@robobo, you're not totally correct sir/ma. I am not abandoning the ship, though have not been actively posting like before. My last post was on Sept 21st where I alerted the forum of possible NSE reversal; NSE has since rallied gaining more than 1000pts (35207 to 36320)!

Sometimes it is more honourable to learn from others and contribute where/when necessary than to do the talking all the time!!!

Always available if my contribution is needed. Thank you.

Robobo, I have been around reading and reflecting on your informed comments on this forum.
It pays to listen and pick/sieve extra terrestrial market signals once in a while.
Talking degrades listening.
Any action you continuously take without a conscious break will break you....
grin
Agba's perceived monopolistic hijacking of a 'coke bottled' Eve on this forum is a non legislative item.... grin

@Fxuser, I keenly read you daily.
my Oga it gud to know u a arnd
pls share those extra terrestial market signals once in a while
and as usual of u those nuggets in bold are succinct and worth pondering on
As for Agba jst leave him alone with the coke bottle, my prayer for him is that they dont break bottled coke on his head as that coke bottle seems to belong to another person (if i am hearing rite shaa)

technically index needed the breather after a very bullish steep prev quarters
a very healthy pull back is very good d index going fwd !
we still very far from a reversal ! Index still up 30% jan !
Mkt just needed to take some back and consolidate
Some stocks even with the ''deep'' pull back are still well over 50% ytd
ok boss thanks for d insight

bargain hunters have 3 wks left before Q3 !
yeah 7 weeks done out of a possible 10-12 weeks from previous peak

quite scary with index flirting with full reversal

my fear is that no near term impetuous to kickstart d almighy second wave

so things are still much more skewed towards reversal.

or wats ur take technically on near to medium term?

I'm actually more interested in an outcome that would favour the minority shareholders.
I'm not sure which outcome favours them either grin Wale loses or wins? huh At the same time, I am disappointed in his contenders. They don't seem to have done their DD properly hence the reason it was easy for SEC to arrive at the decision to allow the AGM hold. More like their arguments didn't hold on technical grounds. Mangal acquired shares surreptitiously thereby flouting a rule (don't know which now). Wale claims he should have declared it and then demanded for accounts clarification if he needed one. The other guy just be like the rest of us now. Na container of shares him carry but them no sabi am for the company grin cheesy grin

In all, it's a good development for us all. More revelations of dealings expected in the coming weeks.

Disclaimer: I don't own Oando shares
bolded is exactly what i wanted also. Though i think going by antecedent wale is the better of the two devils (mangal and volpi are more vicious and dont play by rules, wale still PRETEND to play by rules).

Dont mind the contender they dont know that wrestling a prized asset / coy away from an equally smart alec wld require more than capital. it wld also require a lot of intellect (which they are failing in) . They think capital (owning shares) and brute force (regulatory / national assembly) wld do it for them

wale wld b shiting in his pants now

the war continues via several fronts and proxies

National Assembly to assume jurisdiction on private business affairs hmmmmm (how more dirty can this go)

wale is sure to lose this round

the WAR PRIZE == Oando oil wells (more juicy with oil price at recent all time highs and looking set to break new highs in months ahead)

Senate capital market chair -- katsina ; mangal katsina hmmmmmm

let it go. . seems its on a reversal path
u call it reversal path

i call it second round of d ongoing war.

mangal and volpi had lost the first round

The war had definitely moved to the market and as i said earlier i expect dumping to be d first leg of the market war

so fasten ur seat belt as oando is bound to experience some out of d world volatility

fortunately / unfortunately this wld only be a game for the adept at technicals and others with inside info (none of which i am)

was even praying for oando at 5 ..maybe this is an opportunity ..am waiting till then...if not ..then might sale and move on.
mayb ur prayers is abt to be answered

oando lost 5% today on full offer

the good thing in all dis oando recent imbroglio is that it is happening in a period of oil price doing highs

N.B nobody shld take the above as a recommendation cos the high oil price can only surely affect topline, the coyboys in charge of d coy might not allow the topline trickle down to bottomline which is the ultimate thing that impact retail investors

Issues
- tough finding support, SP down over 40% from 10.50 high
- very strong retracement (its reversal wen its down 68% cc: robobo)
- lower weekly closures, with falling RSI levels
- plenty flags ..
- wud be interesting to see if dat support area holds

#justObserving
Thank you

from d news analysis side. i dont see any support in sight yet.

it wld get worse before it get better

except there is sudden settlement by warring parties

Own by different people, but same in behavior.
Ordinary share holders are not benefiting from the company.
Transcorp owns Transcorp hotel, but the latter was caved out and listed differently without giving the share holders in the former a part, and still own by the same group of people in the management,
Transcorp rises from 50 kobo to #6 due to the earning of their hotel.
But when their hotel was listed differently, this action forces the price of Transcorp to fall from #6 back to 60 kobo, and the hotel still remains above #5.
Is this not cheating, Oando has similar attitude.

Oando even worse, both their ordinary share holders and the real owners were both kept in dark.
No benefit in terms of dividend comes to them for some years now, while some of their MD were busy allocating themselves with high remunerations, living large and owning other investment.
If you doubt, ask UCHESON, if you can reaching him.
I hope, the young man didn't suffer HBP.
cool cool cool
