when you try 4G LTE you will know that 3G is slow...you wont have patience for it.

What spectranet and other broadband operators call 4G right now is WiMax...speed very close to 4G but not 4G.

Mind you, what will be deployed by GSM operators is true 4G/LTE on mobile phones and other devices.

I stand by my earlier assertion that the frequencies for LTE/4G
are just been released by NCC.

4G licence are yet to auctioned. This will take place in a few weeks and true mobile 4G will be launched by operators before December.

Some have built the trial sites and people in Lagos will have 4G by December.

But since Nigerian politicians only declare once, then i choose the better option.
Under the current system, a politician can declare 2million, and embezzle 2billion and nobody will know.

The people are now aware, I don't think Buhari and his cohorts can escape our prying eyes in 2019..they will be forced to declare twice.

A set has to set the precedence.

The most important time to carry out assets declaration is after you have left office, which i am sure none of them will carry out including buhari.
Declaring your assets before you get a chance to steal is fraudulent.

Declaring before is what provides the reference point. So both are actually very important. What they earn while in office is public knowledge, so if they declared fraudulently after leaving office, they can be taken to court and jailed.

That's why it is actually to the people's advantage if they initially under-declared.

In as much a culture of Integrity and honesty is a core value of most businesses, I do not see any serious company picking managers based on this simple test alone.

MNC groom talents to become managers and by the time they are ready, the company already knows those that are honest and can be trusted.

IMO, your test is a cheap test of integrity any fraudulent staff can still pass.

I didn't buy a pre-registered sim. As a matter of fact I have been using this number before the registration exercise started. I have gone to verify the number also after they notified me last week and I was sent a confirmatory text so I think this is more of an MTN problem

The reasons for registration update are numerous, pre registered sim is one of them. Even if your face was not properly captured, you will be called for this update.

If you port and your registration is still incomplete, the network will still block the SIM. This is NCC directive not MTN. A lot of people bought pre - registered sim, didn't register their lines themselves, and other anomalies in registration.

This process is meant to correct that. Porting is not an escape route.

The above reason is why a thorough check is conducted to be sure you are not inflating figures, such as pre-declare your intended loot as your worth now.

It appalling majority do not understand that is essentially what it is meant for. To provide a reference point for what you claimed you have before, what you earned during and what you are worth after holding public office.

What I expect majority to do is keep this information and do an analysis after they have left office.

This not the time to complain, we should rather wait till when they leave power then we can compare what was earned legitimately and how their assets have grown or reduced as the case may be.

Asset declaration is not to tells us the president or elected political office holders are poor or must be poor. It is just to ensure they didn't use the position to enrich themselves illegally.

It provides a reference point for check during and when they eventually leave office.

I dont know if this is the right section to post this,If not MOD's should gracefully move it to the right section which exactly is the Front-page..Today Marks exactly 2weeks this issue started..I am an MTN User,A loyal customer at that..Today marks 2weeks have not being able to mark nor receive phone calls in my area here in Ibadan..Everybody is complaining as it is making Life Hell on earth for us whenever we are Home..Before now,The service here is super fast and everything is on point.

I have called their Customercare number times without number,they keep on telling us they would fix it..Have being to their Head office here in Ibadan,yet no response..I was able to get to know what exactly happened,Was told their Generator packed up or something,I dont know how long this would take to be recitified as it seems the non-challant attitude of we Nigerians in things like this at Play here..

The Area in question is Adeosun,Area of Awotan Apete,Ibadan and the Local-Goverment is Ido-Local Government..

MTN Should please come to our resuce and fix things asap..I would so much appreciate

I know what is wrong at that location. A tower service provider is actually hosting MTN equipment on their site and the provider has been unable to deliver power to MTN equipment. MTN normally intervenes in circumstances like this but our host has refused our request to help run the site.

I cannot provide further details but I want to assure you MTN as a company is aware and looking at other possibility of delivering quality service to that area as soon as possible.

The figures are so wrong.
