Please I need a good advice on this issue from matured minds.

A friend of mine called me yesterday and was seriously crying that she wants her daughter that just got married to come back.

REASON:
Last year, her daughter of 21 years got married. From the look of things, the marriage was contracted on falsehood.
The man( daughter's hubby) was introduced to the girl by another woman. The young man and his mother presented themselves as very good people. The young man claimed to have money and working in Abuja as "interior decorator" . He made the girl believed that he has money where's he was borrowing to do the the marriage rites.
After the first stage of the traditional rites, he lied to the girl that bank seized his money because someone from abroad sent more than the approved amount (ie. millions) into his account. The girl had to use the little money she received as salary to sort out certain things.

To cut the long story short, marriage was scheduled, on the eve of the wedding (the bridal shower night) , the young man beat the girl blue and black to the embarrassment of everyone present including his own friends, that was how the bridal shower ended with the poor girl crying all throughout the night. This is just because of flimsy excuse, to make matters worst, the girl was some weeks old pregnant which he's aware of.
To worsen the situation, after marriage, the man left the lady in the village with the parents, two days after marriage he travelled for a job, while the girl is left alone in the village without any pocket money and without any job since she's stopped the job she was doing before marriage. She's just Living at the mercy of the guy's parents with the mother treating her like trash.

Please Mod kindly push to the front page, I need matured advice.

Marriage is not online business na, why not make adequate preparation for all the required materials for the marriage. If it is church or mosque are you going to do online transfer?

Finally made it pass the border. It was a pretty straightforward process. The officer checked my documents (Visa in my passport) and asked few questions. You are required to declare any cigarettes and alcohol you have on you. After other checks, I heard "welcome to Canada, enjoy your stay". Mind you, I don't know much about traveling with goods across the border. I just had my luggage with me to avoid long waits.

The first thing I noticed on arrival was the KM/H signs. As I mentioned in my previous post (I think I did), US uses miles. But it wasn't a hassle maintaining the speed limit. While the vehicle's speedometer had a hybrid and analog count, there was a digital feature which I just toggled on with a button and it switched from Miles to KM on my dashboard. I noticed I was driving slower than the US. The most speed limit I saw was about 100KM/H which is about 65 miles per hour. In the US, the most I have seen is 70 miles per hour which in KM/H is approximately 113. Anyway, I had to obey the law.

The second thing I noticed is the road network. Looked pretty much like some freeways (highways) in the US. I was surprised to see the QEW (Queen Elizabeth Way) and the picture of the Queen in some Canadian dollars. Anyway, let's see what Canada has in store.

All seemed to be going well until I noticed my network switched from 5g to LTE and Emergency (I didn't think about roaming). Problem! Plus my battery was almost flat. Thankfully, I found a McDonalds on the route and decided to branch. Got snacks, eased myself, charged up, and connected to the wifi to reroute to Niagara Falls. Time is around 5:30pm and its pretty dark.

Had Osinbajo or Ameachi won APC ticket there won't be naira redesign or fuel scarcity.

This two strategy has made Tinubu to be out of cash and the scarcity will tell on cost of good and services which will annoy the electorate to vote against APC

I'm in a confused state right now.
There's a girl I'm talking to on WhatsApp who i really like. We've only been talking for 2 weeks. She's beautiful and hardworking and have most of the things i want from a girl.

We met each at the nccf family house but we were not close at all, although, i like her. Just 2 weeks ago, a mutual friend of ours told me that me that someone wants to borrow my laptop and it turns out it was this girl. I was very happy to lend it to her and i get to have her number. The following day, Monday precisely, she came for it and i was glad i saw her. She told me she wants to use it for ui/ux training and would need it for 2 weeks(mon - wed). I told her no problem and since then we have been chatting. However, since the time we started chatting i have been having this urge to tell her i like her etc but I don't want to make it seem as if i was taking advantage of the help i rendered. Meanwhile, i told that my friend that introduced her to me that i really like her but she advised me to be patient that if she is done using my laptop i can tell her.

However, yesterday i was just viewing status when i stumbled on her pictures and i complimented her.

Her: lie lie!( I felt this was an opportunity to shoot my shot)
So i replied: lying ke, swears and I'm even crushing

Then she went mute and didn't reply me to this moment. I felt maybe she was shocked so i didn't really think much about it. It was when i told that our mutual friend what transpired, that one said i had rush things too soon. She said i should have at least given her 3-4 weeks before telling her about my feelings. I was confused because i have always thought if you like someone, you let them know immediately but this my friend argued against that.

So, i want to know how long should you wait for after meeting a girl before you tell her you like her?
