Family › Re: I Can't Forgive My Late Mummy And My Daddy by ruffhandu: 3:53pm On Aug 06, 2023 |
peretei2024: My fellow Nairalanders,
Tell me why I must forgive my daddy and my Late Mummy.
I was 4years while my elder Sister was 6years when my daddy and my Mummy had a serious misunderstanding, so few weeks later, my daddy was transferred to Kaduna from Lagos being a Solder ( who knows I he was the on that requested for that).
On one fateful day, my Mummy went to the market to buy some stuffs in the Market, then here com my Daddy's younger Sister( Aunt) with a vehicle. She forced I and my elder Sister to the vehicle and moved is straight to my Daddy's village in Ondo State. We cried, cried , and cried but our tears couldn't saved us.
Finally we landed in a village where there is no light, no hospitals, no good schools, in the hand of strange people we don't know.
Remember I said we were moved when I was 4years. Now at 5years in the village, daddy never visited, mummy never visited, so I had to start tapping Palmwine just to raise money to start my Primary school in the village. After a year or so, I was able to get some money to pay for my Primary school. I decided that I can't continue with this Palmwine tapping at this year, so I work hard and raise some money to start selling bottles of kerosene to sponsor myself from Primary to Secondary school.
When I was in JSS3 , my Elder Sister got pregnant for a guy out of frustration and betrayal from the path of our Parents who abandoned us for years. Our Uncle in the village who never care about us , informed my daddy that his daughter is pregnant for a guy ooh, then my daddy said the guy must marry her . Finally the guy agreed, then my daddy who never visited us for over 15years came down to the village because of the money he will collect.
After marriage rites, I was taken to Lagos by my elder brother.
Note: my Mummy whom I never see for over 15years knicked me out of the house after spending just 1week with her in the house. Her complain was that I believe like a bush boy.
My elder Sister is still married to the guy in the village and she can't even express herself in English, and this is a lady that was born here in Lagos.
Tell me how I will forgive them after going through hell because of selfish Parents.
My mummy died 4years ago but I didn't even know where her grave is because we were never in good terms and till tomorrow, I will not forgive her not even my daddy. I was surprised to see "elder brother" in the story. Where did that come from. I hope this unforgiveness had not/won't hinder your progress. You should be making this post after you have made it in life, then go and show face in your village, and let it filter into you father's ears (in case he doesn't live there now) that you have made it. Nä so I watch one irresponsible man bagging his son to forgive and take him in now that the young boy has money, meanwhile he drove the boy out of his house when he was 12 because he married a single mother with 3 children. The shameless man thinks by just saying sorry pains disappear. WHATSOEVER A MAN SOWS HE SHALL REAP |

GodSaklek: U are not intelligent by posting this lies, let me educate u,i always thought igbos are all well educated like yorubas until i travel to SA,.i remembered in 2016 when i visited south african home affairs with a friend who wanted a permit document,i discovered that many nigerians wanted to renew their assylum permits in which majority are igbos(80%),i discovered that many of them couldnt write their name or understand the contents, then i decide to help,i helped about 112 of them, although some later offered me money for the assistance, many of them are into dirty business like drugs, minors prostitutions and other illegal things(i dont want to talk about this). Some SA thinks am not from nigeria becus of my acents cuz igbos comunicate in pidgin of which some SA barely understand. Bro,u need to move around for more xperienz and exposure.
ruffhandu Kossyso SWATMan Sharpsharp00123 DodadaKoKigbe But to be honest, from what I have seen, many Igbos in SA are not educated. Most educated Igbos in SA are professionals. I stand to be corrected, Most Igbos in SA who are wealthy are criminals. I don't see anything that takes an uneducated nigerian to SA if not crime- drug especially. If you tell me you live in SA and you are wealthy, I just stay away from you because I know there is 99% chance that you are a criminal. Now I hear some have started moving from drug to robbery, yahoo and yahoo plus. But the cash tree for Igbo boys in SA is drug+jazz. They don't need education because they have a community there. But for the data, I used to think SW is most educated going by the advantage they had early, even during the war, since the Igbos had stiff set-back, during and after the war. But the recent stats actually push SE states up, states like Anambra, Imo, Abia on the education platform. Check the cut-off marks for Unity schools. Anambra, according to stats, seems to truly be the most educated in Nigeria. But states like Ebonyi I thinks pushes SE lower on the ladder. |

There is sense in this talk. I learnt Nigeria has cut off electricity to niger, thus breaching a pact with the country signed may years ago iro kainji dam. I see the dam not having sufficient water to function in the coming days, or the dam being brown up completely, thus throwing a section of Nigeria into darkness. Tinubu is fighting to be accepted, he is a tool for France (we all know his relationship with France). But like he has been warned, he should watch his back lest he faces a coup himself. Eliminate terrorism in Nigeria first before going to fight a sovereign Nation. |

Aladeintl: There was this popular MoG from Ibadan who do early morning prayer on Ajilete FM that I adamantly forbid my wife from listening to.
I told her, 'I am not saying you shouldn't listen to him but not under my own roof.'
I didn't banned her because the man was fake. I didn't think the MoG is fake, but I find some of his modus operandi unbiblical.
Likewise, some songs like Daddy wey dey pamper is not fit my own family. While I am around, she mustn't.
I will soon delete that song from her phone sef.
Read tales of a Nursing Dad here www.joelalade.home.blog
I once collected her purse and gave her only transport fare when she was going for a crusade organized by one prophet olororo.
What is my drift? I have no qualm with Pastor Jerry Eze and his YouTube early morning prayer ministry but it is a disgrace and dishonour to you, the man of the house, if your woman can wake up to listen to other man before you.
It's a disgrace to my fatherhood if my kids are doing morning devotion via internet led by another man and wife and kids aren't to be blamed.
Therefore, we men, should truly man up and be the leader God made us.
The likes of Pastor Jerry Eze and co come into equation because many men are not spiritual leader. He is filling the gaps created by spiritually-absent fathers.
Your wife jumping from one prayer mountain to another is because you haven't ascertain your spiritual headship in the head.
And for those joining Pastor Jerry from their boyfriend's room, just dey play ooo, dey play ooo.
May God helps us to discharge our duties accordingly.
Ire oooooooo What is wrong in God being called Daddy wey dey pamper? Him no dey pamper all these sinful humans by not killing them? I have not heard the song you are referring to but I want to ask you a question. Have you been regular at having a prayer time with your family? As I understand, the morning prayer you refer to starts at 7am, if your wife is disposed at 7-8am I don't think it is a problem. If your own family altar lasts beyond 7am I may say that is quite late (most men leave home before or past 7am, unless your kind of business allows you the freedom of waking up anytime you like). For me, I will only have issues with my wife if she joins that prayer at the expense of my family. My family altar should ideally be from 5 to 6am, then I prepare for the day. But most Christians are spurred to pray when led by another person, and no prayer is a waste. Since you have certified that you are not against the programme, I don't think any prayer session is wrong, so long time is created for it. Just make sure you lead your family to be fervent in your own prayer design. Also, you need to consider her faith. It may be by listening to testimonies that builds her faith, so also make sure you create avenue for that too. In summary, 'Let the woma breef'. |

I am starting to think they migrated from cameroon to that region in the late 1800s. so the question is if they are Cameroonians why do they want to form biafra in nigeria ? look at this map and tell me i am wrong

BIRTH AND EARLY DAYS Born 54 years ago in Badagry, Lagos State (18th January, 1959), she is the first child in a family of four girls. She stated that her father raised her as a boy, and even at a tender age, she was already doing all the 'manly' chores in the house, such as repairing sockets and driving vehicles. She also talked of a superb childhood where everyone encouraged her to aim for the highest goals and achievements.
EDUCATION AND NAVAL TRAINING
In 1985, she graduated from the University of Nigeria (UNN), Nsukka, Enugu State where she read architecture, after which she worked for two years as an architect after which she went for her professional exams. After that, she made attempts to join the army but she was rejected as they told her there was no place for ladies in its engineering corps. Disappointed and feeling dejected, it was until some one hinted her to try the Navy, where recruitment take place irregardless of the gender. Then she tried, got enlisted in 1985 and today, she is a Rear Admiral. She said in an interview with the Sun of the tough training: The person who wrote this thing needs to be flogged twice, unless this piece was not written this year but in 2013, then he should be flogged once. The second part is the bolded. Does it make sense? |

This year I threatened to leave and this people promised to do something. When the pay came in last week, na 5k dem add. Like seriously??
Meanwhile, my other clients added up to 20k, and some added 10k the same time I approached all of them last year.
So I wanted to call and ask if it was a mistake but I said let me ask round first and some my colleagues in the same field said they even tried that they have clients of over twenty years that have not added one naira to their pay.
Please, is it worth it especially now that there's serious inflation? Continue what? Keep wasting your destiny somewhere and thinking you can't survive outside of it. Politics › Re: Greed: Why Dangote Refinery May End Up Like Ajaokuta Steel by ruffhandu: 4:35pm On Jun 25, 2023 |
SSFeedsNigeria: Anyone who has been to Ajaokuta Iron and Steel complex will be bewildered at how massive it is. One can drive for several miles and still be inside Ajaokuta steel complex. It cost Nigeria billions of dollars to build this elephant project. The community also lost vast lands that could have been used for agriculture or other productive ventures.
Today, Dangote refinery is dangerously following in the paths Ajaokuta steel took many years ago. The prognosis is even looking much worse for Dangote refinery when you consider that Dangote refinery is being built very far away from its source of raw material unlike Ajaokuta steel that was built on the site of huge iron ore deposit.
Worse still, instead of building an average sized refinery, maybe 50,000bpd capacity, he chose to build the world's largest single train refinery in 2023! This poor decision shows that Dangote is far from being astute an businessman/investor as aclaimed. Aside having his ego massaged, Dangote hoped to monopolize Nigeria's downstream oil sector, same way he did with cement and sugar. But unfortunately for him, it has backfired.
If Dangote didn't allow greed to come over him, he would have built a 50,000bpd refinery and he would have completed it since. But that capacity won't give him the monopoly he wants so he ended up building a refinery that can't be completed.
Already, many countries, particularly in Europe, America and Asia are fast transitioning to electric cars. Nigeria has now removed the bureaucracy that made power generation unviable, so very soon, electricity is going to be constant. By then used electric cars would start flooding third world countries, including Nigeria. As if that isn't bad enough for the future prospects of Dangote refinery, gas is now more abundant, cheaper, cleaner and also receiving huge investments. Innoson had earlier converted over 10,000 vehicles in Benin to run on CNG and the company is also expanding on that project.
Now that it has overstretched its limits on borrowing, how would they be able to raise more funds to complete the refinery?
So, let's assume that Dangote refinery is able to come on stream by 2025, then where is he going to find market for its products? With the options for CNG and electric powered vehicles which are both traditionally cheaper, who will want to buy fuel again? Even household generators won't be needed again in the near future.
All these indications show that Dangote refinery is very likely going to end up moribond like Ajaokuta steel. I said it somewhere that the.end of oil has started and some who lack understanding came for me, I still stand on that. In Kano, as we speak, a young man has fitted Keke and some commercial mini buses with 100% electric power, he is still improving. The only option Dangote has now is to do what he is known for, use govt to frustrate all other petroleum importers. Can you imagine what the idiot sought and got? Make him the sole supplier of refined product, even if he is out of product, only him can import. If he had gotten away with that (which he would have if the dullard was still the president), he would have claimed his refinery is now running, and then he will import fuel to his yard and sell from a yet-to-function refinery. The kind of economic revolution that will happen in Nigeria in the next 5 years will shock the demons called politicians. As we speak, some people has already jettisoned petrol, and the number can only increase. Yes, I agree with you, dangote may perish with his monopoly if he doesn't bribe or blackmail tinubu. |
