It takes a derailed man to campaign and vote for a former dictator who destroyed an already existing democratic government n siezed power into power. I was right, Bayo is light years ahead of you. Have a nice day. |

chuna1985: What we saw years ago n millions of miles away, ur still seeing it in d middle of 2015.
Shame on yoruba. There is nothing to be ashamed about. Bayo felt he made a mistake by voting Buhari and he is matured enough to accept his assumptions about the man was wrong. For me, that is a sign of a man that reasons objectively. Are you willing to do same if you find out you are wrong about political affiliation? The fact that u insulted an entire tribe even after one out of millions of Yoruba's agrees with u shows Bayo is light years ahead of u. BTW, the 2015 election results clearly shows the Yoruba's u insulted as a tribe, have the largest group of voters without sentiments in the entire country. Majority voted for APC but there is no state in the entire South WEST where it was skewed to favor particular party and candidates in the general elections like the North, SE and SS. |

You are not smart at all. Haha! It took you years to make a simple decision of leaving that church even after you successfully withered the trial period and was a little bit stable.
What is it with women/girls and pastors? They throw their senses out of the window when around these men. He took u home and ordered u to perform BJ and u complied then returned to the same church?
Seriously, u are gullible and need to be thankful u are still single. If u ended up with an abusive husband, it is highway to hell for u because u seem incapable to assert yourself and make smart decisions.
My advice : if it doesn't feel right, then it is not right. U do not need prayers for that. Let this be your guide as u move ahead in life. |

Bollocks!
Our politicians have successfully damaged Nigerian youths psyche.
All they care about is ethnic superiority, political affiliation and correctness, and the illusion of being special.
You all are living an illusion. The world is leaving Africans/Nigerians behind at a fast pace and no amount of false sense of importance will change the fact that u are existing in the part of the world that is backwards.
There is nothing special about been Igbo, Yoruba or Hausa. You didn't choose these tribes based on any special decision making skills, you just found yourself in it.
These foolishness that has become a daily occurrence on nairaland has to stop.
How I miss the days of Harakiri, sisikill, Debosky, Mrbrownjay, ajanlekoko, kastumoto, and a host of old forumites that contributed maturely.
Nairaland has been turned into a hatred propagation platform. |

Freemanan: Exactly the bias and sentiment I fear for. Why do you think the aforementioned groups would disprove this? Your type is now the trending species in NIGERIAN politics and it hurts me as a youth to notice such without the power to do anything about it. You make PDP and the previous President along with all his colleagues look weak and paranoid with your self deluded posts and statements on social media. Do take note that I am in no way addressing your article in the light of siding anyone but JUST to put you in the know of HOW your influence might make more damage than you even intend. You all think you are making Great tidings in political analysis and party loyalty cum "Nationalism" which the reverse is the case. You pretend to be political pundits and social crusaders by exhibiting hates and sentiment masked with logic and pasting links up and down. Issapitty Mate... Don't see this as an attack on your person bro, see it as a check on your political positions and social relations especially on social media. I am forced to ask if Nigeria's growth is part of your social crusade or you JUST want the APC GOVERNMENT to fail irrespective of the consequence. So my GOOD man, divert all your astute and intelligent Brain into a more proNigeria course and not antiAPC course which have no room for human or societal growth. I Hope you will see this as a talk from a Mate to a Mate. And your paranoid self won't make you see me as one of your APC opponents... Thanks and Sleep well. God bless you! |

bros856: Barcanista: FREE OUR PRESIDENT BUHARI!!!! Enemy of progress, I read your post on Nairaland but this particular post is not neccessary. I am dissappointed in you. Common sense should tell you that you can only probe your pass administration as a sucessor, let's be honest here, Jonathan is suppose to have probed Obasanjo's administration but he failed out of fear. Please stop this story of probing other past administrations it doesn't sound like you are literate. You don't know Government is not easy to manage otherwise Jonathan shouldn't have been fooled like that. Blame the member of Jonathan's criminal administration, remember we don't have another country apart from Nigeria. Unfortunately his mission is so selfish only fools can not see through how deceptive the guy is. Majority in this clime only approach issues from ethnic or religious angle and that explains why politicians will continue to under perform but have ready made people affected by the consequences of their bad decisions come online to defend them. That is why people like OP will continue to have massive following on nairaland. The only achievement some people have in life is where they come from, something they have nothing to do about. The best way to massage a mans ego is make him/her feel he is special because of ethnic, religious, or sometimes political affiliation. The OP understands this perfectly. Every time I read posts on this forum, I can infer with a few posts and trends those that are miserable in real life but they do not know it. Seun has hit jackpot with nairanland, it is the perfect site for low lifers to feel important and they are many in Nigeria. |

The is common logic been applied.
If 4000 score above 200 for the same course eg accounting at Unilag, it doesn't make sense anymore for Unilag to conduct post UME for all due to the large number.
So, the logical thing to do is to raise the bar to maybe 280 for post UME, to reduce the number to around 500 out of which only the best 200 or less will be admitted.
If the process is fair and transparent, I support it. What JAMB or the schools need to do is to communicate this to applicants on time (those that didn't meet cut off mark) and suggest schools within the same region that are not so competitive.
At the end of the majority of candidates with high marks should be spread across the schools based on demand. This will eradicate the era of 180 qualified to study Medicine in Sokoto due to lack of applicants while 290 will be dropped at UniIlorin the same year and exam. |

Ryabcool: thank you. There nothing wrong in taking sides, it is just a breath of fresh air when u know a few posters, which she was once part off, approach issues objectively. The comments are so predictable to me right now, I don't bother reading what majority of monikers have to say about a subject in politics section. We already know where they belong. I am still struggling with lumping her into this group though. |

humilitypays: You people don't seem to get it right, Igbos seeking to secede from Nigeria to form Biafra doesn't mean an Igbo guy won't love, date or marry Yoruba or Hausa lady.
Even if Igbos leave Nigeria to form Biafra today, many Igbos will still come back to Lagos and other northern states to live and work as foreigners.
It won't stop us from dating, marrying and doing business together, but will make us love and respect each other more as foreigners.
I love Yorubas and even Hausas...I only wish Biafra will succeed so that we can stop the hate and live peacefully.
Igbos love peace, give us peace and allow us excel in our endeavours without attacking and killing us...that's all we ask for but hell NO, Hausa/Fulanis that love killing won't let that happen, so y answer one nation with such barbaric people Jokers! |

Truth is, some reputable ones charge more than this.
And the average ones charge between 50 to 100K. If you are well connected and well groomed, you can make up around 300k monthly working on weekends only in Nigeria's major cities.
Although, professional make up kits cost money too. However, you need to think before jumping into this as several young girls are now jumping into this, it will crash very soon. |

Family › Re: Would You Advice Your Daughter/son To Marry Someone Like You? by rman: 10:27am On Jul 11, 2015 |
YerYer: According to the famous psychologist Sigmund Freud, girls who marry men who reminding them of their fathers are simply trying to fill a childhood void. You will see this especially in children who were abandoned at an earlier age or maltreated by their parents. They tend to marry men or women who remind them of their parents as a way to gain their love or affection, they wonder why they were abandoned and seek partners who will love them unconditionally in adulthood. Most of them are very clingy and constantly date different people only to find out that they can never replace the love lost in early childhood. So no, I wouldn't want my daughter to marry a man like me, besides, i'm not all that good looking to begin with Brutal honesty. Fortunately, it is people like you that understand this reality that is best prepared for marriage. |
