ololufemi:Abi?Make dem allow us cycle in and cycle out so i go dey ready for lifting of TS on PHB |
yodiyokun:That is just patronizing to say the least! Imagine MTN saying they will scrutinize every applicant and some categories of people have already been barred. Who exactly do they think those who will forking out N600M to invest in MTN are? I find the article a bit offensive really ![]() |
esco399:Some of the institutional investors already have representatives on the boards of these banks in executive capacity to jealously guard their interests. Helios and Sabre are off-shore institutional investors in FCMB and guess what? they were preferentialy alloted about 60% of the last PO and i think the deputy managing director or may be one of the executive directors of FCMB is from Sabre so these institutional investors are already on the ground! |
pumping777:Yeah i meant English Premiership, Italian serie A, Spanish la liga numero uno and French ligue 1 ![]() |
esco399:There were 4.7B shares on offer and plus the over-subscription of 160% they are absorbing and GDR an additional 8.5B shares of ACCESS will be listed of which stanbic have been allotted 1.9B so with outstanding shares of ~6.5B that makes a total of ~15B that will be listed so stanbic will be owning about 13% of ACCESS they are nowhere near acquring controlling shares in the bank. By the time FCMB PO is completed 35% of the bank will be owned by off-shore institutional investors so the point i'm making is there's no single entity that will be allowed to own controlling shares in these banks even if the banks belong in the second division league Third-division league banks will definitely be swallowed up in the next two years! |
wanaj0:54% of the shares on offer at the time they did the PO and not 54% of the bank that doesnt look like a takeover bid to me |
ckenneths:I see you are hanging in the air. I hope you have got enough fuel in your tank to sustain your mid-air 'acrobatics' welcome on board matey! ![]() |
aktopgun:Do you actually mean Bambino never arrive?i can only assume that's the case if you are still surfing nairaland So the bobo just dey make 'shakara' anyhow all the best whenever he decides to show up ![]() |
shigidi:i have locked onto DSR with my radar i will try and see how the trades go today on NSE looks to me like the trend is bullish(did some charting) The price may not drop for a while but i wll have to confirm this as soon as i have been able to do some calcs(lost the plot ove the weekend i have seun to blame for that!) |
wanaj0:yeah i'm in the middle of computing the RSI, CCI and the MACD to determine if the trend is bullish, bearish or sideways and if its showing me a BUY/SELL signal ![]() |
wanaj0:There was no holiday we simply 'migrated' the discussion to stockmarketnigeria forum. Somebody even joked that nairaland has been placed on TS ![]() |
Seun do i assume you have the moderators you need then? |
ololufemi:Add my name to the list of angry nairalanders and its probably going to get worse when its near the time for TS to be lifted |
wanaj0:I will be cycling in and out of FCMB, Bank PHB and Diamond in that order(timing is very crucial). In actual fact if you buy the Diamond GDR now it works out at ~N16(cheaper than the quoted price and thanks to the weakening dollar) and i think it was mentioned it takes about 9 days to convert your GDR to ordinary shares. Dont have the stomach for the GDR reference price nonsense those who bought the GTB GDR got ripped off when the reference price that was eventually fixed for the GDR worked out as being more expensive than those who originally bought the GDR when it was listed |
RoughCut:Make me too change my username to shakabula ![]() |
pumping777:am also happy camping i saw eruobodo on another thread but i think shigidi is still top of the pops ![]() |
yodiyokun:i think you have been over-ruled you no get reinforcement and no back up! |
aktopgun:As i don talk am before when Papa elephant dey for center stage the baby elephant must disappear to one corner. When Great ife dey for stage all others must be in hibernation ![]() chei! i no fit nack the proverb proper proper for my native language ![]() |
aktopgun:Nope there are only two universities in naija: OAUoba awon universities and the rest! |
aktopgun:Yes o. I never had so much fun as today since i joined this forum in May |
aktopgun:You no sabi Muda Lawal and Father Tiko the best coach we have ever had Probably before your time ![]() |
aktopgun:you may just be right ![]() |
barge:Father Tiko say make i play 4 and i play 4 remember Babatunde Mudashiru Lawal? we have not not been able to produce another versatile mid-fielder like himI think there's a forum for football make i carry my post go there before seun drive me commot ![]() |
yodiyokun:Papa lived ahead of his time. Imagine the architectural wonder cocoa house is!(i hope its still standing) Great visioneer |
model1780:I think we have Papa Awo to thank for diverting the cocoa money to OAU. |
model1780:Did a post-graduate diploma @ Ife '91 its now OAU innit?(the most beautiful campus in Africa not sure what it looks like now!) |
wanaj0:is that the new formation the super eagles(is that correct) have adopted? ![]() |
yodiyokun:I did a post-graduate diploma(DMS) at Ife or is it OAU? '91 |
EMMAACHILE:Nice one! Did anybody notice Dangote Sugar is flying?(dont need to do a chart for that one!) RedStar Express has done 103% since it was listed on the NSE about 4-5 weeks ago and only about 4-5 people are responsible for this state of affairs they managed to shift about 544,000 today. Methinks there's a PO in the offing i dont think its a simple case of people taking profit. In fact the volume involved today is more than all the volumes combined since it was listed. (Would like to do OBV analysis for this one) |
easimoni:I was actually going to ask the same question but then the name is quite well known ![]() |
rushnovski:Abi na true say dem get power failure? na im be say NSE no get back-up system I dont think all those with millions upon millions of naira and pound sterling and dollars will be very happy o ![]() |
