Romance › Re: Any lady that says YES to these questions can't remain single for long. by ronald4lif(m):
Nicely written. I agree with your post but I have a reservation with the number 2 point. Here's an excerpt from the said point;

"Ok what is even the guaranty that the ones who have good jobs or business can not face hardship? many ladies have lost their chance with a vibrant vision driven man just because they are waiting to say yes to a man who has a job rather than for them to also find something doing that will make them financially independent while the guy has enough space to pursue his dreams.Believe it or not 95% of the rich or successful guys you see today have passed through a struggling face."

Like I said while I agree with what you said I feel indifferent about the embolden. Quite true a rich fellow might face challenges and financial setbacks but the possibility of this happening is way less likely than a struggling fellow having a breakthrough to success. I keep hearing this saying all the time that what's the possibility a rich won't get broke? Yes true, but such occurrence is not as possible like that of a not-to-do well hitting landmines of riches. This saying is as if 'prospect' guarantees 'riches'.

Also, let's put ourselves in ladies shoes for a moment. Shall we? You have two guys who are showing interest in you and you have some form of attraction towards the both of them. One is rich and the other struggling but he's got prospect all the same. Who would you go for among the two? If your daughter or sister is saddled between these two choices of men who would you recommend for her?

Honest response with reasons please. And while at it be reminded that prospect doesn't always result to success. Not everyone with noticeable prospect becomes rich.

Romance › Re: For Nigerian Men Complaining About Nigerian Girls. by ronald4lif(m): 7:18pm On Sep 18, 2015
I think the 5 out of 10 figure is grossly exaggerated. But then who knows since most of such kids hardly tell their stories for fear of being lashed by either their parents or the perpetrator who must have threatened them not to reveal to anyone.

While you're creating awareness of the girl-child molestation and condemning the male folk do well to also condemn members of your sex who molest the boy-child too. Both sex of minors are bedevilled with this ugly crime so don't coin it as a female issue.

No surprise. The media has influenced many people to love and think it's a necessity and acceptable. Whatever the mainstream media project to the world becomes a norm to the society however not every norm is necessary or right.

I don't have a problem with those who likes and do it but I won't because it's completely irrelevant and has no bearing to the safe delivery of that child or who they'd become. Soon they'd come up with sex shower, birthday shower etc etc. All irrelevant.

Nonsense. Baby shower, maiden's night abi is it bachelors night and all their likes are completely irrelevant. Go birth your baby quietly and stop disturbing the public.

DAVIYJONESS:
I believe that's the way it has been from
Innovation, feminism is empowering women wrongly and that's what you have been advocating, tell me mr ronald 4lif why are men elligible to marry as many woman as they can and a woman can marry just one man at a time?
Don't drag feminism into this discourse as its unrelated to the issue. I'm anti-feminist and neither am I propagating it ideology by my stance. The reason why men can marry more than a wife isn't far-fetch. It's because men had dominion over women from medieval ages. A man can talk to any woman or girl but women can't relate with men coz they weren't permitted to and feared being stigmatized. It's same mentality you've adopted by virtue of the society we grow up, a patriarchal one. Don't also forget that there are matriarchal society where polyandry is practiced and women can have more than a husband. Does it make it right?

If you allow her make her choice there is 2million chances she might make the wrong one, a girl's life should be vehemently supervised. I know I will be a father of a daughter someday
Wow, Mr Jones, are you a male chauvinist? Because this is what this reeks of. I can't wrap my head as to why you're convinced that a girl should be piloted but not saying same for a guy. Don't let the male ego mislead you into thinking a man is way better than a woman. There are as almost equally dumb and directionless men just as there are women.

Anyman who shags anything in skirt has less to lose than a woman, that's should prove my point and as a man if you didn't caught me having sex there is no evidence that I've had sex unlike woman.
Whether there's any evidence to point out one has had sex or not isn't the issue. The issue is one don't go about condemning female non-virgins without doing same for the male. Even worse so when the person isn't a virgin himself. In doing so they're nailing an individual or a group of persons for same crime their guilty of.

Are you a virgin? No. Your woman is just your girlfriend why should she have to live up to your standards. And if you have standards for her, she should have standards for you, too; like your bank account, her future with you, the luxury life, be as cute than mr. Universe. What can you guarantee her?

If she is a virgin and she gives her self to you, and you two are not compatible or you both break up. Then what will she tell the next guy that has same expectation. What era are you from bro? What's with you and virgins lol.

They have so much to lose the world is envolving around their sexuality and its changing everything.things are geting worse, they are more of sex object these days.
My world doesn't evolve around a woman's sexuality, perhaps yours is but not so for everyone. If you surround your world around a woman's sexuality that's your problem not theirs.

Wow. You think a woman is like a sex object? Don't you think that's sexist and a bit misogynist. Please have regards for women and cease from cheapening someone, a human, because of their gender. Your being born a male it's no choice of yours and you could have been a woman. A man is no better than a woman.

Men will always be superior.
I don't want to join words here coz this is not a battle of the sexes even though your position and arguments stem from the believe that a man is superior and must have things their way why women should be their subject. When we're having a gender superiority argument we'd address that. For now, let's keep it thematic.

DAVIYJONESS:
That's the point I've been trying to make, fornication among youths has corrupt the tradition, making marriage less exciting as it use to be.

Most of these non-virgins most times think they don't have to marry, why should they? They had had sex and have seen the unclothedness of a woman, they have done all possible styles, I'm not saying marriage is all about sex but sex plays major role and its one great excitement of marriage.

See youths going around sleeping with one another, the fact is girls will suffer it the most.

Mr ronald 4lif are you giving up?
Stay thematic bro, you're drifting from the original message of your thread. What you're saying here is in variant with your initial submissions which was condemning women only without the men even as you boasted you have the right to shag as you can't control it.

Having sex is a personal decision and everyone is entitled to their choices. What you consider wrong might not be same for others and even if you must berate non-virgin women, men should equally get the stick otherwise your mission is lopsided and self-serving. You can't feel you're free to screw anything in skirt and women shouldn't because you're a man.
Romance › Re: What Is The Excitement Of Wedding Night When Your Wife Is Not A Virgin? by ronald4lif(m): 10:56pm On Sep 17, 2015
DAVIYJONESS:
This right here is why the country is full of runz girls/sluts/ olosho . When men don't care about what's right and forget the concept of integrity on humans.

Because I'm not a virgin doesn't mean I don't deserve to marry a virgin, whoever I had sex with was by agreement I never forced her be it sex worker or a typical girl. I did it because I had to and my body can't take it no more. But a woman case is different they have more sex control than male when they were virgins( this is by fact through research) whatever made her gave her virginity away is by choice wether being lure/seduced/ deceived she has herself to blame.
A woman have sex and she's termed olosho, slut and every other demeaning names you can think of and when a man does same he's cheered by his friends for being a smart guy. No lashes from anyone because he's a 'man'. Why men should receive approval and extolment for having sex and women chastise is prejudicial and chauvinistic. We can't put markers on who should have sex and who shouldn't based on gender when both genders enjoys and crave for it as much. Any condemnation should and must not only be seen as all-encompassing but fair.

Sure because you aren't a virgin doesn't mean you don't deserve one. You do deserve and should have one if you so wishes. But it's hypocritical to demean and chastise non virgins when you aren't one yourself. Just go for the virgins and respect the non virgins decisions and choices.

You claim to have indulge because your body couldn't hold it anymore but fail to accept that a female non virgin might have done same coz they couldn't resist the urge. What a fair judgment and how nice of you to admit your frail ability of chastity but same time dismisses that of women.

Women's withdrawal attitude towards sex doesn't connote lack of interest but rather an action geared to ensure the guy's interest is genuine. Or perhaps they don't want to be stigmatised by judgmental and sanctimonious people like yourself. When a woman loves a guy and she's sure sex isn't the prime reason you're with her, she'd be the one to initiate sex even more. And there are equally many researches that supports the claim that women perceived withdrawal attitude towards sex is because they don't want to be label sluts like you just did, not coz their hormones craves for it any less than men.

I see, its the world you love since you don't really need your wife to be a virgin. Its the world you join to create and its geting worse everyday.
I'm no virgin and don't consider a virgin woman more better than their non virgin colleagues. I found it completely irrelevant and if I had deem it important I should have preserve mine. But for me, you or anyone else who isn't a virgin and still indulges in sex to expect and demand virgins even as their action have the propensity of stigmatising non-virgins is hypocritical, selfish and self-serving. Don't seek or penalise others for an offence you're indicted of. Simple.

I am classifying it now
Lol come up with a grounded argument bro, this is infantile. You or no one else have the carte blanche to dictate who should conserve their virginity and who shouldn't.

To go around stuffed up like that is to be pregnant with nothing alive but pregnant all the same. An inability to accept the diversity in persons, decision, views and lifestyle is nothing short of idiocy.

The only authority to define what is allowable and not allowable in their lives or to preserve their virginity is individualistic and no one can usurp individual's choices. The world has long moved on from the era when men have dominion over women's choices and coerce them to abstain from having sex while they screw everything in skirt. Allow everyone make their choices themselves.

women don't even like virgin as husband.

Does it make a difference if he were? Are you saying there is equality in male and female virginityhuh undecided
Some women might not like virgin husbands because they might come off as inexperienced and boring likewise same for some men who don't like virgin wife based on same reasons, I as one of such men.

I don't know what you mean by equality of virgins in both sexes. A virgin is defined as one who hasn't experience any sexual intercourse. There was no where it was classified or rated as which of the sex virginity is more important than the other.

Hahaha lmao so they told the guy who has applied and has been refused visas many times not to apply again in a few years and he asked to know how many years exactly? In an apparent need to know when to commence his application spree for visas lol. And another who has been denied for the third time in less than 6months was asked why his seemingly desperation to travel to the States and he just said business. What a dumb, vague and imprecise response.

I'm sure the CO's working in embassies and high commission must be having a dose of comical drama from interviewees on daily basis. I envy their job.

I also do think that those applying for a visa on the basis of visiting brothers, sisters or any family member are ill-informed and misguided. No embassy will grant a vibrant adult a visit visa for the purpose of visiting a family member without considering their own right to an entry visa, employment and financial status of the applicant. Even if you claim you want to visit a family member as an adult you must provide substantial proof that you'd return back to Nigeria. Which are mainly job portfolio or your bank statement with sufficient funds. Family visit visa mostly works for aged relatives not young adults.

I disagree that one's attire have an effect to the outcome of a visa interview. They focus on merit not on dressing. Wear a knicker to an interview and merit it you'll sail through.

My brother I taya o. Whoever coined that sh1t is a master fraud. Girls don't give sex, they indulge because they love it as much, if not more.

The reason they exhibit withdrawn attitude is because society right from the medieval ages conditioned men to chase and initiate relationship. Not because they don't or can't play a reversal role. No one gives the other sex, everyone indulges coz they want to and enjoys it. Simple.

This is what interest me the most in the whole story. That some women save and contribute financially to their wedding but while in Naija it's widely believed that the funding of a wedding should be rested on the man's shoulder alone while the woman's only contribution is to determine what to buy and how classy she want her wedding to turn out even as she doesn't contribute nada. Family › Re: I Want To Know The Cost Of Marrying An Anambra Lady From Okija by ronald4lif(m): 10:54am On Sep 17, 2015
Bride price is the least of worries to marry from Anambra. I doubt if you'll ever pay more than 20k and in most cases more than half of the original sum is returned back to the groom's family. Bright and sounds good isn't it? Wait until you see the downside.

Some umunna may present you with the list that comes with the bride price ceremony. You'd see things like 10cartons of beer, 6 cartons of malt drink and 4 soft drinks cartons, 4 wines and 2 schnapps, 5 cartons of soap and 2 bags of salt for umuada, 2 bags of rice, 1goat or 10k for meat, 3 cartons of tin tomato and 1 basket of fresh ones, 2 basket of garden egg and ose oji etc etc.

Note that there are some villages in Anambra and other Igbo States that insist that a man must also perform traditional marriage and in fact don't collect dowry till on the trad day. And in traditional marriage the list would contain even more items and more expensive. I don talk my own sha o.
Romance › Re: Is It Right..??? by ronald4lif(m): 10:28am On Sep 17, 2015
"If you want to control and have all of me come and marry me"

The highlighted phrase connotes independency, authoritarianism and threat. She's telling you that you have no right to dictate where she goes, who she hangs out with and her choice of life even as she's bamboozling and threatening you to either marry her or accept her automous personality or buzz off.

I think it's up to you to decide if you can put up with a relationship with someone who's inconsiderate about your feelings and doesn't think you have the right to question her lifestyle or move on. But if I were you I'd opt for the latter option.
