I believe presence of form, without even discussing the source of grief, does it. That is what I do sometimes, just spend quality time with the person.
I remember when I was a kid and we went to condole some bereaved people in the village, I tagged behind my elder sister. After pleasantries, it was time to say sorry. In want of what to say to embellish my "sorry", I said: "please sorry". When we left, she asked me why I should add "please", if I was the person who killed the dead man. Lol! I pinched myself and watched my tongue thereafter, I was around 8 or so.

People should learn to console, as well as to congratulate people. The right words at the right time will sooth a grieving or merrying soul.

On a lighter mood:
My friend's brother once went visiting a relative who put to bed. They knew they had to visit, but what to say there, they knew not.
After moping at the woman for what seemed a long time, they said "sorry for what happened".
The woman was surprised but burst into laughter when she realised nothing else other than her child delivery happened. She knew the boys lacked experience.

I wanted to learn forex trading,so my friend said he knows someone that can teach me,he also said the man will park soon so i should make it quick.

Instead of getting a laptop and moderm first i decided to leave that and go for the training,i paid #30000 to learn it and till date av never practise what i learnt not to talk of making money from it.

I don't think i'll make use of the knowledge again cos i don't gamble,i see it as gambling.

So that knowledge is a waste for me.

Now that you know and teaching people it's a gamble, you are already making use of it.
Unless you define "making use of" to mean making millions, no knowledge is a waste to me.

I remember once when my elder brother claimed there wasn't enough salt in the soup we all ate.
Without consulting any of the stakeholders, he added extra salt in the soup. My kid sister, who quarreled with the guy-man that afternoon and they were not in talking terms as at that night, cried to my mum in protest. My mum came and confirmed the story from us, and next, she added more salt in the soup and asked the guy to keep eating. She dished us new soup to continue the supper. Nigerian parents are the best. Just that you won't realise it during the training period. However, they are mostly so when they are young. The older they get, the softer they become. Following relentless onslaught by troops, many members of the Boko Haram terrorists group are beginning to surrender voluntarily. Some of them submitted themselves and their weapons to the leadership of the troops in Konduga during a further campaign at the weekend.

The Defence Headquarters has tweeted that "as the heat on the terrorists continues, five terrorists surrendered on Saturday (September 20, 2014) with all their weapons to troops at Konduga, pleading for mercy."

Other captured terrorists who refused to surrender have also been giving useful information on the subsequent plans of the group in an apparent offer to cooperate.

In the last few days there have been several attempts by terrorists desperate to gain entry to Konduga, which the Nigerian troops, have continued to foil.

The PRNigeria gathered that the terrorists’ move was aimed at recovering the bodies of their prominent fighters who had died in the previous encounters in the area.

Meanwhile the Nigerian troops have recovered more weapons during the mopped up operations while some of their (terrorists') vehicles have been destroyed.

TRIPOLI, Libya (AP) — An Islamist-allied militia group in control of Libya's capital now guards the U.S. Embassy and its residential compound, a commander said Sunday, as onlookers toured the abandoned homes of diplomats who fled the country more than a month ago.

The breach of a deserted U.S. diplomatic post — including images of men earlier swimming in the compound's algae-filled pools — likely will reinvigorate debate in the U.S. over its role in Libya, more than three years after supporting rebels who toppled dictator Moammar Gadhafi. It also comes just before the two-year anniversary of the slaying of U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans in Libya.

A commander for the Dawn of Libya group, Moussa Abu-Zaqia, told the AP that his forces had been guarding the residential compound since last week, a day after it seized control of the capital and its international airport after weeks of fighting with a rival militia. Abu-Zaqia said the rival militia from Zintan was in the compound before his troops took it over.

A senior State Department official, speaking on condition of anonymity because the official was not authorized to discuss the issue publicly, said the department is seeking additional information but believed the embassy compound "remains secure."

The official said the U.S. had moved embassy staff from Tripoli to Valletta, Malta, because of "ongoing fighting between militias occurring very close to our compound." Those personnel "remain engaged," the official said, while the State Department continues to work with the Libyan government.

Some windows at the compound had been broken, but it appeared most of the equipment there remained untouched. The AP journalist saw treadmills, weight benches and protein bars in the compound's abandoned gym. Forks, knives and napkins set for a banquet sat on one table, while a cantina still had cornflakes, vinegar, salt and pepper sitting out.

Some papers lay strewn on the floor, but it didn't appear that the villas in the compound had been ransacked.

Hassan Ali, a Dawn of Libya commander, said his fighters saw "small fires and a little damage" before they chased the rival Zintan militia out of the residential compound.

"We entered and put some of our fighters to secure this place and we preserved this place as much as we could," he said.

Abu-Zaqia said his militia had asked cleaners to come to spruce up the grounds.

He added that the U.S. Embassy staff "are most welcome in God's blessing, and any area that is controlled by Dawn of Libya is totally secure and there are no troubles at all."

Another Dawn of Libya commander, who spoke on condition of anonymity as he wasn't authorized to speak by his leaders, told the AP that the U.S. Embassy, about a kilometer (half a mile) away, also was under guard by his militiamen.

"We've secured the location and the assets of the embassy," he said. "We've informed our command ... immediately after entering the place following the exit of the rival militia. The place is secure and under protection."

The commander did not elaborate and the AP journalist could not reach the embassy. The Dawn of Libya militia is not associated with the extremist militia Ansar al-Shariah, which Washington blames for the deadly assault on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi on Sept. 11, 2012, that killed Stevens and the three other Americans.

A video posted online Sunday showed unarmed men playing in a pool at the compound and jumping into it from a second-story balcony. In a message on Twitter, U.S. Ambassador to Libya Deborah Jones said the video appeared to have been shot in at the embassy's residential annex, though she said she couldn't "say definitively" since she wasn't there.

"To my knowledge & per recent photos the US Embassy Tripoli chancery & compound is now being safeguarded and has not been ransacked," she wrote on Twitter. She did not immediately respond to a request to elaborate.

Typically, local forces provide security for diplomatic posts, but Libya's government has largely relied on militias for law enforcement since Gadhafi's ouster, as its military and police forces remain weak. In the past several weeks, the security vacuum in Tripoli deepened as militia violence worsened and the diplomatic security provided by Libya's Interior Ministry in the area apparently fled as well.

It remains unclear who the U.S. left in control of guarding its facilities after its personnel evacuated under military escort on July 26. The State Department has said embassy operations would be suspended until the security situation in Libya improved.

Libya's militias, many of which originate from rebel forces that fought Gadhafi, have become powerful players in post-war Libya. Successive governments have put militias on their payroll in return for maintaining order, but rivalries over control and resources have led to fierce fighting among them and posed a constant challenge to the central government and a hoped-for transition to democracy.

The militia violence began after Islamist candidates lost parliament in June elections and a renegade general began a military campaign against Islamist-allied militias in Benghazi, Libya's second-largest city. Now, Libya has two competing governments and two parliaments, deepening divisions and escalating the political struggle that's torn the country apart.

I think this one has to do with demonization. He must have had it many animals, he was only caught on goat and fowl. this is simply unthinkable.

A 19-year old apprentice welder was caught yesterday, making love to a hen at about 11:20pm in Continental area of Akure metropolis in Ondo state.

Vanguard reports that the teenager was said to have done the unthinkable late hours of yesterday. According to the owner of the chicken, Mrs Stella Akintola, she relate the rather disturbing event saying that she went to bed rather early that night but was awoken by noise of her chickens from the chickens’ pen; a development which points out that someone or something was disturbing the domestic animals.

She told newsmen that she got out of her room to check what was wrong, but was surprised to meet the back door of the house opened wide at that time of the day with the young teenager appearing from the toilet area saying he went to use the toilet because he had a running stomach. All through these happenings, the chickens had kept mute as against the noise that woke their owner up which made her to suspect fowl play. She proceeded to the pen area but nothing was found.

Then she decide to use the toilet, there and then, she saw on the floor of the toilet, one of her hens dead with its feathers all over the toilet floor.

Although she was unaware of the cause of the hen’s death, she raised an alarm in protest but was begged by the teenager not to alert everyone in the


house, begging her to conceal it for him, that he would buy her the chicken. The woman made it known to newsmen that she did not deem it fit to report to the police because she sees it as a minor case that does not need the attention of the police.

However, when the teenager was interrogated, he said: “I was already sleeping when a spirit just came upon me and directed me to go to the back of the building. I did not know what I was doing again until when I discovered that I had slept with the hen.”

The young teenager was however revealed to have been banished earlier from his hometown, Afo in Ose council area of the state when he slept with a goat. This was reported to have made him to move down to his brother’s place where he raped a chicken.
