Christistruth03:Not just sack, thoroughly investigated. But honestly, I thought it was all a rumour, my mind don slip commot from Nigeria that time so I was not interested in the news. But I saw some things online later that made me start wondering if it was actually true. |
Samunique:You don see am na, hard to believe. But come to think of it, accounts to stash the money fit don full, so this one na over excess. Or, as they do, this is quick bribe money almost every Nigerian politician stashes in his house. I tire for Nigeria. |
Nigerians won't take heed now, when their asset disappears into thin air, they start tagging efcc to go and recover their money. |
gidjah:hmn! |
No Nigerian likely qualifies for this loan. To qualify, you must be earning below minimum wage, meaning you are civil servant at least. How many people below that line pays tax? Tax clearance is a condition to access the loan. You see that tinubu doesn't mean any well for you, he only wants to generate more money through school fees. |
abibox02:Mehn, it was published by tribune, I doubt if it is fake. You know, these people don't care any bit for the average Nigerian. Have you heard of the massive corruption revealed by one ex-member of HOR about emefiele and his cronies on stamp duty? Oh my God. The reason the narration on your alert was changed from 'stamp duty' to electronic wetin wetin? Shit! is it the dangote refinery scam? Mehn, if nigerians leave these people in few years Nigeria will be worse than places like papua new guinea. These Nigerian political 'big men' are no better than devil himself. |
Now I know the emefiele guy is foolish. A banker, keeping bags of currency in your house? Nigeria is filled with dumb people, or should I attribute this to impunity that reigns supreme in the country for anyone who has access to power and wealth? No fewer than 18 Ghana-must-go bags containing money and documents have been carted away by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) from the residence of the suspended governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, Nigerian Tribune has been reliably informed.https://tribuneonlineng.com/exclusive-dss-recovers-18-bags-of-currency-documents-from-emefieles-lagos-residence/#:~:text=Emefiele%20was%20said%20to%20have,the%20following%20day%20%5BFriday%5D. |
b3llo:I agree with you on this. Even if his is removed tomorrow, he has added that feather to his cap, though it may not be recognised officially. |
OceanEye:Thank you for the education. I go visit there someday. |
TermuxDarkWeb:These people should stop doing nonsense. How can you invite buhari to deliver a speech on 'educative ways to do what on economy' ? |
notttty:Wow! But the man was obviously a thief, a man who corrupt officers accused of being corrupt. Lol. |
OceanEye:I though Argungu takes place in Bauchi. I have a dream of visiting the place. |
Mrbenny001:Lol, even Bawa too. |
notttty:Hahahahaha. Being known for a wrong thing. |
I still say again, for people always tying every move to witch-hunt, is the person being investigated clean? If a man is not clean and the person in power orders his arrest, whether it looks like a witch-hunt or an ethnic move, I don't care. The only time I don't support such action is when a competent authority has cleared such a person and the person in power still insists on keeping them, like El-Zazarky and Nnamdi Kanu. Most office holders are thieves. It is only Ribadu I may say was a clean EFCC chair, others seem to be thieves. |
notttty:You know ministers are drawn from every state, and most times in their functions they are not identified with their states. Malami the attorney general? |
That Kebbi sounds like it belongs to Niger republic. I doubt if their politicians interacts with other states' politicians. It's possible they have their own laws and are functioning as a country, who knows. Maybe when you enter there, then you read and hear about them. Lol. |
14. Students applying for loan under this Act must apply as provided under section 17 of this Act on satisfaction of the following conditions — (a) applicant must have secured admission into any of the Nigerian universities, polytechnics, colleges of education or any vocational school established by the Federal Government or the Government of any state of the federation.Study the above and use your tongue to count your teeth. The bolded are icing on the cake. Meanwhile, school fees will skyrocket. If this bill takes effect, many Nigerian youth will be denied access to education. Look at this this way, a family with an income of N1m per annum translates to N83,000 per mum, no child from that family is qualified to get the loan. But even now, how convenient is it for such family to feed two children, not to talk of paying school fees for them? Now, even though they struggle to somehow manage (maybe a police father collects enough bribe to be paying his children's fees), the fees will now increase. So, either the policeman increases the rate of bribery, or his children drop out of school. Can you see the ripple effects of bad leadership and governance. Na una go use una head carry am. |
Sorry, I don't mean to whip anyone, the first time I visited OPM when they were still at new airforce road to attend my neighbour's child dedication, I heard this man cursing another 'man of go'. I think that one broke out from his church or what i don't know, but the person was one of his 'servants' until that time. He was cursing that is the man prays for people, instead of the people being blessed it will cause trouble for them. Na there I just mark the man bad, waited for my neighbour to see my face and then I lefts as quickly as I could. |
Where is halima and gistlover? No more gist? |
Hey, How come I've not heard from Halima for some time now? All her threats, we waited, we listened, but nothing. Is she now afraid? Has she been settled? Has she been lying all these while? One of these must be true. People should be careful in life and think things through before engaging, especially when one is an adult. Foolishness of a child is overlooked. The adventurous exuberances of a teenager is understood. But you see the evil of an adult, all adults should be responsible for their actions. The things you choose to do in secret after thinking about it, when it backfires, swallow it alone. Now I am looking at Yule with one corner of my eyes. Tomorrow someone will come and disturb people who know me about how they looked into each others shit pipe. Nonsense! Self-control = self-respect=maturity. |
Lol. There seems to be a darkness of heart attached with skin colour, no offence. Can you imagine in the 80s when there is 90% chance of landing a good job as a graduate. Today, unless Nigeria turns around, they will not give wrong address or fake guarantor, but you will see it clearly that they cannot not afford to pay back. If you talk too much they will say, "after all this is nothing compared to the billions our politicians steal every day". until the black man begins to consider honour over riches and oppression of fellow black man, their future remains grim. |
AfricanGlitz:This shettima is a demon, so manipulative and bitter. His face mirrors his heart most times. He thinks we have forgotten his telephone conversation with Kunle. If you see him shouting 'stability', 'christian', you will think he means well. they have chosen a foolish stooge to perfect their agenda. Nonsense! Allow nature to take its course. I support the man who says 'if you don't have any problem with muslim-muslim ticket for presidency, I don't see why a muslim ticket matters now'. make dem carry this nonsense commot here abeg. Nigerians should start knowing already that there is a differenc between a church-goer and a christian. |
That's their new tactics now. matawalle accused efcc chairman. Let sirika also accuse David hundeyin of asking for 10% too. If this man is not arrested, then tinubu is part of the scam. |

Dainy1:He should be careful with his threats. The sugar daddy may set him up and get him locked away in prison while he has unrestricted access to the woman. He may even kill him. Doesn't he have mistresses? Did he actually neglect his family? People are always quick to gaslight women in nigeria. Did the bible not say something about a man not being able to fend for his family? What was the term the bible used exactly? What else does that mean? Make una dey cut women some slack abeg |
I know it was said that Emefiele had political ambition of becoming the president of Nigeria. I remember Emefiele himself even said something about going to court to get interpretation about his rights. I also remember seeing pictures of buses he allegedly bought for campaign. I never really bothered to check all those bruhaha, I just read the headlines. The reason I never bothered was because I saw such ambition from such a man as being clownish. Maybe it's just my thoughts and assessments, but I feel Emefiele cannot win House of rep in his constituency, unless he is able to access electorates and bribe them to vote him. Do you see any political prospect from that man? Does that man wield any leadership trait when you see him? I don't mean any offence, but I am just saying things the way I viewed/and view them. His regime as CBN governor seemed to be a session of video game played by amateur adults who would think age equates knowledge. Where he blocks other people from accessing forex legitimately and and favouring rich people, who sometimes get the fx when they don't need and simply sell it at black market. People like El rufai once got either 300, 400 or 700m usd (this is no joke). Emefiele and his minions practically goes to the elites to ask them to come request for fx. meanwhile, small importers, foreign students, and other nigerians who needed these funds never had access to it. I don't need to elaborate on this, you all know it. he was accused of owning a bank at some point (I don't care about verifying that) because it was said around banking that once you open account in that bank you don't need to stress yourself to access fx, and that seemed to be the case. His suspension by Tinubu,. I don't see any ethnic influence, tinubu's body language already alluded to this during the campaigns. But, for those protecting emefiele, is there any past cbn governor he is better than? Let's be sincere. I hate it when people complain that someone is being punished doing a wrong thing because some other people who did wrong were not punished. i always ask such people, 'but does he not deserve this punishment?'. i am not supporting tribalism in any way, all evil doers should be punished equally. But instead of not punishing 3 criminals from three ethnic groups, it it better one is punished, at least to rid that ethnic group of one criminal. I mean no offence to anyone reading this, just my opinion and based on my observation as a nigerian in diaspora. |

I thought the Papa Ajasco guy came forth to debunk the rumour of his death then. |
yolada:My write-up may be long, I don't care. Young man, I was forced to 'chuk' mouth inside this your matter, i almost passed. Your business sense shows you are like a hawk suddenly freed from a cage she hatched into, not knowing that if she doesn't hunt out there she will become a prey. POS and Okada seem to be the only businesses you know. And the funny thing is that you have not brought yourself to ft into these 'business ideas' of yours. You will open a POS business and put someone to manage it. You will buy okada and give someone to pay you every week. And that is how easy life sounds to you? If you had said "I will buy okada and open a POS, I run okada in the morning and retire to the POS spot in the evening" or "I will buy okada and be riding until I get a better job", or "I will start a POS business for now so that I can be feeding until I get something better", then I would take you more seriously. Also, when you come to a public forum like this and seek advice, some people will abuse you while offering their advice. Ignore the insult and take the advice. But perhaps because of your age (note that some of your age-mates have more than one child), your naivety may still be ignored. I know you may not give all the details of what led to this decision, but if know you more than this, I may be of great help to you. Note that a 16 year old earning 12k per month may feel on top of the world, either because that money buys more stuff than he needed, or because he earns more than his peers around him. But give it 3 years max and he starts whining about meagre pay. 1m may look big to you, but it can be blown in one night. Think if you are kidnapped now and the bad people hold you down until they clear your account. What next will you do if this money is gone? That is the life you need to start living already, like the money is gone. If you must relocate, I suggest you get hooked with someone in that place already. And don't make it look like you are coming like Dangote pickin, let it be like you only have access to 50k, after which you are empty. Then you should start looking to squat with someone and start even if it a manual labour job to be able to pay the bills asap. That will also help reset your brain. Then you start seeing life through the right prism. It is then you will appreciate how much your parents have been able to labour to give you all the comfort you have had. I know you are an adult, but trust me, as a young man, when you get your own place without a brain reset, somehow 'girlfriend' will enter the equation. And once that happens, you are heading to the rocks already. In the the midst of your hussling, think of going back to a higher institution where you are, even if it is open university E get why. meanwhile, go put that 900k or 950k in a fixed deposit until your brain has reset. While you are struggling to make ends meet with determination, if you are business savvy, then you will know the kind of business that suits your new environment. Another you can do if you don't have eye for business but have eye for ICT is to learn a soft skill NOW, as in NOW. Programming, data analysis, Full stack, whatever. With that you can look for a job and start a career. . But if I know your story, I can also advise how you can travel out of the country, but with the support of your parents, without spending too much. Na there I go advise you how settle down quick and then grow because many factors impede success naturally in Nigeria for the upright man. Your future is bright, don't let any man rob you of it. |
Moh247:But do you think his mother did the right thing to oppose his marriage to that girl? Of course the girl will make him dissociate from those who hate her because they are now one flesh. It is possible other people supported his mother too, the reason he blanked everyone. people want to be happy on another person's life at the detriment of the main actor. Funny, isn't it? |
Darlingme:Hahahaha. Because it is cheaper than keeping him and giving him money. You give him 30k today, next month he asks for 50k, next 100k. He keeps coming back. And when you have given him so much, that man will forget he was starving and starts chasing other women. He may even go take a second wife, or chieftaincy title - on top other people money o. But if he dies, which will happen to all eventually, then you can spend for the burial just once. Those people rejecting the contributions for burial, where were they when their father died of hunger? Is it not shameful? Are his brothers his parents? This entitlement mentality sef. They don't owe you or your father jack. If they have and are disposed, fine. Afterall, you didn't lost what your father did for the brothers when he had money. If they were wicked to have let your father die of hunger, then you are devil himself for not feeding your father. you think they don't have mouths to feed themselves. He works in an oil company in PH so? You have calculated his salary and assumed a percentage of that salary should be coming to your father every month. yeye people. |
DataCrab:Pray the spirit leaves you bro, gambling is so addictive. If you see someone tomorrow who wins money through that channel, your fantasies will come alive. The best approach is to stay away from anything gambling, not to select the channel. |
