Christianity Etc › Re: How Living Faith Pastors Send Fake Church Offerings To HQ To Keep Their Jobs -SR by Romanoff(f): 5:14pm On Jul 24, 2021

Lies from the pit of hell.
Sahara Reporters has been boxed into a corner bu the rebuttal from Living Faith Church. They're now clinging to a straw to stay afloat. Shame.
If you know what happens in some churches, fear go catch you.

Pastors boasting about their remittance figures and looking down on parishes who are struggling.

See, just forget.

How won't the church be lukewarm?

Until you're a church worker,you won't realize some things.

Just serve God with your heart and look away from what you see if you hope to make heaven, else it will break your heart and discourage you.

That's why I said "Majorly". I think I should have used "Majority". Nothing is cheap in Abuja especially when you are now a socialite ... na mad !!

The Church, Family and Friends, Neighbours as well as the Workforce of the Families would milk this boy dry !

I can't marry from that city .. Their Brain is even Expensive on something that should be quite cheaper .... hiannn!!
The only expensive thing in Abuja is rent. Even transport is cheaper and food.

Unless you insist on being extravaganza, even with a church wedding, you can use church hall and limit your guests.

Not everyone here lives above their means o. Most people I know that did big weddings could afford it. Their families are doing well.

Where the controversy is is when people know money is not the problem but you chose to do small wedding. That's when they'll be saying "maybe a pastor told them not to loud it".

I ThanGod for you ... Some of you failed to realise when God is helping you .... You need to pay attention to your brain because that's the only way God speaks to Human and other animate objects!

Abuja spirit has entered into her and Abuja spirit is all about "spend and finish" ....

Majorly, Average Abuja people are Lavish and Mouthish. Abuja People spends beyond their pockets and being a resident of Abuja , Her Family, Friends and neighbours would have subjected her to Higher Standards beyond your means and of course, Her Means.

It's not just the wedding but also your marriage would also be toxicised from one extravagance to another. Na frustration go later wound you and you will bow out crying!

Go and do Offering as you have been delivered from evil spirit, Extravagance and ultimately depressing frustrations !!!

Let her go and date Senator Pickin and all these Monies Missed Road Alhajis & Sons dem ......

She is possessed now and her eyes may never be cleared or she might come begging !!
This is not completely true. I grew up in Abuja and right from when I was really young, I told my mum I wanted a small wedding, she thought it was a joke, till covid came and it was the best opportunity.

Guests where barely up to 80, I ensured strict compliance by using bouncers to threaten her to reduce her guests. Cause na her guests plenty pass.

My dad was always a modest person so I didn't have issues from his side of the family.

Most people saw my wedding pictures on social media. Na sorry I take end am when they were like "na wa o, you didn't even invite us".

It's not because we were broke, we planned our finances and channeled it to better things.

You never get land for Abuja, you dey throw lavish wedding. Some don't even have a car, yet they will do 3m wedding and be jumping Uber or along.

Wisdom is highly profitable.

If she wanted a big wedding and could afford up to half the cost at least, e for better, if her siblings can also contribute to give her the kind of wedding she wants, e for make sense.

She's not ready to marry.

As for the counselling part sha, I understand where she's coming from, you should be able to sit together to take a few classes, even if it's once. But it's not enough to call off the wedding and her reason should not be because of a supposed man of God.

Based on my first paragraph sha, she never ready.

Wahala be like POS business, e dey every junction.

Una dey knack for theology school, una no even fear.

The devil is very smart, he just arrnged temptation keep for you for where your journey start, lack of self control didn't allow you see the Potiphar's wife sent to destroy your life.

Worse is while you have hope of going back to the school, she was expelled and now has a baby on the way.

It couldn't have cost you anything to take one or two of your uncles to go see her parents, explain to them that you don't have a job that you're doing now and can't support but they should provide you with a basic list for traditional rites so you can save towards it.

If they are reasonable parents with a daughter who is pregnant out of wedlock, they'd be lenient with the list.

This isn't going to be easy as a job is hard to come by and learning a skill will cost you and mean you can't even earn to support her or the baby.

For those who will stumble on this, if you know your calling or purpose on this earth, flee from sexual sin. Nothing destroys destiny like it.

Rotfl.

The reason many people are calling God (cause God did not call them) and claiming to be pastors is cause many people are gullible.

People that don't want to know God and hear from Him by themselves. People that instead of working out salvation prefer to pay "pastors" to see vision for them and give prophesy, na so e dey end.

Let God continue exposing the wolves in sheep's clothing abeg.

This is the reason you just marry people with similar faith. He feels strongly about his catholic church, you feel strongly about your presbyterian, but your hearts feel strongly towards each other.

I know traditionally, the wedding is done in the woman's church but if he's strongly against it, make una bone church wedding do court wedding instead.

That's a middle ground.

There's no union between a man and woman that doesn't have God's blessings, whether traditional, church or court wedding.

The most important is that traditional marriage sef.

But the study you just referred me to assumes it is more than just that one command..there is a whole doctrinal school built around this great commission you speak of, and there are included lies that suggest that special rrewards await those win souls. undecided

All Jesus Christ did was give a command, without a blessing or promise attached to it. undecided
I'm not about the doctrine. But the command. Whatever name we choose to call it, it's something that all Christians should take seriously. As a pastor of a church, if for 3 months, no one in your church has won a soup, your evangelism and follow up department isn't having records, there is a problem.

It means you're just a pastor of church goers, lukewarm or cold people.

Does it mean there isn't two or three people in that church who are actively winning souls or is it the attitude and body language of the church that keeps people away?

Why do you as a pastor need to boast of any soul? And where did I talk of offering in my post? You guys always go on the defensive, and thereby lose focus on the point of discussion.
No. I talked about offering based on previous posts about this matter.

This is actually the first time I'm commenting on this issue.

Every Christian should be able to boast of a soul on a timely basis. As a pastor of a church, you should lead by example.

Even that very study is one of the many doctrines and traditions of men that Jesus Christ warned as nothing but lies where the Truth of God is concerned. undecided

All Jesus Christ did was give us comandments/rules and ask that we obey Him. He also instructed us against adding our own ideas and twist to what He says. undecided
The great commission is the command of Jesus. And it's for everyone who is a disciple of Jesus. I believe we won't agree on this so I'll just stop here.

The original command is simply a command among many given as part of the New Covenant Law of God. However, men bave built doctrines, and kingdoms, around this one command which they term "the great commission". undecided

Take a look at this study and let's discuss further after you're done.

I actually learned of the great commission in secondary school CRK and then Sunday School.

Take a look at that study and see where either of us is getting it wrong.

Yes, but not as the great commission states but as Jesus Christ commands them to. Even the apostles in the Bible did not go out preaching the gospel until Jesus Christ instructed them to, and this after He had spent time teaching them His Truth. undecided
That command is what is called the great commission. Don't you think so?
