Arrested. A NO MA TO PEA. |
Oga, the people who wrote the article also said you broke no law. -you tried to hide assets -you engaged in tax avoidance -if the tax avoidance is pursued, terrible things could be found out. Forget a progression of your political career meanwhile and tidy up your books. |
laylar:OH. İt is lisinopril they have bern giving him?. Doctors give it for high BP but is is also used for some kidney issues I hear. Pls try to raise some money for the young man and prevent dangerous over the counter prescriptions. |
This jokers family owns one or two universities?. He is a disgrace. |
Greenarrow01:Sympathise with his problem. It shall be well with him in Jesus name. Pls stop this kind of statement; "we have taken drugs with no result". Unless in the context of a doctor asking you what prescriptions have been used so far, it will annoy medical personnel. |
PDP, a low IQ party admired by simple minded Nigerians should continue to throw up these idiots into public office. You have no respect for Nigerians, maybe that is okay but having no respect for Yoruba people is unpardonable |
All nuclear ICBM reentry vehicles carrying nuclear warheads are already hypersonic anyways. The idea that Russia and possibly China have cruise missiles that are hypersonic confers not much advantage before other countries catch up. There are so many mobile launchers and possibilities as to make the missiles not so effective in practice. |
LTGEN:Some (probably all) M346 already paid for out of supplementary 2021. If there is significantly high Capex in 2022 it would be Russian choppers, US choppers, some JF17s and MRAPs. Maybe startup funding for Navy Frigate or Corvette or LST |
Sizzorkay:It was supposed to be just N128.94bn for 2022 capital expenditure by the armed forces... but I think they have increased it bigly. Not sure of the new figure. This is different from the extraordinary 2021 Supplementary capital budget for armed forces equipment buying programme of N859bn |
What the Prof is saying is quite clear. Less than 20m Nigerians pay taxes. Get at least 150m Nigerians paying PAYE taxes. Put all goods and services on VAT. When government implements these measures, Nigerians as usual would put their mouths up and start wailing like banshees. It does not matter. Buhari's and governments after him should keep borrowing to do National critical infrastructure. Nothing should stop these projects. Higher levels of taxation should repay the loans. |
Timoleon:İ love it. The remaining blood will rush to the brains and people will start asking fundamental questions about how they manage their businesses and lives. |
JavaScript90:Why?. You need to think and don't blame govt. There are engineers and managers managing Refineries. Think |
Samunique:Go and source your raw material locally or start consuming a substitute. IQ is low if you want USD to be low and still consume imported wheat at low prices. IQ is generally low in Nigeria anyway |
JohnEagle96:How much?. Ego le IFV? |
dragon2:Another five star comment. Step forward to win your prize. |
DOTian:The people who did it would discuss and congratulate themselves on phone and social media. After that, it is just a matter of a few hours. |
tutudesz:There are solutions to these; free, compulsory basic education with free meals, compulsory girls education, compulsory vocational education along with free education, social investment programmes financed to the tune of at least N2tr a year for the next 5 years. |
Nothing new. Nice writing style though. |
mekussa:Yes. That is the economic argument. Nigerians are ready to pay 60% higher for meat. I would be personally insulting any complainants about high costs of beef or milk starting from 2022. I am not talking about the economics I am talking about the legality of a law that singles out a particular demographic for outright ban against their rights to property and rights to free movement. Precedents are dangerous to set in law. Once you set them, they can be used. The laws don't state that; nobody is permitted to graze animals in the open outside areas designated for the purpose. This is how constitution abiding people make laws. The approved areas for open grazing can be ZERO but when you state it like this nobody's rights are infringed. The actual laws simply state that; open grazing is banned totally within a state confines. No. 1 would be a law drafted by lawyers. No. 2 is a law drafted by politicians and ethnic nationalists. |
JackWolfskin:But my doctor recommends lean meat. Thank you. Also ranching / grazing are finished in 20 years. There are new technologies for growing meat and they will come cheaper due to scale economics. So right there is your future of "sophisticated" ranching. The whole point of my discourse is that Nigeria is a modern country. The country is blessed with a lot of educated people and rationality and science should be the bases of decision making and not atavism or mass neurosis. Some of the laws that governors have made regarding farmers - herders crisis, you cannot say them out in a sophisticated setting in the UN or International NGO and not get ridiculed. You banned one side entirely whilst rejecting wholesale a mitigation that can be panel beaten to manage all possible risks. Meaning 500,000 herders or more just disappear in to the sunset and presumably should go steal money or kidnap people to establish ranches which are the only permitted way by your state. Or maybe as El Rufai said, Populist legislation does not need brains. Just do it. |
JohnBullMySon:smh. Education is wasted in this country. |
Soldiers flee right?. That headline, that story is a sacrifice of young lives in the SE by Sahara Reporters. Eventually, Sowore will go to prison. If his mission is to ruffle feathers and inflame emotions to cause bloodshed.. just watch the end of that guy. |
Oga, first of all every herdsmen was once a ranch owner. We won't stop drumming this Ecology 101 course. Wars, climate change and inter communal clashes force people to move. People like to move with their property unless you are an Ijaw man. We are saying because you have some hard luck where you are coming from does not permit you to ruin me financially by destroying my crops and assaulting my wife which is abominable and unpardonable. The FG and all state governors are saying the solution is to separate herders and farmers. One SINGLE solution agreed to already. The problem is now to interpret that solution to mean you as a state governor can institute an apartheid kind of law that would make a white SA farmer envious in its sheer unfairness. The alternative is having zones that will be used by ranchers and also admit itinerant herders. The states will issue CofO to ranchers and passing permits to herdsmen. Itinerant Fulanis can be anti social and downright expansionist so having the states regulate passage and balance out the settlements and flows should protect vulnerable ethnicities. What we will see gradually is that pastoralists will gradually improve along their own paths as well as ranchers. Some may opt to settle and some ranchers may embrace the cheap costs of moving with the cattle. Pastoralists are breeding for their better quality meat. Ranchers are in it for meat and milk. BlackBaron: |
BlackBaron:The cattle zones idea that I just mentioned is a more modern approach. It is hybrid ranching and grazing. Who told you Ranching is a modern practice?. That's another Nigerian lie told by we the 'superior' southerners. There was ranching mentioned in the Bible. That was 3000 years before Christ. Jacob worked his ass off in a ranch just to raise dowry to marry. You guys just mouth these bullshit and lies everywhere about ranching being modern. Lori iro And this nonsense about spoon feeding. Who is being spoon fed?. There are more than five CBN / World Bank supported programmes targeting crop farmers and their value chains. There is ZERO for livestock farmers. Spoonfeeding? The country is just shameless. Upon all the N600bn a CBN assistance, it is a struggle for crop farmers to improve their land productivity. Nigerian is producing all crops worse than every other country in earth but it is herdsmen that is your problem. Very soon the UN is going to get involved. Wasting land, cutting vegetation senselessky because you can't apply modern processes to you lr crop farming. Did I also mention that as much as 70% of CBN provided seedlings, fertilizers, herbicides and insecticides are sold illegally by crop farmers? So upon all the spoonfeeding by governments our farmers are also thieves. We need to inflict the truth on people in this country. It is a country of liars. |
DubaiLandLord2:Actually cows are wandering about Ondo State as we speak. I passed four sets cattle grazers along Dangote Refinery road at Ibeju Lekki, Lagos last week. I am waiting to see the first six sets of successful arrest, trial and jailing of herdsmen in this country. You will explain when Nigeria became S. Africa of the 60s. We are railing everyday against state laws that appear to be unconstitutional like Sharia, banning alcohol or ethnically or vocational targeted laws and people think it is right to arrest herders that are not trespassing peoples farms. You will tell me why street traders are roaming free and people violating town planning laws have not been arrested. States should sit down and agree with FG areas to use as cattle zones within each state where people can establish ranches cheaply because of shared services that will make it cheap. Those cattle zones not 'grazing' zones should permit a controlled number of grazers. The state will own the cattle zones and issue c of o only to the ranchers. Grazers will operate only with permits. Ranching is expensive and the land take could also drive away crop farmers. The cheapest way to do it is via shared services of water, foliage, silage, veterinarian and the all-important transportation costs. |
How do you enforce the ban on öpə grazing? . İt is a stupid law. You cannot enforce it without spending at least N600k per case. Ondo State says they have arrested 180 cows. It is a laughable disgrace. They have to transport the cows, hold the cows and feed the cows whilst arraigning the 3 or 4 people before the courts. They cannot hold them for more than 24 hours without trial, so bail comes in. How do you arrange bail for an intinerant cow herder? Nigeria is calling herself a stupid country in the committee of nations because people are playing to the gallery, want to win every argument and our afraid of hybrid solutions |
How low must your IQ be not to know that sex is an emotional thing. You offended and you expect sex?.Really?.How was that supposed to happen. Did you marry a woman or a prostitute who can turn it on and off t will. It worries me the quality of people going into marriage. So if you wife does something really bad like disrespecting your mom or diagracing you in the midst of friends, you still feel sexual urge towards her? If so, you are not to be trusted. |
Grade 1 comment. Prize winner for today. Whyem15: |
JOSCOFELIX:Not nearly enough. We should be looking at 1% of GDP per annum which is still below international best practice of 2%. 1% of GDP is $4.5bn. This works out to $20bn in 5 years. This expenditures should go into MTEF&FP. There is a way you spend this money that the local economy is positively impacted. |
Codepain:Is Afghanistan in the middle east? |
This is not an invasion. It is an infiltration. There are Nigerian Army formations far in front and around Damboa. They want to distract the NA using suicide attacks |
BigDawsNet:Nigerians are largely unqualified. Tanzanian, Zambians and West Indian countries will snap up the jobs |
