsense.

Tell me why we should vote the SE and not NC.
I feel insulted when people write with careless abandon like this above. What exactly did the SW do in 1999 to show that they were capable of running an effective government? Besides, it remains to be seen that Obasanjo who is from the SW ran an effective government in the entire eight years he spent in Aso Rock.
You drip with a false sense of entitlement like the SE has to prove anything to the SW.
You arrogantly arrogate to your region some fictituos super-human beings with the magical wand to take Nigeria to the next level, forgeting that the SW and the North have dominated the presidency in the last 30yr or so and yet this is what they htave to show for it, Nigeria as we have it today.
Don't let your blind support for your tribes men makw you spew rubbish, just as the SW can boast of Fashola, the SE can boast of Chime, Okonjo-iweala, Ezekwesili, Dora Akunyili, Ngige just to mention a few. No one region has a monopoly of good people and excellent administrator. Who emerges as Nigeria's president is a matter of political calculations, consideration and acceptability not just because you are a great administrator, there is a limit to where such claims can lead you.
Folks like you make others say Fashola is overrated, if I was not living in lagos, I probably will think Fashola sprayed a whiff of his magic perfume and lagos became newyork. He is trying no doubt but there is also the media factor and that can also work with the likes of Chime and co, if they so wish.
Stop insulting people's intelligence by asking for a proof, what a childish rant. Come 2015, thesame Tinubu will dine with both SE and North candidates if it is obvious to him that he has no choice than to align with one of them that best serves his intersets, it is never about "your white and black" administrative prowess cos that can easily be worked out.
